Strongly recommend going back and watching shows you loved but never finished. Currently watching Motherland: Fort Salem (didn't watch the last season the first time round) and going from "there's my babies!" to "holy shit, past me was stupid, the final season is wild! I'd die for these women" is truly a trip.

Final thoughts:

Raelle: The scrappiest of babies.

Scylla: The cutest terrorist that ever was.

Tally: My favourite fifth wheel.

Abigail: Using that stick up her ass for good.

Just finished the last episode and I already know I'll be rewatching again in the near future.

Just give Amalia Holm all the awards now!

In this scene alone, she was simply phenomenal.

I mean, the utter heartbreak on her face! She's just incredible.

Scylla is quickly having to process the very real possibility that she has actually lost Raelle; the LOVE OF HER LIFE.

That pain is entirely unbearable to her and she's just breaking apart right in front of our eyes, and yet even in the face of that reality in this moment she's desperately trying to put her own heartbreak about Raelle aside and apologise to her sisters for what she sees as letting them down.

I'm so happy that they understand she loves Raelle just as much as they do (arguably infinitely more so) so they don't blame her, they don't direct any anger towards her, they simply embrace and support her because I think in that instant she needed that even more than they would.

I really did love the story and (most of) the ending they were going for. All that motherland: Fort Salem needed was time. If they would've been given just a little more time to develop their plot points and give the characters closure this show would have excelled in every way possible.
