okay heres the most basic stuff in tcox so you understand my posts a little bit:

Basically it's a fantasy world where magic is given to its inhabits through large gems. these gems are one of a kind and reside in each kingdom/city, one per city. each is a different element. the story begins when these gems begin to go missing. three teenage girls end up traveling together and uncovering the mystery behind the missing gems as they attempt to save the magic that is so important to their world.

persephone zoruxaithe: one of the main characters. a demon princess, granddaughter of satan. very sweet and cheerful, smart, empathetic. harbors fire magic from the bloodstone. she has an abnormally long tail and very small wings due to a birth defect. she believes that anyone can be a good person, they just have to choose so. she sees the good in everyone and is a strict pacifist [at least for the first book. once she becomes the ruler of infranalis she hardens herself a little. she understands that in order to defend herself she may have to hurt people sometimes]

lupin zoruxaithe: a little boy that persephone adopts in the later books. hes around 12 but due to trauma he acts much younger a lot of the time like around 7. hes very sweet but quite brazen and determined. i havent worked out his story much but i know he runs away from home and demands to see persephone so she can teach him fire magic. he says its so he can protect himself against his parents. lalalala plot plot plot and persephone ends up adopting him

claudia shiakryx: one of the main characters. a catperson from the village of mao, home of the shadowcats. she harbors a special type of magic, the element of shadow. only shadowcats can possess this, and only certain ones of them even can. these special people are called "shadowmasters" they are quite rare and one hasn't existed for centuries. claudia is the first shadowmaster in a long time, as a result, her village greatly fears her. the magic is very powerful and scary. due to a strategy in her past, claudia is very cold, stoic, and mean. she takes this on to scare people anyway and prevent them from trying to make friends with her, but persephone does anyway. She means a lot to me and I put a lot of work and care into her character and story and arc. shes nonbinary btw she/he . OH ALSO! after a battle injury at the end of book 1 she gives herself a vantablack prosthetic arm made of pure shadows.

zakr: claudia's diagon. i will explain what a diagon is later but when claudia fuses with him in the later books, she gets horns and a dragon tail and a lion's mane and its super fucking cool

seafoam ariavera: one of the main characters. a heiress from a rich underwater kingdom named Azulis. she's a great white shark siren, a deep sea creature known mostly for their strength and nasty personalities. sirens are often rude selfish cruel and outright murderous. seafoam isn't much of an exception to this, but she feigns a cheerful and positive personality to catch people off guard. when the story begins, she'd run off to the surface to avoid her coronation as queen of Azulis on her 18th birthday, which is when she meets Persephone and agrees to travel with her. she actually doesn't have any magic, despite many attempts to get her to resonate with the Aquamarine of Azulis, it repeatedly rejected her. however she is an asset to the team due to her brute strength. shes 6'4 and VERY VERY strong she has huge muscles and stuff. tcox relies heavily on character arcs and conflict, one of the main lessons is that anyone can be a good person. seafoam is no exception to this! she goes thru a massive character arc.

jack zoruxaithe: satan. persephone's grandfather. a wonderful great man who loves his people and his wife and granddaughter. he's a manlet in demon standards, like 6'0 (his wife is 6'7 for reference). he has giant horns giant wings long big tail .. he has a goatee and black hair. he's basically a dilf. he created the hellhounds as well as the first generation of demons (he's the father of all demonkind basically) he

created infranalis as a whole. ykno. he's satan. the devil. idk what else to say

xenrya zoruxaithe: persephone's grandmother, jack's wife. you don't see much of her, or jack for that matter, in book 1. I cant say much about her without spoiling everything. so. uhm. ya... shes rly tall

enya & haze shiakryx: claudia's parents. they were killed by a monster when she was 13. they were wonderful parents and taught her to embrace her powers and stuff. theyre just normal shadowcats but were told by a psychic before claudia was born that'd she'd be a powerful shadowmaster and to treat her with care. so they read as much as they could about shadow magic & shadowmasters

