EVALUATION:
Throughout the weeks I have progressed by improving my skills and knowledge and become a better version of myself. By making a podcast it was much fun and exciting to do for the first time. I’ve had some struggle on what I should make at the start of the project, that made me realise how difficult it is to truly understand oneself. I’ve first wanted to make a magazine because I’ve never made one before but it would have been a lot of work so I’ve decided which of the outcomes which be much stressful for me. It was always my interest to make a podcast or a video because it looked really fascinating and creative how people are able to edit the videos and add different effects.
I’ve managed to complete my podcast on time by having help from the college for letting me borrow the cameras for a week. By having two other projects which was with my team mates it helped me not get I to to much stress because we did have our ups and downs. We also talked about each other counter culture projects to see if anyone was struggling and worried on not getting the work done. The time management techniques I’ve used was To-do-list and a time table that would stay in my mind when I’m writing the tasks down on my sketchbook. Also when doing reflections I would reflect on what I can improve and change.
I’ve had help with setting up what I’ve had to put in my podcast and how I should organise by making moodboards, format, audience, segments and visual effects. When talking about the specific serial killer in my podcast I wanted to have the person that I’ve already knew before and how different he is from the others. I’ve looked at Netflix shows, newspaper articles, different podcasts and YouTubers to find out if the contextual side is the same for everyone. But some of them have more information than others which made me struggle a little on how to set my script and what details are relevant or not. The research I have looked at was mainly branding artists, podcasts and art reviews. My podcast was originally going to be 15 mins long but we managed to get it under by 13 minutes which I thought 15 mins was short because I was worried if I could fit the right amount of text in my script. And I never made a script before so I just searched on YouTube and other projects that I have done recently to have some kind of guidance.
The positive parts about the project was that we were able to make our own decisions and outcomes and what our creative art style is. I really enjoyed making the branding designs such as the billboards and the poster designs which I had inspiration from Spotify and some people I had researched. Making my podcast by editing it on CapCut because I couldn’t log into Adobe premiere pro at home because of updating issues. And it was much easier because I knew how to use it and it was pretty basic. Also doing experimentations such as Lino and sticker workshop. The negatives were a lot of artist research, reviews which were really difficult to understand and sometimes it was difficult to find out what needed to be done until we were given a checklist which really helped.
The purpose for making my podcast was to make original , similar podcast much more developed and better. Such as making them more fun and exciting for people to actually be interested in watching the podcast in their own free will. The differences would be that I would put texts, questions, designs such as a boarder and memes to make it more funnier. The reason why my target audience was 13 and over because they would understand much more better and I really liked the mysteries behind how detectives actually solved cases, how the murders have been affected from their past and for their present , future.
It would educate people that are wanting to or into true crime by making it fun for them to look at and not just hearing my voice because they would actually feel like they are with the podcast. The segment is different from the original sketchbook idea because I didn’t have time to make acting scenes and changed it for memes. My ideas such as the font for my title and the logo design where leading to the horror aspect which I wasn’t trying to lead on to, so by having reflections it helped me go the right path and changing things.

30 Best Mellow Frames (Part 3)
30-21
20-11
Sorry for the delay, here are the top ten Mellow Frames:
10. Steven Universe Characters React to Edgy Theories 3:
Tumblr media
Remember the Steven Universe Edgy Theory Generator? It was an online generator that came up with absurd theories for Steven Universe. It was popular with the fandom awhile ago. I made three comics that were about if these theories were true. These comics were fun to make because I didn't have to waste time on set up or anything like that, I could get to the jokes quicker. The most popular seems to be the third one. The joke at end seems to be the popular favorite, which surprised me because I was very unsure about making the joke. However people did find it funny so I guess it did work. Raven Molisee, a writer and story boarder for Steven Universe, liked this post so I guess this is Crewniverse approved. Neat.
 9. Just a Few Questions:
Tumblr media
This is easily my most popular Mellow Frames as well as the most controversial. I do admit that I do have a few questions that could've been reworded ( "Where are my Limb Enhancers" should be " Am I ever going to get my limb enhancers back", " Did Rose have any humans before Greg" should be " Who were the humans that Rose had before Greg and what happened to them") Also there were some questions I should have asked like " Will Greg ever move on", " what did Peridot 'mean by Harvest me'", “Who owns the Big Donut”, and " where are the cops in Beach City?".
