I know I’m a very unabashedly opinionated person, but whenever I accidentally upset someone I immediately start doing what I can to clarify and make things better, it’s kinda weird how my brain works that way-

Like “I’m gonna speak my mind and not say sorry” but then immediately if that has an observably negative affect I am saying sorry and trying to do better as much as I can.

Discovering myself as I live life is a challenge but at least it’s an interesting ride. Hopefully one day I’ll have these traits balanced out and can figure out how to speak surely and firmly without as much risk of upsetting others.

obviously someone’s always gonna get upset if you’re talking opinions, but I mean in terms of tone, phrasing, and context here. Y’know, the things I can do to better communicate my message.

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

i thought my laptop was on its last leg because it was running at six billion degrees and using 100% disk space* at all times and then i turned off shadows and some other windows effects and it was immediately cured. i just did the same to my roommate's computer and its performance issues were also immediately cured. okay. i guess.

so i guess if you have creaky freezy windows 10/11 try searching "advanced system settings", go to performance settings, and uncheck "show shadows under windows" and anything else you don't want. hope that helps someone else.
