Random headcanon written on a Saturday

Sebastian enjoys anime. He will watch the Gundams just to hang out with Maru. But he will hang out with Sophia to watch the romantic ones. He likes a good sappy anime love story. Always at her place. Doesn't want to be judged by his family.

Sam watches Saturday morning cartoons with his dad and Vincent. They eat sugar cereal and try to keep the volume down so Jodi can sleep in. Kent particularly enjoys Scooby-Doo.

Claire has a thousand dancing competition and bachelor shows on her DVR. She imagines someday she could land on Dancing with the Stars. If she is ever brave enough to go to auditions in Zuzu City.

Gunther watches Antique Roadshow and American Pickers. He also has a guilty pleasure - Duck Dynasty.

Victor likes watching the Home and Garden channel with his mom. They critique what other people like in design. He sketches our what he would do differently.

Years ago, Willy fell in love. He says she had the sweetest lyrical voice, killer red hair, and a shiny green tail. Maybe he's telling fish tales. Maybe he met a Mermaid. Who knows? His favorite Disney movie is The Little Mermaid.

Robin catches daytime soaps with Caroline and Marnie. They make popcorn and wonder why their lives are so boring sometimes.

Abigail watches adventure movies like Indiana Jones. She dragged Sebastian and Sam to see Uncharted in theaters.

Shane likes a good animal movie. Free Willy. Charlotte's Web. Homeward Bound makes him cry every time.

Harvey watches the medical dramas and wonders if the scriptwriter ever spent a day in an actual hospital.

Pam channel surfs. She can never settle on one thing. Game shows are her favorite though. She envisions herself winning Supermarket Sweep one day. Then maybe she can give Penny the life she deserves.

Alex is embarrassed to admit but he likes Ten Things I Hate About You.

Evelyn drives to Grampleton to pick up watermelons every Friday. She also stops at the video store to rent a war movie to watch with George on Saturday morning. And an animated to watch once he goes to bed. Hoodwinked, grandma!

Leah likes catching reruns of Bob Ross on PBS. He was her childhood crush.

Emily likes music videos. She had a Gwen Stefani phase. This sh*t is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S! Haley stole her cd.

Morris watches Shark Tank. Then he wonders why he is still stuck in the small town middle management phase of his life.

So, despite having downloaded SVE not long after it originally came out, there is a lot of it's content that I've never explored character-wise. One of the characters that I've never really paid attention to in the past is Morris. So, on this particular playthrough, I've made more of an effort to have Callie talk to/befriend him, Claire, and Martin, which led to this conversation:

Which... I donno, it really struck me for some reason, so I snapped some screenshots.

But then when Callie dropped by the saloon to kill time until the festival, she had this exchange with Shane:

And it's just such a beautiful contrast in their characters. I know Shane's dialogue comes from Immersive Shane, whereas Morris's comes from Stardew Valley Expanded, but they compliment each other so damn well.

I had a fanfic idea where Sam gets fired from his job for the most stupid and unfair of reasons (not his fault, Morris is just mean), so he and the Farmer (and maybe Shane) team up to ruin the Joja Mart for good (without getting into to too much trouble). Like planting grass inside the store (you can actually do this in the game), rearranging the stock/inventory incorrectly, that sort of thing. Coincidentally, the Community Center gets fixed the very next day…idk if I will write all of this but it’s an idea I have.

Oh ho ho! You know, anon, that would be a great headcanon!

I can imagine Morris really unfairly firing Sam because of a merchandise mover who came and brought out new Joja goods, broke something, and put all the blame on Sam. And Morris, not in the best mood that day, fired Sam without understanding the problem. Even Shane couldn't help Sam when he tried to stand up for him. And when the Farmer found out about this, they decided to give Morris a real hell, and the restoration of the Community Center would finish off the greedy manager Joja completely.

And at the same time... It's quite difficult for me to write such a headcanon, because in this case, Morris will not be the main villain, but the victim.

After discovering the Stardew Valley Expanded mod, I now look differently at the characters that in the vanilla version just act like assholes. Because such an act on the part of Sam, Shane and Farmer will create trouble not for Morris, but for cashiers Claire and Martin. And Morris really only wanted the best for Valley, it was just that his image of "the best" was different. His sad face when the people of the Valley boycott Joja on Community Center rebuilding day. Like wow, I usually dislike Morris, but then...

I'm sorry anon that I'm talking about this mod so often, because maybe you don't know about this mod and I'm just here mumbling about it. But it's just that I've always been interested in being a kind of devil's advocate and looking at the characters as misunderstood personalities, and not cartoonish villains. Such emotions, before the discovery of sve mod, Clint evoked in me, when most people in the sdv community called him creep and 'nice guy', but I always thought that he was simply misunderstood. I hope than makes sense (English is so hard, damn).

still mad at SVE (Stardew Valley Extended)

ok so basically a bunch of time ago i complained on a discord server that i just want stardew valley 2

and a good person told me about the SVE mod which is baasically that, adding lots of stuff and people and relationships and places to Stardew Valley

I was skeptical but tried it out

and, okay, the writing wasn’t AS good as the original, but it had Lots of good ideas I loved (the cashier girl from the JojaMart is now a befriendable NPC!!! her name is Claire!!! the cinema boy is called Martin and also works at JojaMart and is befriendable!!! Morris is befriendable!!! Wizard is romanceable!!! Marlon from the Adventurers’ Guild is befriendable!!!) so I played

and the part I was low key most skeptical of was two new NPCs, an adult son and a middle-aged mother, WHO WERE BOTH ROMANCEABLE

now, you MUST understand: I am a 100%-er. Stardew Valley has ALWAYS allowed you to romance Everyone At Once and I’d grown complacent. I didn’t LIKE the idea much, but it seemed like a natural thing encouraged by the gameplay, you know? get 10 hearts with EVERYONE EVER.

and then I come into their house for a heart event and after the party ends another heart event starts where they... yell at me?

