- only looking for partners 18+.

- gdocs, email, and discord all work for me. discord's preferred for ooc, but it's not necessary.

- i'm not really a rapid-fire poster; please don't expect that of me. i can offer ~3-5 posts per week and would appreciate that in return. at the very least looking for 1 post a week.

- longer posts are great! 4+ paragraphs is my sweet spot, and i can pull off novella too. not looking for one-liners or super short paragraph replies!

- depending on what we write, i'm absolutely open to doubling! i'm also potentially open to writing multiple characters, casts, and/or poly.

- open to pairings of all types! i'm mainly looking for original m// and fandom m/f and m// (and to maybe include an intersex character or two), though if we double i'm cool with f//. nb, trans and characters who don't fall in the binary are all good too! just as a note about the fandom stuff, i do want to include canon characters. whether that means canon/oc or canon/canon really depends on the fandom.

In addition to my previous post, I’m looking for patient, 18+ roleplayers who might like to roleplay with me (who is 18+). I do:

Fandomless roleplay (I’m shit at worldbuilding but if you’ve got a world you want to work with I’m more than open to it). If it’ll be fandomless, know that I’m NOT into:

Zombies, apocalypse (generally, there are a few exceptions), and modern war. Anything else pretty much goes (including smut, though I might ask to skip or pause if I’m not feeling it at the time).

I typically prefer magic, supernatural, and/or fantasy, but can work with a lot, so if in doubt, ask me! I’m sure there’s more fandoms I’m cool with too, so again, ask me if you’re not sure.

I’m fairly good at writing (which would make me literate, I think? I don’t understand the system to measure it) and tend to match whatever amount my rp partner puts down. If that’s several paragraphs, or one, either is fine. I’ve been roleplaying for about nearly three years now (though only with one person), and have been writing for thirteen years. I have a lot to learn but adapt quickly to whatever your patterns are.

Even if this post looks really old, I can almost guarantee I’m still looking. I love roleplaying with people.

  Hi, I’m Ravis! I’m a twenty-two year old, Mexican/Salvadorian-American college student, I’m a psychology major! I identify as an androgyne and all pronouns are acceptable! I have been roleplaying since about 2012-2013, though I have been on and off in recent months due to some aspects of my academic and personal life. My timezone is PDT.   I made a few of my own icons for this account but a good chunk of the graphics, borders, and dividers I made myself. If ya like them, I could give you a few pointers. Just don’t steal them please! I use a combination of Pixlr and Canva Pro to add filters, gradients, borders, graphics, and text.

  If these muses look familiar with you, I used to be necroticblonde! I ended up falling off the RP train pretty hard due to some emotional issues I was having while that blog was active. By the time I came back, almost everybody I followed had gone inactive. I decided I wanted a fresh start! I mostly adding this for the sake of transparency.

  Fandoms I’m familiar with: Devil May Cry, Black Butler, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, The Vampire Chronicles, Devilman (Crybaby and Devil Lady), Ghost (the band), American Horror Story, The Wayhaven Chronicles, Vampire: The Masquerade (V5 and Bloodlines), What We Do In The Shadows, and the House of 1000 Corpses Trilogy. I'm realizing that my love for writing tends to stem into me wanting to roleplay story ideas and my newest idea is featured in the Wayhaven Chronicles and characters making a little group together that accidentally gets into the supernatural so...yeah.

So, I finally roleplayed as myself through almost all routes of The Wayhaven Chronicles (I didn't do LT because one character for it that is not me is Enough of suffering). It was fun as heck to roleplay as my dumb and shy self, because flirts aimed at me have 4 ways to go: it goes over my head and I keep going in the friendliest way possible, I think I'm hallucinating and disregard the flirt, I notice but think it's a joke and disregard, or I notice at least 12 hours later and go "GABI YOU'RE SO DUMB".

So the impressions with all of them and kind of thinking how it would go for me in real life because of the romance in general were along these ways:

- Adam: I really love all the angst on his route, but roleplaying as myself I had to totally admit that this in real life would be so stressing to me, to the point of daily tears. The uncertainty of "what the hell does he feel??? Am I considered at least a friend, or am I just bothering the heck out of him???" would totally further all of my insecurities (which already are A LOT) and probably I would reach a point where I would start to become totally unresponsive to him as a way to defend myself from more hurt because of how he starts to show something and then take ten steps back. It's just... The uncertainty. Mixed signals. A lot of second guessing if I did something wrong, which is just... Stressful, because it's already how I live regarding studies and career and everything. It's an amazing route, I love it and my detectives whom are way more sure of themselves take all of it in stride, but... Yeah, I wouldn't and probably would appear at Mason's door (because me being myself apparently always ends bff with Mason???? Astonishing) with a tub of icecream and be like "hey, can I cry a river next to you? The quiet would be good" at some point.