nepnia ariavera: seafoam's mother and the queen of azulis until the end of book 1, when her daughter takes the throne. she's a good mother, or as good of a mother as she can be when youre royalty i guess. its complicated. oh she has 200 sons as well! basically, with royal blood of the sirens, girls are very rare and sirens have large clutches of eggs at a time so she ended up with 200 sons and 2 daughters. azure and seafoam. more about azure at a later date, im still working on her character and yes she named all her kids after shades of blue and green mind ur business

miyako kitsuane: a nine-tailed fox from the lucky village. nine tailed foxes in xuphania are seen as very lucky and powerful so many travelers give offerings to the citizens of the lucky village. except the local outcast, miyako. she is said to have extremely bad luck, and after she caused massive damage to the village as a result, she was exiled, and is now just roaming. she meets the girls and helps them for a brief time. she gets a big crush on claudia. i havent decided entirely on what shes all about and what her character arc will be but shes a funnie little foxgirl

layla anastastia: the first vampire to come into existence. shes the queen of the vampires and resides in bloodrain castle in Sylvania. shes very flirty and manipulative, but not evil, really. she cares greatly for her people and will go to any lengths to protect them, including committing war crimes! (war of sylvania and faeiria, 258 years ago) anyway she and seafoam have canonically fucked. layla gets a strange fixation on seafoam when their journey brings them to bloodrain castle.

nydia aster: a witch that lives in the phantom everwoods, a large spiraling forest that no adventurers have ever reemerged alive from. shes basically a strange psychic old lady that helps the girls on their journey. she sees the future and knows things she shouldn't know.

vikith: an absolutely fucking weird guy. i dont even know how to begin describing him... hes a minor antagonist in the story and works for the big bad. hes a very weird mysterious dude and nobody even knows what his species is. he has strange powerful chaotic magic and can cast illusions, place people into trances, teleport, float.... hes very similar to MLP discord but as a sexyman. he has a masquerade motif and his mansion is even called the masuqerade mansion. he has a special power where he creates tailored masqurade masks that once put on, places the wear into a deep tranced hypnotic state where they dance forever, only stopping to follow vikith's orders. over time the wearer's face disappears, and even if the mask is somehow removed, they can never be recovered. hes funny and smug and morally corrupt and loves money. he is a recurring character though. after he fails to subdue the girls and place them in trances (persephone's will was too strong), it seems like the big bad killed him for failing but truthfully he was able to escape, however she placed a bounty on his head and he can't return home due to the bounty hunters staking out his house. so in book 2 he actually helps persephone, if only to save his own skin. ANYWAY THIS IS WAY TOOMUCH INFO I JUST REALLY LIKE VIKITH HES SO FUCKING FUNNY.... he wears a top hat cape suit masqerade mask has shark teeth carries a funny little staff and also floats btw.

casanorian vidia: the first seraph to come into existence.

basically god except he didnt create the universe, just his realm, Enivid, which is heaven. except it's just the birthplace of seraphs and not where you go when you die. it's complicated. his wife was murdered by a demon thousands of years ago which caused him to become embittered and seal off enivid, putting a test in place that will only allow beings of pure hearts to enter. HOWEVER.... a deep conspiracy within the seraph's ranks quickly unfold that he is completely oblivious too as he's blinded with grief. stay tuned.

nevia vidia: casnorian's wife who came into existence at the same time as him. he regards her and remembers her very highly describing her as the love of his life, his other half, etc. she was a very sweet and loving person that adored the surface world. she and him would often visit xuphania. she loved flowers and animals.

honia teaie: the first seraph that casanorian created, his first in command, royal advisor, etc etc. his go-to girl basically. they are very very close after being friends for millenia. little does Nora know that his best friend, who he thought he could always trust, is behind the whole conspiracy...

there's more I want to say but I've written a lot already and its 2 am. ill explain more world stuff tomorrow

AAAA !!! I came across ur blog and read ur kiibouma dialogue fic thing and decided ur amazing lol. If you're still doing this thing, can i suggest a prompt? (Kokichi: "I'm perfectly fine, you dork! Better than ever-" (thump) Kiibo: "Kokichi?! Hey, Kokichi, are you okay?") The situation here being that kokichi has been in mega investigation mode and therefore due to lack of sleep became so tired that he fainted and kiibo takes it upon himself to take care of him. Again, thank u so much ilyyy !!!

