After recent events, I ended up going back to the beginning to check things, because my first reaction will always be "wtf, this is shit, why would you do this" and my second reaction will always be "okay maybe that was a bit much, maybe he's not THAT bad, maybe has a good reason-

I have been angry since April 12th and I've reached a point where I don't even know what to feel anymore I don't even know what to tell y'all.

Like, wow, omg, movie reveals. Other than family relations, the other thing isn't exactly anything new. We've all read Midnight Crow. We saw Kaitou Corbaeu. We've been in denial until finally reaching acceptance. For me at least. And then we spend a few years bargaining, bc surely there's a good reason kaitos not in the know. That kaito has to be KID. Surely there's a reason? Right?

At this point we don't even truly know if Jii is in the know and was acting as planned out by the parents or not. Or if he's just like kaito. Tricked, lied to, played for fools. At the very least ginzo doesn't know, so there's that. Not sure how much that would help kaito when he inevitably finds out. Because he will. The fact remains that it's quite suspicious that Jii just so happen to choose to don the KID outfit and become KID to draw out toichis murderers exactly 8 years after toichis death. EXACTLY the same amount of time that was set for that trap door portrait to open to kaito.

would...would you believe I technically pitched a Corduroy Stew pitchdeck to Nickelodeon a year ago? I have been working on them a long time - but making them puppets this year really somehow solved a lot of problems with the story! They used to be robot siblings serving a 'Bailey' haha (Old art incoming)

I got tired of pitching cartoons that went no where and decided to make something here on the internet! They also became sock puppets for a short while before Welcome Home inspired us to just overhaul them into full bodily puppets !!

I really love puppets - made them all the time growing up - but was never able to really embrace that until I left my home this year!

These 'silly little guys' are actually almost six years old in concept -

Alenoah Hypnosis AU, where Alejandro offers to hypnotize Noah, Noah says yes but makes sure that Owen + Izzy + Tyler is around to make sure that Alejandro doesn't make him do anything too embarrassing...

But Alejandro only adds a hypnotic trigger... Whenever Alejandro offers Noah a hug, Noah feels a strong urge to cuddle Alejandro... It's Alejandro own way of playfully messing with Noah... Noah hates it (but secretly enjoys the cuddles)... Owen + Izzy + Tyler doesn't stop Alejandro from adding the trigger, cause they think the hugging might help the anti-social grumpy Noah...

I know this version of the AU is weird, but hopefully it's a little less messed up then the 'Noah turns into Alejandro's puppet' AU! 🍥

Wait why is this actually kind of cute though?

It's still a little bit ethically questionable, which sort of comes with the territory, but the idea of Alejandro using his access to Noah's subconscious solely to make Noah want to hug him is actually kind of sweet. In a sort-of-messed-up kind of way.

It also implies that Alejandro already really wants Noah to hug him, which. I don't know if I prefer "already infatuated with Noah" or "incredibly touch-starved and positive attention-starved" as his motivation for doing so (though both is always an option). Either way, this lad just wants a hug from his favourite sourpuss.

And the mental image of Noah, salty pessimist that he is, physically fighting against the urge to koala cling to Alejandro at his prompt is really funny. He'd be so against the whole concept, not for any moral reasons, but because he'd find wanting to hug someone inherently embarrassing (not that he'd let anyone else know that) and "insulting to someone of his intelligence". I'm just imagining him making the most disgruntled facial expression whilst Al's grinning at him, waiting with open arms.

HIHI! I know it's been a solid month but I wanted to send you a recipe worthy of you!

SO Here is my chosen recipe for you! Please let me know if you make/enjoy it!

Recipe for Beef Goulash

Ingredients

4 tbsp olive oil

700g beef, can be stewing steak or whatever you prefer

30g flour

1 onion, sliced thin

2 garlic cloves (or more. Follow your heart. Throw it in. Live your best life)

1-2 bell peppers. Follow your heart.

2 tbsp tomato puree

2 tbsp paprika (or more. please. this should be made with so much paprika it makes your heart sing. Just. Have fun with the paprika. Turn everything red)

75ml red wine.

300ml beef stock, either homemade or storebought

sprigs of parsley to serve

150ml soured cream

Method

heat 1 tbsp oil in your saucepan. sprinkle your chunks of beef with flour and brown them, adding more oil as needed. remove from pan.

add the rest of the oil to the pan along with the onions, garlic, peppers. Fry until soft

add the beef back in bby! throw in that tomato puree and the paprika to your hearts content! MIX.

LOOKING GOOOD LOOKING GOOD! Now add that stock and the wine. BEAUTIFUL.

Cover and let simmer for at least an hour, tho I personally would recommend leaving it on a low heat for as long as possible to let the beef get goooooood. usually i put this on in the morning for nighttime.

season to taste. Stir in cream.

Serve with rice and sprinkle with parsley. No really. It makes a HUGE difference. The parsley is essential

anyway i dont know if im explaining this right. i wish i could transport people into my mind palace so my vision can be properly understood but alas

also despite her size i think kobeni could lift makima and carry her in her arms as easily as she could a small-medium sized dog

This season I'm mostly following Trigun Stampede and Nier Automata, but I started watching Onimai the other day just to see if it was as bad as people were making it out to be...

...and I actually thought it was really cute! Yeah, there's a bit of 'anime bullshit' to get past, though mostly in the first episode (and the OP a bit) but the cute and heartwarming scenes (and incredible animation) more than make up for the fanservice bits IMHO.

Like the scene where Mahiro (a man who has been turned into a teen girl) starts unconsciously crushing on what she thinks is a random boy who helps her out in the grocery store, then gets incredibly flustered when someone points out that they look like a cute couple, is utterly adorable:
