Alexandra Cabot was top of her class. Many selfish and jealous people thought that she was the best just because she was a known person because of her last name. But the truth was that Alex was dedicated to school, she had always been, since she can remember; she spent her free days with books, she loved them. It wasn’t entirely a lie that her family had influenced her in getting into law school, but she was happy with her decision, and she was going to do anything to get to her goals, meaning, she wouldn’t let anything distract her from getting what she wanted. She was probably the only person in her class that didn’t go to parties or gatherings with her classmates, she didn’t go to the games the school held, she just focused on her studies. Did she regret it? Maybe. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to have a social life, she had her friend, but she knew that university was not about parties.
For two whole years it stayed that way, nothing had changed her mind, and she was still very much focused on her studies; that was until her eyes landed on a redhead. One of her classes had gotten canceled, meaning she had 2 hrs free to do whatever she wanted; so she decided to finish homework she had. She had thought about going to the library, but she decided she’d go for a coffee near her building, and she’d spend the two hours there. This was a coffee shop that she normally visited every now and then when she wanted to be at the library, the coffee, and the food in there was really good, and the environment was actually calm, and it helped her concentrate on the things she had to do. But as she sat down in her usual spot and looked around, she noticed a redhead taking an order. She had never seen her here, clearly, because she’d remember that beautiful smile. For a moment she was too stunned by how beautiful she was, she had stared way too longer that she didn’t notice her friend sitting right in front of her.
“Alex?”
Alex snapped out of her thoughts and stared at her friend. “H-Hi! Sorry. I uh…when did you get here?”
Erin chuckled. “I’ve been here for like 3 minutes. How long have you been staring at the redhead?” She grinned as she got her notebook and book out of her bag.
“I- what do you mean?” Alex chuckled nervously. “I was not staring at anyone, just…a bit lost. Thinking what I’m ordering.”
“Uhuh…as if you never order the same, Cabot.” Erin chuckled. “But okay, I’ll believe you. What are you ordering?” She raised her brow.
Alex sighed as she grinned. “Black coffee and a chocolate croissant.”
Erin laughed. “See? Why is it wrong that I caught you staring at the redhead? She’s really pretty.”
Alex shrugged. “I have never seen her here before.”
“She hasn’t been here for long. I saw her the day I came to buy us coffee. I think I heard she’s a law student too.”
Alex raised her brow. “Law student?” She nodded. “I can actually see that.” She said almost in a whisper as she got her things out.
“Alexandra Cabot is getting interested in someone after two years.” Erin smirked.
Alex looked up and shook her head rapidly. “I- Erin no! I just- I was-“
“Hi ladies! My name is Casey, can I offer you anything to drink or eat?” Casey smiled at both of them and then her eyes landed on Alex’s.
Alex cleared her throat as she looked up at Casey, trying to talk but all of a sudden, she forgot how to do that. Erin wanted to laugh but cleared her throat too, getting Casey’s attention. “I’ll get an iced latte with sugar please. And to eat, I’ll just get a muffin.” She then looked at Alex. “Alex? What are you ordering?”
“I- uh…black coffee and a croissant, please.” Alex offered a shy smile.
Casey grinned as she nodded. “Comin’ right up.” She then walked away, but not before she turned to look at Alex again, offering a smile.
Erin laughed and threw her head back. “Oh my, I never thought I’d live to see the day of seeing Alexandra Cabot getting nervous for someone! So.” She looked back at Alex. “Is your type redheads?”
“Jesus, Erin, drop it.” Alex sighed as she covered her face, blushing. “Let’s just-“ she sighed as she looked back at Erin. “Let’s get this done, we have class, and we need to hurry.”
“Avoiding. It is true that you always learn something new from people.” Erin chuckled teasingly as she opened her book.
Alex bit her lip as she looked at Erin for a moment, and then she turned her head to look at Casey. She had come out to Erin just a year ago, admitting that she had always been attracted to girls, but she never said a thing because she didn’t think it was relevant, but when Erin asked if she wanted to go on a double date with some guys, Alex thought it would be good to let Erin know that she was not into guys. She was relieved when Erin accepted her and never judged her, it was the other way around, actually, she was pretty much trying to get a date for Alex in every possible chance, but Alex refused reminding her that she only cared about school and not some dumb romance in university. But now…she had to admit that maybe a little crush on someone wouldn’t hurt. She didn’t actually have a type, she didn’t know if she did. But until now, all she knew, is that Casey could be her type.
********************
Alex sighed as she tried to keep her mind concentrated in the book she had in front of her, she was studying for finals and Erin was supposed to meet her at the coffee shop so they could study together, but at the end plans had changed and now Alex sat at her same spot, trying to focus on her book and hoping to not get distracted with the redhead. She didn’t even know if she worked that day, but the last time she had been going to the coffee shop, Casey was right there, and even if there was someone else taking orders, Casey was always the one that took their order. What Alex had been trying to avoid had happened; she had accepted to herself that she had a crush on Casey. She had been trying to avoid it, she had been trying to not think about her, but it was impossible after learning that she was also a law student, she was in her first year, so it’s not like they’d ever have same classes, but she had caught her in the hallways every now and then.
How did she know about this? Because of course Erin was encouraging her crush. She teased her every possible chance she had. She had also found out that Casey was in the softball team of the university, and it honestly made sense with how beautiful her body was. Alex tried hard to not think about Casey and about the new information that Erin had provided her, but in the last 4 months, it was kind of impossible not to think about Casey. That smile, those eyes, that voice. Alex was now lost, and she knew it. There was no turning back from this, unless of course, she tried to get over it or she found out that Casey had a boyfriend or something, which could break her heart…break her heart was probably too much. But she would feel sad? She was confused to say the least. It was just a stupid crush. That was it. A crush.
“Alex!”
Alex looked up from her book and her heart stopped for a moment as she stared at Casey, who was smiling at her. “Casey…hi.”
“You remember my name!” Casey chuckled softly.
How could I not remember it? “Yes, I do.” Alex chuckled. “You’re not working today?”
“Oh, I worked earlier. But I have finals, so they let me leave early. I actually just finished my shift and was going to stay around to study.” Casey smiled as she looked at Alex’s book. “I take it that you’re also studying.”
Alex looked down at her book and smiled. “Yes…I uh…I am.” She looked back at Casey. “I’m just reading again, I already studied.” She chuckled nervously.
“Well, I’ve heard that you’re top of your class, so I believe you’re more than ready for any exam.” Casey grinned.
“You’ve…heard about me.” Alex frowned as she smiled.
“A little, yes.” Casey smiled. “I’m sorry I don’t wanna take your time. I- oh! I brought you this.” Casey placed a coffee and a small bag beside it. “Some encouragement to study.” She grinned.
Alex looked at the coffee and the small bag and smiled. “Is that…”
“Black coffee and a chocolate croissant. You always order the same.” Casey smiled. “I’ll see you around?”
Alex nodded. “Hey…do you…maybe want some help with studying? You can sit with me if you want to.”
Casey smiled. “Really?”
Alex nodded again. “Sure.”
“I’d actually appreciate that.” Casey smiled as she placed her backpack on the floor and sat down in front of Alex.
Alex knew that this wouldn’t really help her crush, but at this point, who really cared about it? She was going down, bad, and she knew it. Casey had heard about her, she knew her name, she had even learned her order. And the funny thing was that the very first time she met Casey, she had brought her a plain croissant because Alex had not mentioned she wanted a chocolate one, but suddenly Casey started bringing her the right order, and now she learned it, and even if it seemed nothing, it was everything to Alex. But then her mind started playing tricks on her. Why would someone like Casey want to be with Alex? Even hang out with her? It was surprising enough that Erin was her friend, they were totally different but similar at the same time, but they were able to build a close friendship. But Casey, she was younger by two years, but why would she find any interest in Alex? She was probably just being friendly, maybe she just wanted to know people who were older to have some sort of help in school, but the reality was that Alex didn’t care. The thought of helping Casey and being able to spend time with her made her feel good. This was so wrong, but she didn’t care.
********************
“Where are we going?” Alex asked as she sighed, crossing her arms as she waited for Erin.
Erin smiled as she walked to Alex, closing her closet. “We’re going to a softball game.”
Alex frowned. “We never go to those, Erin.”
“Now we are.” Erin grinned as she handed Alex a shirt with the softball team logo.
Alex stared at it and then realized what Erin was doing. “Erin.” She looked up at her. “No.
“Alex. Yes.” Erin smirked as she threw Alex the shirt. “C’mon, we’re gonna be late.”
“You made me come all the way here so you can embarrass me and take me to a game. Casey’s game.” Alex grabbed the shirt from her shoulder, looking down at it.
“It’s just a game! You get to see Casey play. You’re gonna tell me you don’t wanna see her.” Erin smirked as she turned to grab the rest of her stuff.
Alex sighed as she took off her hoodie and put the shirt on. “You’re gonna pay for this.”
Erin laughed. “You’re gonna tell me you haven’t been spending more time at the coffee shop.” She turned to look at Alex. “Oh, wait. With Casey, actually.”
Alex frowned. “I…haven’t.”
“Oh, yes you have. I saw you two days in a row, sitting with her.”
“I was helping her study!”
“So you introduced yourself?” Erin raised her brows.
Alex cleared her throat as she looked down at her hoodie. “She heard about me and knew my name…” she whispered softly as she looked up at Erin.
Erin smirked. “Oh, someone’s got a crush on you.”
Alex rolled her eyes. “Can’t we just go? Please.”
Erin chuckled. “Fine, let’s go.”
As they got to the field, Erin tried to get them to good stands so they could get a perfect look of the game. Erin went crazy buying food and snacks, but Alex was truly nervous that she’d be seeing Casey playing. In one of their meetings, Casey had talked about her playing softball and the training she had, which meant that she barely had any time to do anything at all, between school, work and practice, her days were pretty busy. So the fact that she had stayed hours with Alex meant everything to her, even if they had been mostly studying the whole time. Alex looked around as she sat down, her eyes suddenly landing on the redhead who was stretching. Her breath hitched as she noticed the tight uniform and how it hugged her body perfectly; she wanted to give herself a slap as she was focusing on her body, which was definitely not right. Her eyes went back to Casey’s face, and to her luck, Casey was already staring at her, a smile on her face as she waved. Alex blushed slightly as she waved back, smiling back at her.
Eventually, the game finally started, everyone around them screaming and clapping for the team. She didn’t even know what was supposed to happen in the game, but she was willing to stay focused for Casey. Erin tried to instruct her what was happening, but even if she tried to listen to Erin, she really didn’t understand a thing. Finally, Casey put on her helmet and grabbed her bat, earning loud screams as she walked to her base. Alex’s eyes lit up as she looked at Casey, smiling as she positioned herself; she had seen some baseball games with her father before, and so far, she knew that Casey’s team was winning, and if she hit a…homerun? Something. They’d win the whole game. Or that’s what her mind made up. She couldn’t help but scream and stand up when Casey started running fast around all the bases, the whole crowd going insane screaming Casey’s name. Erin and Alex jumped and screamed together as Casey’s team surrounded to celebrate the win, everyone cheering for them and throwing food and water. Alex’s eyes focused on Casey for a moment, and her smile slowly faded as she noticed a girl hugging Casey and placing her hand on Casey’s cheek, leaning in to kiss her cheek. Alex cleared her throat and looked at Erin, offering a small smile as her heart sank.
Alex had asked Erin if they could already leave, not wanting to stay there anymore, even if it meant that they’d lose the celebration and the team. Erin had drunk a lot of soda and water, so Alex was waiting for her outside the restrooms, wrapping her hoodie around her waist and crossing her arms as she looked around. A bunch of people kept celebrating and screaming, running around, and jumping. Alex never understood sports, and she couldn’t believe that Erin had convinced her to come just to have her heart hurt at the sight of another girl kissing Casey. She sighed softly, rubbing her face, and groaning softly.
“Alex!”
Alex uncovered her face and her heart stopped for a second as she saw Casey running to her. “Hey.”
Casey smiled widely as she stood in front of Alex. “Hi. I’m so glad I caught you. I wanted to say hi since I saw you at the start of the game.”
Alex cleared her throat. “Oh. Uh. Well hi.” She smiled. “Congratulations, by the way. Good game.”
Casey chuckled as she looked at the ground for a moment. “Thanks.” She looked back at Alex. “I didn’t think Alex Cabot was a sports girl.”
Alex huffed a laugh. “I am not.” She shook her head. “But uh, my friend Erin, she dragged me here. I’m waiting for her so we can go.”
Casey nodded. “Oh, got it.” She smiled. “Hey, uh. So…later we’re throwing a small celebration party, since this was the last game of the season. I was wondering…if you wanted to come.”
Alex stared at Casey for a moment, thinking that maybe she had heard wrong. “Uh…a party?”
“Yes.” Casey smiled. “I mean I don’t normally go to these parties, but you know, we won, thought it could be fun for once. I don’t really have to work tomorrow so. And I was actually going to call you, you saved me a phone call.”
Alex smiled softly. “So…even if I didn’t come…you were going to invite me?”
Casey shrugged. “Why not?” She grinned.
Alex nodded. “I uh…well, I don’t normally go to any parties. I don’t…really get invited but uh-“
“We’re definitely going!” Erin said as she walked out of the restrooms, smiling at Alex and then at Casey. “That’s if I’m invited too? If not, I’ll drop of Alex.” She grinned.
“Of course! I mean, the team is inviting a lot of people so.” Casey chuckled. “So, yes?”
Alex looked back at Erin and then at Casey, smiling as she nodded. “Sure. Where?”
Casey’s smile widened. “Uh…Tina’s house. Back Bay area, there’s going to be a big sign outside the building, so you won’t miss it. I can call you later and tell you the right address.”
“Sounds good.” Alex smiled.
Casey nodded. “Alright, I’ll see you then. Bye Erin.” She smiled before she walked away.
Erin’s mouth opened in surprise as she turned to look at Alex. “Alexandra Cabot going to her very first university party! Oh my! We gotta find you a perfect dress!”
Alex rolled her eyes as she sighed, turning to look at Erin. “Don’t get too excited, Er. I think I saw a girl kissing Casey’s cheek.” She started to walk, trying to hide the excitement she felt.
Erin frowned. “Oh, c’mon, Alex.” She followed her. “That doesn’t mean anything! I kiss you on the cheek too, doesn’t mean we’re dating.”
“I know but…” Alex scoffed. “Why would Casey Novak be interested in someone like me? Like seriously. I’m older than her, I’m…literally a nerd.”
Erin raised her brow. “You do realize that it’s obvious that younger people are fascinated by people of our ages. Plus, it’s two years. And!” She jumped in front of Alex to stop her. “You’re not the only nerd. Casey is top of her class.” She grinned.
Alex frowned. “What?”
“Uhuh. Laura was telling me the other day. We go to the same hair salon, and she was talking about how Casey was the smartass in their class. So her asking you to help her study? Yeah, that was definitely just to spend time with you, Cabot.” Erin smirked.
Alex shook her head as she tried to hide her smile. “Okay…even if she wanted that. I still don’t think she’d be interested in me.” She shrugged. “So…this. The party? It’s just a party and that’s it.”
Erin rolled her eyes. “If you say so. But. We’re still gonna dress you nicely. Comfortable. But nicely. If Novak doesn’t lay eyes on you tonight, we’re getting you someone else. Maybe we can get another redhead.” She smirked.
“Fine.” Alex grinned as she rolled her eyes.
********************
“You’re not gonna leave me alone, are you?” Alex asked as they walked to the house, looking at Erin.
Erin looked back at Alex and smiled. “I believe you’ll leave me at some point. But no, and if you want to go, we can go. Promise I won’t drink much.” She chuckled.
Alex sighed as she nodded. They walked inside the house and Alex was pretty surprised to find a big crowd, the music was a bit loud and there was barely any lights. Erin took her hand so they wouldn’t get lost in the crowd, trying to get to the middle of the house or somewhere where they could actually move and hear each other. They finally got to what seemed to be the living room, people were dancing and drinking, some were playing with the cups, some were making out. So this is what a university party was like, Alex was really not missing anything, this was just a mess and they seemed horny teenagers. In every single part, there were about 2 or 3 couples just making out. She thought that she only saw this in movies but no, it was pretty much real, and she was sure more people were upstairs, and she did not want to figure out what they were doing up there.
As she looked around the room, she saw Casey’s team gathered around in a corner, laughing and with drinks in their hands, and then there was Casey right in the middle. She smiled softly but then her smile fainted again as she saw the girl from earlier right beside Casey, her arm wrapped around her shoulder. Alex knew she had no point in getting jealous, but she was. But then Casey’s eyes landed on her, and Alex swore her smile widened as she saw Alex; she didn’t know if she had imagined it or not, but Casey’s eyes traveled down her body, and she nibbled on her lip as she started walking to Alex; she was thankful that she had let Erin dress her, Alex normally liked wearing nice clothes, but the skirt and the blouse along with the long boots that Erin had picked for her, were showing a little too much, but if that was getting Casey’s attention, then she didn’t mind one bit.
Her breath hitched as Casey got closer to her, her eyes also traveling down Casey’s body; Erin had joked before about Alex being into girls that didn’t exactly dressed girly, she had now seen Casey wearing her softball uniform, she had seen her wearing a skirt with a blazer for a presentation, her work uniform, and casual Casey. Party Casey looked like those girls from movies who were the ones that ruled over people, with a leather jacket, jeans and boots, and Alex couldn’t skip the shirt she was wearing, that showed Casey’s cleavage.
“I thought I’d have to call you to make sure you were coming.” Casey grinned as she stood in front of Alex. “You look nice.” She whispered softly but enough for Alex to hear her.
Alex chuckled nervously as she blushed. “You look nice too.”
Erin cleared her throat as she smiled at both women. “I’ll see myself out for a bit.” She grinned as she walked away, going to Casey’s friends.
Casey chuckled. “Can I offer you a drink?”
“I uh…I actually don’t drink that much.” Alex bit her lip as she looked at Casey.
“Oh, such a good girl, Cabot.” She grinned. “They have nonalcoholic drinks too. We can go to the kitchen to check.” Before Alex could answer, she grabbed her hand and pulled her to the kitchen, walking through the crowd.
Alex tried to stay as calm as possible, and then thought that a drink wouldn’t hurt, it could actually help her calm her nerves. Once they got to the kitchen, she stood close to Casey and smiled. “Actually, a drink wouldn’t hurt.”
Casey turned to look at Alex and smiled. “I can mix some vodka with soda or juice so it’s not too strong.”
“Whatever you drinking.” Alex grinned.
Casey couldn’t help but stare into her eyes, grinning softly. “You look beautiful with or without glasses, you know?”
Alex’s breath hitched again as she stared into green eyes. “Your eyes are beautiful.” She smiled.
Casey bit her lip as she smiled. “Thanks.” She then cleared her throat as she grabbed the drinks she was going to mix and two cups.
Alex looked around trying not to stare too much at Casey, and noticed Erin staring at her, a smirk on her face. She shook her head, a quiet laugh leaving her lips. She returned her stare to Casey once she saw her raising the cup and handing it to her. “Thank you.”
“Of course.” Casey smiled as she grabbed her own drink and took a sip of it. “So, is this really your first party?” She leaned over the counter.
“You said it, I’m a good girl.” Alex smirked as she huffed a chuckle. “I uh…I focus a lot on school. I rather keep myself busy with studying or with books.” She shrugged. “I don’t know…I was just never an extrovert.”
Casey nodded. “I get that. I mean…these parties can get pretty crazy.” She chuckled. “I normally don’t come to these, and if I do, I literally leave early.”
Alex tilted her head. “I thought you were one of those athletic girls that liked to party and be a heartbreaker.” She grinned. “But I heard you’re also sort of a nerd.”
Casey blushed slightly as she looked at Alex. “I uh…I mean…yes, I just.” She huffed a chuckle. “Who told you?”
“Oh, a little bird.” Alex smirked. “So, you asking me for help…?” She raised her brow.
Casey shrugged. “Maybe I just…wanted to have an excuse to talk to you.” She grinned as she tilted her head, green eyes never leaving blue ones.
Alex knew she was probably blushing, but she couldn’t look away from Casey, she could stare at her for as long as she possibly could. “Nice excuse.” She simply said.
They stayed in the kitchen for a little longer than they expected, finding that it was the most quiet place in the whole house, and they just wanted to talk. They were talking about everything but nothing specific at the same time, just making each other smile and laugh. Even if Alex hated the fact that there were a lot of people surrounding them, she loved that she was with Casey, and that she was actually willing to stay with her. But then there was a moment where they literally dragged Casey away from Alex, and Casey made sure to tell her that she’d be back with her as soon as possible. Alex just watched her being dragged away and back into the living room, leaving her a bit sad but also understood that this was a party for them after all. Her eyes finally landed on Erin who was already walking to her, a smirk plastered on her face.
“I see you’re having a good conversation with Novak. Guess we won’t have to find you anyone else.” Erin smirked.
Alex rolled her eyes playfully. “We’re just talking, Er. Nothing more.”
“You’re seriously still in denial that she’s interested in you.” Erin chuckled. “You’re literally perfect, Alex. You’re top of your class, you’re beautiful, you’re nice. Damn, you’re a good girl, anyone would want to have you.”
Alex chuckled as she took a sip of her drink, trying to hide her smile behind her cup. “She did mention that.”
Erin raised her brow. “That you’re a good girl?” Alex nodded. “She does not lose time.” She chuckled softly.
“Well, I think I lost her for tonight. So, whatever was happening between us, is over.”
“Don’t lose hope, Cabot. She could come back any time soon. They’re just doing the typical winning ritual.”
Alex frowned as she looked back at Erin. “Ritual?”
“They take shots, depending on the score they made.”
Alex raised her brows. “Is that even safe?”
Erin shrugged. “Not sure, but don’t be too surprised if your little redhead comes back all drunk.” She chuckled as she took a sip of her drink.
Alex sighed. “I guess.”
“Everybody!” Tina got up on the table in the living room, getting everyone’s attention as they turned the music down. “Those who want to play the bottle, gather around! We got drinks and dares!”
Erin turned to look at Alex. “Let’s go play.”
Alex frowned. “No way. I don’t want to have the bad luck of having to kiss some drunk person.”
“And what if that drunk person turns out to be Casey?” Erin smirked as she grabbed Alex’s hand and pulled her to the living room. “Count us in!”
Alex sat beside Erin and sighed as she looked at the people that gathered around. She was sure that these people were either the ones that were way too drunk, or were somewhere in the middle, and the rest just decided to ignore it or were too into their own things. Her eyes landed on Casey for a moment who was in front of her and laughing with Tina as the people started to play. The first few rounds were stupid things like ‘take off your shirt’ ‘drink two shots’ ‘kiss this person on the cheek’, making Alex realize that these people were a bunch of teenagers and couldn’t believe that most of them -if not all- were law students. She couldn’t help but laugh the moment the bottle landed in Erin, and it so happened that the other side landed on one of Casey’s friends, who dared her to go to a room with her. Alex’s eyes widened as Erin agreed, telling her that they had to loosen up, and then followed the girl. She was too distracted as she saw in surprised how they disappeared, but her attention was brough back when she heard yelling and clapping, her eyes landing in the bottle who was pointing at her, and the other end happened to be on Casey.
“Cabot and Novak!” Alex’s lips parted as she tried to say something, but right away Tina spoke up again. “Since Alex doesn’t know what to say, I dare you two to seven minutes in heaven!” Everyone started cheering on.
“What?” Alex simply said, her eyes landing on Casey who was already standing up, chuckling, and telling Tina something. She shook her head and walked to Alex, extending her hand to help her get up.
“C’mon.” Casey offered a sweet smile.
Alex gulped but grabbed Casey’s hand, standing up and following her upstairs. She could hear everyone yelling and clapping, some of them screaming both Alex and Casey’s names as they went up the stairs. Before she knew it, she was being pulled into a room, and as she looked around, she was sure that this was Tina’s room. She cleared her throat as she turned to look at Casey who was closing and locking the door, leaning her back on it as she looked at Alex, smiling softly.
“Casey…”
“We don’t have to do anything.” Casey smiled.
“Are you- seriously?”
Casey chuckled. “Seriously. I sat down there for Tina, it’s just a stupid game.” She shook her head. “And…I hate having to force people into doing something they don’t want to.”
Alex cleared her throat. “What can you get done in seven min, anyway?” She chuckled.
Casey shrugged as she laughed. “I’ve never been in this situation. But I do know you can do something. Make out maybe.”
Alex stared at her for a moment, biting her lip softly. “And would you?”
Casey frowned. “Would I what?”
“Want to make out with me.” Alex snapped.
Casey wetted her lips, her lip lingering between her teeth as she stared at Alex. “I might be a little drunk but…definitely.” She walked to Alex slowly, stopping just in front of her. “Would you?” She whispered softly.
Alex’s breath hitched as she stared up at Casey. She knew she was tall, and probably the boots that Casey was wearing made her a little taller, and she herself was tall, but she loved the fact that she had to look up at Casey. She bit her lip for a moment as she thought about her answer; she knew she had to think fast, the seven minutes could end any time soon. She nodded softly as grinned, and suddenly Casey’s hands were on her waist, and she leaned down to close the gap between them. Alex’s hand went to Casey’s neck to pull her impossibly closer to her, their lips moving against each other’s just perfectly.
Before her mind could register what was happening, Casey was pulling her to her and turned her around to press Alex against the door, Alex moaning against Casey’s mouth which gave Casey’s tongue access to dive in. Alex’s hand got lost in Casey’s short her, pulling her impossibly closer. Casey’s hands rubbed Alex’s sides, accidentally making Alex’s blouse rise up and she took the chance to make contact with Alex’s skin. They finally broke from the kiss, both panted heavily, but as Alex opened her eyes to look at Casey, Casey’s lips landed on her jawline, throwing her head back against the door as a quiet moan left her lips. Casey trailed kisses down Alex’s jawline to her neck, kissing and nibbling softly, she then looked up again to kiss Alex again, and just as her hand traveled down Alex’s hip, a loud knock on the door made them part away from each other.
“Seven minutes are over guys! Get your clothes on!”
Alex panted heavily as she looked at the door for a moment and then her eyes returned to Casey. She couldn’t help but chuckle at herself as she figured she was now part of those horny teenagers she was judging when she got to the party. Casey ran her hand through her hair as she grinned, looking down at the floor as she tried to hide the redness on her cheeks.
“We should uh-“ Alex cleared her throat as she fixed her blouse. “We should probably…”
Casey nodded. “Yes.” She chuckled as she looked up at Alex. “We should go back.”
Alex nodded, offering a shy smile. As she turned to open the door, she felt Casey’s hand on her wrist, bringing her attention back to Casey. Casey’s hand went to Alex’s neck and pulled her close to her, kissing her lips slowly and tenderly, as if they had all the time in the world. Their lips once again met in a perfect rhythm, making Alex’s stomach turn in a good way. Casey then smiled against her lips, pecking them once more before she pulled away.
“Now we can leave.” Casey grinned.
Alex nodded. “Sure.” She breathed out as she smiled, accepting Casey’s hand in hers.
Alex felt everyone’s eyes on her as they walked down the stairs, but her eyes were only focused on Casey. Casey never let go of her hand, walking back to the kitchen, both quietly deciding that they didn’t want to be involved in the game anymore. Alex tried to find Erin for a moment before she brought her attention back to Casey, smiling softly.
“I’ll get you something to drink.” Casey smiled.
“Can I just get some water, please?” Alex smiled.
Casey nodded. “Sure. I need to sober up a little.” She chuckled as she kissed Alex’s hand before she went to find more cups.
Alex sighed happily as she watched Casey moving around the kitchen. The smile never leaving her smile as she leaned against the countertop, but her moment was interrupted as she felt a hand on her shoulder, making her turn thinking that it was maybe Erin. And then she frowned as she found the girl she had been previously jealous of right in front of her.
“Hi?” Alex offered a small smile.
“You really think you got Casey just because you got seven minutes in a room with her? You’re not Casey’s type. We know who you are, Cabot.”
Alex frowned as she shook her head. “What is that supposed to mean?”
“You’re daddy’s girl. I’m sure you’re in school just because of your last name, and if you think you’re gonna get Casey, you’re very wrong. I might’ve let Casey have her fun tonight, but she’s normally always with me. Casey belongs to me.”
“I can definitely tell. Because she’s been with you the whole party, huh?” Alex raised her brow, giving her a defying stare as she crossed her arms.
The girl laughed as she shook her head. “Just because your friend dressed you up for tonight and you got read of your glasses, doesn’t mean you can take Casey. Didn’t you hear? She was supposed to get your attention, a bet was made.”
Alex frowned. “What?”
“Oh, you really think Casey was interested in you? Please. Look at you and look at her. Gotta say that you left it pretty easy for her to win the bet. So congrats to you too. Maybe if Casey chooses, she’ll give you half of the money, but you don’t need it, do you?” The girl smirked as she walked away.
Alex suddenly felt lightheaded as the words played in her mind over and over; she had to be lying. Casey wouldn’t do that. All this time, all those meetings they had, Casey inviting her here, being so sweet and kind even if she’s not fully sober. Did she really do this for a bet? Was she just being nice to win some money? She had to be joking, this was definitely a lie. But…it also made sense at the same time. The sudden interest in Alex, wanting her help to study even if she didn’t need it, her inviting her to the party, and coincidentally the bottle landing in them while she was distracted. They had planned this. She had fallen in Casey’s game. The thought made her feel sick to her stomach.
“Alex?” Casey placed her hand on Alex’s shoulder to get her attention. “You okay?”
Alex took a deep breath as she looked back at Casey, her eyes getting teary. “How much?”
Casey frowned. “What?”
“How much…was the bet?” Alex snapped, trying to hold back her tears as she stared at Casey.
Casey shook her head as she looked at Alex, confused. “I don’t…what bet?”
Alex scoffed. “I knew it was too good to be truth.” She grinned. “You, suddenly taking interest in someone like me. You also believe I’m nothing more than my name, right? Was it fun, Casey? To drag me into your stupid high school game so you could get some money?”
Casey placed the cups on the counter and looked back at Alex. “Alex, what are you talking about? I don’t think that. I-“
“Save it, Casey. I knew this was way too good to be truth. But don’t worry, the bet ended the moment you took me to the room, right? So whatever this was, ends here. I don’t wanna see you again.” Alex gave her a cold look before she walked away from Casey.
Casey frowned as she tried to follow Alex. “Alex! Wait!”
Just as Alex was walking to the door, she ran into Erin who was just coming down from the stairs, her laugh died the moment she saw the look on Alex’s face. “Alex?”
“Let’s go. P-Please.” Alex cried out.
Erin’s heart sank as she turned and saw Casey trying to get to them. “Let’s go.” She placed her hand on Alex’s back and they both walked out of the house as fast as they could. Leaving behind a confused Casey.
The whole ride back to Alex’s apartment was quiet, Alex staring at the window as she quietly cried, her arms wrapped around herself. Erin kept checking on her but decided to save her words, she knew Alex needed a moment to process whatever had happened back there. There had only been one time that she had seen Alex this way, and she thought she would never see her like this again, so it broke her heart. As they made their way to Alex’s apartment, Alex let out a heavy sigh and opened the door, letting Erin walk in first, followed by Alex. She closed the door behind her and leaned her head against it, her whole body shaking as she cried once again. Erin dropped her bag and walked to Alex, wrapping her in a tight hug as Alex sobbed, turning to vanish in her arms.
“Lex, what happened?” Erin whispered softly.
“I-“ Alex sobbed as she shook her head. “I was an idiot.”
Erin pulled away enough to look at Alex. “Did Casey did something to you?”
Alex looked at Erin at the mention of Casey, feeling her heart breaking even more. “I was a bet.”
Erin frowned. “What?”
“That bitch…the one I saw Casey with…she told me that there was a bet, and that’s why the sudden interest in me. I knew it was too good to be truth, Erin. I just knew it.” Alex cried out, covering her face.
Erin sighed loudly. “Lex, I’m so sorry.”
“It’s not your fault. I let myself fall.” Alex sobbed as she shook her head. “Why did this happen?” She whispered softly.
“I don’t know.” Erin kissed her head softly as she wrapped her in another hug.
********************
Alex walked through the hallway to get to her classroom, feeling like everyone was staring at her and were laughing at her. She was sure that half of the school already knew what had happened back there, and it now made sense why all of them were cheering for them to go upstairs. They were cheering for Casey to win the fucking bet and she was so proud of it. She played it so well that she was so ashamed of herself for not seeing it, focusing on how sweet, kind, and beautiful she was, it never crossed her mind that she could do this to Alex. After all, her assumption of Casey wasn’t entirely wrong. She was indeed a heartbreaker. Her trance was interrupted as she ran into someone, almost losing her balance and making her books fall to the floor.
“I’m sorry!”
Alex knelt to pick them up but the person in front of her got them before her, making her look up to find Casey in front of her. “It’s fine.” She snapped as she stood up, followed by Casey.
Casey handed her the books and nibbled on her lip for a moment. “Alex…”
“Save it.” Alex snapped as she looked at Casey for a moment before she walked away.
Casey sighed loudly as she kept walking. This was truly a nightmare for her. The fact that Alex really had believed everything that Rachel had dared to say hurt her and made her a bit upset, but she understood where Alex was coming from. The moment she laid eyes on Alex, she knew she was completely fucked, not being able to take her eyes away until she realized she was being a creep. For months she just stared at Alex and tried her best to always be the one taking their order. She cursed herself once she realized that she had gotten Alex’s order wrong the first time, so she learned it for her, and was happy whenever Alex showed up at the coffee shop. Taking a chance to talk to her had been a real challenge, thinking that Alex would completely push her away and ignore her, but was happy once she realized Alex might be interested in her too. But now, that was all gone.
Erin walked into the coffee shop and looked around, trying to find Casey who was behind the counter. She walked to her and leaned over the counter. “Can I talk to you?”
Casey looked up from her notebook and nodded. “I’m taking five!” She walked to the back door and walked to Erin, sitting with her at a table in the corner. “Erin-“
“What the fuck were you thinking? Are you seriously in middle school to make a fucking bet with my best friend?” Erin snapped, not giving Casey a chance to speak.
“Let me explain.” Casey sighed. “There was no bet. There never was.”
Erin frowned. “What?”
Casey bit her lip as she tried to hold back tears. “I never had the intention of hurting Alex. Everything I did, I did it because I wanted to. Because I had been looking at Alex for so long and I took my chance.” She shook her head as she looked at Erin. “I was never involved in any bet. Rachel was jealous when she found out I was into Alex. She’s-“ She scoffed. “She was fucking childish. I’m too old to do those fucking bets. I like Alex. I never meant to hurt her, or even take advantage of her.”
Erin sighed as she leaned back in the chair. “Well, shit.” She shook her head. “I knew Rachel was no good.”
Casey scoffed. “She thinks she can get whatever she wants.” She shook her head as she looked down at her hands. “And now Alex hates me.”
“She’s hurt, Casey.” Erin shrugged. “She really believed every word Rachel told her. Alex…she overthinks. She has anxiety. She couldn’t get in her head why you would be interested in her.”
Casey sighed. “But you believe me, right?” She looked back at Erin.
Erin offered a small smile. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone being so consistent with Alex. The way you two look at each other…nothing I had ever seen.” She shrugged. “I love Alex. But I believe you. And you gotta make this right, Casey.”
Casey nodded. “I know. But…she hasn’t been here in two weeks.”
“I can give you her address.” Erin shrugged. “She’ll probably kill me but…I hate seeing Alex so sad.”
Casey smiled. “I’d be forever thankful.”
Erin grinned. “And I thought this shit only happened in movies.” She got a piece of paper out of her bag along with a pen. “Our classes end at 4 pm. She should be home by 5 pm.” She handed it to Casey. “And you know better than to fuck this up, Casey.”
Casey nodded. “I know.”
********************
Alex groaned as she walked to the door. “Erin, I told you I wanted stay in today. I’m tired of you coming at this hour and trying-“ her voice died down as she opened the door and saw that it was not Erin.
“I’m…sorry. I just ended my shift, and I…couldn’t come earlier.” Casey offered a shy smile.
Alex shook her head. “What are you doing here?”
Casey sighed. “You’ve been avoiding me. And I want to talk to you.”
Alex scoffed. “Casey…seriously. We’re old enough to do this and-“
“And then you know I’m old enough to be doing some stupid things as getting involved in a high school bet.” Casey snapped.
Alex stared at her for a moment and sighed softly, stepping aside as she let Casey walk in. “Come on in.” She whispered softly.
“Thanks.” Casey said softly as she walked into the apartment. She turned to look at Alex and smiled a bit as she noticed she had never seen Alex dressing so comfortably.
Alex closed the door and turned to look at Casey, frowning. “What?”
Casey looked down at her hands as she smiled. “You uh…you look really cute.”
Alex tried to hide her smile as she crossed her arms. “Can I offer you a drink?”
“Are we switching roles now?” Casey grinned.
Alex couldn’t help but grin slightly. “Case…”
“I never meant to hurt you, Alex.” Casey said almost in a whisper. “There was never a bet.”
Alex sighed as she looked down at the floor. “Why should I believe you?” She then looked back up at Casey.
“Because I don’t lie.” Casey shook her head. “I know better than to lie. And I never once lied to you. I…” she scoffed. “Everything that Rachel said, it was all a lie. She was jealous. She hated the fact that I was falling for you, and that I was trying to get your attention, and I-“
“You’re falling for me?” Alex frowned.
Casey stared at Alex with wide eyes. “I- Alex. I uh-“ she cleared her throat. “I just-“
“Who’s nervous now?” Alex grinned.
Casey huffed a laugh. She looked at her hands for a moment and nibbled on her lip. “I really didn’t want to hurt you. I didn’t take you to the room because they were going to pay me.” She smiled shyly as she looked back at Alex. “Tina noticed you were distracted, everyone was drunk. I moved the bottle.”
Alex raised her brows, a smirk appeared on her face. “Makes sense.”
Casey laughed softly. “I was scared that you’d reject me. I didn’t want to take advantage of you. I just…really wanted to kiss you.” She smiled.
Alex tilted her head. “So no bet?”
Casey shook her head. “No bet. And yes…I am falling for you, since the first time I saw you, I knew I wanted to do anything in my power to get your attention.”
Alex smiled sadly, looking down again at the floor. “I really believed her.”
Casey walked slowly to Alex, her fingers going under her chin to make Alex look up at her, smiling softly as she fixed Alex’s glasses. “You look beautiful without glasses but…I really like to see you with them.”
Alex blushed slightly as she smiled. “You should be upset that I snapped at you, and that I didn’t believe you.”
“That’s childish. We’re both old enough for those games.” Casey grinned. “I’m sorry, Alex. I really am. But if you give me the chance…I want to make things right. I want to take you on a date.”
“You’re cheesy.” Alex smirked.
“And you like that, don’t you? It’s the type of thing you only see in movies.” Casey chuckled softly as she placed her hands on Alex’s neck.
“Yes. I want you to go on a date with you.” Alex smiled, placing her hands on Casey’s waist, and leaning in to kiss her lips softly.
Casey smiled for a moment against her lips, but brought their lips back together, the same butterflies as the first time showing up in her stomach.
“Cabot being the good girl and Novak being the tomboy.” Munch laughed along with Fin.
Alex rolled her eyes. “We stuck with our roles.” She smirked as she looked at Casey.
Casey shrugged. “And we made it work perfectly, even now after all these years.” She smiled as she leaned in and kissed Alex’s cheek, fixing her glasses. “Only took a date to have her wrapped around my finger.”
“Oh, says the one that was the cheesiest of the both of us. Bringing me chocolate croissants with my coffee, flowers almost every week, prepared unexpected dates.” Alex smirked.
“And you loved those. And still do.” Casey leaned in to peck her lips.
“Just get married already.” Elliot teased as he took a sip of his drink.
“This is really out of a movie, you two are too cliché.” Olivia chuckled as she looked at them.
“We wouldn’t want it any other way.” Alex grinned as she chuckled, rolling her eyes at the teasing.