I’m sorry for filling this prompt really late! But here it is! It’s slightly canon divergent btw, I hope you won’t mind ;v;)

Somehow, when dividing into pairs for exploring the new areas, it has become an unspoken rule that Kiibo and Ouma are paired off together. Every single time, without fail.

Kiibo didn’t want to think too badly of his peers, so he chalked it up to everyone trusting that only he could put up with the supreme leader’s unpredictable behavior without possibly harming the other. However, he couldn’t seem to forget Ouma’s words regarding this matter.

“Nishishi! That’s because we’re both outcasts! It’s only fitting to pair us off since nobody wants to be around us.”

‘Outcasts, huh…’ The android directed his attention to the supreme leader’s small back. The latter was humming an unknown tune while he led the way. They’ve been paired off for so long, that observing the enigmatic Ultimate became a past time of his. And knowing Ouma, he’s probably been doing the same thing to him, just that he was a lot better at being discreet.

It wasn’t that he disliked being paired off with someone as chaotic as Ouma. When it all comes down to it, he was highly skilled and efficient when it comes to investigating. He would search every nook and cranny the android wouldn’t have thought to inspect. Kiibo admired this side of him. When he displays his intellectual and far more thoughtful side–unfortunately, the supreme leader would use that very same intellect to find ways to tease him.

“Mmm! A dead end, huh,” Kiibo paused in his steps upon the supreme leader’s sudden declaration. As if to prove his point, Ouma made a show of knocking on the wall that’s very much blocking their pathway.

“We better go back and explore the other rooms then,” the albino offered, watching the shorter Ultimate knock on the wall as he pressed an ear against it. “Umm…Ouma-kun?”

“Shh. I’m busy.”

Kiibo behind the raven-haired teen awkwardly, unsure with what to do. He wasn’t exactly equipped with tools and functions meant for exploration like an x-ray vision of some sort. However, Ouma did praise him for his zooming function, which still left him flustered whenever he remembered the memory. He still couldn’t understand why being praised by the leader gave him a sense of accomplishment, but–now’s not the time to think about these kinds of things.

Ouma pulled away from the wall with a sigh, “Nothing. Just a boringly solid wall. Let’s go check out the other rooms.”

“Alright. The hallway got darker since the sun started setting. I’ll be using my flashlight function, so please walk ahead of me.”

“Sunset already? What time is it?” the supreme leader started walking ahead of the android, prompting the latter to activate his function just as promised.

“Half past five,” the android dutifully responded.

“Hmmm. We’re checking out one last room then head back for dinner,” Ouma made a swift turn to the right, losing his footing as he did so. “Ah–”

“Ouma-kun–!” the android grabbed the leader by his arm.

“I’m perfectly fine you dork! Better than ever!” Ouma huffed, shrugging off the albino’s arm. “Now stop looking at me, your eyes are too bright.”

“Ah, sorry…” Kiibo averted his eyes from the leader, luckily there was still enough light for the latter to be able to see where he’s going even though the light wasn’t focused on him.

THUD!

“O-Ouma-kun?” the android rushed to the unconscious teen’s side, cradling the latter in his arms. “Ouma-kun? Hey, are you okay?”

No response.

Kiibo hovered two fingers above the unconscious supreme leader’s mouth, relieved to feel the latter’s warm breath waft against his appendages. “Good, he’s breathing…” He adjusted his hold on Ouma, wrapping one of his arms over his shoulder and used his free arm to support the leader’s back. Once everything was secure, he began walking towards the exit. It was like participating in a three-legged race with an unconscious partner. Luckily, Ouma wasn’t awfully heavy, so he still managed to walk their weight outside of the school building and into the dormitory.

