yui nakamura -- seventeen at the beginning ; talk shit get hit ; ice magic ; runs her family's restaurant and cares for her younger siblings and her parents die ; i dare you to talk shit to her or her siblings ; strong physically and mentally but also she needs a break; love of my life ???
kaiyou nakamura -- thirteen at the beginning; current pov character??? ; baby boy ; healing magic ; gets taken away to be a poison tester for a warlord with a terrifying reputation, lord takeda ; too kind for his own good ; crybaby ; strong ; friends and family call him 'kai'
akasuki nakamura -- eight at the beginning; empathy magic ; cute little dilute calico kitty familiar named ume ; absolute sweetheart ; so shy and sweet and blushy i adore her ; too soft for her own good, taking after kaiyou in that aspect ; i want to hug her, she's such a good kid ; family and close friends call her 'suki'
momoko nakamura -- five at the beginning; empathy magic ; frog familiar named haru; agent of chaos; mud and sticks and tricks and all sorts of fun!! ; she's sick ; i give her such a hard life she does NOT deserve this she needs a hug ; acts happy and chaotic for the sake of others, secretly cries a lot ; loves to yell and be loud ; family and friends call her 'momo'
kaede nakamura -- an infant at the beginning; literally this face >:3 ; i love them so much, they're smart, she keeps her magic a secret the entire time until the end, they even keep their familiar (a crunchy old kitsune named tsubasa) a secret it's so funny
ichigo -- the nakamura kids' dad's familiar, an old wolf. though their dad is dead, he still guards the family, as old and worn and scarred as he is.

good dad all along! endeavor snippet
for backstory, i’m writing a fic where endeavor had a Sudden Realization™ about two years before even meeting rei about what would happen if he went down the “what if i tried eugenics to create someone i can live vicariously through when they beat all might” road, and thus, a fic where endeavor is basically maes hughes, rei is where the todoroki kids get their snark from, touya is a pediatrician, fuyumi and natuso effectively stay the same but Not At All, and shouto is actually a support student was born. (also any and all constructive criticism is welcomed, for all that i love fanfic, i have Not been writing fic for that long tbh)

“alright class,” aizawa sighed, “unfortunately, some of your costumes weren’t put into place yet, so /all of us/ will go down to the support department /quietly./” and he proceeded to march out the door. he waited a few moments for the kids to scramble out of the room before marching them down to the steel doors of class 1-H.
aizawa was about to open the door when powerloader opened it and shut it behind himself with an odd swiftness. “you can’t come in. the first years are being weird.”
aizawa blinked, while his class behind him began to whisper and chatter. “ … what do you mean weird.”
powerloader sighed, and put a hand on aizawa’s shoulder. “they’re doing a …. what did todoroki call it…. vibe? check?”
“A VIBE CHECK?????” kaminari screeched, his eyes going huge. the rest of the class began to either laugh or ask powerloader to “let us see, please sensei!!”
“they’re just gonna keep asking, maijima,” aizawa said, glancing at the door. powerloader let out an explosive sigh, and then opened the door.
“don’t say i didn’t warn you.”
the very first thing anyone noticed was the very thrown together courtroom like aesthetic that the classroom had. a swarm of children were grouped together as if to make a jury. multiple desks were stacked upon each other, as well as chairs to create height for who obviously were the judges. each judge looked… frankly ridiculous.
one student was wearing a very puffy feather boa that clashed with her pink locs around her neck and a traffic cone on her head. she seemed to be holding a different headset that was in a steampunk style from what anyone could tell. another had what looked like a deflated spiky rubber ball as a hat and present mic-style sunglasses. the student in the middle, the one with red and white hair split down the middle, had seven snapbacks stacked upon his head, and three sets of sunglasses, and just an ungodly amount of fake mardi gras beads around his neck.
there even appeared to be a court reporter, using a /very/ makeshift typewriter to take notes with.
and lastly, the student in the middle of the classroom. he looked like an average third year, with brown hair, a third eye on his forehead, and sharp teeth jutting out from his lips.
the judge in the middle banged the desk with an exaggeratedly large toy hammer. the hammer squeaked upon contact. “you have been summoned to the house of VIBES for your VIBE CHECK.” he drew down the pair of sunglasses that were in the middle that actually covered his eyes. “state your name for the dancery.”