Your head hung low, over your shoulders and over the woman’s knees. It was after hours and you were bent over Olivia’s lap in her office. With another sharp crack to your barren ass, you jolted up slightly and let out a desperate mewl.
“Six—teen Daddy!!” You cried out.
You expect to feel another sharp smack to your ass, but instead you felt the woman’s hand gently rubbing your pink flesh.
“That’s it, such a good girl for Daddy.” Olivia cooed.
Pretty soon, her fingers trailed in between your legs and past your panties. She found your slick core, drenched in arousal, so wet it made you dizzy.
“Ooh Baby you’re soaked…” Liv purred, “Did Daddy make you this way…?”
You nodded vigorously, as one of her digits swiped through your folds.
“Yes yes all for Daddy, so wet for Daddy…!” You mewled.
After bringing her arousal coated digit up to her mouth and licking your juices clean off, the brunette gently caressed and squeezed your supple skin. Your body was left burning for more.
“Have you learned your lesson, sweetie…?” Liv condescendingly cooed.
You nodded vigorously.
“Yes Daddy yes yes please…!” You pled, “I’m sorry mm sorry—!”
“Sorry for what, baby…?”
“Mmm sorry for dressing up…! Sorry for distracting you!”
“You mean, you’re sorry for dressing like a slut, right…?? Daddy’s girl can’t just show up to work dressed to whore herself out… no matter whether Daddy will see her or not…” Liv spat.
You bit your lip and tensed up, as her digits dug into your left ass check possessively as she spoke. You let out a desperate mewl and nodded swiftly.
“Yes Daddy, I’m sorry please…!! I’m sorry I’m such a slut, can’t help it Daddy!” You babbled.
Your ass was smacked with a swift Crack!! again. This one went all to your core, as you felt your juices start to leak down your thighs.
“Oooooh Seventeen D-daddy!!” You cowled.
“Beg Daddy to give you mercy.” Liv demanded.
“P-please please Daddy— I… I need you Daddy!! I need your cock or your fingers or your mouth or anything Daddy please… I’ll be good I promise, Mmm so sorry Daddy pleaseee…!!” You begged.
In one fluid motion, two of Olivia’s fingers snaked back in between your legs and slid inside your gushing cunt. They pumped and curled inside you, making your toes curl and your mouth foam. You wanted to scream in pleasure, but you bit your tongue.
“Such a good girl for Daddy…” Liv cooed lustfully.