“you were trying to hide it!” ma’am I made out with your son in front of you two days ago and you said Nothing (I have also installed a hugs and kisses mod, and also a multiple marriage mod, because why not go big if I’m already radically modding)

“you have to pick which of us you will continue dating, in the meantime take -lots to the relationship”

and like... I closed the game then and there, and I guess if I avoid going into their house I’m pretty sure I can avoid this happening

but like... I don’t want to play it anymore? It has kiiinda betrayed a core gameplay value of Stardew Valley which is basically that you can’t fuck up. like you can fail at a task, you can lose a (retrievable) thing, but there are no Morally Wrong choices available that aren’t telegraphed miles in advance and are your choice anyway (the JojaMart vs Community Center routes). like, if I’d been given a prompt when I was asking the second one of htem out “are you sure? they will be mad” that would be fucking fine but i WASN’T. the game made it seem like a normal regular thing you did along the course of its progression and then SURPRISE YOU’RE A TERRIBLE PERSON

this is bad mod design because it goes against the gameplay philosophy of the original game without making it clear to the player what they’re opting into

Povratak legende: Nedeljko Bilkić promovisao album i pokazao da je i u devetoj deceniji u punoj snazi

Već punih šest decenija Nedeljko Bilkić važi za jednog od najcenjenijih pevača na prostoru Balkana, za nekog ko je u bogatoj karijeri ostavio pregršt hitova za sva vremena, ali i za nekoga ko se uvek trudi da pomera granice. Jednu od njih upravo je pomerio sinoć kada je promovisao svoj album “Hvala bogu” i tako postao najstariji diskografski aktivni pevač na svetu.

No, to što je u devetoj deceniji života nikako nije znak da je izgubio bilo šta od magije u glasu. Naprotiv, legendarni pevač je u novim pesmama, koje će zasigurno naći mesto uz njegove stare hitove koji su ušli u istoriju muzike, pokazao da je muzički i vokalno i dalje u punoj snazi, i da mladi i dalje imaju na koga da se ugledaju.

Čitav događaj okupio je izvođače i autore svih generacija domaće estradne scene pa su među onima koji su došli da premijerno čuju album bili i Leo Martin, Slavko Banjac, Radiša Urošević, Miša Mijatović, Jasna Kočijašević, Damir Handanović (sa suprugom, ministarkom Đedović), Aleksandar Tirnanić, Neda Nikolić, Čeda Marković, Dejan Nedić Tejovac, Slavko Stefanović Slavkoni, Zoran Jagodić Rule, Acko Nezirović, Nenad Manojlović, i mnogi drugi, a najveću pažnju medija privukla je supruga domaćina večeri - Dušica Bilkić. Legendarna pevačica, naime, već više od decenije važi za nekoga ko se povukao iz javnosti, te je ovo bila jedinstvena prilika da je predstavnici medija vide, a opšti zaključak je da i njoj kao i Nedeljku godine predstavljaju samo broj.

- Naravno da sam tu uz svog supruga kao što sam oduvek i bila. Čula sam album i srećna sam što i dalje postoje autori koji forsiraju kvalitet a ne samo trendove - rekla je vidno srećna Dušica.

U zvaničnom delu programa koji je vodila Dragana Katić, Bilkić se zahvalio svima koji su došli da ga podrže.

- Drago mi je što ovde vidim mnogo ljudi koje i poslovno i privatno cenim. Hvala i medijima na ovolikoj pažnji, mi smo pesmama dali svu ljubav i posvetili smo se svakoj kao da je singl. Naša želja je i da publika to prepozna i da zavoli ove, kao što je zavolela pesme “Krčma u planini”, “Tebi, majko, misli lete”, “Most do moga zavičaja” i mnoge druge - rekao je Bilkić da bi potom i uživo zapevao nove pesme ali i stare hitove u pratnji istaknutog umetnika Aleksandra Sofronijevića, koji stoji kao producent i aranžer iza pesama, a čija kuća “AS studioton” je objavila album.

- Naša čast je da nam poverenje daju legende poput gospodina Bilkića. Mi smo još mala kuća, ali imamo velike želje i ambiciju da vratimo kvalitet na muzičku scenu i to upravo pokazujemo kroz ovaj ali i sve druge projekte koje smo radili ili pripremamo - rekao je Sofronijević koji je sa Bilkićem, uz podršku orkestra, razgalio sve pristune.

Selam, koje lokacije obići u Bihaću?

Gdje se može fino jesti i popiti kafa? Hvala.

Bihać, sam po sebi mali gradić ali je lijep. Sam grad ne nudi neki aman sadržaj ali sa okolnim mjestima se može napraviti lijepa tura. Prirodne ljepote: Štrbački buk, Martin Brod i maltane svaki dio pored rijeke. Može se obići i Ostrožac (stari dvorac kod Cazina) Skolačka kula (koja se vidi s glavne ceste) i tako. Postoji i par mjesta s kojih je lijep pogled na sam grad i na rijeku Unu. Što se restorana tiče, zavisi kakav ambijent tražiš ali može se fino jesti na par lokacija. Nisu sve estetski lijepi i kraj rijeke ali ima par mjesta. (zavisi šta ti se jede, ne bih preporučio sve svugdje)

Dobre kafe iskreno nema u Bihaću po mom mišljenju, najpopularnija mjesta za sjesti su vjerovatno Kafeterija, Fabrika, River i možda Gig za srednjoškolce haha. Imaju dvije pristojne slastičarnice, Orijent i na Ozimicama (Trova). Postoji velik izbor kafića pa zavisi šta ti je lijepo i šta tražiš.