“uh…. nakamura? nakamura takashi?”
“what year are you in, nakamura?” the judge to the right (the one with present mic glasses) asked.
“third, what is happening right now–”
“and is it TRUE, nakamura, that you helped design some of class 1-a’s hero costumes?” the feather boa judge snapped.
nakamura jolted his head back slightly, as if he was confused. “uh, /yeah./ why?”
“two of them being yaoyorozu momo and hagakura tooru, correct?”
“yeah, what’s the problem?”
to the shock of nakamura, the adults, and some of the kids (the more internet savvy kids seemed to immediately start wheezing), the feather boa judge let out an unholy SHRIEK.
“HE DOESN’T EVEN SEE THE PROBLEM!,” the present mic judge wailed. the judge in the middle leaned forward, then immediately leaned back when the desks let out an ominous creak.
“you don’t see the problem in giving a fifteen year old girl just… strips of PLEATHER, not even real leather, PLEATHER???? as a costume????? and that’s not even accounting for hagakure’s costume which is just SHOES AND GLOVES. YOU DON’T SEE THE PROBLEM WITH THAT.”
“uh…. no?”
“NOT A VIBE.” present mic judge yelled out. the jury began to repeat the phrase “not a vibe” like the seagulls from finding nemo chanting “mine.” it was very unsettling. shouta slowly took a step back and wondered how he could hide twenty children behind him.
“ignoring the fact that you could have easily asked EITHER ONE of those students for some form of dna, like hair, so you could make a costume in a similar style to toogata mirio-senpai, what happens if hagakure-san gets hurt because SHE DOESN’T HAVE A COSTUME?” feather boa judge snapped, her pupils dilating then shrinking like a camera lens refocusing. “that would absolutely NOT be a vibe!”
“NOT A VIBE,” present mic judge shouted.
here, hagakure actually squeaked, as if she hadn’t realized that could easily happen.
snapback judge pressed a finger to his cheek. “i had a thought.”
“share this thought among the dancery.” feather boa waved a hand.
“yes, share.”
the jury of students started chanting “share” loudly. the middle judge raised a hand for them to be silent.
“aizawa-sensei.” aizawa thanked whatever deity there was out there that he didn’t jump in the slightest at being referred to. “your quirk is erasure, yes?”
“yes.”
“but it doesn’t work on mutant quirks, yes?”
“that’s correct, yes.”
“and there is a known factor that causes some quirks to be, for lack of a better word, dupilcated, yes? with some changes, of course.”
“that is correct.”
the judge in the middle let out a hum. “do you know if your quirk is one, aizawa-sensei?”
nakamura jolted then, immediately seeing the judge’s point. aizawa’s eyes widened.
“i… don’t know,” aizawa said slowly, eyes not on his class but the jury of students that began to chatter.
“so. let us assume it is then. and let us assume that it could also affect mutant quirks. and let us assume that hagakure-san’s quirk IS a mutant quirk. what happens if a person with this quirk and far less morality than aizawa-sensei activated upon hagakure-san? not only would her element of surprise be ruined, she would also be completely defenseless. AND NAKED. IN PUBLIC. which is NOT A VIBE WITHOUT CONSENT.” snapback judge shouted, and smacked the desk with the giant hammer.
“NOT A VIBE!” feather boa shouted.
“n-no i didn’t mean it like that! it was just a joke!” nakamura tried to defend himself.
“jokes are supposed to make you laugh, not make a fifteen year old girl WALK AROUND NAKED, YOU WEIRDO,” present mic judge snapped, pushing up the shades with a oil stained finger.
“and continuing the topic of Poor Costume Design Choices,” feather boa held up a very large picture of a mannequin wearing yaoyorozu’s costume, “what the fuck is this??? you expected a minor to wear this?? where’s the protection?? where’s the kevlar?? WHERE’S THE TIDDIE SUPPORT????” feather boa wiggled the picture for emphasis. “WHERE IS IT NAKAMURA. TELL ME.”
“she said she wanted to have a costume that let her have easy skin access, you can’t blame me!” nakamura blustered.
