i just got into the final stage in the audition process for a professional choir ahhhhhh!!!!

#callbacks arent til the end of may but im so pumped #ive been singing since i was 7 and in various choirs/chamber choirs since i was 13 #went through 4 years of collegiate chamber choir with one of the best choral directors in the country #and now i might actually have a way in to making this my full-time career :') #im just really proud of myself ive worked so hard for so long to get to where i am now #teaandstars talks #personal

Dancetale Sans CvF Portrayals: Dance and Milkshake

Let’s recall Swap and Blueberry first. 

Blueberry Sans is a kawaii, cute, more Fanon-portrayed version of Underswap Sans.

We all know this, but I will rephrase this sentence with a different Sans.

Who is Milkshake, and why are the tags ‘milkshake sans’ and ‘milkshake!sans’ going to be a thing now...? 

Milkshake Sans is a continuously shaky, anxious, insecure to polite, soft, nerdy Dancetale Sans. His name is Milkshake because he is a dancing skeleton with scientific background like Sci, rattling bones, fidgets a lot with his hands, stuttery speech, can’t stand still or stop shaking his bones, and thinks he’s lactose intolerant when he isn’t, he hates the whiteness of milk in all kinds and refuses to drink it in cereal. He will fall for the milkshakes, milk teas, and other milk drinks as long as it doesn’t taste like plain, soy, almond, etc. milk and he’ll  finish it, so his bones will rattle less. This whole faking of lactose intolerance makes him very clumsy and unstable when walking, both mentally and physically. But, because of his soul, he never loses a single dance move (unless his sleep schedule wonks him up, he’s still a depresso), and makes little to no errors during choreography and dance contests.

I wanted to do a fanon take on him, because I been seeing mischaracterized versions of Dance. I know, it’s fun to take many views on a character, I shouldn’t be bothered but I want to improve him a bit more and make it somewhat how he should be portrayed on fanfics. If anyone questions how Dance should act in fanfics in a fanon way, they can read this post and use Milkshake.

On fan arts, Milkshake!Sans is...

* an arrogant flex on anyone 

* seen more as Dust in a different hoodie

* a dabber expert, which sent him to the corner when he was in PJDC. Additionally, he was great friends with Kinder!Fresh, and I find that underrated and a nice add-on. (Do not address Rouge about this.)

* a moonwalk expert

* not afraid to show his moves and will beat you in dance contests

* paired with Lust 

While Canon!Dance...

* is a shy and self-conscious dancer

* has most of Classic’s behavior with dancing for his soul

* would dab and moonwalk privately or to his close friends, not in a “mic drop exit” way UNLESS seen in dance performances. Since Classic has been seen doing the fortnite dance, then Dance has automatically adapted to all Fortnite, Baby Shark, Stickbug, Dance Distraction, and other meme dances the past few years.

* would hesitate to show his dance moves and attempt to change subject 

* refuses to dance to Anaconda and finds NSFW uncomfortable,,

He is easy to manipulate and bait, but he can get cautious to his surroundings overtime so be careful, he may bite through hardcore breakdancing and possibly kick ass on accident. He had experienced one too many genres of music, it caused his soul to beat faster, and had his bones rattling all day and everyday. It became a problem and worsened his preferences to take care of his hygiene and bones. 

To get closer to him, you have to be gentle and respectful. He has claustrophobia, so dancing in tight spaces could cause effects to the soul. Like Dancetale, his soul filled with love, hope, and compassion with a hint of joy is what makes him dance. He enjoys dancing, anywhere and anytime. He’s not afraid to show it next to the other Sanses.

time to find more about my favorite Sans AU, Dancetale <3 I been seeing less posts on Instant Graham, only 1.3k posts on the hashtag #dancetalesans. the AU came around 2016 by a filipino, teaandstars :) I have to find that reblogged post then go to the asks in the archive related to Dance

Dance!Sans keeps getting misinterpreted and I feel bad for him...

- gets mistaken to be seen as an arrogant Dust who dabs and moonwalks confidently

- wild party animal who crashes the party with his breakdancing

- rarely blushes

- not afraid to shout 

He is a lazy, flustered, shy hip hop sans with implied ADHD (”I dance with my hood on cause It helps me concentrate” “Dancetale is where Monsters have this DNA put into their soul that makes them resonate to dancing”) and I'm gonna find more facts about him. He was the first Sans AU wearing a different legwear than shorts. Instead, he wore sweatpants cause the creator thought it’d look good on him. Classic was theorized to have ADHD (I can give a link to the theory post) so Dance may have it too but the hypeactive-impulsvie type. And that’s nothing like the fan arts and fanfics I seen. 

I wanna fix this guy, make canon and fanon takes on him, and you don’t have to see him the same way since it has to do with an actual mental label. I’m not saying the ADHD is canon because Classic may have it, he’s just showing signs of it and it helped me build his fanon interpret, Milkshake (my fanon nickname for Dance like Swap’s fanon nickname is Blueberry). The DNA Soul fact is what makes me think it could be canon, but I'm not saying it’s canon.

im putting hip hop music as my research background music so I know what songs dance would like and I would animate him dancing to it (without ppl saying “yOu rUiNeD mY fAvOrItE sOnG” cause that's just sad)

I already put him in a hoodie trio with Epic and Dust, he is the only soft blue and Dust is the only non-filipino uwu
