fun fact: i used to do match ups once upon a time on a different platform! this is a match-up styled fic event—i match you up with a character based on preferences and you get your story!

this event is movie themed!! any film goes!

𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠?

from 8 am on tuesday, september 19th to 8 pm on tuesday, september 26th (cdt)! requests not finished within this time period or requests made right after will be considered overflow and will be finished after the event has ended! any other requests will be promptly ignored and deleted.

purchase your movie ticket of course! first, say what theater/venue you're going to!

aiia theater — haikyuu!! characters will star here! opera epiclese — genshin impact characters will star here! stellis film festival — tears of themis characters will star here! golden theater — honkai impact characters will star here!

next, specify what time you'll watch this movie!

12:00 — fluff. 15:30 — angst. 19:00 — hurt/comfort. 21:30 — slightly suggestive.

thirdly, kindly state the movie you're planning to watch! anything goes—i only ask the movie is not particularly inappropriate (i am a minor) and if the movie isn't particularly well-known or if you want a specific scene, provide a quote or just say it as it is!

then, please check out the concessions here for preferences! feel free to add as many as you'd like! of course, if you don't really care, you don't have to say anything!

(don't add this part if you choose to order candy! mass headcanon style requires a prompt of some sort!) though, to make it fun, you can keep to the theme of this event—list your favorite movies, celebrity crushes, favorite genres, etc! please specify your pronouns if needed, otherwise it would be written as they/them.

𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠?

from 8 am on wednesday, august 10th to 8 pm on wednesday, august 31st on cdt! requests made right before the deadline will still be done when the event is over and requests after the deadline will be ignored and deleted.

𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐢 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭?

first, say what kind of ticket are you “buying!” keep in mind, that i write for most of haikyuu!!, all of the tears of themis love interests + a few side characters, and most of genshin impact’s characters. for specifications, go here.

gala. - for haikyuu!!, this will be post-timeskip. the drabble will center around some work-related dance. prom. - for some characters in haikyuu!!, tears of themis characters, and some genshin impact characters, they will be aged down, depending on the request. the drabble will center around a high school!au theme in spring. homecoming. - for some characters in haikyuu!!, tears of themis characters, and some genshin impact characters, they will be aged down, depending on the request. the drabble will center around a high school!au or college!au theme in the fall/autumn. ball. - the drabble will center around a royalty/medieval!au.

along with your ticket, you’re able to get a corsage, which mostly figures with what sort of character “you” are going to be! you can choose more than one, but i’d advise a maximum of two to make things less confusing.

rose. - for tears of themis, the reader will be read as rosa/mc. inteyvat. - for genshin impact, the reader will be read as the traveler. forget-me-not. - a reincarnated!reader. silk flower. - a royal!reader sweet flower. - a serf!reader calla lily. - stranger-to-lover!reader daffodil. - best friend-to-lover!reader dandelion. - best friend!reader snapdragon. - enemy-to-lover!reader chrysanthemum. - lover!reader

third, a boutonniere. though these are in the form of quote prompts, they most likely wouldn’t be in the story. however, they’re more like a guide for me on how to write it! unlike the last category, you can’t choose more than one.

dendrobium. - “just because some idiot ditched you doesn’t mean that i will!” delphinium. - “let’s just pretend we know each other… my parents are watching.” ranunculus. - “i can’t help but notice that you’re sitting here all by your pretty self. care to explain?” rosemary. - “i don’t see nobody but you.” sweet pea. - “may i have the pleasure of sharing this last dance?” bird of paradise. - “let’s blow this joint, yeah?” larkspur. - “first come, first serve!” anemone. - “i… i still love you.” dahlia. - “you’re the bane of my existance, and the object of my desires.” apple blossom. - “at least you’re the only interesting one here.” belladonna. - “there’s no way you’re expecting me to like anyone else but you here.”

hmm? what’s this… ah, how convenient! a little tag that already has the “from” signed with your name beside it! it looks rather similar to your signature… anyways, not-so subtle roleplaying aside, it seems as though you need a partner for this. to whom this may concern? remember, it can be anyone from haikyuu!!, genshin impact, and tears of themis as long as it fits in my guidelines!

finally, just a quick note: if needed, please specify your pronouns! otherwise, it’ll be written with they/them pronouns.
