Hi I just wanted to pop in & say that I love Xeno very much and xe would probably get along or at least relate to my oc Doc, who had a good majority of their body consumed by an eldritch parasite which now resides on/in their body feeding off of them. (It has grown to be a tense but mutual agreement wherein the parasite mimics the body that Doc lost in exchange for food, but both are constantly holding the threat of death over eachother.) They’d do science together I think

Ethan: Unintentional flirt but I suppose Subtle Flirting is the closest. He has a dry wit, which can be appealing to some (aka Cassie). When he puts his mind to it, he is very successful, but he also doesn't have the patience for it.

Sienna: She's a mix of Sincere and Polite flirting. She pays attention, active listening, eye contact and compliments. She's all about building deeper connection, but Max brings out her playful side.

Cassie and Max: The twins are very flirty and always have been. It just comes naturally to them (and often gets them into trouble). Their styles are a mix of playful, physical and witty.

13. What was the most surprising thing they learned about one another once they started dating?

Ethan was surprised by how much Cassie treasured her alone time and quiet time. He always assumed she was an extrovert who needed people around her. But she likes the balance and is happy to stay home and read or watch TV. Cassie was surprised that Ethan enjoys cuddling on the couch (or in bed) and feeling connected physically. Physical touch is one of his love languages.

Max and Sienna knew each other extraordinarily well before they started dating because they had been friends for so many years. As such, there weren't any major surprises. Still, Sienna was surprised by how serious he could be, and seeing him in his world was eye-opening. Max was equally surprised by her stubbornness.

Cassie often borrows Ethan's old tee shirts and refuses to give them back. He thinks she looks better in them anyway. Sienna tends to sleep in Max's shirts when he's traveling. She also borrows his old college hoodies when she's chilling at home.

Cassie wasn't allowed to have pets for the longest time because they would run away. But one day, in the distant future, she'll have Watson (who technically belongs to her children). You can read about that here.

Max gets Sienna a Westie for her birthday, which she named Bailey. I did a text fics/edit about that here. Bailey is the sweetest dog. I haven't decided if they will have more pets. They have four kids and busy careers/lives. But I hc that Amelia (the third child) likes animals and will convince her parents to get her a cat.

A new face

*One and a half months later* I've been rationing my rations. Been doing well I think. I've had my distress beacon going this entire time. But this bucket of bolts only has fifty feet of range! You would see the damn ship with your eyes before you got my beacon. Well… no use getting worked up. Will only starve faster. I'm eating my last ration. My stomach roars like an angry Wookiee. Then I see it… or rather them. A regal looking Mandalorian woman atop a majestic golden basilisk war droid. I'm in awe. I've never seen one, let alone expected to! The Republic made the Mandalorians of the old Republic dismantle their basilisk war droids after the Mandalorian wars! She says: "I have a gift for you, Mando'adeika open loading ramp. I don't hesitate to do so. I close all the doors so I don't depressurize my ship. I go to the ramp and open pull the lever, lowering it. She pushes a box of rations, a case of fuel… and a credit chit? I bow to her "I'm very grateful to you… um… who are you?" She doesn't turn around and says: "if we meet again, I will tell you. If not, it doesn't matter." Then she jumps towards her basilisk, and says: "you are powerful in the force, careful to not let it consume you." She grabs onto her basilisk and points to a space station. "Your destiny lies there. If you hurry, you may find what you're looking for." Then she flies off.

I finish refueling, and I fly to the station. "What I'm looking for? What does she mean by that?" I'm being hailed by the station, and I press answer. "Unidentified ship, state your business or be on your way." I reply with: "I'm low on fuel and I may need some repairs and replenish my ships ammo." Some time passes before they say: "go to hanger 4-D, unidentified ship, you may want to name your ship while you're here. Other places won't suspect you're a pirate or smuggler." I dock with 4-D, and I get out. Before I can go anywhere else, a rodian in a jumpsuit with grease and tools around. She says: "Greetings Mando, let's get that docking fee out of the way, shall we?" I pull my credit chit out and hope that Mandalorian put enough on it… "five hundred credits and you're free to explore or whatever you want." It transfers to the mechanic. My new total is… 4,500? Damn. Thanks mystery Mando! I tell her, "Could you also paint my ship? With a black Mythosaur skull and red on the top of the ship and 80% red and 20% black on the bottom of the ship? And I would like to name it The Crimson Raven." "Right away Mando!" She says with a smile.