“ah yes. because you, a third year support fashion student with all the tools, equipment, and knowledge to give all of our heroics students the perfect costumes that most suit their quirk, could not figure out a way to make sure she didn’t have to breast boobily everywhere she goes. i understand your shame,” the middle judge deadpanned. (at the words “breast boobily” bakugou audibly wheezed.) “but NOT taking the time to actually do your JOB is NOT A VIBE.”
“these costumes are not the only costumes you blundered upon, but they are by far some of the worst for the girls. not to mention uuuhhh,” present mic judge made grabby hands at the jury of students, and one broke away from the group to give the judge a folder. “thank you yuuri-kun, ah here we are, bakugou katsuki-san’s costume–” “HEY,” bakugou barked, “–the gauntlets are just… too heckin’ big. also, why are they functional, he’s been here two days. he doesn’t know bomb safety. kirishima eijirou-san’s costume, while it does look cool, does not provide proper protection around the torso in case of quirk exhaustion, plus shirts are important for maintaining body heat, and there are DEFINITELY ways to work around his hardening quirk to ensure no tearing of fabric. and literally anyone with a skin tight costume. chafing is a thing that exists, especially around the joints.” present mic judge looked up from the folder. “we’re not supplying any of these poor bastards with baby powder just because you like the aesthetic more than the functionality my dude.”
“what about the diaper guy?” snapback judge asked, taking the folder that present mic judge passed over. (in the back, mineta silently begged whatever deities were listening that he wasn’t diaper guy. somewhere deep down, he knew he was going to be disappointed.)
“no, nakamura didn’t design that one, takahashi did, i think,” feather boa corrected, “we’re doing his vibe check later.”
“we better, that costume is a disgrace, but that’s besides the point!” present mic judge clapped their hands together. “nakamura has proven to the dancery that he would rather not do the proper work to protect our young future heros! and that is NOT A VIBE.”
“NOT A VIBE.” the middle judge declared.
“hey, i do my work! i put in the effort!” nakamura yelled, obviously offended.
“then where is it? where is the effort? you’re going into the work force next year and you expect the top professional hero fashion designers to see these costumes you’ve made in your official portfolio and call them GOOD?” feather boa demanded, then very loudly and obnoxiously retched.
“you call giving a girl just gloves and shoes effort?? lies are NOT a vibe in the dancery!” snapback judge pointed at nakamura with the giant hammer.
“shut up! you’re just a bunch of freshmen, you don’t know what the public wants or needs!” nakamura snapped.
“if you think the public needs our establishment to sexualize children in order to get ratings then that says more about YOU than it does US,” feather boa sniffed.
“NAKAMURA TAKASHI,” snapback judge boomed, “you have brought HATERATION, and HOLLERATION into the dancery. and thus have FAILED the vibe check.”
the jury of students hissed in unison.
snapback judge smacked the desk with the hammer, evoking another squeak. “bonk him. bonk him good.”
one of the students in the jury rushed forward, and gently grasped the hammer. she then turned, took the hammer in both hands, and WHACKED nakamura in the head as hard as she could. the squeak was overpowered by the third year squawking out “OW!” and clutching his head. another student quickly ran forward, and placed a very large cone hat that simply read “DUMBASS” on nakamura’s head, making sure to snap the elastic string against his chin.
“take him to horny jail,” present mic judge stated, waving a hand away. three of the jurors ran forward and bodily picked up nakamura, one placing his hands underneat his armpits, and the other two grabbing a leg for themselves, and began to shuffle over to a corner of the room. the corner was very obviously modeled after a children’s play area, baby gate and all, with a banner reading “DUMB HORNY BABY JAIL” taped to the gate.

The Elementals
Now, I know I’ve made Element-based OCs before, but these guys are pretty special, not just magical boys/girls, but something unique to them and their storyline. Here are the Elementals:
1. Sky Ramirez. Sky is the new boy in school who moves in with his Abuelo from another town. Quiet, serious, and not very social, he finds it difficult to find new friends. But with some help from Abuelo (who, by chance, owns a popular antique store), Sky makes new and true friends whilst discovering a family legacy. He is giving the Amethyst Cloud, which allows him to become...