With that said I do think some of the complaints are funny. I literally said it was a metaphor, but so many people took it literally. I've seen a few post complaining about this comic specifically saying this is how ridiculous SU Crits are. That makes me a little proud. Many believe that this comic is anti filler, but really my intention was to point out that there is a lot of possibilities for interesting stories, but season 4 wasn't taking advantage of that. Though not all the questions were like that.
Honestly most of the people did like this comic and I'm proud of it. It's just not higher because I prefer the ones where I am telling more of a story.
 8. Fuse, Marry, Kill:
Tumblr media
Here's an oldie, but a goodie. It's just about the gems playing fuse, marry, kill (though in hindsight it should have been fuse, marry, shatter or fuse, marry, bubble), but Pearl is giving eyebrow raising answers. This is pretty much the birth of the character we call Problematic Pearl. Problematic Pearl is pretty much Pearl, but is blatantly unapologetic and her flaws have been ramped up. This comic did become a slight meme as I've seen people on Tumblr and Reddit reference it. I believe this one is all right.
 7. Problematic Pearl: Pokémon Go:
Tumblr media
For those who don't know, I have a secondary account called Ask Problematic Pearl. It's an account where I have people ask questions towards Problematic Pearl, which is the Mellow Frames version of Pearl. This is easily my most popular post on that account and I understand why.  I feel like this one isn't cheating to put on here since it's done in a Mellow Frames sort of format. The ask I got for this came months before I answered. I waited so long to finally make this comic because I wanted to play the game for awhile so I can get the references right. I feel like it paid off. Also this is the only Pokémon Go meme I found that isn't either condescending to players or about team stereotypes.
 6. Are You the People I’m Suppose to Kidnap:
Tumblr media
I'm a little surprised that this one is as popular as it is, I guess people like Garnet drawing boobs. In hindsight it is pretty funny and the boobs did look better than I expected (I can't draw, but I know how to use Illustrator). Here's a fun fact about what seems to be everyone favorite line "I hope not", It was originally going to be said by Lars. I was thinking about doing a Mellow Frames on the Good Lars, where Sadie and Steven decide to get baked instead of helping Lars bake. While they're high in the basement, Aquamarine and Topaz come in and kidnap Lars. Aquamarine asked Lars " Are you my dad?" to which Lars replied with " I hope not." I ended up scrapping the idea because of time restraint ( and it not being that funny) so I gave the line to Connie. In hindsight, having Connie say it is a lot funnier.
 5. The Lust Boat:
Tumblr media
Well this one certainly has an erotic title, though it still accurately describes this comic. Not only is Jasper thirsty, but we have an added subplot about Pearl sailing out to hit on Jasper. I had quite a few people tell me that they hated this episode, but this comic made them feel a lot better. That makes feel a lot better.
 4. Aether Foundation is Suspicious as Fuck:
Tumblr media
I can't believe how right this comic was. Not only was I right, the game didn't even hide it. For a while this was actually the Mellow Frames with the most views, which is surprising because usually only the SU stuff gets notes (aside: I really need to start making Pokémon comics again since Ultra Sun/Moon are coming out). There was even a well-made dub of this comic made by Ravens Dub. They did a pretty good job on it.
 3. Miss Problematic Pearl:
Tumblr media
Mr. Greg was for me the episode that saved Pearl's character, however that's not very funny. What is funny is to put Problematic Pearl in the episode. So this comic is pretty much the episode except with Problematic Pearl and no musical numbers. This is probably one of the few Mellow Frames where I was laughing while making it.
 2. Do You Mind, I’m Full of Education:
Tumblr media
My best comics happen to be the ones on the episodes I like (people would think it would be the other way around). Mindful Education is one of my favorite episodes so Do You Mind I'm Full of Education is one of my favorite Mellow Frames. Despite the episode being so good, I still have a lot material especially with bitter misused Garnet. It seems people's favorite part is when Garnet asked Stevonnie the uncomfortable question. I was very worried about that moment since Garnet used an arguably offensive (some people told me the word wasn't as much offensive as it was archaic. With that said, I never use the word unless in relation to a famous trope), but nobody got offended. Fun fact: that scene has also inspired an original film that I'm currently writing. This one is just one I love reading and I hope you do too.
 1.     Peridot’s Hidden Escape Pods:
Tumblr media
And here’s #1, it was #1 the last list and it’s #1 her too. This one asks an important question, what if Peridot planted escape pods throughout the ship. It really doesn’t work out. People love seeing villains fail, and it’s usually funny to see it done by their own volition. What makes this comic the best one is that it works even if you haven’t seen what it’s parodying. I showed this comic to my little sister who hasn’t even seen Steven Universe, and she laughed hard. I also liked the interactions between Japer and Peridot, which wasn’t really that different from the show. Until “Aether Foundation is Suspicious as Fuck” and “Just a Few Questions” this was the Mellow Frames with the most notes, and it really deserves it. Like the Aether Foundation comic this too has a dub that you should check out (I’m linking to my reblog because the dubber deactivated their account). Honestly this one is still the funniest in my opinion.