I walk away and I see three dudes harassing a purple twilek. I hear her whisper "help me" the big dude in the middle says: "nobody's gonna help you girl, not a single person has the balls to mess with us or-" his rant is interrupted by the sound of durasteel hitting the fork in between his legs. He falls and I say: "and you don't have any at all" and before the others can pull their blasters out of the holsters, I shoot them dead in the head. Then without looking, I shoot the big one on the floor. I holster both Vengeance and Justice, and I ask a very important question: "Are you alright?" The Twilek answers: "Yes, thank you… you should get out of here… their friends will be here soon." She says with a sad face, looking at the floor. I say: "Then it seems like you're not saved yet." She looks surprised and says: "Wait what?" "I said-" my stomach growls "can we talk over some food? I'm quite literally starving. Is there a restaurant on this station?" She says: "Yeah… follow me. And keep your eyes up! Not that I can see them" I reply with: "Of course, lead the way." We come to the restaurant, and the Twilek says: "I don't know what it says. But the food is good." "I look up and it's in huttese. "Bitchin Buggs' Bar." I say. "Really?" She looks confused. "Yeah. It's in huttese." She just shrugs her shoulders and we walk in.

Goldilock's basically my personification of the person I hope to be some day. Selfless and resourceful, using her circumstances to make her tiny impact on the world a good one. In the Mentor!Orik AU she's a shoulder to lean on for Orik and little Armilly, and does all she can to make their lives better. However she knows she has limits and boundaries of her own and that there are some problems that she just can't solve. she's also very strong because I want to be very strong and buff someday

this has been mentioned before but her family is slightly wealthy (Many of them are blacksmiths, her grandmother is the one that crafted her golden lock of hair). This has landed her in a rather fortunate spot; she was able to achieve her dream of moving to the woods and living in a cozy cabin. This is not her only goal, however; she eventually opens a stable to take care of folks' horses (which will be mentioned in a fic eventually so shhhh ;D). She funds this by supporting the family business: she lives in close proximity to Darkfrost Ridge and mines whatever precious minerals and valuable ore she can get her hands on, shipping it to her family's smithy.

Goldilock is very good at accidentally intimidating every new person she meets. With her massive size it's hard for her to not be scary at first glance lol. She also struggles with coming to terms that there are some things she just can't fix.

uhhhh I can't think of anything else that doesn't spoil things (aside from things that you know at least :P) so some random things now:

-I originally made her demi panromantic but after thinking on it a bit, she's definitely aro/ace. Another thing that's like me lol -She has a braid on the back of her head! I just never draw her from the back so I haven't really had a reason to draw it yet lol -Very warm and cuddly and gives good hugs -She played the guitar growing up and will still occasionally play it when she's by herself or when she thinks someone needs it -loves loves LOVES wind. Loves the way it makes her jacket billow around, loves the way it tussles her hair, loves how it feels on her face. -plays with her hair when she's anxious -She gives little Armilly a LOT of piggyback rides. She also gives Armilly a LOT of cocao

Does the story (or stories) involving your OCs have a title?

not- technically?? 8)" sometimes i call it "godseed", but im not set on that. what i mainly have is a disorganized collection of funky guys who could probably each stand as their own short story, a sense of how they might bounce off each other, and bonkers worldbuilding that either ties it all together or makes it 10x more confusing, i can't tell.

im not sure how to explain the concept in its entirety except "cosmic horror, but make it found family/group therapy"?

it's also worth mentioning that i'm constructing a portion of it off of the shenanigans of a private RP server, with some close friends who i’m comfortable collaborating with. which, of course means juggling how to adapt creations that aren’t mine. Mod Bee: Okay time to work on the next arc pag-

//Basically I got a Tornado warning where I live so I  wasn’t able use my computer ‘til it passed. I ended up doodling my Kindergarten PMD team and then I drew what I thought the other kiddos would be.

Explanation/Rambling for why I chose these pokémon undercut:

Kid (Mudkip) I think I explained this in my last post but I chose Mudkip for Kid because i mostly saw him as a water type ,though psychic could work also cause timeloop stuff, but to be honest I mostly did it for the pun, Mudkid. 

