You know what's a messed up thought? We need to stop the knight from opening fountains in order to stop the roaring right? And to do that we need to seal the fountains... Who opened the fountain in castle town? If we assume its the knight, it might mean that we have to seal the castle town fountain aswell, and i think that would make an interesting ending, like, choose to keep it open and risk the roaring? Or close it and say goodbye to your friends forever.

I've talked about your point before, it's a very good observation! but instead of arguing for or against it, I'm just gonna say this:

ever played one shot? the other cute indie game with meta themes and player/PC interactions that's referenced multiple times throughout deltarune? (ex: the room with the tree and the man behind it)?

#:]] #i don't speculate about deltarune that much #but one thing i feel very strongly about where it's going #and it's that by the end of the story the light world and the dark worlds won't ever be able to communicate again #because the power dynamic between the darkners and the lightners almost directly parallels the dynamic between kris and the player #which. while i think kris had a hand in our coming. is still one of disproportionate disparity #think of the control we have over kris and their body and their life #now think of the control lightners have over darkners for the pure fact that they're objects in the lightworld #how they make them. and literally give them purpose. and can destroy them willingly or not #like remember that meme about the kid from toy story ''how was he supposed to know they're alive. they shouldn't be'' #considering this power dynamic it becomes clear that there's no true ending to dr where we remain in control of kris' body #... and there won't be any end for the darkners' crisis as long as they're tied to the light world. as objects #there's also another possibility. which is that dark worlds aren't truly... Real real. like their function IS to help and support lightners #which would SEEM to be supported by the fact that (according to toby) making plushes of the darkners serves a purpose to the story #while making plushies of the lightners doesn't #but it's debatable. especially with how hard the story in ch1 pulled on the ''lightnerd and darkners are equal'' which... #on a purely material/ontologic sense is just not true #but seems to remain conscience/will/freedom-wise #but anyway yeah. going by vibes and thematical predictions alone #i think we'll have to definitely close the portals to dark worlds. so they can go on to live their own destinies separate from ligtners #and THEN. don't forget will play again. the version with lyrics. and like the stickers it's gonna impliy that it's sung from ralsei's pov #and he'll sing ''don't forget: I'm with you in the dark''. and we'll all BAWL our FUCKING EYES OUT #answered asks #deltarune #entry log

Was talking on discord about how whimsical it would be if the fun gang/lightnerds took Spamton to the ice cream store and ended up having a really deep discussion about what flavours everyone would like. Here are the results. Kris: Chocolate, obviously Susie: Liquorice, although she would also put so many sprinkles on there she could barely even taste the original ice cream anymore. She's also be a fan of the funky special flavours they often have at parlours like smurf flavour Honestly we completely forgot Ralsei in that convo, whoops Lancer: Also some of the silly flavours. Could be something for him and Susie to bond over Noelle: Chocolate chip mint/cookie flavours as they taste like candy cane and cookies (duh). She's probably also enjoy seasonal flavours. Berdly: Pistachio. I mean this in the silliest most positive way, Berdly strikes me as a bit old fashioned in some aspects and as such pistachio seemed like the right choice. Also it's just another example of him awkwardly standing out. Spamton: We decided he should have vanilla/lemon and strawberry as those are the colours of his glasses. Bonus: We also discussed some characters outside the original scope, here's their results too

Jevil: Ice cream with pop rocks in it. It's delightfully silly and chaotic, perfect for our silly jester Queen: Liquor based ice cream. Would be funny for her to try out the light world replacement for her battery acid even just to compare. To quote out conversation, she's a wine mom Cakes: He'd probably enjoy trying out different flavours every time as he seems to have a general sweet tooth, although lemon sorbet will always be his safe choice Sweet: Nut ice cream. My thought process behind this was that since he got the idea to sell seedy bagels in game he might like seeds and nuts.

Cap'n: Coffee. Only the burliest ice cream for the most macho of man (Additionally Sweet and Cap'n would buy a bunch of ice cream to take home and mess with, stuff like putting it on a sandwich or making a smoothie of all the flavours) Rouxls never got into the parlour because he couldn't open the door

i had a dream that toby fox released chapter 4 of deltarune before chapter 3

the main motive was chaos and casinos iirc

kris susie and ralsei travelled plains and all.. the plains were blue-gray with small lighter grass strands

there were many enemies! one fo them was the warsheep. like warship but a sheep and they had only 2 legs and had swords. they also looked like chapter 1 ralsei kinda

there were also chaos birds who kinda looked like swatch... they were birds but they had long striped legs, their festhers were black and white and they also had some specjal fearhers that turned various colors and patterns.. the chaos birds were used to carry stuff around.. they also had feathers around their head that looked like roulettes

there were also purple cocoons that were explosive and they exploded into purple spikes. they appeared in rows and their gimmick was that they blocked other enemies (they couldnt get accessed at all). the modt successful way kf them was to use rude buster!! when they got introduced you only could play as susie..

abd there was ONE character who caused chaos on ACCIDENT. i dont remember his name but he was a bird creature and he was obsessed with books. he tricked the lightners into climbing the CHAOS TOWER. his face was flat. also i love him

the chaos tower was actually 3 towers! there were rooms full of traps but mostly it was stairs. at the end of each tower there was a key to be inserted along with collected green gems. there also was a riddle to be solved..

the key was to a chest which contained a golden staff that upon closer inspection had an aura around it that looked like spilled gasoline

the towers with the keys unlocked access to ANOTHER tower. where the king lived. he was a bird (peacock) creature the size of spamton. he had a golden crown with color changing gems in it but they were mainly red

the lightners found him and decided to beat him up! they did..

his bossfight music was regal but chaotic and the bossfight itself was on the similar difficulty as spamton neo.. he called on the chaos birds and all the other enemies to attack the lightners for him lol. anyways he got his feathers kicked

so they then inserted the 3 staffs into the holes in the wall that were dedicated to them.

..but turns out the king wasnt evil at all. the chaos towers were there to guard things and the staffs were items that prevented a calamity from happening.

the book bird character that caused the misunderetanding appeared and laughed a bit before realizing how fatal the mistake was. he mistook the lightners for something else and tricked them into messing up this whole world. the bird king got mad at them and suddenly the tower they were in (along with the 3 others) were about to collapse. the lightners decided to jump down and were helped by the recruited chaos birds. there was also an option to summon a bag and to put the bird king in it like a marketable plushie. if you did that you gained some sort of secret bonus but i forgot what it was. but you could save him and thats cool as fuck

anyways the towers blew up and everyone (or almost everyone) was safe! but there was an optional bossfight. a void creature. the fight was similar to omega floweys but i dont remember anything aside from the fact that it was rather creepy. think of spamton neos introduction in the basement. yeah kinda like that. slowed music and shit... i cannot remember what it looked like for shot but it had 6 eyes

but yeah. the lightnerds came back to their world and everything was.. fine.