‘The courtyard and the dormitory seem rather desolate…perhaps the others had more fruitful discoveries compared to Ouma-kun and I…?’ Kiibo readjusted his grip on the leader once it was time to climb the staircase. This was one of the downsides of having their rooms on the second floor. To his disappointment, Ouma’s room was left unlocked, but it was something he already expected from the leader.

He carefully balanced his and the other boy’s weight before reaching out to twist the knob of his door. Thankfully his room was located right next to his unconscious companion’s, so he didn’t have to go through the trouble of climbing down the staircase again. Gravity would have made things difficult for them both.

He gently laid the raven-haired Ultimate on his seldomly used bed before tugging the latter’s scarf off to prevent any possibility of asphyxiation. He folded the checker-patterned scarf into a neat square and placed it by the pillow before making quick work of Ouma’s shoes, placing the footwear on the floor neatly as soon as he was finished.

“I’m surprised he still managed to sleep through the entire trip, I wasn’t even that graceful either,” Kiibo rested his hands on his hips. “In any case, I should make sure he isn’t coming down with something.” He headed for his bathroom in quick strides to wash his hands before grabbing a towel from the rack. He let it soak under running water before wringing the excess water out of the cloth.

‘The area was rather dusty…the least I could do is clean him up. I just hope he won’t mind me touching his face without permission…’ thought the android before dabbing the sleeping Ultimate’s face with the wet towel. He washed the towel as soon as he was finished with his ministrations and dragged a chair next to his bed.

“It doesn’t seem like he’s sick…so that only leaves exhaustion…” he narrowed his eyes at Ouma’s unusually vulnerable form. “…He did run around a lot this morning…but I doubt that alone is the cause. He never passed out like this before…”

Bing! Bong!

Kiibo’s ahoge perked up in shock, “Ah, just a moment!” He called out softly, so as not to wake his companion. He shuffled out of his seat as silently as possible before answering the door. “…Saihara-kun?”

“Kiibo-kun…! So you were here…” the detective heaved out a relieved sigh, shoulders slumping a little as the tension washed off of his body. “We were supposed to meet up in the dining hall to discuss our findings over dinner, remember? I was looking for you and Ouma-kun in your designated area but couldn’t find you anywhere. I wasn’t too sure where Ouma-kun would be either, so I thought that your room would be my best bet.”

He did remember their arrangement–but the thought of leaving Ouma behind without supervision didn’t sit well with him at all. “About Ouma-kun…”

“…Did he do something during your investigation?” Saihara looked at him with concern. The leader really was quite a handful, so Kiibo couldn’t fault his peers for being uneasy around the trickster.

“Ah, no, he didn’t–!” Kiibo dismissively wave a hand. “…Actually, he’s laying down in my bed at the moment. He passed out during our investigation, so I had to rush him to my room since his room was locked.”

“He...fainted? Is he okay?” golden eyes widened in astonishment.

Kiibo responded with a nod. “That’s why I wasn’t able to head to the dining hall. I didn’t want to leave him all alone. Have you started exchanging information already?”

Saihara shook his head, his ahoge bobbing with his every movement. “Not yet. We were waiting for everyone to arrive, but since you and Ouma-kun didn’t…I decided to come look for you.”

“I see…” Kiibo took a glance of the sleeping boy before redirecting his attention to the detective. “I’m sorry, but it is against my morals to leave Ouma-kun sleeping in my room alone with no one to watch over him. I can, however, tell you our findings as of today, just so we won’t breach our agreement in its entirety. I would also like to request you to relay everyone’s findings to me tomorrow, just so Ouma-kun and I wouldn’t be left in the dark.”

“Ah, right… I understand.”

It didn’t take long for the android to give the detective a quick rundown of the findings considering their investigation was incomplete and that they weren’t able to find anything as of yet. Saihara nodded along during his explanation before excusing himself. Kiibo didn’t think too much of it, since it was only natural that he’d be in a rush to return to the dining hall with everyone else. He returned to his seat by the bedside, heaving out a sigh as he sank in the chair.