Felix: Both with him and Mason I got a lot of friend points and had to say "would be romance or just friendship?" (I think with Adam too? I can't remember now). It is so refreshing with him, so... Comfortable. The kind of thing I really dream for myself. Full of happiness and in real life at no point would I have to second guess myself and just... there is no doubt that I would have a shoulder to lean on. And his flirts are so funny and friendly, real me would feel so wholesome and happy at his side... Also, I must say that, the thing about "you want someone to choose you"? I'm totally there with this him and this wish. Really, all of the sweet romance is totally up my lane and I just wanted to always be hugging him.

Mason: it was fun as heck be my dumb self every time he flirted and just act friendly. See him goes like "?????" when I did it was gold, as was see him up his game in a way that the detective had no way of denying. I also noticed while roleplaying that, in real life, the fact that I would have feelings and he would just want sex would hurt and I would probably almost do something irresponsible (Bobby route because I Don't Drink and I Hate Bars lol), but as things went along, the fact that there is no second guessing because he doesn't hide neither what he wants nor if I'm bothering would totally allow me to bask in the friendship and be comfortable around each other. The detective denied anything beyond if it was without feelings, but at no point in the route it feels like not even friendship is possible, which in real life would be great to me. Even with his flirts, even the bold ones that do manage to get a reaction, the fact that I do know where we stand towards each other would be really calming and at no point it feels stressful.

Nate: half the time the detective was just being really friendly and other moments was like "Is this gorgeous guy real AND flirting with me?". In real life I would just sigh all dreamy, because I may be dumb about flirts, but I'm not blind and Nate is A+ sigh material. Also it was really fun because it's the route I more managed to show all of my shyness, because while Felix is more romance-flirty-fun and Mason is just bold-flirting, which I'm clueless, Nate goes more classical-romance, which I'm a sucker for and thus is totally able to make me blush because "OMG THIS GORGEOUS GUY WANT TO GO ON A DATE WITH ME". Really. Classic romance is the way to turn me into a puddle. In real life I probably would be totally non-believing that yes, he is interested, until the point he says "it's a date". Despite all of the non-believing, it is another one that would feel comfortable and not stressful, because of the Nate is, which doesn't open space to second guessing.

Hello, I absolutly loved Wayhaven chronicles. I was able to create and roleplay my character as I wanted him to be, which doesn't happen to me in most of this games. So congratulations on a great book!! I can't wait to see what book 2 will bring to my bad boy detective Evan (sarcastic, easy going, bad boy almost going to jail before joining the police) and his big, not so bad wolf Mason. :D

Sooooo I got the Vampire Masquerade game Night Road and... I have never played a Vampire Masquerade game in my LIFE so I am reading SO MANY WIKI PAGES...

Also like definitely not enjoyable in the same way Wayhaven Chronicles and Fallen Hero is enjoyable. There is such a huge focus on stats like I don’t really get a feeling like I can roleplay how I want without dying...

The Wayhaven Chronicles— Update: 01/June/2018

A good progress week this week but a bit odd too, lol.

Ended up starting to practically rewrite what I did for Chapter Two halfway through this week. Took me a while and a good friend to make me realise something (thank you @spunkycatninja !!)—the fact I was getting so stressed about writing that I wasn’t enjoying it.

And the more tense I get the more that comes across in my writing.

So, I took a step back, took a deep breath, and started again on it.

I’ve now gone back to writing for me and my writing has improved because of it :D Obviously, I want people to love Wayhaven! But, first and foremost, Wayhaven was—and is—a project I do for myself. Something I can focus, pour my everything into, and escape to!

Now I’ve gone back to that mind-set, it’s much better and my writing is back to my own style and my own flow.

I’m really getting proud and excited for it again!!!

I’m actually really close to finishing Chapter Two, even with that hiccup, and should be able to get it done early next week!

Also, I worked on some coding stuff—less fun, but still necessary. Some of you may have seen on my Instagram that I managed to code in text instead of points for the friendships, so as you guys have a better idea of where you stand with each individual in the team.

As I mentioned in a few asks before, the bond between the MC and the team will develop naturally anyway as the story progresses, but the friendship points are more for which team member you’re closest too, which will have an affect on certain scenes.

I think having text will help with roleplaying rather than worrying about collecting points, which is something I really don’t want for people to do whilst playing Wayhaven :D

So yeah, an odd but really good week in the end, hehe!

I’m really glad you’re enjoying the choices and personality for the MC! I always like to give variety- I know it’s just small dialogue or action choices sometimes, but I really think it’s just as important to have those choices as big ones, because it can really help with roleplaying and immersing people into the story!
