(which just so happens to be my favorite band in the ever) the album is considered by many to be the first death metal album, however this is somewhat controversial, as the album “seven churches” by Possessed which was released earlier could also be considered death metal (its more thrash in my opinion with its faster tempo and shredding style and the drum part tho) so i think scream bloody gore is the first death metal album also i think it sounds way better its so fun to listen to!!!!!! whichever album - scream bloody gore, or seven churches - u consider to be the first death metal album, either way the ENTIRE GENRE of death metal is named after one of them. The last song in seven churches is called “death metal”, and the band that made scream bloody gore is called death. it is about that last one sort of but it's not, because it's not about deserving as a punishment or prize for specific actions at all

it's about community, and it's about choice. it's about identity and finding a place to fit. it's about finding even one small little bit of a glint of light in the pit of despair and holding to it, preserving it, being able to to say this darkness isn't all that there ever is or was (life used to mean something on this ship). it's about awkward hurdles and having to do the uncomfortable hard work of sitting with yourself, looking at yourself, all for the desire to grow, to breathe easier.

it's about change! not just the natural change and growth that sort of comes with being human and existing in the world at any stage in life, but active change. like, WANTING and CHOOSING to change, choosing every day to commit to the change you want to make to yourself-- for better or for worse, in the end.

it's about middle grounds and trauma and moving forward and figuring out what you need and how that may or may not reconcile with what the people you care about the most may need.

Sometimes I think about Steven Universe Malachite discourse and like. wow, people were really killing each other over cartoons, and I witnessed it. And also picked a side.

#fitiaposting #Anyways my thoughts on it is that sometimes SU had a hard time balancing the consistency of its story with the messages it wanted to send #due to the nature of it being a children's cartoon with a very didactic narrative. #Malachite was possibly the worst example of it because at the end of the day I think it's stupid to pretend that the intention of Alone At #Sea wasn't that Jasper was supposed to be the ''abuser'' in that situation trying to manipulate her ''victim'' back into their toxic #relationship. That being said what we actually saw play out canonically was Lapis -- someone inarguably much more powerful than Jasper who #we've seen best a character Jasper LOST to with incredible ease. while nursing a cracked gem and waterbending the entirety of the Earth's #oceans at once -- imprisoning a gem out of spite and vengeance at the bottom of the ocean so she had someone to take her anger out on. #Lapis... pretty obviously had the power in that situation. Hell even admits in Alone at Sea that she enjoyed taking everything out Jasper. #The episode however give Jasper the Walking Red Flag framing you'd find in a ''how to spot an abuser'' PSA so we could have our ''Toxic #relationships are bad kids don't get back together with your shitty ex'' moment. #So it's a bit frustrating because what the writing wants you to ultimately take away from the situation kind of goes against what we all #canonically witnessed... and then it created a massive flame war between people who prioritized reading the Tone of the actual episode vs #people who cared about the consistency of what we'd actually seen depicted so far. #When I think the actual conclusion that should've been taken was ''Maybe Alone at Sea is a poorly written episode and Malachite got an #unsatisfying conclusion actually''

There is a technical issue of I don't really have base versions of the flags? If I need a six stripe flag I just recolor a different six stripe flag. I also just use a little app on my phone so I can make em at work and I'm not sure what I can save it as that would be helpful?

And my poor justification for this is there aren't really a lot of pride pixel heart designs at least like that have a lot of them I can only think of one user whose name I can't remember whose hearts have a white shine to them? So a part of me wants more different styles, maybe with a different shine shape or brighter colors or sparkles or a little bigger or smaller.

But deep down the reason is just I want to make them and the idea of missing out on making one because someone else did is irrationally devastating and I don't wanna be an ass and outshine them by making it myself and posting it here. Kinda of like imagine you are putting a puzzle together and having fun. You are enjoying the hell out of the challenge, especially a particularly hard part it's exciting! and then you come home one day, and that part has been done by your roommate because they wanted to help and thought you were struggling. You say thank you because you don't wanna be an ass but you don't really wanna do the puzzle anymore because it doesn't feel like your puzzle.

God this is such a rambly way to say no but I'm not gonna stop you from saving and editing them but until I can get over this weird possessiveness towards the project and the part of my brain that is screaming "but I can make it for you!!" Like really, you actually think a small group of people almost entirely from one country should be able to act as an international military intervention team with zero legal obligations?