“I didn’t make the wrong decision,” he murmured to himself, glancing at the raven-haired Ultimate from his peripherals. “…We’re both outcasts. The least we could do was look out for each other right?” He closed his eyes.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Aquamarine lenses snapped open at the sound. “…Ah, I slipped into sleep mode without realizing…”

Knock. Knock. Knock.

“Yes? Ah, Toujou-san?” Kiibo eyed the tray in the maid’s hands.

“Pardon for the intrusion,” she bowed. “Saihara-kun requested me to bring some dinner for Ouma-kun after informing us of his condition. The dinner I prepared for him is rich with nutrients that would aid him in his recovery.”

“I see!” Kiibo accepted the tray with awe. “Thank you for the trouble. I’ll make sure he eats this.”

Toujou did a little curtsy, “It is my duty as a maid to fulfill the requests I’ve accepted. You may leave the tray outside of your room after he eats it. I’ll pick it up in the morning.”

“Ah, you don’t have to. I can wash it myself,” Kiibo shook his head a little. “You’ve done so much for everyone for the past few days. Let me do at least this much.”

“I see…if you insist, then I shall leave it to you, Kiibo-kun,” the maid flashed him an elegant smile before taking her leave.

Kiibo carefully shut his door with his foot before placing the tray on his desk. “Dinner is best eaten while hot…I’ll feel bad about it, but I have to wake him up…” he sighed.

He placed both of his hands on Ouma’s shoulders and gave him a gentle shake. “Ouma-kun, Toujou-san brought you dinner just now. Ouma-kun, Ouma-kun, hey…”

Ouma shifted to his side, groaning from the disturbance.

“Ouma-kun…”

“Ugh…” Ouma rubbed his eyes with a grimace. “What happened?…Where is this…? I feel gross…” he slapped a hand to his collar bone after feeling an unusual chill in his neck area. “And where’s my scarf? Were you checking me out while I was unconscious? How much of my body have you seen, you perverted robot?!”

“You fainted during our investigation, so I brought you to my room,” Kiibo sighed as he took a few steps back to give his companion space to sit up. “I placed your scarf right next to the pillow. I only took it off because you might suffocate if it stayed on while you were unconscious, so I would highly appreciate it that you cease your baseless accusations, Ouma-kun.”

Ouma regarded the robot with a half-hearted glare before giving his arms a stretch while yawning. “…Anyway, you said something about Toujou-chan. What was it again?”

“Dinner. She went through the trouble of bringing you dinner, so please eat it,” Kiibo stepped to the side to reveal the tray resting on his desk.

The raven-haired ultimate narrowed his eyes at the meal in question, but eventually nodded. “I am feeling hungrier than usual, so I guess I will.”

Kiibo beamed at the leader, pleased that the latter was being so unusually cooperative. “I do apologize for waking you up from your sleep, but a meal is best enjoyed while it’s hot.”

“…Speaking of which, how long was I out?” Ouma bowed slightly in silent gratitude once his companion passed him the tray.

“About three hours.”

Ouma frowned a little as he took a sip of the miso soup. “Please tell me you went to the meetup in the dining hall at least.”

Kiibo shifted awkwardly in his stance, “…I’m sorry, I didn’t.”

The leader slammed his spoon against the tray roughly before grabbing the chopsticks, but his voice still remained calm. “…Oh? Why didn’t you? Don’t tell me that on top of your less than remarkable ‘strength,’ you have an even less than remarkable memory?” He punctuated his jabs by shoving a mouthful of rice in his mouth, followed by slivers of mackerel.

Kiibo frowned, “It’s not that I forgot.”

Ouma took another sip of miso. “Oh? Is that so?”

The android crossed his arms, “Saihara-kun was looking for us since we didn’t arrive at the meeting point at the designated time. In fact, he dropped by my room earlier.” He paused to take a less than graceful seat on his chair, intensifying his glare at the rude boy. “I told him I couldn’t go and even requested him to relay the results of the meeting to us tomorrow after I informed him of the results of our own search. I only stayed behind because I didn’t want to leave my partner behind.”