Nugget (Meowth) I originally wanted him to be a Psyduck cause I thought that’d fit more, but the game wouldn’t let me chose it cause kid was a water type rip, though I do also like the idea of Nugget being Meowth (100% would replace the coin on Mewoth’s head with a Nugget)

Cindy (Shiny Maractus) I was going to go for a pokémon like Glameow or smoochem, but the second I remembered Shiny Maractus, and how the color pallet reminded me of Cindy I just had to go for it.  (also because I actually have a shiny Maractus that i named Cindy lol)

Lily and Billy (Espurr) I thought this fit them not just because Espurr is adorable, but also because Espurr is a psychic type and the fact Lily and Billy were able to immediately piece together the truth behind the new school so quickly I thought it was perfect for them.

Felix and Ted (Minun and Plusle) I was stumped on these two for a longer time then I’d like to admit, I was close to not even drawing them as pokémon until my dumbass remembered Minun and Plusle existed and it fit perfectly, color wise and the fact Ted and Felix are complete opposites.

Carla (Zorua) I wanted to go for a sneaky kid of pokemon, cause of the fact Carla can sneak stuff past Penny (a literal android) and I thought Zorua fit pretty nicely with Carla. 

Ozzy(Poliwag) I actually picked two for Ozzy. I knew immediately I wanted Ozzy to be a water type, I went with poliwag because Poliwag doesn’t really like walking a lot, and I thought that’d fit with Ozzy because he has asthma and Probably doesn’t like walking too much either.  Though I do also see him being Froakie as well, since Froakie’s pokedex entry talks about how the bubbles protect it’s skin from attacks. and since Ozzy hates germs I thought that’d be pretty fitting as well.

Jerome(Litleo) Okay this one’s a bit complicated but I picked litleo for Jerome because, Lions are cool don’t @ me, but mostly because Litleo’s pokedex entry is,“They set off on their own from their pride and live by themselves to become stronger. These hot-blooded Pokémon are quick to fight.” and it kind of reminded me of how Jerome was really upset about his dad dying and now he’s by himself, and how he was quick to lash out at Kid and Lily when finding out they were the reason he was gone. 

Penny (Shiny Phantump) OKAY HEAR ME OUT, I didn’t go down the electric type cause robot idea for penny, It’s because Phantump are actually the spirits of dead kids, and I couldn’t get the idea out of my mind cause it fits with how Penny died and came back to “life”, also i made her a Shiny Phantump because I thought it’d be cute.

(Though i will say if I were to pick a ‘Robot’ pokemon for Penny Shiny Porygon-Z would work well)

(also cause i thought it’d be funny if Cindy was mad at her ‘cause she’s not the only shiny Pokemon anymore lol)

Buggs (Mankey) Surprise! I didn’t make him a bug type pokémon, despite how much I wanted to TvT a lot of the bug types I felt didn’t fit bugs that well? So i decided to go for Mankey, cause according to their pokedex entries they are pretty quick to anger them. 

Monty (Charjabug) Okay. This is mostly because when I first saw charjabug I didn’t think the little guy would evolve into something that’d be intimidating as hell (Vikavolt) and It sort of relates to the feeling I felt when i found out Monty made his wheel chair INTO A DEATH RAY. 

(Also the death ray fits with Vikavolt’s pokedex entry “It zips around, on sharp lookout for an opening. It concentrates electrical energy within its large jaws and uses it to zap its enemies.”)

Alice (Skitty) besides the fact I can’t unsee Alice being a skitty, one of the pokedex entries for skitty is “It is said to be difficult to earn its trust...” and I imagine Alice being a little distant and reserved with the other kids (especially when taken away from her school and put in a underground lab) So Maddison and Ron would earn her trust since their all stuck down their together.

Maddison (Shiny Petilil) Didn’t really have a deep reason as to why I picked petilil for Maddison, I just thought the design fit her pretty well, and also because I headcanon Maddison to be a very headstrong person, so imagining a tiny Petilil saying “you mess with my friend’s i’ll kick your ass” to someone who’s bigger than her (*cough* principal *Cough*) is a funny thing to imagine.

Ron (Trapinch) Same reason as Maddison, mostly because I thought the design fit, Also Idk I feel like Ron is one of those kids who love dragons and fantasy stuff and since Trapinch evolves into Flygon(a dragon type) that it’d work pretty well. (Bit off topic but Ron would probably be a D&D player when he’s older)
