recently discovered the poppler utils :3 very comfy very easy and very scriptable (though i wish pdfseparate let you specify page amounts to separate into..but it's easy enough to separate by page up to a stop point and unite which bits you want)
guess i should make some scripts to easily do certain pdf tasks :3 fuck having to use those sketchy web utilities

My desktop B)
Those two games over there run great through WINE out of the box.
Rain World is a bit sluggish (haha) in the menus and cutscenes, but the gameplay is just fine.
Ironically, Fez works better here than it does on my Windows 10 partition. On Windows 10, there's a bunch of graphical issues and shit. But here? Through WINE? It looks and plays perfectly.

Currently sitting here in my desk chair stimming like a madman as I compile the gifs for this. I've figured out an easier way to get and credit gifs since I made that Doc stimboard.
I can bring up a split screen of two Firefox windows and copy links to gifs, then embed them instead of downloading and reuploading them.

Dungeon Divers: A Dungeon-Themed Puzzle Game with a Twist
Tumblr media
Dungeon Divers dungeon-themed puzzle game for Linux and Windows now has a Demo. Thanks to the talented creativity from developer Wilson The Ball. Which is available to play on Steam. Let's dive into a fresh release from Studio Wilson The Ball. Since you're the new recruit at Dungeon Divers Inc., and your mission? Tackle a maze of procedurally generated levels, outsmart the challenges, and disarm the core, all while pocketing some serious cash. The Demo gameplay blends the brain-teasing fun of minesweeper with a 2D turn-based roguelike setup. Due to sneak through old, trap-laden dungeons. Your goal? Make them safe for future adventurers. Since you’ve got to be sharp, use a mix of brains and handy items to navigate and neutralize the dangers lurking around every corner.
What to expect in Dungeon Divers?
What makes this adventure unique? The variety and challenge. You're due to face nearly a dozen different types of rooms, each with its own set of puzzles and quirks. It starts off easy, but don’t be fooled – the complexity ramps up since it tests your problem-solving skills. The Dungeon Divers journey is full of twists and surprises. As you progress, you’ll stumble upon objects of power. These aren't just flashy trinkets – they're game-changers. Some will bail you out of tough spots, others will give you clues or boost your treasure haul. But here’s the catch: you can’t lug around everything you find. Choosing what to keep is as crucial as solving the dungeon-themed puzzle. Dungeon Divers keeps things fresh. Every dungeon you delve into is a whole new world, thanks to procedural generation. This means you won’t be seeing the same layout twice. Since it’s a never-ending stream of challenges, perfect for those who like a new experience every time they play. The best part? You can get a taste of this adventure right now with a new game demo on Steam. Dive in using Proton, test your wits on Linux, and see how far you can go in the ever-changing, trap-filled world of Dungeon Divers. Whether you're in it for the dungeon-themed puzzle, the thrill of exploration, or the fun of discovering hidden treasures, this title has something for everyone. The full launch is due to arrive in Q2 2024 on both Linux and Windows PC.