Ouma paused in his meal, back straightening before he finally turned to look at the android. “Heeeh. Partner, huh. You’re such a riot, Kiiboy.” He munched on a pickle. “I guess your research on stand-up comedy is finally paying off.”

“It’s not a joke, Ouma-kun,” Kiibo lost the anger in his tone, this time it was something rather…melancholic. “…You were the one who said that we were only paired off because we’re both outcasts.” He began pressing his fingers together. “…I’ve been trying to ignore it, the sense of alienation whenever I’m around the others. I still don’t think too badly of them, but the words you told me that day never left my mind. It actually made me realize that I wasn’t imagining the distance–that I wasn’t just being overly sensitive around them.”

Ouma carefully placed his chopsticks on the chopstick rest as he listened.

“Ever since you told me that I…actually felt relieved,” Kiibo folded his hands as though in prayer. “I was a little happy too…that we at least have each other. That’s why I thought, the least I could do was to be there for you when you’re feeling unwell. Waking up in an empty room…wouldn’t it be lonely?”

“…You. Are you an idiot? Me? The Ultimate Supreme Leader, lonely? Don’t make me laugh,” Ouma scoffed.

Kiibo lifted his head. “Ouma-kun…if you continue to grab on my sheets that tightly, it would tear.”

“Shut up, Kiibo.”

“I refuse to,” the android tightened his grip on his own hands. “Because if I do…I won’t get the chance to have this talk with you once either one of us leave my room.”

Ouma clicked his tongue before snatching the chopsticks from its rest to finish the rest of his dinner.

“You don’t have to respond truthfully to me, Ouma-kun. I only wanted to say what’s been on my mind for a long time now,” Kiibo’s gaze softened. “…You and I…are quite similar. We…we simply have no place within this Cage. That’s why…even if you push me away with your robophobia, I just want you to know that I’m always willing to lend you a hand whenever you need it. That’s all I have to say.”

“Kiiboy…” Ouma pushed the tray towards the android, flashing him a small smile. “Don’t make promises you can’t keep.”

It wasn’t like his usual mischievous smiles, but it wasn’t a sincere smile either. It was simply…an empty smile.

Even Kiibo could tell that this was the best time to end the conversation. “…I’ll go wash the dishes. Your shoes are right beside the bed. You can stay the night in my room if you want, but I won’t stop you if you choose to leave.”

“‘Kaaaaaay~”

Kiibo shut the door behind him with a sigh. “…I didn’t intend to tell him that as soon as he woke up. I really should study more about reading the mood…”

By the time he got back, Ouma was already gone–something he had expected the moment he left his room.

“The least he could do was fix the bed…” he gave the sheets a strong flap to get rid of the wrinkles, surprised to catch a sheet of paper slipping out after he did so. He dropped to his knees and reached for the slip of paper hiding beneath his bed. His eyes widened upon reading the message lazily scrawled on its surface.

Kiibo found himself smiling. It was only one word, but the feelings behind that word meant so much to him. He decided to preserve the message in a small box and kept it inside his drawer.

“Kiibo, what are you–”

“Harukawa-san, please lay down your weapon.”

“Get out of my way, Kiibo. Ouma is a Remnant of Despair, remember?!” Harukawa kept her crossbow raised, her resolve never wavered despite the astronaut’s protests.

“We have no way to confirm that yet. Besides, Ouma-kun and Momota-kun weren’t around when we used the flashback light. Interrogating him about that would be nothing but a fruitless endeavor,” Kiibo took a step back and stretched an arm out to further obscure the assassin’s view of the fallen leader. “If Momota-kun and Saihara-kun, if everyone could give you a second chance, then it’s only fair that we give Ouma-kun a right to be heard as well.”

“Kiiboy…” Ouma gritted his teeth, the poison was slowly but surely coursing through his veins. But even so, he couldn’t help but feel relieved. Relieved that Kiibo kept his promise to him that fateful night.

“Kiibo is right, Harumaki. Just stop this. This isn’t the right way,” Momota grabbed the assassin by the wrist and made her lower the crossbow.