Aero, the Elemental of Air. As Aero, his insecurities and anxieties leave him, allowing him to be as free as a bird. He can fly and primarily attacks physically, but can send razor-sharp winds that can slice through metal. He acts primarily as the team leader, but will follow his teammates if they have a better plan.
2. Blaze Armand. Blaze is a happy, spirited and faithful girl loyal to those around her. She’s fiercely passionate in everything that she does, giving it 100%, and as such is in the top of most of her classes. Due to being on the school’s welcoming committee, Blaze is the first to reach out and get to know him. She loves hanging out with all of her friends, especially with the awesome powers they receive. Blaze herself is given the Ruby Flame, which allows her to change into...
Pyra, the Elemental of Fire. As Pyra, her quick thinking and bright ideas grow tenfold, allowing her to work through even the most difficult problems in mere minutes. She becomes twice as energetic and hardworking, and shouts advice to her teammates when they need it most. She primarily attacks by shooting flames, but has a flaming punch strong enough to incinerate forests (not that she’d ever do that). She is the team strategist and second in command.
3. River Lewis. River is a happy guy, through and through, on and off the field. He’s a team player and loves working with others. Though he can get excited, he generally has a level head and can keep calm under lots of pressure. He’s second in class, right after Blaze, but it doesn’t bother him. When Blaze sees Sky going into the antique store, River is the one who suggests they try to talk to him. Though he loves his new powers, he understands how dangerous they can be if not controlled. He’s giving the Sapphire Raindrop, which allows him to transform to...
Hydro, the Elemental of Water. Hydro doesn’t have a lot to say, only interjecting his own words when the other Elementals get out of hand. His physical capabilities increase, especially his swimming. He primarily attacks using water, but can pack a devastating kick that can flood whole cities. Since he doesn’t have a lot to say, he’s more of a follower than a leader, but is not afraid to let Pyra and Aero know if they’re being stupid.
Emerald Laine. Emerald is an outdoorsy girl who refuses to accept the fate of being stuck inside anywhere. A stubborn girl by nature and a curious girl by heart, she will willingly spend hours in the forest behind her house, in all sorts of weather. She’s very intelligent but easily distracted, and often needs Blaze and River to help her catch up on lessons. After they all receive their pendants, Emerald is the first to suggest that Sky joins them and hang out for the day. Emerald loves the fact that her powers make her even more in touch with nature than ever. She’s given the Emerald Leaf, which allows her to become...
Terra, the Elemental of Earth. Terra can communicate with all sorts of plants and animals. Though as willful and free spirited as ever, she becomes more gentle when handling more delicate species. Make her mad, though, and the best of luck to you! She mainly acts as a translator for the Elementals, and is too reckless at times, but will always consider what’s best for the earth when attacking.
5. Aster Nakamura. Aster is an enigma when he first appears. He’s even quieter and less social than Sky, but more like he’s hiding something. In reality, he was created by the Astral Lord, to disguise himself as a human and gain the Elementals’ trust. His true, astral form looked like this:
He pretended to be friendly with the Elementals to release the Astral Giants, only revealing himself to be the Astral Lord’s creation after the fourth one is released. However, when he is forsaken by his ���father” and taken in by Sky, Abuelo, and the other Elementals, he goes up against the Astral Lord and over powers him. in doing so, he earns the right to wield the Rainbow Star, which turns him into...
Astro, the Elemental of Ether. Astro is a joyous, free-thinking, and peaceful Elemental, who cares about the Astral Beasts as well as his fellow teammates. He’s generally happier, as the Elemental form is closest to his truest and most comfortable form. He regrets all that he had done as the Astral Lord’s pawn. His attacks are a mix of elemental and physical.
Other Characters (not drawn):
Miguel Ramirez (Abuelo): Miguel is Sky’s maternal grandfather and current guardian, as well as the previous Elemental of Air. When a dream lets him know that the next generation of Elementals is grouping, he waits until they’re all together and gives them the Elemental Pendants (excluding the Rainbow Star, which he did not have). He also is the keeper of the Book of Elements and acts as a role model and teacher for the Elementals. When Aster ends up homeless and alone, he willingly opens his heart and home for the young man. Due to him being basically everyone’s grandfather, everyone just calls him “Abuelo”
Takashi Nakamura (The Astral Lord): The corrupted Elemental of Ether who refused to give up his pendant and powers when the time came. Instead, he created the Astral Giants, combining his power with the elemental power of the Zodiac Stones, to take the other pendants. Most of his power had to be sealed away, as did each of the Giants. When the four Giants were unleashed, his full power would be restored. Despite Aster originally seeing him as a father, he only saw Aster as a creation, and not a real being. When his power was fully restored though, he couldn’t make Aster disappear. A grudge grew in his heart when Aster earned the Rainbow Star.