Rafael wasted no time getting intimate with you. It was literally out the car, out the clothes, and in the bed.
A year back, you and Rafael got together, but you wanted to take things slow, and he agreed.
But now, you felt ready.
It was another long day at the precinct, for you at least. It had gotten to the point where Liv even told you to go home. You liked to get ahead of things because you knew you would dread drowning in paperwork after the fact.
This particular night, however, was a different story for Rafael. He wanted to surprise you. It was you and his’s 1 year anniversary and he wanted to make the day special as can be.
You didn’t forget about your anniversary, you had gotten him a gift, you just didn’t have the time to go drop it off at his office.
So there you were sitting at your desk filling out paperwork when a very familiar figure appeared in your sight. You quickly found out that it was Rafael.
“Rafa.” You smiled, getting up from your desk.
“Hi baby.” Rafael smiled back, pulling you into a hug. “Happy anniversary.”
“Happy anniversary.”
Rafael planted kisses on your lips. You then went back to your desk, and Rafael followed suit, pulling up a chair to sit next to you.
“Paperwork again?”
You nodded. “You know how I am Rafa.”
“I’m staying here until you finish. I wanna take you home tonight.” Rafael said, reaching over to stroke your thigh.
You smirked, knowing what he meant.
“Duly noted, Counselor.”
✯✯✯✯
Rafael finally got you home. Beforehand, you gave him your gift, which was a watch he’d been eyeing for months. He was ecstatic when he opened the box. After, he pulled out his gift, which was a matching gold necklace and bracelet set. He took the liberty of putting them on you.
Out the car.
Out the clothes.
In the bed.
“I know we talked about it, but are you sure about this? About everything?”
“Yes, Rafa.” You responded, helping him out of his suit. The only suit you wanted him in was his birthday suit.
“Okay.” He smiled.
With that, the two of you wasted no more time getting in the bed and each other naked. Clearly the second step was ignored.
Rafael loved your body and he wanted to admire it all night long. When he touched your naked body for the first time ever, you felt chills running throughout your body and you didn’t want him to stop. His hands felt so nice against your skin. In this moment, his hands were creeping up to your boobs and something special resided in that region.
Your infamous side boob tattoo.
To be quite honest, it was a simple flower, but it was your favorite tattoo.
Rafael’s hand reached it and the chills stopped for a moment.
“Is that a tattoo?”
“Yes.”
The room light was on, so Rafael was able to take a peek under the covers to look at it.
“It’s beautiful.” He whispered, starting to suck on your nipples. He kissed all around the area, as well as the tattoo, and that made you so much more aroused.
He was good with his mouth. So when he finished with your boobs and went to your pussy without a warning, you knew you were going to fold instantly. He made you feel good, and that’s all that mattered in this moment. His lips touched your clit and he sucked on it softly to get you started. He started using his tongue in all the right places, and pushed a finger inside. His intentions were to get you to come for him.
Hard.
“Rafa” escaped your lips numerous times while he was doing this.
“I love when you say my name like that, Y/N. It’s so hot.” Rafael mumbled against your thighs. He got up and leveled with you, and pushed his fingers inside you again, all while he planted kisses on your lips and chest.
The next thing you knew, he was inside you, and it felt amazing. He felt amazing.
It was a good thing the two of you waited.