“Momota…you idiot!” she hissed.

“You’re the one who’s acting like an idiot, Harumaki. You’re going to restart the Killing Game if I let you go through with this,” the astronaut tightened his grip on her.

“But…he’s…” the assassin sank to her feet, realization finally hitting her.

Kiibo relaxed in his stance before turning to face the leader and offered him a hand. “There’s an antidote in Saihara-kun’s lab, let me take you there.”

Ouma nodded in response as he accepted the hand. “…Thank you.”

Kiibo beamed at him. “You’re welcome, Ouma-kun.”

Why on 65%? Did something happen today?

I am probably at 25% rn.. 😅 I was doing good up until a few minutes ago... But then my mom told me that there's a screw loose in my head and I am mentally ill.. just bcs I locked my brother in the kitchen jokingly. It's a common sibling thing.

I don't really care about other people's bad words but whenever my family says something (which they do literally everyday) specially my mom it hurts so bad that sometimes it causes me serious pain in my chest.

A few days ago when my mom's brother (who is a doctor) told her that I might be depressed and he would arrange for my councelling at where he lives my mom totally dismissed the conversation as if it never happened. And today she is telling me to go (like chali ja, not mai le jaungi) bcs she thinks I am a crazy person, not bcs I am depressed.

I hate lizards so much, seriously 🫂 I used to not use a thing ever if a lizard touched it. But on a flipped coin side, I used to closely observe lizards sometimes! Once I saw a lizard drink water from water droplets. Do you remember I told you that I get over my phobias by exposing myself more to them? I think I was doing that but not deliberately to cure my phobia, I was just curious 😅

Yeah! That dream had me thinking the whole day about him and how I would trick him into signing divorce papers like a mastermind villainess from Indian serials if the marriage happened lol

oh mahn. I am so sorry to hear that. I feel like sometimes (most of the time) parents don’t understand that their words carry so much weight. I know what you mean when you say it hurts more when your mother says something mean. Because you value what she says & then if it’s something negative, you start questioning everything. Their mindsets are completely different to ours, so even if she thinks you’re crazy, which you aren’t, don’t even bother and do what you feel is right. I hope things go well with your counseling! If that’s what you need, then nobody’s opinion should matter, not even your parents bc they would never understand & won’t even attempt to look at things from your perspective!

So Steven Bomb 6...

All right, I finally got around to watching Steven Bomb 6, and I figured ‘hey, why not put down my thoughts while everything is fresh in my mind?’ So yeah, let’s do that. (Btw, I’ve never done anything review-ey like this so bear (bare?) with me please) I’m gonna break this down by episode, so here we go. Warning: HEAVY SPOILERS

Lion 4: Alternate Ending: Okay, this episode was probably my least favorite. I don’t know why, it just was. However, by no means did I dislike it. Seeing Steven get all existential crisis-ey on us was really cool. Being that Steven is such an optimistic person, I live for the moments when things stop being so sun shiny. Lion himself was great in this episode. I love that they showed him being more cat-like. That and the look of determination he had when they were going to Rose’s junk room were my favorite things from him. As far as the Nora tape goes, I have conflicted feelings. The fact that it got everyone so wrapped into who Nora was was great, and Rose’s rambling on the tape was a little adorable. On the other hand, I just felt kinda eh about the whole thing (if that makes sense) Overall, good episode, not really anything special in my opinion, but good.

Doug Out: Let me just say, whatever the Crewniverse did to Doug, I am 1000000000000% on board with it. His character went from “A dad that’s very DAD and a shitty driver” to “Personable, fun, genuinely caring, self doubting overall wonderful and relatable person” and I’m loving it. Every time he interacts with Connie, I fall more and more in love with their relationship. My absolute favorite thing has to be the scene where Doug talks about how insecure he is that he’s just a boring security guard while his wife saves lives as a doctor and his daughter saves lives as a magical hero. It just makes him so much more human and I cannot express how much I adore it. The story of the episode is alright, the joke about Onion loitering is great, and the hints at Topaz and Aquamarine are fantastic. Later on when Steven and Connie explain everything to be Onion was a little dissapointing, but it was all the better when their shadows appeared. Overall, quality episode that I really enjoyed.

