pros:

- it took a while to get there, but I actually loved the concept of the show??? like a lonely man who’s been abandoned by his father his whole life and developed an illness that makes him incapable of leaving his house??? why is that a very interesting concept though??? sadly that is hidden by all the rest, see the cons.

- I honestly thought the acting & chemistry were pretty good when all the fanservice bullshit was removed.

- I liked that FOR ONCE toxic & abusive family members are not just forgiven and given a free redemption storyline.

cons:

- SO cringe. like I thought it was impossible for me to get any second-hand embarrassment from bl shows anymore, but I was wrong. them falling into water & going back up while kissing not once BUT TWICE was the most ridiculous shit ever, like even 2014 love sick wouldn’t pull that type of fanservice shit. which is annoying since there are other really solid scenes imo, but they’re overshadowed by this slow-motion cringefest.

- SO slow, which says a lot for an 8 episodes series. it took forever to get to the meat of the story, and then it was over before we knew it. I just think this show had SERIOUS execution issues, bc once I genuinely believe it had potential, but... the writing & execution are really quite appalling.

would I rewatch it: no thank you

what is the cringiest scene you have seen in a thai/bl show?

oof, well my definition of cringe has evolved so much throughout the years. when I watched my first bl, sotus, I thought it was the cringiest show ever, even though it's really not :') and honestly throughout the years I thought I had built up a tolerance & couldn't experience second hand embarrassement, but recently the tuxedo proved me wrong LMAO. them falling in water & coming back up while kissing TWICE had me dying gyuisdjucuyhd!!! oh & also bad buddy's last ep but let's not get into it lol.

They’re on the 2moons2 end of the spectrum and they need to be atleast an Enchanté

I’m one of maybe 6 people in the world that didn’t hate The Tuxedo it seems.

But I’m not one of the thousands who think that sex and fan service failed this series and for that I’m glad.

It was messy but the so called ‘sex’ didn’t take away or make it better.

It followed the old trope of mis-miscommunication. You know how someone makes something clear but an early misunderstanding rears it’s ugly head and seems to rip logic to shreds?

Aiaon made it clear that he wasn’t dating Chanjao and confessed to Nawee who took that as a lie (which there was no valid reason to) but then took comfort in Aiaon the next day then proceeds to go out on a terrible date.

Didn’t like the whole downplay of answer’s condition. He’s lived like that for over 20 years you think he didn’t just try going out? That the doctors he went to didn’t try going out. But no, let’s flood him with trauma by tossing him out into the world against his will.

There were many unnecessary characters and the necessary characters had nothing. All of this seems to have taken place in a week. Why did they make Art adoptive? Why even make Oab a sibling? Why were any siblings in this even necessary?

Anywhats, there was potential. They could’ve had it all but it seems ChapGreen is only destined for short stories with short storied characters.