William Jacobs ran across the Brooklyn Bridge at the same time every morning, trying to beat his best time. But today he desperately thought about turning back and skipping today's sports session - the weather was playing into his cards.
Despite all the negative voices in his head, the young man ran from the Brooklyn bridge to the Manhattan Central Park and back. At this early hour there were hardly any passers-by and only occasionally a few cars drove past. As he took his first step off the bridge, he was inspired by the release of happiness hormones and increased his pace.
William loved being able to look out over the East River and let his thoughts and feelings flow freely. His black hair flowed in the wind and was dampened by the drizzle, her ragged breathing evident in the chill of dawn. When he managed halfway of his way, he was panting like never before in his life - the cold air making it harder to force enough air through his lungs. The young man felt the slight sting in his side, but did not hesitate to stop.
It was not until his head moved towards the entrance of the Central Park that he saw something blue and shimmery lying on the ground. Confused, he stopped and cautiously approached the object, peering left and right to locate other people.
Startled, he jumped back and almost stepped into the street when he saw red-brown stains around it, some of them even splattered on the cell phone he had found. William did not even hear the car behind him screeching to a stop next to him and the car door being opened with an aggressive jerk. "Are you crazy? I almost ran you over!"
But the young man did not answer the older women. She looked at the black-haired guy and saw fear and disgust on his face. His shaky fingers pointed to the main reason he stopped, which was why the woman looked confused on the ground and shortly after promptly walked back to her car in shock. "We have to alert the police." he shouted in a shrill, abnormally bright voice. The stranger nodded her head and pulled her cell phone out of the glove compartment of her red car. She quickly tapped on her phone and held it trembling against her ear.
"Emergency call center, how can I help you?" A calm voice asked on the other end of the line, beginning to type on her keyboard to find out the location of the caller. "We found a phone." she spoke anxiously, earning a sigh from the 911 agent. "Mam, you know this is not an emergency, right?"
William looked confused at the device in the old lady's hand, and in his adrenaline rush he did not quite understand why the sigh was being given. So he quickly snatched the cell phone from her and continued the conversation. "Listen. Here is a cell phone lying at the entrance to Central Park, covered in blood splatters. I also recognize an original NYPD cell phone case."
“Which entrance are you at?” the woman's low voice slowly calmed his rapidly beating heart. He took a deep breath while trying not to let his mind sink into a hole of horror scenarios. He looked around, trying to figure out which entrance he really was at. "Fifth Avenue at the Plaza Hotel,"
"Do not touch anything. I will send you a unit."

The gentle rain pattered quietly against Olivia's bedroom windows and made her open her eyes just a crack wide. Her tired gaze glowered out and a hand brushed over her face as she watched the night slowly fade away. Her attention turned to the other side of the bed, her fingers curling into the cold sheets next to her.
Her fiancée was no longer lying next to her and she sighed heavily. She usually woke up before you almost every morning, kissing along your naked spine stroking her hand with pleasure over your sides before she remained on your bare hip, waking you up for another day. Olivia loved waking up next to you since she shared a bed with you and enjoyed every minute of it. But she respected your exercise routine in the early hours of the morning and was in no way offended if she started the day without you.
The brunette tried to close her eyes for another five minutes, but quickly abandoned the idea when her cell phone rang. A little angry, she felt around on the bedside table for the annoying-sounding device and answered the call. "Lieutenant Benson?" she sighed loudly, already pulling the blanket off her body.
The brunette, half asleep, rummaged through her closet for some clothes and ran into the bathroom to get ready. "Central Park, I will be right there." When she ended the conversation, she tried to reach you on your cell phone to take you home, but her attempt came to nothing and she did not think about it any further - you had already put your phone on silent often enough to avoid being distracted.
After quickly downing a cup of coffee to wake herself up, she pulled her coat off the hook and slipped through the door into the day's events. The rain worsened on the way to the crime scene, washing every possible mess back into the sewers. When she got out, Amanda and Fin were already standing at the cordoned off area that had been created to protect the evidence from the rain. "What do we have?"
"A blood-spattered cell phone," the blonde expressed, gratefully accepting an evidence bag from another officer. She carefully placed the found object in it and handed it to her boss. "A cell phone? Why were we called?" the Sergent and the detective shrugged and raised their hands in question. "The caller thought it was a cell phone belonging to one of our colleagues, which is why we were notified because a significant amount of blood was found next to it."
Olivia nodded, looking worriedly at the phone in her hand. You had the same case around your phone, she had given it to you as a small gift. She turned it around so the screen was facing her and her heart skipped a beat when she saw the scratch on it. The brunette had almost caused the same one on your phone when she saved you from a bullet a couple months ago.
She always wanted to have it repaired but you would not let her - it was a memory for you. "Liv, are you okay?" Finn asked worriedly, watching as the color suddenly drained from his best friend's face. She nodded in response, looking back from the evidence to the paving stone. A good amount of blood that was not easy to ignore. "Yeah, it is just.."
The tough woman could not finish the sentence right away. The screen turned on on its own, showing a reminder notification on the display. Underneath you could clearly see two smiling faces smeared with light gray paint as a background image.
She recognized the image immediately. Olivia shot it herself when you were recoloring your bedroom together. Olivia swallowed hard, the phone shaking in her hands as she tried to suppress her rising panic. “It is y/n’s. It is her phone."

The scent of burnt coffee and regret hung heavy in the air of Olivia's apartment. Two years. Two whole years had passed since the fight, a stupid, petty argument that escalated into a chasm Olivia never thought you'd willingly jump into. You called her a workaholic, her nights spent hunched over case files a constant reminder of how little time she had for anything else. You, with your fiery spirit and infectious laugh, deserved more than that. Olivia, in a fit of exhaustion and frustration, had thrown it back, words laced with the bitterness of a job that chipped away at her soul piece by piece. "Then maybe you should find someone who has time for you!"
You slammed the door on your way out, the echo of it reverberating in Olivia's ears long after you were gone. She called, texted, left desperate messages on your voicemail, hoping, praying you wouldn't disappear like smoke. But disappear you did. No forwarding address, no trace on social media, your phone number disconnected. You vanished like a ghost, leaving behind a gaping hole in Olivia's life.
The days blurred into weeks, weeks into months. Olivia threw herself into work, the familiar sting of righteous anger and the hunt for justice a poor substitute for the warmth of your hand in hers. She saw traces of you everywhere – in the coffee shop where you always ordered your extra-sweet cappuccino, in the park where you used to steal glances at the stray dogs, in the bookstore where you'd lose yourself in detective novels. Each time, a jolt of hope would momentarily flicker, only to be extinguished by the crushing reality of your absence.
Then came the call. It was a cold, rainy November night, the city slick with the first kiss of winter. Elliot's voice crackled through the line, a raw urgency in his tone. "Liv, you gotta get down here. Warehouse raid. Russian mob. We found girls."
Olivia's throat went dry. Human trafficking. It was an all too familiar story, a stain on the city's soul. But the case didn't register fully, not yet. All she could think about was girls, young lives stolen, innocence shattered.
The warehouse was a desolate, concrete tomb. The air hung heavy with the metallic tang of blood and the despairing whimpers that echoed from behind the heavy metal doors. Olivia and the team kicked them down, a cacophony of shouts and flashing lights filling the cavernous space.
The girls were everywhere. Huddled in corners, eyes wide with terror, their bodies frail shadows under layers of grime. As Olivia moved through the room, a primal instinct kicked in, a fierce protectiveness that burned through the years of jaded detachment. She knelt before a young girl, barely a teenager, tears tracing dirty streaks down her pale cheeks. The girl flinched instinctively, eyes downcast.
"It's okay, sweetheart," Olivia murmured, her voice soft and soothing. "We're here to help you now."
A gruff voice interrupted. "Liv, you need to see this."
Elliot stood by a makeshift bed in a back room, his face grim. Olivia followed his gaze. There, on the threadbare mattress, lay a figure draped in a tattered blanket. It was you.
The blood drained from Olivia's face. Your face, pale and gaunt, was framed by matted hair. Your once vibrant eyes were closed, your breathing shallow. A choked sob escaped her lips. How? Why?
Elliot noticed her reaction, his eyes instantly filled with understanding. "We need to get her to the hospital," he said, his voice gruff but kind.
The sterile white of the hospital room felt like a slap. Olivia sat by your bedside, a vigil kept through the long night. Machines beeped rhythmically, a constant reminder of your fragility. Hours turned into days, and finally, your eyelids fluttered open.
Confusion clouded your gaze for a moment before recognition dawned. Your eyes widened, a flicker of fear giving way to disbelief. "Olivia?"
Her voice was a hoarse whisper, but to Olivia, it was a symphony. "Yeah, it's me. You're safe now."
Tears welled up in your eyes, spilling down your cheeks. You tried to speak, but your voice was weak. Olivia leaned closer, catching your words.
"You left," you rasped, your voice tinged with accusation.
Olivia flinched. "I..." she started, the words catching in her throat. Shame and regret were a bitter cocktail in her mouth.
"Don't," you cut her off, a flicker of your old fire returning. "Just... tell me what happened."
It poured out of her then, a torrent of words – the fight, the desperation, the months spent searching for you. You listened in silence, With a tear slipping down her cheek, Olivia reached out and grasped your hand, her touch sending a jolt through you. The years of separation melted away, replaced by a raw vulnerability that left you breathless.
"I was so stupid, Y/N," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. "Work consumed me, and I took you for granted. I never thought you'd leave."
You squeezed her hand back, a silent understanding passing between you. The hurt of the fight was still there, a dull ache in your chest, but seeing Olivia like this, broken and filled with remorse, softened the blow.
"I said some pretty awful things too," you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper. "I shouldn't have stormed out like that."
Olivia's eyes met yours, a flicker of hope igniting within them. "Can you ever forgive me?"
The question hung in the air, heavy with unspoken longing. You looked at the woman you once loved, the woman you realized you never truly stopped loving. The past two years had been a nightmare, a desolate wasteland devoid of her warmth.
Taking a deep breath, you reached out and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. The gesture was small, intimate, a silent promise.
"I already have," you murmured, your voice thick with emotion.
A choked sob escaped Olivia's lips as she leaned forward, burying her face in the crook of your neck. Tears streamed down her face, hot against your skin. You held her close, whispering words of comfort, the silence of the hospital room broken only by the soft beeps of the machines and the rhythm of your intertwined breaths.
As the days turned into weeks, you recovered slowly, your body healing alongside the fractured pieces of your relationship with Olivia. The nights were filled with whispered confessions, apologies, and the tentative rebuilding of trust. You spoke about your ordeal, the horrors you witnessed at the hands of your captors, the despair that threatened to consume you.
Olivia listened patiently, her arms wrapped around you, a silent shield against the encroaching darkness. She held you close as you cried, her presence a source of strength and solace.
When you were finally released from the hospital, Olivia took you back to her apartment. It felt different, the emptiness replaced by a sense of cautious optimism. There were nights you'd lie awake, the echo of the past lingering in the air, but Olivia was always there, a comforting presence by your side.
One evening, as you sipped tea on the fire escape, the city lights twinkling below, Olivia turned to you, her eyes filled with a newfound determination.
"We'll get through this, together," she said, her voice firm. "You and me."
You met her gaze, a smile gracing your lips. "Together," you echoed, the simple word holding the promise of a future rebuilt, stronger and more cherished than ever before. The fight that tore you apart had left its scars, but it had also shown you the strength of your bond, a love that even the darkest of nights couldn't extinguish.

long cases
Ship: Olivia Benson x Fem!Reader
Warnings: Angst, Hurt/Comfort, SA mention and description briefly, cuddling, pet names.
About: A case gone wrong leaves y/n upset and to make matters worse, y/n can relate to the case so she blames her self but her girlfriend, liv, provides a shoulder to cry on and consoles y/n.
"cmon baby, stop being so shy. it's just me. just mommy, sweetie. lemme see your pretty face, hm?" liv cooed, in attempts to get her little lovie out of burying her face into liv's shoulder. y/n slowly begins to pull away, her teary-eyes met liv's. "Oh honey.." liv sighed sadly. she knew that this last case had taken a toll on y/n. it went so wrong and liv can tell y/n is blaming herself. "livie" y/n's voice broke. the fragile girl began to sob, covering her face with her fingers to spare liv the effort of attempting to console her. there was nothing liv could say to change the outcome of the case but what liv could do, was talk to y/n about it. liv knows that y/n was abused sexually in the past so this is why she relates to this case so deeply.
A few minutes passed, liv was giving y/n the space to cry and let it all out before talking to her. Y/n stood limp in liv's arms, tears stopped flowing. Y/n began to trace circles on liv's back. Liv took this as a sign that y/n was in a slightly better state. "Honey?" Liv gambled. Y/n hummed in reponsed. "Are you ready to talk about it, my love?" Liv asked, not removing the girl from her lap just in case. Y/n and Liv had this agreement that they'd always talk about it. If someone was bugging the other, they would not let it cause an argument or fight. To talk about it and dispute the problem before it gets worse.
Y/n scooted over, leaving some space between the two, but not much. Y/n clutched onto liv's hand, not that liv minded. She knew it helped y/n to talk, grounded her. Knowing that liv was real and she would be okay eventually. "I think the reason this case is getting to me so much is because this has happened to me. Not this exact situation but I was SA-ed. A-and I've told you about it briefly but..." Y/n's voice broke, drawing intense circles on liv's hand. With her other hand, liv reached out to rub y/n's back. Giving her a hint to breathe. Y/n takes a deep breath in response, getting the hint. Liv fixated on y/n's story, nodding at her to continue when she's ready.
"P-part of me wished someone had came to save me, but no one ever did. It got worse but you know what? I grew up, and got the hell out of there." Y/n exhaled, feeling a huge weigh lifted off her chest. "That's right my love. What you experienced, is horrible, I have no words. But you're right, you got the hell out of there and I'm so proud of you for that. Shows how strong you are, look how far you came. You help people everyday, you are amazing, my gorgeous, generous, girlfriend." her voice softened with affection.
Y/n let out a soft giggle in response. Liv, obviously confused, gives y/n a puzzled look in response. Furrowing her eyebrows. "That all started with g's, I just thought it was funny." Y/n squeaked in a happier sounding voice. "Oh? Hm? Funny am I?" Liv pushed, climbing onto y/n, trapping them beneath her. Y/n raised an eyebrow towards Liv. Liv attacked y/n with tickles. "l-livie!" She squealed. "How funny am I now? Hm, sweetheart?" Liv teased. Y/n squirmed beneath her, out of breath "l-liv i can't breath!!" Y/n giggled. "Oh, can't you now baby? " Liv inched closer towards Y/n, pressing her lips against y/n's.
Liv fell beside y/n, her hand caressed y/n's face. Their eyes met, and y/n leaned into liv's touch. "I love you so much, babe." y/n whispered quietly. "you are so perfect, angel." Liv whispered in response. They gazed at each other with nothing other than love. They laid in silence, clutching onto one another, falling asleep tangled up in quiet.