The Zodiac Pixies: tiny elemental pixies born from the Zodiac Stones. Each gives their respective Elemental a new power, and can combine into the Elemental Wands, which allow the Elementals to cast powerful individual finishers (and a REALLY powerful combined one). Four: Taurus, Scorpio, Libra, and Leo, were corrupted into the Astral Giants. (Note: the pixies only appear after Aster becomes the Elemental of Ether). The pixies are:
Aries (Girl, Fire): Flaming Blaze (surrounds Pyra in a bonfire that boosts her speed and power)
Taurus (Boy, Earth): Deafening Charge (Allows Terra to use the power of the Bull; creates fissure in her wake that traps enemies before finisher)
Gemini (1 Girl & 1 Boy, Air): Duplication Confusion (Replicates Aero hundreds of times over, giving him an advantage over the enemy)
Cancer (Boy, Water): Freezing Blades (Allows Hydro to form weapons of ice)
Leo (Boy, Fire): Royal Pride (Allows Pyra to use the power of the Lion; burns enemies into submission before finisher)
Virgo (Girl, Earth): Venus Innocence (Makes Terra irresistibly beautiful to draw enemies in for the attack)
Libra (Girl, Air): Total Justice (Allows Aero to use the power of Balance; creates a windstorm that traps enemies in their past misdeed before finisher)
Scorpio (Boy, Water): Tidal Shockwave (Allows Hydro to use the power of the Scorpion; washes over enemies and sweeps them off their feet before finisher)
Sagittarius (Boy, Fire): Burning Accuracy (Allows Pyra to shoot fire arrows that do not miss)
Capricorn (Girl, Earth): Diamond Toughness (Makes Terra temporarily invincible)
Aquarius (Boy, Air): Stormy Weather (Allows Aero to temporarily control a thunderstorm)
Pisces (Girl, Water): Sirenic Beauty (Turns Hydro into a merman and allows him to speak with sea life)
Items
The Elemental Pendants:
Five magical jewels that grant the power to control the elements. When released, they will come back to one of the previous Elementals and remain dormant until the new generation arrives. They will then let the Keeper know through dreams and other signs until they are given to their rightful owners. The include the Amethyst Cloud, the Ruby Flame, the Sapphire Raindrop, the Emerald Leaf, and the Rainbow Star
The Zodiac Stones:
Twelve elemental stoned imbued with the combined powers of Ether and one of the four other elements. They can be used to power up or defeat the Elemental of matching element should the need arise. They can also be corrupted into dangerous beings by the Elementals they match.
The Elemental Wands:
After the Zodiac Pixies reveal themselves, three of matching element combine to make the Elemental Wand matching their Elemental. This excludes Astro, whose wand only appears when the power of of the four other wands combines. Appearance-wise, they looked like their Elemental, with a jewel matching the Elemental Pendant at the tip.

Fiery Wand: Grants Supernova Left Hook
Watery Wand: Grants Tsunami Roundhouse
Earthy Wand: Grants Landslide Drop Kick
Starry Wand: Grants Galaxy Body Slam
Trivia
Being an Elemental is only supposed to be temporary. If one stays an Elemental too long, the power will twist their mind.
Abuelo and Takashi were once teammates, along with Daisy, Xerxes, and Nora.
Takashi, after his initial defeat, uses his leftover power to convince his former teammates to take back the pendants (he even turns Abuelo’s joy for his grandson into jealousy)
Though Takashi created him physically, Aster has memories of a time before being created.
Aster is the only Elemental not to be born human, or even by conventional means.
Sky has a troubled past with severe PTSD, resulting in his reclusive and distant personality.
Blaze has a “disappointing” older brother, so works twice as hard not to fall in the same impression.
River has three severely violent older brothers, one of whom is in prison for a life sentence.
Emerald had a twin sister who died of an incurable condition at a young age, causing her to ty to live life to its fullest.
Sky, from their first meeting, has a crush on Aster, and it develops into a mutual attraction as they begin to understand each other and their similarities.
River has a crush on Blaze but doesn’t know how to tell her. Blaze, on the other hand, has a crush on him and doesn’t know how to tell him.
Emerald knows about both crushes and finds it hilarious, but has been asked by both not to tell the other.
Emerald asexual and is in a happy, non-sexual relationship with a girl named Leah.

Ethan being in the TA when his dad’s birthday rolls around. He didn’t realise how much it meant to him until he couldn’t go because staying in the army was what his mother wanted
no because with the storyline I have for Ethan in my canon au, he's missed his father's birthday three times, though he was only aware of it as it happens twice.
The first time was when he first came to Camp Half-Blood, he'd been chased by a monster leaving school and stumbled upon a saytr who brought him to camp where he stayed for a year without contact with his father as he was afraid he'd be in trouble. One of the older campers COUGH luke COUGH had helped him make a little cupcake he deemed his father's birthday cake and stuck a little candle in it. It felt wrong to do nothing, after all.
The second time was between TTC and BoTL, he'd been in the Labyrinth and off course hadn't had the time or chance to check the date, not that it mattered much to him at the time. He'd dropped contact with his father after TLT when he left camp but had sent a letter for his birthday assuring he was safe. Regardless, he didn't realize he'd missed his father's birthday until two months later when he caught the date on a newspaper.
The third time was between BoTL and TLO. Technically, he could've gone for a few days, he had access to shadow travel and could be gone from the army for a day or two. But his mother was adamant on him joining and, frankly, he was afraid of what Kronos might do if he found out.

LOL well im glad you like him hes been on my brain a lot recently tbh
Takashi is the youngest of five kids, his eldest siblings are twins, his sister Izumi and his brother Kaede who are 5 years older then him, then his sister Himiko who's 3 years older and his brother Asuka whos 1 year older!
His mom passed when he was about seven, so he doesn't remember her very well, but what little memory he does have of her are all happy! Both his parents were very attentive to him and his siblings and tried their best to make sure they were happy :)
His sister, Izumi, is the only one who knows that Ethan is a demigod as her husband is a son of Fortuna 🤗
A mutual friend referred Ren to Takashis law firm when he was dealing with his lawsuit, which is how they met
Takashi was in school when he met Nemesis, she appeared as one of his classmates (academic rivals type beat) so you can imagine his surprise when he tried to talk to his classmate their lil adventure and he just goes "lol what" 💀
Ren asked him out to coffee after his lawsuit was settled as a way to thank him and Takashi had to go back and forth with Asuka insisting it wasn't a date (it was a date)
He didn't end up introducing Ren to Ethan as his partner (They'd met briefly because the two of them would talk ab the lawsuit at their houses occasionally) until about two months after they started dating, and they both agreed on a set time period to allow their children to adjust to the other, and if they didn't then they wouldn't continue dating because their kids will always come first 🤷♂️
Drew liked Takashi almost immediately LMAO

Takashi made it a point not to get have any interest in past, current or potential clients, it was an unspoken rule to himself. It would be weird, in his opinion. But frankly, he'd be lying to himself if Ren Tanaka didn't make him want to break that rule.

If Ren Tanaka and Takashi Nakamura were demigods, who would be their Divine parents?
For some reason, I am sure that Ren would be the legacy of Athena and son of Zeus, and Takashi, the legacy of Iustitia and son of Poseidon.
[Justitia, — ancient Roman goddess of justice, the personification of moral forces in the legal system and the Roman hypostasis of Themis. in modern realities, she is the patroness of judges, lawyers and enforcement agency].
If I were to be 100% honest if I made Ren a demigod I'd make him a legacy of Erato(The muse of love poetry) and son of Athena. He's a fashion designer and hes messed around with weaving before because he thought it would be a cool skill to learn :D
As for Takashi I like the legacy of Justitia :o I've never really put much thought into him being a demigod but I like son of Poseidon for him :D
