- Hard a-starboard! - Red Son roared so loudly that his throat trembled and his voice became hoarse.

Demon Bull King stood behind his son to assess the ship approaching them.

- It's just a small brig - He muttered impassively, boredom colored his tired eyes. - We won't fish much.

- That two-masted ship doesn't stand a chance against our frigate! - Red Son set foot on the stormreeling, the wind hit the bottom of his coat, flapping it like a sail. The young man stretched his buoyant figure and raised his clenched fists as if he already held the sweet victory in them. He watched with a gleam of excitement in his eyes the silhouette of the sailing ship like a toy behind a store window. A broad smile was painted on his face. His voice was hoarse with emotion. - Let me have a little fun, father!

The demon captain rolled his eyes. He wheezed briefly, turning away from the side.

- Don't mess around too much - He muttered gloomily, unhurriedly heading for the cabin. - I'm going below deck to your mother. I trust you won't destroy the ship.

Red Son snorted with indignation. He turned with a motion so sweeping that his coat hit the air with a bang. He directed his sinister smile toward the pirates.

- Load the cannons - He growled with dignified drama, certain of the imminent death of the small brig.

But barely had his subordinates thrown themselves into the gunpowder and bullets, something hit the stormreling with a loud metallic crunch. A smile fell out of Red Son's mouth.

- What the...

Season 3 thoughts and kinda analysis - This Imperfect World  part 1

I'm planning to write about all 4 episodes (sorry for my english).

I won't talk about everything... just things I found interesting.

So I think it’s really cute that Red gives Mei his symbol (probably found for her some clothes also) 

I miss the lack of an explanation of what happened after episode 10 :’)

How long have they been training? I mean... How many time they spend with each other? She really made progress thanks to Red.

And now we have Red Son 

“Not bad Pony Girl... but not great either”

He's really pushing her up to improve her ability using Samadhi fire to maximum. But why? We'll get to that.

She’s getting from sad to annoyed and.... yeah..

Tell me... What the f#@k is this place?! Did Red Son trained here when he was young?

Second question... can’t he heal with fire like he done in pilot episode?

He is trying to stay calm because he know he have to be here. Talking about defeating LBD... He know that she is coming and reaching other places... And now we know that LBD went to his home and attacked them! (Also I am planning to write how it could look like.) He was looking for any chance which can help them! AND HE GOT HER! THIS IS WHY SHE IS HIS ONLY HOPE! BECAUSE HE CARE ABOUT HIS PARENTS! 

Also I think he say “You can’t. Because you are the only hope I-... the only hope this world has left” because he thought that she doesn’t care about him and want her to feel special  ...Then he realised what it looks like and start to be kinda mean.

Also “It isn’t because I was dying to hang our with you guys again”... oh man... over 500 years with no friends and with broken family... I bet he really like spending time with them because he no longer feel so alone.

About theory with his parents... I really love dragonfruitshipping but I was talking with theshy1sout then it dawned on me that he was only doing it for his parents... and if I could be honest... it really hurt when theshy1sout didn’t even mentioned me in her post... and wrote that “she realised”...

So that’s my theories... what you gonna say? ^^’

Ok, so you wrote an oneshot (i find it a genius one) that hasn't got a happy ending. The one about Branch getting bite by a poison spider and he's talking mindlessly about everything he sees or feels. I don't remember the title and i couldnt find it on your blog somehow. Any way, after reading it i end up wondering what would happen the very next day and I beg you to write a short next part or I write it by myself (I was really close to do that but then i realized i can also ask you about it xD)

oh, I think the fic you’re talking about is Heart On His Sleeve (which.... the title is the LEAST awful thing about it LMFAO) and I actually DID write a kind of “sequel”, where the narrative flips to Poppy’s perspective, so we can see her Think About Things and Have Feelings™ on the way to Bergentown. at the moment, it’s very rough and unpolished, absolutely no edits or anything, just collecting dust in one of my folders somewhere, but you definitely got me thinking about it again!! I’ll have to see if I can find it and make it fit for human eyes to behold LMAO. 

but, with that said, please go for it if you want to write a fic for it yourself!! I’d love to see anything you come up with!! please feel free to tag me or drop me the link if/when you post it, I’d love to read it!

Can you suggest some fan fiction or AU about the Red Son and Mei?

If you mean Dragonfruit, I don't know many since Dragonfruit isn't one of my biggest ships. I suggest you look at @theshy1sout, that's the first person that pops to mind. @circuitspeeder also has a fic set during S2 called A Season of Dragonfruit that, according to the author's summary, the author did to rub in our faces about how alone MK feels. There's also @ray-of-color. @purble-turble has a Yandere MK AU that starts with Spicynoodles that ends with Dragonfruit.

If you mean friendship, there's @its-kall-the-clown's Little One has some nice interactions while they babysit a deaged MK. I know @skellebonez and @grimbeak have some very nice friendship. And both @strange-lace and @winterpower98 have very nice Swap AU with Green Son and Monkey Mei.

That's all I can think of. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to reblog and give some.

Red Son slows down when the colorful booth appears from the corner.

- Would you like some bubble tea?

- Oh, that would be great! - Mk beams enthusiastically. He pokes Mei with and elbow and she almost jumps as if he wakes her up with a glass of cold water.

- Um, yeah, that would be great - She hides her hands in her pockets, failing to fake a smile.

- Leave it to me - The demon offers as his hand lands on his heart in such a theatrical gesture. - What flavors?

- Chocolate! As chocolate as possible! - Mk’s eyes sparkle happily. He turns to Mei, sending her encouraging smile. She blinks.

- Oh, and I want…

- …Spicy matcha with lichi jellies - Red Son interrupts her. - I got ya - He sends her a little gentle smile and tries to catch the sight of her eyes, but she glances away.

- Yeah - She says quite blankly. - That one.

Red Son grimaces as if she stabs him in his heart. His lips form a thin line, but he doesn’t say anything more. He just turns around and walks toward the booth.