Hello! I have a request for Olivia. Maybe a situation where reader and Olivia were held hostage. Reader hasn’t been doing good since, with having to witness Olivia being tortured. All week reader would try to remain professional and nonchalant. Olivia knew when reader was masking her emotions, end of week she goes reader’s place. Reader opens the door already in a bad way as she’s been all week after work. She opens up and tells Olivia all that’s in her mind and heart, including how she has feelings for her boss. She starts to have a panic attack at her own confession.

Confession
Olivia benson x fem!reader
Warnings: mentions of kidnapping and torture, mentions of rape, hurt/comfort, cussing
~ flashback ~
You were lying on a gross marble floor with no lights around you. You tried to move around but you were restrained by something. All of a sudden, a bright light flickered on and you looked up to see Olivia on the ground tied up like you. O-olivia?!” You called out to her and she didn’t respond. You kept calling her name until you heard a groan and Olivia trying to move around. “Olivia! Are you okay?” You asked her and she forcefully turned around and saw you on the ground tied up. “I’m fine. But are you okay?” She asked you and you looked at her as tears sprung to your eyes. “No…Olivia I’m s-scared…” you whimpered out and you saw Olivia’s eyes soften as she saw how petrified you looked right now.
“Don’t worry sweetheart. I’ll get us out of this.” She reassured you but that was soon gone when someone came into the room the both of y’all were in. “Don’t make that a promise princess.” The man laughed out as he bent down to Olivia’s face. She glared at him and he didn’t like that. He socked her in the face and you screamed out “no! Please!” He kept hitting her to “teach her some manners” and you kept screaming at him to stop but he never did, not until her face was bloody and she could barley see. You started sobbing and the man walked over to you and started kicking you in the stomach to make you stop screaming. You eventually did so he would stop kicking you and he finally did. He left the room as she gave y’all a sinister smirk which made you feel the chills all over your body.
You looked over at liv and whimpered at how badly he has beaten her. You needed to go over there, you needed to see if she was okay. Your arms and legs were tied up but you managed to lay completely on the floor and start rolling over to her. You successfully got to her and had trouble sitting up but you eventually did it. “Oh livia…” you whispered to her and you leaned down carefully and placed a gently kiss on the top of her head.
~ flashback over ~
Your thoughts were interrupted by fin calling your name, snapping you out your daydreaming, “Y/n! You alright?” He asked you and you blinked a few times to focus on the world in front of you and not memories in your mind that haunt you. “What? Oh yeah…I’m good…” you said quietly as Olivia watched you from afar, noticing how you haven’t been the same since y’all got kidnapped.
~ flashback ~
It was the next day you suppose, when someone came into the room. A scared nurse was pushed into the room and the door was immediately locked. She saw you and Olivia and rushed over to y’all. “Please do her first…” you begged her and she gave you a small nod. She cleaned up Olivia’s face and told you that she would wake up soon. You thanked her and she quickly examined you and made sure that you were alright. She told you that you will be okay, that you just had some bruising and you will be sore for a week or two. You thanked her again and a loud voice called her and she went back to the door and she went out. Someone turned off the lights and the room was pitch black, then someone turned on the heat and the both of you were covering in sweat, and this went on for who knows how long.
~ flashback over ~
You were brought back to a gun being shot near you and you quickly shot at the person who was trying to shoot you. Olivia came rushing to you with backup behind her. “Y/n! What the hell happened?” She said sternly as she grabbed your weapon from you and scanned you over to make sure that you were safe. “I-I don’t know…I blacked out…” you explained to her and she gave you a disappointing look. “You could have gotten killed!” She yelled and started massaging her head. You sighed “I’m sorry…I just got distracted but it won’t happen again.” You try to explain to her but she wasn’t having any of it. She couldn’t take the chance of someone getting hurt or worse, you getting hurt.
“Go home y/n…” she said sternly but with a hint of gentleness to it. Your eyes widen and a look of hurt crossed your face and she noticed it. It hurt her to do this to you but she didn’t have any other choice. “Please y/n go…and call me when you get home. That’s an order.” She demanded and you walked by her, hitting her shoulder on purpose as you walked home in the night. Olivia hates that she sent you home but there was no way in hell you were going to get hurt as your mind isn’t in the right headspace right now.
~ flashback ~
It feels like it’s been years since we’ve been abducted here, but in reality it’s probably only been a couple of days. Everyday we would get beat up and tortured, apparently one of the men knew Olivia. She sent this guy away for rape and child abuse and he swore he would get his revenge out for Olivia. He wasn’t going to take you but he thought y’all were together because the both of you seemed really close, so he decided to take you as well.
You were in and out of consciousness when you heard gunshots and screaming. You tried to stay awake and see what was happening but you were so sleepy… you tried to look over at Olivia but found people around her. You looked up to see munch, and fin surrounding y’all. Munch and fin helped Olivia up on her feet but she was wobbly as she was trying to walk, so munch let her use him to walk. You smiled weakly at her, knowing that she is safe now and closed your eyes, but you didn’t wake up. “No! Y/n!” Olivia screamed out and fin immediately picked your limp body in his arms and ran outside where the ambulance is.
When you woke up, you were in a hospital bed. Blinking a few times, you looked over to see Olivia wide awake in her own hospital bed beside yours. “O-Olivia…” you called out to her weakly. “Y/n…hey.” She rasped out as she smiled at you. “Did they catch the people who abducted us?” You asked her and she nodded her head yes as you sighed in relief. “It’s over now y/n”.
~ flashback over ~
You launched forward in bed and looked around the room hurriedly. It felt like your heart was beating out of your chest and you couldn’t breath. Since Olivia sent you home, you’ve been having terrible nightmares about the few days y’all were trapped. You breathed in and out slowly and focused on Olivia. She always makes you calm, especially when you have your panic attacks. She was always there since she knew how to help you as she was the only person you trusted and who could help you from it, But a sudden knock from the door made you confused and a little scared.
You got up from your bed with only in your tank top and short shorts, you walked to your front door and open it to reveal your captain. “Olivia? What are you doing here?” You asked her confused. “It’s been days y/n and you haven’t called me at all to let me know you are okay.” She explained to you and you stepped aside for her to enter your apartment. She went in and looked around your place “it’s nice. Seems comfy.” She said and you looked at her awkwardly. “Uh…thanks?” You said and she sighed. “Y/n…what’s been going on with you recently? Ever since what happened when we got kid-.” She was interrupted by the haunted look on your face as she mentioned the incident and her heart immediately broke in pieces at the look you gave her.
“Y/n….” She said and got closer to you and you whimpered out. “I-I’m sorry okay! I’m sorry I haven’t been a good detective recently! My mind won’t stop replaying the memories and moments in my head. I keep seeing you get beaten and tortured!. And while you were unconscious…he came in and raped me…h-he wouldn’t stop! He kept saying how this is going to hurt you…he thought we were together. He wanted his revenge and this was one of them!” You cried out as you kept talking. “Do you know how hard it was seeing you in so much pain? I couldn’t do anything to help you! Watching the woman I love get beaten repeatedly to the point where you were barley conscious and hearing the boys talk shit about you and how the guy who raped me said how he fucked your girlfriend.” You said and Olivia gave you a shocked look. You looked at her with a confused expression until it hit you like a bus. You just claimed to your boss that you were in love with her. Fuck.
“Oh God…I-I’m so sorry Olivia! F-forget what I s-said I-I’m sorry…” you said as you started hyperventilating. You got on your knees and was panting hard. Olivia instantly got down on the ground with you and put you in her strong arms. “Hey hey shhhh sweetheart it’s okay…” she said trying to reassure you but you just kept crying and apologizing to her. She can’t believe that you just told her that you loved her. She didn’t think you were interested let alone love her. She had her eye on you ever since y’all become friends all those years ago and now…she knows that you have the same feelings for her like she has with you.
“Y/n. Sweetheart look at me.” She softly demanded and you sniffled as you looked up in her brown eyes. “I love you too…I’ve had for years. That’s why I’m always so protective and insisting that I go with you everywhere. I’m in love with you y/f/n.” Olivia confessed to you and you swear you could pass out right then and there. “Y-you do? But what will t-the others think?” You said with a bit of worry hidden in your time. She gave you a soft smile and shook her head. “Almost everyone already knows. They see how I look and how I treat you. The only person who didn’t know was you.” She explained as you sniffled and gave her a goofy smile to which she laughed at. She rested her forehead against yours and held your body close to hers. “Will you be my girlfriend Angel?” She asked you softly and you nodded your head excitedly. “Yes of course! Captain.” You said giggling and hugging her tightly.
“Don’t worry darling. The bastards who hurt us will rot in prison for the rest of their life. That’s a guarantee on my behalf.” She reassured you and you hummed in acknowledgment as you nuzzled your face into her neck. She smiled down at you and continued to hold you in her arms.
A/n: whew, 1936 words. I hope the anon who requested this enjoys it! Remember to stay hydrated and to rest! I love y’all!

Taking Care of My Girl ~Dom!Rafael Barba xFem Sub!Girlfriend!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary— Aftercare with Rafael.
Mommy… Master List
Requests & Prompt-List
Warnings: Implied smut, aftercare, overstimulation, implied dom/sub relations, implied daddy kink, comforting, physical comforting, kissing, post-sex bliss, etc.
Enjoy (;
You let out a breath you didn’t know you’d be holding as your body went limp against Rafael’s.
“Rafi… that was fuck…” you breathed out with a light chuckle, too speechless and fucked out to finish your thought.
“I could say the same thing, Mierda…” Rafael sighed in content, letting out a chuckle as well and using one hand to swiftly swipe his messed up hair out of his face.
The man was holding you up from behind, and his cock was still deep inside your core. You ran a hand through your now messed up hair, before turning back and looking at the man who had just fucked you to ecstasy. You were both beaming with blissed out smiles. His fingers traced mindless patterns along your now sensitive skin.
“I’m going to pull out now, hmmm hermosa…?” Rafael gently told you.
“Alright. just… slowly please, Papi…” you responded still in your sub space, your eyes fluttering shut for a moment as your body tingled in the after affects of your orgasm and as the overwhelming wave of post-sex hit you.
“Mhmmm, always.” he sighed reassuringly, before slowly pulling her length out from your core.
You winced slightly at the adjustment of Rafael’s dick pulling past your sensitive walls. His hands were now soft and caressing your shoulders and sides, holding you steady and comforting you through the brief discomfort, compared to the vice grip he had your hips and shoulders just mere moments ago when you were screaming his name as you came together.
“Such a good girl, Cariño…” Rafael cooed in your ear, once he was fully out of you.
His warm and sexy hands then guided you to lay down on the bed. And Rafael came up against your back, big spooning you while running his fingers through your hair and whispering strings of praise in your ear.
“You did good, Querida… so good… bueno nena, mi amor…” Rafael praised you with gentle, soft love.
Your body’s numbness and limpness had faded, and you were now trembling lightly. Your breathing was still shallow, and your head was spinning.
Rafael tended to have this effect on you. Curse him and whoever gave him the genes of not only a silver tongue, but also ten nice thick fingers, on top of a back breaking, leg splitting cock…
He began to rub and massage your trembling and sweaty frame with his hands in soft and loving motions. His mouth gave you kisses along your back and shoulders and neck.
You sighed, finally able to take a breath and resurface from your deep mindset that reeked of sex and power and control. Your eyes fluttered closed as you leaned back into Rafael’s sweaty body, humming in happiness at the skin on skin contact.
“There’s my Cariño…” Rafael hummed with a smirk caressing your side now, always proud of how blissed out he made, but just as happy to have his girlfriend back.
“Mmmmmm…” you hummed, turning your head up and back to look at him, then leaning toward him and rubbing your nose against his lovingly, cupping his cheek with your hand, “I love you, Rafi…”
After rubbing noses, you two landed on being head on head, just laying together with closed eyes in peaceful love.
“Mmm, I love you too, hermosa… mucho mucho, mi amor…” Rafael breathed out under his breath for only you to hear.
You both couldn’t help the bright, blissed out smiles that spread across your faces. And you both laid in each other’s arms, taking in and enjoying the moment, while you regained your composures.
You began to doze off in Rafael’s arms, and his heart melted at the sight. Somehow, the cutthroat, ambitious DA that took down rapist and pedophiles had fallen for you and had turned into the biggest softie. He couldn’t deny that he loved who he was with you, just as he enjoyed who he was at work.
He let you sleep for about 20 minutes, drinking in your blissful, resting form, before gently tapping your thigh and rocking you back awake. You snorted a little as you came back to Rafael, stretching a little in his arms still as you woke up.
“I would have let you sleep, but I want to make sure to get you cleaned up, fed, and taken care of, Cariño…” Rafael hummed lovingly.
You now flipped over to your other side slowly as you could feel your impending soreness. Now facing your boyfriend, you looked at his pearly green, caring eyes and your heart melted.
You leaned in just enough to gently place your lips on his. It was a light kiss, short and sweet, but filled with so much unsaid love and care. You then pulled away, too soon for both of your liking, but content at the same time.
“Mmmm thank you… you’re so kind to me…” you hum, your mind still a little fuzzy.
At this, Rafael brought his hands up to your cheeks, and his gaze bore into yours.
“Of course, mi amor… you deserve all the love in the world.” He genuinely said, with a hint of vulnerability and a whole lot of care.
It was Rafael’s turn to press his lips against yours now, before pulling away after a moment with a smile.
“Now, let me go get a warm washcloth, hmmm…? Then I’ll clean you up, maybe we order some take out, I can give you a bath, then bed…?” Rafael breathed out.
You smiled back, pressing your body into his and wrapping your arms around him.
“Yes please…You take such good care of me…” you murmured into his warm and sexy chest.
Rafael chuckled lightly, slowly getting up from the bed, placing a kiss on your forehead before standing up completely.
“For you? Anything, Cariño…” Rafael hummed, before going to get that warm washcloth to clean you up.