The Good Lars: I LOVED THIS EPISODE. This was most definitely my favorite episode in this Bomb. The pumpkin was a great way to introduce Lars’ baking skills along with his explanation on how it was made was wonderful. I loved Sadie’s little “Even if you don’t believe Steven and I, you’ll have to believe the cool kids.” The scene at Lars’ house where he was trying to decide what to make was good too, it really showed off how much he knew about baking. Deciding on the Ube was cute (especially Steven’s “potatos can be sweet!?”) The baking process and Sadie and Steven tasting it was great, I loved the banter. Seeing Sadie show up at the party and being nervous about hanging out with the Cool Kids was adorable. Steven getting a worried and looking around for Lars was such a Steven thing to do, it just fit really well. My overall favorite thing in this episode is without a doubt whenever Lars would get worried about hanging out with the Cool Kids and Sadie and Steven reassuring him. The whole thing was the exact right amount of angst and fluff for the story. Grand Total, I agree with Sadie (who I was very happy to hear sing again) when she says that the Cool Kids are actually cool and I completely adored this episode.

Are You My Dad and I Am My Mom: (I’m gonna do these together because I honestly am starting to get the details confused) These episodes had me super excited to meet Topaz and Aquamarine. I am a sucker for the actual gem Aquamarine and Topaz is my birthstone, so yeah. Anyways. The beginning at the beach was fun, it was nice to actually see the gems (even if it was just bean drinking and sand castle builing). When Steven started searching for people and came across Aquamarine, it got me super hype to see what would happen. However, I was a little dissapointed to see what DID unfold. I feel like one of them should have caught on a lot faster to the whole “Are you my dad” thing. I also feel like this is one of those moments where there is no reason that Garnet shouldn’t have used her future vision. When Steven got back to the house and the drawing scene (which is my favorite scene out of both episodes) I feel like things would have been a lot simpler if Steven had made a drawing too. But the humor in that scene was great. When Connie sent that picture to Steven and the Gems confronted Aquamarine and Topaz, I was ready for a super cool fight scene, what I got was less than expected. A full on fight between Garnet and Topaz would have been amazing, instead, Garnet got punched through a wall, Pearl tried to stab Aquamarine, and Amethyst got her whip stepped on. Boo. Things did start picking up again though when Steven claimed that he was My Dad and went along with Topaz (Btw, that method of holding captives is really cool). His idea to get everyone off was admittedly very clever, even if the execution took some effort. After everyone is off and Alexandrite has made her appearance, Steven revealed that he is Rose Quartz and that he’d go back to homeworld if everyone else could stay. Listening to everyone screaming for him to stay was heartbreaking (Especially Amethyst threatening to beat him up if he didn’t come off the ship) and I could hardly watch Steven get fused back into Topaz. Overall, they were a good two episodes, I really enjoyed them. They could have been better, but they were still really good.

Another three things I wanted to add in but didn’t know where to put them: 1) I kinda really did Aquamarine and Topaz. They’re just the villains you love hating. And I love the dynamic, it’s very clearly reminiscent of Jasper and Peridot, but something about it just seems cleaner. Like, these guys are more extreme and will do the jobs better than their predecessors. 2) The scene where Sadie gets picked up by the one Topaz and she’s trying to get Lars to help her breaks my heart. It’s so clear that Lars wants to help her, but he’s just too scared. Sadie looks so disappointed and sad and I love it. It’s exactly what the episode needed. I just hope that this means there will be more growth for Lars, which brings me to my third and final point… 3) LARS IS STILL ON THE FREAKING SHIP Like, I don’t know exactly what this means or how he’ll be able to help, but he’s still there and it will be a part of the story.

Anyways, I thought it was a good bomb overall and I’m happy I got to see it. Thanks for listening to me ramble on about this. Have a good day/afternoon/night/thing!