Unspoken Bonds (Olivia Benson X Friend! Reader, Rafael Barba X Reader)
Request: Hello, there! I would like to request an Olivia Benson x Friend!Reader were reader and some friends in the alley near Olivia's apartment building. One day, after a fight with her boyfriend, reader is drinking beer in the spot she usually hangs out at, and Olivia talks her into going back into the apartment. They talk, and Olivia cooks her dinner. Olivia asks reader to join her some other time.
A/N: This request has been tweaked with the boyfriend but not boyfriend just someone the reader has been crushing on being Barba and the fight being him leaving the squad after his trial! I hope you like it so sorry it took so long!
--------------
The air in the alley was usually welcoming. The hushed whispers, the laughter.
Today it seemed quiet. Tense.
You walked, a frown on you face as you rushed into the bar. You were not by any means a drinker, but you always came with the squad to drink after a case.
You sighed. There was no one here today and you needed a drink.
Or two or three.
Earlier in the day, a heated argument had erupted between you and Rafael. He was found not guilty and yet instead of celebrating you found yourself even more upset.
He wanted to leave. Leave the DA's office. Leave the squad.
Leave you.
It angered you how you had supported him from the moment he pulled the plug and it had all been for nothing. The weight of the disagreement lingered heavily in the air as you found yourself drowning another drink.
You loved him.
Not that he knew, of course. To him, you were just a friend. Just a really good friend he would call every morning, text every night, laugh with, go on vacations with.
Just a friend.
The whole squad knew you had feeling for him beyond a silly crush. You hadn't wanted to tell him. You were certain he didn't have the same feelings for you. If he did he would have already made a move by now. It had been years since you had met. So many coffee meet-up, trial victory dinners and late night movies.
You scowled as you asked the bartender for another one, not noticing someone eyeing you from across the bar.
Olivia, ever perceptive, noticed the turmoil in your eyes when you walked into the bar. She decided to give you some space but kept a watchful eye. As the night wore on and the three drink became six it became apparent that you weren't going to bounce back from this one easily. Olivia knew how much you cared for Barba. She knew the how upset you were. From the moment you had come back from the courthouse and left with you jacket without saying a word, Olivia knew something was wrong. A call from Rafael confirmed her suspicions. Lots of things were said, lots of unpleasant ones and Olivia listened as he pleaded her to check up on you.
Which led to her quietly approaching you.
"Mind if I join you?" she asked, her tone a careful mix of concern and warmth.
You looked up, offering a small, sad smile. "Hey, Liv. Yeah, sure."
The two of you settled into a quiet corner, away from the prying eyes and the buzzing conversations. Olivia, familiar with the unsaid language of pain, waited for you to open up.
"He wants to leave, Liv," you finally spoke, your voice barely above a whisper. "After everything that happened with the trial, he just wants to start fresh. I can't wrap my head around it, Liv. We fought, and I don't know what to do."
Olivia's eyes softened, understanding the weight of your words. "He's worried about you, you know?"
You rolled your eyes. "Of course he is," you said, sarcasm lacing your voice.
"Why haven't you told him?"
Your eyes went wide as you looked up. "Liv I can't."
"Why not?" Came the careful pry.
You felt something wet on your cheek and you touched it, realizing you were crying.
You were immediately engulfed by a caring warmth. Olivia held you, as the tears continued to flow freely down your face.
"Let's get out of here," she whispered into your ear as she called over the bartender to pay your tab
You nodded as you pulled away, as you tried to wipe your tears away. "No Liv let me pay-"
"No, I think you've gone through enough today." As she glanced down at the receipt she looked over at you and couldn't help but laugh as she passed you the bill.
You looked at it.
Holy shit. 200 bucks.
"Still want to pay?" She asked with a grin and you cracked, giggling as you shook your head.
Olivia finished paying and you tried to get up but immediately felt the weight of the drink your had.
This is why I don't get drunk.
Olivia helped you towards her car, laughing the whole way as you tried to walk in a straight line.
After a five minute struggle you managed to get into her car.
"Is it okay if we go to my place?" Olivia asked.
Feeling a sense of comfort in her offer, you agreed, allowing Olivia to guide you back to her apartment.
Inside, the apartment felt like a sanctuary. She made sure you were comfortable, offering a safe space for you to unload the burden you had been carrying.
"So why haven't you told him?"
You sighed and let out a deep breath. "I don't know Liv. He probably doesn't even feel the same way. We've been friends for years and he's never show any interest beyond our friendship."
Olivia nodded, the conversation beginning to sound awfully familiar. "You won't know unless you tell him. Would you really just let him leave without telling him?"
"I-I-I don't know. Maybe?" You tried, stuttering.
Olivia raised her eyebrows. "Seriously?"
You threw your hands up in defeat. "Liv come oooon! That's not fair."
Olivia shook her head, "It's not fair to either of you."
You were quiet.
After a while, sensing the need for a change of tone, Olivia suggested, "How about I cook us some dinner? A little distraction might do us good."
You managed a weak smile, appreciating the effort to get your mind off it.
-----------
As Olivia moved around the kitchen, getting everything on the stove, she felt her phone vibrate.
A text message.
'Is she okay?'- Rafa
Olivia wiped you hand on a towel as she peaked her head and saw you had picked a book off herself and had begun to read it. She sighed before texting Rafael back.
'Yes but you need to tell her!'
A minute passed before a reply came.
'I will.'- Rafa
She smiled as she looked up at you form on the couch, engrossed in the book, before getting back to dinner.
-------
As the smell of food filled your nose you began to lose interest in the book you had grabbed from Liv's bookshelf. You stood up and placed it back in its spot before walking to the window, looking out at the city below.
You sighed, rubbing your eyes. You knew you had acted childishly. You knew going to the bar wouldn't and hadn't solved any of your problems.
You knew you had to tell him.
You checked your phone, having putting it on silence after storming out of Rafael's office.
70 new text messages and 20 missed calls.
A new text appeared before you could open the others.
'I'm sorry for today. I hurt you and I need to see you. Let me make this right. Please let me see you.'- Raf <3
Your heart skipped a beat but before you could text back Olivia called out, "Dinner's ready."
As you sat down to eat, the taste of Olivia's homemade dinner mingled with the shared silence made you anxious. She glanced up as your leg bounced erratically under the table.
"Are you ok-"
"He asked to see me!" You blurted out.
Olivia tried to hide her smile as she nodded. "And?"
"I'm going to tell him." You said with determination.
Olivia took a drink from her wine. "That's great. I'm glad."
You smiled as you texted Rafael back as Olivia took another bite from her food, trying to keep her composure as she felt her phone go off.
'Thank you Liv. I owe you a million.'- Rafa
Olivia looked up grinning and you grinned back.
"See my food makes everything better!" She joked.
You laughed. "Thank you Liv. Honestly you're such a good friend."
"It's what I do," She said with a smile as she began to think how she would tell the squad tomorrow.

“I like you so much, I wish you were more than just my intern.”
“Well, those arrangements can be made.”
You enjoyed being a detective, but you wanted more. You followed in Sonny’s footsteps for as long as you could imagine and now it was your time to shine. You and Sonny had been partners for about 4 years when he announced he was applying to law school. You were there for Sonny when he got his acceptance letter, and when he had mentioned before his acceptance that he was applying to Fordham night school to become an ADA, it had become a surprise to you because you were actually looking at that school, among many others in the area. A few years after Sonny finished law school, you got one of the best news of your life.
“Sonny, you need to come over ASAP.” You said over the phone.
“Why, are you okay?”
“I just have something here that I’d like you to witness.”
“Okay, I’ll be there in 20.”
When Sonny came over, the both of you curled up on your living room couch staring at your laptop.
“I got an email from Fordham.”
The clock ticked slow from the time you opened up the email to the time you clicked on the link to log into the portal.
“Is that what I think that is?” Sonny said.
After you logged in there was another thing you had to click on in order for you to see your application status. Then, a whole bunch of confetti popped up on your screen.
“OH MY GOSH I GOT IN!” You screamed.
You and Sonny screamed and laughed for a few moments, living in the moment. You got accepted into law school!
“I’m so proud of you Y/N. You deserve it.” Sonny said, pulling you into a hug.
“Aww thank you.” You beamed. “And look at you, thriving as an ADA already. If anything I’m proud of you!”
Sonny also had a wide smile on his face. “It’s no easy thing, so thank you. These accomplishments deserve a little celebration, dont’cha think?”
“Oh yea,” You agreed.
And with that, your life changed.
•••
Fast forward a few months, you went through orientation and all those get to know you stuff and you were now taking your official classes. Sonny on the other hand was doing great as an ADA and you were extremely happy for him. Juggling law school and working as a detective, not to mention you got promoted, was something you were learning to handle one day at a time. You didn’t know how Sonny did it.
Throughout the semester, Sonny occasionally popped by to check on and see how everything was going, and he even helped you with some of the classes that he previously took. When you had your spare time on the job you went to visit Sonny to see how he was handling Hadid and the cases he had to work with. On the days he had to work late to prep for trial, you were reluctant to leave him, you were curious about this aspect of being an ADA. He gave you advice and other words of wisdom that you kept with you throughout your time in law school.
A year and a half passed by and Sonny was taking off with his career and you were still in school, doing everything you could to get high grades in your classes. On top of that, dealing with all the changes Manhattan SVU was going through was taking a toll as well. It was about that time for you to start gaining experience. Sonny let you sit in cases, live cases, in the courtroom, as you took notes on his techniques, just as he did when he learned from Rafael.
“You know, you might as well be an ADA now with all these cases you’ve sat in with me.”
“Not yet, Counselor. Give it about two more years. For now, I’ll be your little intern.”
That brought a smile to Sonny’s face. “Intern, huh?”
“Yeah.”
“If you’re serious about it, I can make arrangements with the DA… it can be your part time.”
Your eyes widened. “Sonny…”
“I know, I know. You don’t have to act on it right away, I just want the best for you. I didn’t get the chance to do this, but I want you to have it.”
You didn’t know what to say, so you hugged Sonny.
“Thank you. Seriously, for everything.”
“Of course. Anything for my partner.”
•••
After many conversations with the DA’s office, the bureau chief, and even Benson, you got your official position as ADA Sonny Carisi’s intern. Part time internship kind of situation. It was needed as one of the requirements for one of the classes you were taking so it fit.
Your days consisted of looking over some of the cases Sonny had on his docket, taking notes for your own practice, as well as observing during cases. You did get paired with other ADA’s on the eighth floor, but you always drew yourself towards Sonny.
•••
One night, you were in Sonny’s office looking over a case with him when he decided it was best for the both of you to have a nightcap.
“Hey, you’ve been taking notes on that case file for a while. Unwind with me.”
You looked up and saw Sonny pull out a bottle of wine and glass cups. You watched him pop the bottle open and pour the red liquid in both of the cups. He handed one of them to you, hoping you would accept it. You sighed, plopping the case file on the table. Taking the glass with a smile on your face, you followed Sonny to the couch he had in his office.
“You know, I don’t think I ever told you this, but it’s beautiful how dedicated you are to becoming an ADA.”
“Aww, you think so?”
“Yes.”
“I appreciate it a lot. I think a part of it was also your doing. You inspired me to go further in my career. Further helping victims of all walks of life that don’t have a voice of their own, victims that want to be free from the shackles of their toxic situations, victims that are tired of their bodies being used forcefully for sexual desires.”
“Maybe I did inspire you. You’ve really been a great advocate for everyone that walked through those precinct doors and it shows.”
“Cheers to that.” You smiled, raising your glass.
Sonny clinked his glass with yours and smiled. “Cheers.”
“I’m glad you’re my intern.”
You raised an eyebrow, setting your glass down. “Oh?”
“Yeah. I get to spend more time with you, for starters.”
“Mmm, yeah, I miss you at SVU sometimes. It’s not the same without you.”
Sonny nodded. “I get that.”
There was a moment of silence between the two of you, just completely comfortable silence and long looks.
“I like you so much, I wish you were more than just my intern.” Sonny admitted to break the silence.
You were startled at first, but then a smile crept on your face as soon as you knew what he meant.
“Well, those arrangements can be made.” You whispered. You took one more sip of your wine and scooted closer to Sonny.
“Oh yea?” He said in a hushed tone, moving closer to you as well. At this point, the both of your thighs were touching each other. You felt a major spark between you and him. You were feeling a certain type of way and it wasn’t from the alcohol.
“Yea.” You whispered.
Sonny gently took your face in his hand and kissed you.
After the kiss, the both of you were smiling, holding each other’s faces in hands and touching foreheads.
“I want more,” you said. “That was beautiful.”
“Beautiful indeed, my little intern.”

Liv’s daughter gets her first migraine injection? Of course Liv does it for her cause there’s no way she can do it herself. Its really painful, but Liv comforts her afterwards and they cuddle together.
Tumblr media
ᕚ---ᕘ
The sunlight of the morning sun filtered through the still half-closed curtains. You sat on the edge of your double bed, staring nervously at your lap as you rubbed your shaking and sweaty hands on your pajama pants. In front of you was the long box with a migraine injection that your mother had brought you from your neurologist yesterday afternoon. Your heartbeat raced in your chest as you looked at the needle and injector.
Thoughts raced through your mind, sending you into a panic as you tried to take a deep breath and gather the courage. But the needle in front of your eyes seemed so frightening, and the thought of injecting it through your stomach alone increased your fear. The thought of the pain to come during the procedure made you shudder.
A large lump had formed in your throat as you tried to keep breathing calmly. "You're not a child anymore. You can do this," you whispered to yourself, but that only seemed to make the fear grow even greater. You reached for the included instructions and read through them for the hundredth time since last night. The individual steps were illustrated with pictures and described precisely, but your hands were shaking as if you had Parkinson's and the writing on the paper blurred into a scribble. "Damned!"
Hesitantly, you decided to accept help from your mother and call her. She had offered you her support and was waiting outside in the living room in case you needed her. "Mom?" you asked into the void, looking anxiously at the door. A soft knock on it startled you as you briefly returned to your thoughts. Olivia poked her head through a crack before carefully stepping into the room and you immediately felt relieved when you felt the familiar presence. “Everything okay, my darling?”
You nodded uncertainly and looked at her with wide eyes as you patted the seat next to you. You began nervously picking at your nails, your gaze wandering between your mother and the injection. "Yeah, I'm just... trying to take this injection."
Olivia stepped closer to you, her hands clasped under her chest and already holding her glasses in one of her hands before sitting down next to you. She opened a hand invitingly and you dropped the paper into her hand. "You don't have to do this alone," she spoke softly in a whisper, pulling up her glasses to take a closer look at the injection instructions. Your doctor had already shown her how it worked and what she should pay attention to. But one thing is certain: she couldn't afford any mistakes. She didn't want to cause you pain. "I'm your mother. I'm here to help you, no matter what."
A tiny smile spread across your face and you leaned your head on her shoulder. "Thanks, it's just... the fear of the pain. Dr. Phillips suggested it could be really painful." you gulped and hugged yourself. Olivia noticed your nervousness and placed a reassuring hand on your thigh, gently running her thumb over your clothed skin before resting her cheek on the top of your head. "You've already been through so much, sweetie. You can still do this. You're so strong!"
With shaky hands, you opened the box and pulled out the injector. Your heart raced when you saw the needle in real life. Your mother immediately grabbed your hand and squeezed it gently. "Take a deep breath and breathe out. You can do it, I'm here." You nodded and watched Olivia prepare the injection with steady hands as you took deep breaths and tried to calm your nerves with a little walk around your room. "Ready?"
"Yeah. Let me get it over with," you stood in front of your mother and pulled up your shirt. You quickly closed your eyes, focusing on your breathing as you tried to control the fear. With slow, step-like movements, Olivia approached you and placed the needle on your lower abdomen. The thought of the coming pain caused goosebumps to form on your skin, but you nodded silently and she pressed the injector firmly until it clicked into place.
Under her pressure, your mother felt a moment of tension, followed by a tiny sound of pain escaping your lips as the liquid slowly flowed into your body. Tears welled up in your eyes, but she continued to hold your hand, whispering soothing words to you as she stroked the back of your hand. "A few more seconds, you're almost there."
When the injection was finished, you exhaled deeply as if a weight had been lifted from you and Olivia carefully and carefully removed the needle before dropping the injector to the side. She quickly stood up, put her arms over your shoulders and pulled you close to her. "You did it. You were incredibly brave,"
You smiled weakly at the battle you had won with yourself and hugged yourself tightly to her middle, your head pressed tightly against her chest as you let the rest of your tears fall freely. Kisses adorned the top of your head and caresses were banished to your back as Olivia slowly brought you back to bed. "How about it. I'll let Finn take charge today, you skip school and we have a cozy day in bed?"
"That sounds great, Mom. Is that really okay with you?" you asked, throwing the blanket over your body while your head rested on the pillow. She didn't say another word, took her cell phone out of her pocket and tapped furiously on the screen before turning it off and throwing it on the dresser. "More than okay, my darling."
She disappeared from your room in a flash and you heard the microwave do its work. Shortly afterwards, the smell of sweet popcorn filled the entire apartment and Olivia returned. She had squeezed back into her pajamas and lay down on the bed next to you. You continued watching your favorite show together, occasionally dozing off in your mother's gentle embrace.

The precinct lights cast a sickly yellow glow on your face as you slumped back in your chair. The file lay open on your desk, its stark details screaming at you. 10-year-old girl, missing for two days, possible abduction. The picture of the little girl, bright smile and eyes full of life, mirrored your own sister's at that age. A wave of nausea washed over you, bile rising in your throat. You squeezed your eyes shut, willing it away.
Olivia found you like that, head buried in your arms, the silence in the normally bustling squad room a dead giveaway. Concern etched lines on her forehead as she knelt beside you, her hand brushing against yours hesitantly. You flinched at the contact, the dam finally breaking.
"Hey," she murmured, her voice laced with worry. "What's wrong?"
You looked up, vision blurred with tears. The words came out in a broken whisper, "It's Sarah. The case, it's Sarah."
Olivia's brow furrowed. Sarah was your younger sister, the sunshine to your storm. You rarely spoke of her at work, preferring to keep your personal life separate. But this, this case ripped through those carefully constructed walls, leaving you raw and exposed.
She pulled you into a hug, your trembling form a stark contrast to her steady embrace. The familiar scent of her vanilla perfume and leather jacket did little to ease the storm raging inside you. You clung to her, burying your face in her shoulder, tears soaking the fabric of her uniform.
"It's okay," she whispered, her voice a soothing balm. "Let it out."
You didn't hold back. The image of the missing girl, so like Sarah, the fear of what she might be going through, the helplessness that clawed at your insides – it all came pouring out in a torrent of choked sobs. Olivia held you tight, a silent pillar of strength amidst the wreckage of your emotions.
When the last sob subsided, leaving you drained and shaky, she pulled back, wiping away the tears that streamed down your face with her thumbs. Her green eyes held a depth of tenderness that both soothed and ached.
"You don't have to pretend to be okay," she said softly. "We'll find her. We always do."
The unwavering certainty in her voice offered a sliver of hope. But the memory of countless cases with less fortunate endings loomed large.
The ride home was a blur. Olivia drove in silence, her hand resting on yours in a comforting gesture. You stole a glance at her profile, the strain etched on her face mirroring your own.
Once inside your apartment, the weight of the day truly hit you. You collapsed onto the couch, burying your face in the cushions. A choked sob escaped your lips.
Olivia knelt before you, her hand cupping your cheek. Her touch was gentle, a silent question in her eyes. You looked up, the raw vulnerability in your gaze a stark contrast to your usual stoicism.
"I can't," you whispered, voice thick with emotion. "What if we don't find her? What if..."
Olivia didn't let you finish. She pulled you close, cradling you in her arms. You melted into her embrace, the familiar scent and warmth a grounding force amidst the chaos.
"We will," she said fiercely, her voice a promise. "We always do everything we can. But it's okay not to be okay. You don't have to carry this alone."
You clung to her, the sound of her steady heartbeat a lighthouse in the storm. Tears streamed down your face again, a mixture of grief, fear, and a sliver of hope rekindled by her unwavering support.
As the minutes ticked by, your sobs subsided into sniffles. Olivia remained by your side, a silent pillar of strength. When you finally pulled back, your eyes red-rimmed but a flicker of determination returning, she brushed a stray tear from your cheek.
"We'll get some rest," she said, her voice firm but gentle. "And tomorrow, we fight like hell to bring that little girl home."
You nodded, a newfound resolve settling in your gut. The case wouldn't be easy, the path ahead uncertain. But with Olivia by your side, a love that had weathered countless storms, you knew you could face anything.
Later that night, as you lay curled up beside Olivia, the weight of the day finally lifted. The gentle rise and fall of her chest lulled you into a restless sleep, haunted by flashes of the missing girl's face and your sister's bright smile.
The following days were a blur of activity. You and Olivia dove headfirst into the case, chasing down leads, interviewing witnesses, the urgency to find the missing girl a constant

We can do it in the pouring rain
Tumblr media
Warnings: Making out, promises of future filth
Rating: M
Pairing: Rafael Barba x f!Reader
Summary: The heat finally breaks
Song Vibes: Gimme Shelter, The Rolling Stones
Notes: What? A fic? From me? Who am I?!
Honestly, this is the first time I've opened my personal computer since moving in May. This is rough, super under edited, and not my best work, but it is finished! And so here you go, only a few years gap between this and the last time I posted something from this series. Please let me know if there are any typos or errors!
Motivation and inspiration coming from a straight week of rain here in New York, peaking with the city flooding and all transport shutting down. It was charming here....
It had felt like New York was holding its breath for days—that sort of late August heat that lays heavy on the city. It was thick, swollen, and hot, the only relief coming from the rush of air as the subway charged past the platform. No matter what you did, sweat poured off of you. Going anywhere, moving at all really, was too much. It left you exhausted and irritable. You were ready to start sacrificing to the gods if the infernal heat would just break. Surely it was close? The air was so thick, you swore you could feel it pass over your skin as you walked, like the cling of a damp curtain in the shower, irritating but determined.
Even sitting inside at the bar at Forlini’s, you felt like you were melting, sweat making your thighs stick to the cracked leather of the stool. The A/C unit above the door groaned and wheezed, rattling away in vain as it struggled to cool the restaurant. Despite its best efforts, sweat trickled down the back of your neck, dampening the back of your shirt and leaving you utterly miserable.
Rafael, on the other hand, seemed perfectly composed. His only concession to the heat was to abandon his jacket and roll his sleeves. He had pulled his tie loose, but had yet to remove it completely. He wasn’t flushed. He wasn’t even sweating. You hated him just a little bit for it. Even more for the amused twist of his lips when you shifted again, fanning yourself with the menu.
“You doing ok over there?” He raised his eyebrows at you, humor laced through the question as you pressed your glass to your neck, hoping the ice in your drink would cool you down.
You leveled a glare at him. “You know, the A/C actually works in the apartment. We can even mix our own drinks there. And the shower has endless cold water.”
He scooted closer as more people filed in and pressed up against the bar next to him. You grunted in displeasure as he invaded your personal space and you could feel the body heat radiating off him in waves. He huffed in amusement and ducked forward to press a kiss behind your ear as he took your glass from your hand and placed it back on the counter. He stroked his thumb along the line of your neck, tracing the path left behind by the condensation on the glass. You tried to squirm away, but the sudden influx of patrons had him now almost flush against you with nowhere to go.
“There room for two in that shower if I promise to get you home now?” His voice was low and the brush of his breath across your skin had you shivering despite the heat.
You snorted and shoved at him lightly so you could get out, wincing when you had to practically peel yourself off the leather. “Stop sharing your infernal body heat with me and we’ll see.”
He lifted his eyes to nod at the bartender before pulling you the rest of the way to your feet. The press of bodies had gotten tighter and the next chime of the bell over the door brought with it the yelps and shrieks of people ducking inside and the thick smell of petrichor.
“Oh shit.”
Your heart sank at the view out the windows. The heat had finally broken, and broken spectacularly. You could hardly see the street through the curtain of water. A cloud burst, dumping without warning.
“Fuck we should go. Call a car. We don’t want to get stuck on this side of the bridge.”
He was a step ahead of you, already scrolling through the apps on his phone. You peered through the glass, watching water rush down Baxter Street, eddies and rivers running through the gutters. The rain was coming down so fast the city struggled to drain effectively.
Behind you Rafael cursed softly, and when you turned, his eyebrows were almost in his hairline.
“$180 to Brooklyn,” he explained, shaking his head in disbelief.
“Shit.” You breathed out hard and bounced on your toes one, twice, three times. “Fuck it. Canal is right around the corner.”
Rafael’s head jerked up in surprise. His gazed dropped, eyeing your silk blouse and flats skeptically. “You really want to run for it?” He ran a nervous hand over his silk tie.
“Last time a storm broke this fast, people were stranded in Manhattan overnight. I’m not sleeping in your office.”
His lips parted and he looked for half a second like he was going to object. But then he was breathing out hard, popping open his briefcase to shove his jacket and tie inside. “Fine. But you’re dealing with the dry cleaning.”
“Run fast, and maybe you won’t have to worry about that,” you taunted back with a smirk and tugged the door open, ducking out in the street, Rafael right behind you.
You were immediately dumped on, assaulted by sheets and sheets of rain. It hit you like a slap across the face, cool and sharp, soaking your hair and clothes. The sheer volume of water made you gasp and curse. You took off down the street in the direction of the subway, Rafael at your heels, swearing and holding his briefcase over his head as a makeshift umbrella.
The Canal Street stop really was just around the corner, but it made no difference. The rainfall was so heavy that it obscured critical information until you were right in front of it: the construction materials and tape that was strung up across the entrance, blocking the stairs. This particular subway entrance was closed.
“Fuck!” you shouted, shading your eyes from the rain and casting around for Rafael, unable to see him through the fall of water.
You were utterly saturated, your blouse soaked through and clinging tight to your body like saran wrap. Rafael wasn’t faring much better as he pulled up next to you, splashing his way along. Rain water was pouring off him, cascading down the sides of his face, over his chest. His shirt was plastered to his skin, white fabric gone transparent and clinging to the muscles of his chest, his arms. In another time and place, you would have appreciated the view. As it was, there were more pressing matters.
“What now?” Rafael was squinting, wiping at the water in his eyes as he pitched his voice to be heard above the rain.
Before you could open your mouth to answer, a cab drove by, tearing down the street at a speed that was highly inadvisable in the low visibility and kicking up a wave of water from the gutter, sending it crashing over both of you.
You stood frozen, eyes and mouth wide in shock. You expected a shout or a curse from Rafael, at least. Some threat against the universe for ruining his suit. But instead there was a long pause and you turned slowly to face him. He met your eyes, resembling a drowned rat more than anything else. He looked just as shocked as you, mouth gaping, holding his arms away from his sides as though it might keep the water off of him. He paused, chest expanding as he took a deep breath (for the tirade of curses against the rain, you assumed). But instead he threw his head back, laughing. Full, loud, and bright as the crack of lightning that flashed across the city skyline. And when he finally straightened up to look at you, he shook his head, water flying everywhere.
“We’re fucked!” You threw your arms in the air.
“I know!” he shouted back, grinning.
Your annoyance flared hot, and you wiped at your eyes angrily, cursing when you pulled your fingers away to see them smeared with mascara, the water catching on your eyelashes and making it run. He was still laughing, mirth loud enough to be audible over the rain.
“What the hell are you so happy about?”
He raised an eyebrow at you and smirked. Your silk shirt was completely saturated with the rain water and plastered to your breasts, your nipples hard and obvious through the thin fabric. He dragged his gaze down your body and back with a significant look.
You crossed your arms, frowning, shoulders hunched to hide from his leering with a glare. It did little to hide anything, just pushing them up further for him to appreciate.
And he was undeterred by the dirty looks you threw in his direction, advancing on you slowly, a predatory sway to his step. You took half a step back and then another in a futile attempt to put space between you as he crowded close, advancing until your back hit something hard, the nearest building pulling you up short. Your breath caught, the rough brick snagging on the thin silk of your shirt, scratching at your back and pulling at your hair. His eyes flashed, triumphant as he leaned close. He dipped his chin to slowly drag the point of his nose along your neck, nuzzling. His breath was hot, the contrast with the cool rain making you shiver against him, a tiny flare of want pulsing low in your belly against your better judgment.
“Rafael.” You injected as much steel as you could in your voice, a warning. The insolent smile he gave you in response did not indicate success.
“This was your idea,” he reminded you, breath warm on your skin as he pressed an open-mouth kiss behind your ear.
You managed to swallow the small, pathetic whimper that threatened to slip out in response, even as your fingers curled into the sodden fabric of his shirt. Not shoving him away, but not pulling him close either.
“Not this idea,” you managed, voice going breathy when he pressed another kiss to the same spot, scraping his teeth against the sensitive skin this time. “Get your mind out of the gutter.”
He pulled back just far enough to meet your eyes, a single suggestive eyebrow inching up. “I think we just got everything out of the gutter.”
You snorted in spite of yourself and he winked. The rain was still coming down in sheets, but he was catching the brunt of it now as he leaned over you, beating down on his back and shoulders, catching on the ends of his hair, dripping off his nose to fall on your cheeks as he pressed close.
“We need to get home,” you pointed out, but he only hummed in response, ducking back low to brush his lips over the shell of your ear.
“No cab is going to take us if we’re soaked through,” you tried again, breath mingling with his as he turned, lips just grazing yours in a tease that made your breath catch and your fingers clench in his shirt.
“I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but we’re already soaked through.” His voice was a low, amused rumble as he pressed light kisses along your jaw, licking lightly at the rainwater that continued to run down from your hair.
He was right of course. His shirt was plastered to his torso, white fabric gone translucent. You shoved lightly at him till he leaned back, and you couldn’t help but drop your gaze to take in the shape of him. How the shirt molded to all the curves and angles of him, his biceps and pecs obvious, every minute twitch and flex clear. Heat flared in you unbidden, licking up your spine as he slipped his one hand under your shirt to splay across your low back. His modesty was only preserved by his undershirt or you were certain you’d see his nipples, conspicuous and dark, through the fabric. It was honestly a shame about the undershirt you thought, flattening your hands on his chest, swallowing the soft noise that threatened to slip out at the feel of his muscles shifting as he stroked your skin.
He smirked down at you, clearly following the path your thoughts had taken. You tweaked a nipple through his shirt in retaliation, and he jerked, grunting.
You went to repeat the motion and he grabbed your wrist, pressing it to the wall up next to your head. Want flared bright in you like the burst of lightning that cut through the sky.
“This was your idea,” he reminded you, an amused twitch to his lips as he leaned down again, his breath ghosting across your skin.
You shivered then gasped as he scraped his teeth down your throat. “My idea was to take the train. This is not taking the train.”
He hummed, kissing his way back up your neck. “No. No, it’s not.”
“We should do that.”
“In a minute.” He ducked low to brush another kiss across your lips. Your breath caught in your throat as those long, clever fingers dipped under the waistband of your skirt, stroking. “We’re stuck here now. Might as well make the best of it.”
“And what’s that?” You slid your hands up his sides, feeling the solid shape of him through the shirt, the heat of him, before curling them in the sodden fabric and tugging him forward before he could answer.
The thud of his brief case hitting the pavement was lost over the roar of the rain and he had you boxed you in, one forearm pressed into the brick next to your head as he used the other to cradle your jaw in a firm grip, tilting your head as he dipped down to press his lips to yours.
The kiss was feather light, in contrast to your urgent tugging, warm rain running across your lips as he met yours with quick, barely there presses, teasing. You could feel the flex of his chest under your palms, the solid weight of him, and you tugged more insistently, chasing his mouth.
He laughed (the bastard), his breath brushing hot across your lips. “I thought you wanted to head to the train?” he murmured against your mouth in between kisses.
You pulled back enough to glare at him and slid both hands into his wet hair in retaliation, gripping tight and pulling him back down to you to kiss him hard. You felt the rumble of his answering groan where his chest was pressed firm against yours as he fought you for control of the kiss, working his tongue against the seam of your lips until you parted them, gasping, and he licked into your mouth, swallowing the soft, needy sound that bubbled up unbidden.
The kiss was hot, like the press of the August heat, and burned pleasantly as you chased the last of the whiskey he drank earlier. Moaning, you curled your hands over his biceps to haul him closer, opening up to him. Water was dripping down his face from his hair in rivulets, pooling in his collarbone under his shirt.
His hands skated down your sides to grasp your hips, your thighs. He scraped his teeth down your neck and you gasped, arching to press into his hold and chase that urgent electricity that raced down your spine to pool in your stomach. He took advantage, licking lightly at the rainwater that was pooling in your collar bone before applying lips and tongue to the thin skin at the base of your throat, working until he could feel the heat of your blood rushing to the surface, leaving a mark, dark and obvious against your skin. The pain of bursting vessels had you gasping, fingers digging into his biceps as you rolled your hips forward, heat flaring between your legs as he marked you up.
He groaned as you rolled your hips again, firm against his, the hard line of his cock obvious through his soaked pants. It was impossible to differentiate where the heat was coming from now, his whole body throwing it off in waves like a furnace. With an urgent noise, he hauled you closer, tugging your leg up and wide until the two of you slotted together perfectly. He rocked against you, grinding his cock along the line of your hip, and dipped his head further, ducking down so he could pull the open collar of your shirt aside with his teeth and lick at the curve of your breasts, chasing the rain as it traced a stream in the valley between. The water made them glisten, and he couldn’t help it, applying lips and teeth and tongue to every inch of soft flesh he could reach.
Both of you had forgotten the rain at this point. Nothing registered other than the press of your bodies together and the fervor you’re stoking between the two of you. You were so caught up in him, his mouth on your breasts, his cock hard against your hip, loving how every tug on his hair made him lose focus and rut against you. In retaliation, or maybe just blind need, Rafa slid his hand down your thigh and back up under your sodden skirt, fingers brushing against your soaked panties, groaning at the slick heat of you.
A sharp wolf-whistle cut through the sound of the rain and your lust, a group of teenagers running past on the sidewalk, their shouts and encouragement breaking the spell you had spun between the two of you.
Rafa pulled back so fast, you almost fell over, his face flushing bright red as he cast around for the voyeurs. You reached up to cup his face, turning him back to you and grinned as he used the hand he had just had up your skirt to push his soaked hair back from his face.
“Maybe now it’s time we headed to the train,” he suggested, more than a little abashed.
You dropped a significant look at his crotch, the soaked fabric of his pants clinging to his cock and making his arousal painfully obvious. “I think you might get arrested for indecent exposure with that, counselor.”
He followed your gaze and huffed a laugh, cheeks bright red. He shifted from foot to foot and tried to pull his slacks away, but to no avail. Finally, he picked his briefcase up off the ground and held it in front of the issue, giving you a small, triumphant grin. He held out his other hand and squeezed when you laced your fingers together.
“Come on." You grinned at him through the rain. "Let’s get home and you can fuck me in the shower. I’ll even keep my clothes on to keep the fantasy alive.”
Rafa snorted and used your joint hands to pull you close so he could lean in and kiss you, quick and full of promise.
“Ok, but I’m taking mine off. I’d like to at least keep the illusion that this suit can be saved.”
You rolled your eyes at him, but laughed at the serious look on his face. “Whatever you want, dear.”

Olivia benson x fem!reader
Warnings: talks of eating disorders, comfort/fluff
These past few months have been extremely difficult. A lot has been going on and I don’t know why but I’m falling back into old habits again. I haven’t been eating or drinking a lot, it’s just been too difficult for me too. I have no desire to eat or to drink, the thought of it makes me nauseous and upset. Of course I’ll eat little things here and there but never really a full course meal like before. I’m sure that my girlfriend has noticed, I mean, she is the captain of the svu squad. She hasn’t said anything to me yet about it which I have mixed feelings about. I want her to know what’s wrong without having to tell her because it’s still hard to talk about it to this day, and I know it’s not fair on her since she can’t read my mind but I wish she could so I didn’t have to physically say anything to her. When I started these old habits it started a few months ago.
~ flashback ~
I woke up to an empty bed which isn’t uncommon as Olivia gets called in at night or early in the morning all the time so I’m pretty much used to it now. There was a note on her pillow and you grabbed it. It read “good morning my sweetheart, I’m sorry but I got called in early this morning, I’ll be back hopefully tonight. I love you.” ~ Olivia <3. You put the note back down on the pillow and sighed. You know she’s been busy and you understand that but recently it feels like she doesn’t want to be around you anymore. It’s like she takes anything they offer, even if it’s just doing paperwork, to just get away from you. You know it’s a long stretch and it’s probably not true but you can’t get it out of your head.
You stood up from the bed and stretched, feeling all of your bones pop and crack. Then you went into the kitchen and got yourself y/f/c (your favorite cereal) and some milk. You noticed that you only put a little bit of cereal and milk in the bowl, usually you get a huge bowl full and fill it up but today, it was weird. You didn’t feel that hungry as you normally do and you didn’t feel that great mentally. You just felt sad, which isn’t for no reason because you miss your girlfriend but you felt…icky in some way. You felt extremely insecure in this present moment and you can’t pinpoint why.
~ flashback over ~
That’s how it all started again. I didn’t think it would happen again, after all this time, but it did. Ever since that weird day, I haven’t been exactly the same. Like today for example, Olivia had a few days off for vacation and she gladly took it because she misses you a lot. Which you are glad she took the days but you can tell that she knows about it and you are scared that she will leave you. What if she sees your body like how you do? What if she doesn’t love you anymore? What if-. Your thoughts were interrupted by Olivia’s voice. “Sweetheart? Are you okay?” She asked you as she gently shook your shoulder. You snap out of it and look over at her at her spot on the couch beside you. She had a worried look on her face and you felt bad for making her feel this way.
“I’m sorry…I haven’t felt like myself recently..” you confessed and Olivia gave you a sympathetic look. “I know babygirl…I am a captain and once a detective so I know these kind of things baby. Would you like to tell me what’s going on and why you haven’t been eating?” She asked you softly and your eyes fill with tears. “It’s hard to talk about and I’m scared that you will look at me differently..” you confessed and Olivia took your hands in hers and gently ran her thumb across your knuckles. “Take your time baby and if you don’t want to tell me now that’s okay.” She reassured you and you nodded your head in understanding, grateful that she’s so patient with you. You took a deep breath in and faced her on the couch and started explaining everything from your past and your relationship with food. Olivia listened to you all the way through and kept running her thumb over your hand to help you stay calm while you tell her.
“And recently I’ve been falling back into it again…I’m not completely sure why besides me feeling insecure and wanting to look a certain way…I thought I was over it but I guess I’m not…” you said defeated and Olivia used her other hand to wipe the tears that were currently falling down your face. “Maybe something triggered you to go back down to where you were years ago.” Olivia explained and your eyebrows scrunched together as you tried to figure what could have triggered you. “Well…we haven’t spent a lot of time together…and I’m not saying this to blame you…I just feel like you don’t want to be around me anymore and that you don’t want to be with a person like me.” You confessed and she gently shook her head at you. “That’s far from it sweetheart. It’s been really busy lately and there’s been some people upset with me and I couldn’t risk you getting hurt because of me. That’s why I tried to stay out as late as possible and not some home until a few days later or stay late and sneak out to come home to you and then leave early. I’m so sorry baby. I don’t want you to ever feel insecure about yourself or feel bad.” She reassured you and you felt guilt gripping at your soul.
“Deep down I knew there was a good explanation for us not hanging out that much anymore but it’s like the negative thoughts keep overpowering my positive ones and I keep overthinking. I know it’s not an excuse and I’m sorry again Olivia. It isn’t your fault, it’s just something that I need to work on more.” You said as she gave you a loving kiss on your forehead. “Is there anything I can do to help you with eating and drinking? Like maybe set a timer or a schedule for you to drink a little something this hour and then the next drink a little more. The same can go for eating too, just so you don’t have to wait long periods of time without eating or drinking anything. How’s that baby?” She asked you and you nodded. “I’m up for anything honestly, I just want to feel better.” You explained and she leaned over to give you a passionate kiss on your lips to which you recuperated. “I love you liv.” You said as you looked into her brown eyes. “And I love you most y/n/n.” She replied back to you as she gave you the same adoring look at you.
A/n: I hope the anon likes it and honestly I feel like I didn’t do good with this one, I may rewrite it I’m not sure but I hope that y’all still enjoyed. Remember to stay hydrated and to rest! I love y’all :)

It was well into fall which means the trees had gorgeous red, yellow, and orange leaves decorating the branches, leaves which ultimately fell from the trees and had to be raked out the yard and leaf blowed out of the driveway.
Raking leaves wasn’t your favorite task nor was it Nick’s favorite, but it had to be done. You were home before Nick which meant two things: he was working late and you would have to rake the leaves. You groaned as you exited your vehicle, heading into the house to drop off your purse and work items.
Out in the garage, you grabbed the rake and let out a big sigh. Let’s get this over with. You made your way out to the yard and began, in your opinion, the worst task of the fall season. You hadn’t been raking too long before you heard a car pulling into your driveway. You spun around hoping it was Nick because you were so getting him to help but to your surprise it was Nick’s ex wife, Maria and Zara. Sweet little Zara, you had only been dating Nick for a few months before he brought up having a daughter and being divorced. None of that bothered you, you loved Zara and overjoyed she warmed up to you quicker than you expected.
You were a little confused on my Maria was bringing Zara over a whole day early but honestly, you were happy about it because spending time with Zara was always fun. You discarded the rake by the tree and made your way to Maria’s car. You greeted them both and listened as Maria explained her leave time was being moved up from tomorrow evening to the next few hours. You didn’t ask questions but helped Zara out of the car. A few minutes later Maria left and it was just you and Zara.
“Let’s get your stuff inside and then we can watch a movie after I finish-” You abruptly stopped talking when you heard something fall into the pile of leaves you had started before Zara arrived. Whipping your head around to the sound, you let out a breath of relief as you saw Zara jump into the leaf pile once more. She looked like she was having fun so you watched as her smile grew each time she jumped into the pile. Before too long the leaves were scattered all over the yard once again, but this time you didn’t mind having to rake them again. “Wanna see who can make the biggest pile? Winner gets to jump into both piles.” You decided to make a game out of it, Zara’s only little once so why not make the most of it.
“Can we?!” Zara looked up at you with her big brown eyes that she clearly had gotten from her dad.
“Of course we can!” You beamed. “Come on, let’s get your rake.” You motioned for her to follow you to the garage. She grabbed her little rake and hurried back out to the yard, eager to make the biggest pile. You laughed watching her excitedly begin raking for a few moments before joining her.
Several minutes later, you decided it was time to measure the pile of leaves. “Okay Zara, let’s see who won.” Zara was quick to look between both piles, sizing them up. She took the inspection seriously, measuring how tall the piles came up her legs. You looked on as she compared them. You had purposefully made your pile smaller but not super noticeable because Zara was smart and would catch on if you made it obvious.
“Mine’s the biggest!” She exclaimed, finally deciding that her pile was, indeed, the biggest. You pretended to pout at her answer. “You can jump with me.” She offered upon seeing your ‘pout’.
“That’s so sweet Zara, but you won and get to jump in both piles.” You reminded her.
She shook her head, not having you being ‘sad’. “I want you to have fun and jump with me.” Her innocence was so heartwarming. It was something that Nick worked so hard to preserve, especially given his line of work and you agreed to help him with maintaining Zara’s innocence and making her childhood as fun and carefree as possible.
“If that’s what you want, then I’ll join you.” You finally agreed, giving her a big smile. You watched as her face lit up in happiness.
Zara directed you to your pile and she stood in front of hers. “On three! One…. Two…. Three!” You both jumped into the piles of leaves, laughing the entire time. Leaves went flying up in the air and came down onto your heads.
In the midst of all the laughter and fun, you and Zara failed to hear Nick’s car pull into the driveway. “What’s going on here?” You and Zara heard an all too familiar voice ask.
“Daddy!” Zara jumped up and ran to her dad. You stayed seated in the leaf pile just watching the sweet scene. You chuckled as Nick gingerly pulled leaves out of Zara’s hair before wrapping her up in a warm embrace. “We made leaf piles and jumped in them!” She informed Nick as she pointed over to where you still sat on the ground. You smiled and waved when his eyes met yours. “Come join us daddy!”
Nick couldn’t resist the chocolate brown eyes that stared up at him or the sweet, innocent face of his pride and joy. “Alright, show me what to do.” Nick let Zara lead him over to you and all the leaves. He helped you up and gave you a loving kiss to your lips while Zara picked up your rake and brought it over to Nick.
“I won the biggest leaf pile.” Zara spoke proudly. “Here daddy. It’s your turn. You have to go against me.” She handed her dad the rake which he accepted. “Winner gets to jump in both piles!”
“You’re on.” Nick nudged Zara lightly with grin.
The remaining afternoon was spent taking turns raking leaf piles and jumping into them as laughter filled the air.
Turns out raking leaves isn’t so bad when you have fun with it.