And that was my top 30 Mellow Frames. I would like to thank you all for following my Mellow Frames and supporting them too. Making these have been a lot of fun despite the lack of financial returns. Now I’m going to tell you all a little secret. So many people have asked me to do an abridged series of these frames, and I’ve usually said no. Now I’m going to tell you that I actually really want to, and I probably will eventually. Right now I’m trying to get financially independent, but after I accomplish that I’m thinking about making the SU comics into videos. I just need to learn how to edit an abridge series (though it’s not exactly an abridge series) and get voice actors since I can’t voice act (though I know a few people would be perfect voices). So it probably won’t happen this year, but eventually I would like these Mellow Frames to not just be comics anymore.

New Look Sabres: Sabres Twitter Comedy Index (July 2019)
Tumblr media
Right when I think I’ve made it out for the summer I’m pulled right back in. New Look Sabres is a fan reaction blog. That means my focus isn’t being smart and or correct, it’s conveying where supporters of the Buffalo Sabres Hockey Club are at. During the season this a game-to-game affair. If this is your first time reading me, give me a follow and go check out the blog at uttarosports.tumblr.com. I bring it up because part of being a fan blog is knowing when you got a real piece of fan culture and running with it. I was beginning to enjoy the Post-Hockey summer when this began… well it actually began a while ago. Back in February I put up the four axis of Buffalo Sabres twitter. It was just one of those funny pseudo-charts meant to be a meme really. The humor I suppose came from how it could be seen as somewhat accurate while certainly not being scientific. I think it was the most liked thing I’ve ever put on any social media. I did a 2.0 version of that and its not out of the realm of possibility I do a 3.0 version come the 2019-2020 season. This is background for what you probably came here for: the Sabres Twitter Comedy Index… or at least some kind of explanation about WTF it is. I am not going to take full credit for the index. Chad DeDominicis was one of the guys who dug up the axis of Sabres Twitter recently and renewed the fun because it’s the offseason and hockey twitter generally is kind of boring right now. He made it clear to me what should be pretty obvious: the most fun part of it is the comedy corner of the chart. That’s where the idea began and now… well here we are!
I write here we are that way because 20 slots are far too few to recognize all the funny people on Sabres Hockey Twitter. I’m not just saying that to kiss ass. Making this ranking was very hard. From the time I got all twenty slots filled to the time I said I’m going with this I changed the ranking probably 35 times. If you’re coming here thinking “Why I am I not on this list?” I have a couple things to say to you. For one, calm down it’s totally arbitrary and pretty stupid if we’re all being honest with ourselves. Secondly, know that there is literally a list of the first fourteen out. Yeah, I think there are at least 34 twitter accounts who deserve to be on this list. If you really think you were snubbed you’re probably on that list. Thirdly, there is a deeper logic to the order of the list though, once again it is totally arbitrary. The most basic logic behind this is that these are tweeters who make twitter funny. There are hundreds of people who make being a Sabres fan fun, but this list is about Sabres twitter specifically and being funny on it. That also has an impact on the list in that twitter itself is important here. If you have a radio show or blog for a website that has a staff and holy crap…if you’re paid to talk about the Sabres… well that definitely bumped you down or off the rankings. In those cases we’re talking about people whose platform is bigger than twitter. That said, I’m not going to be a comedy gatekeeper. The world is shitty enough right now that we don’t need some dweeby graduate student who likes hockey trying to determine what is and isn’t funny. All forms of humor probably have some representation on this list. A few other quick things to consider about how I did this ranking: activity and expertise matters. If you hardly tweet about Sabres hockey or haven’t tweeted much about Sabres hockey in a long while, well that’s going to hurt your chances on the index. Similarly expertise matters because this is a twitter community based on one shared interest: the Buffalo Sabres. What you know about the Sabres matters in how your humor lands on Sabres twitter. If you’re making deep cut jokes about Ted Nolan’s relationship with Dominic Hasek and how it connects in some way to Rasmus Ristolainen getting choked out by Jon Scott, well that may help you on the ranking. That was an example attempting to be a joke by the way. There is a lot of that here. One last thing: if you’re an asshole you’re not on the index. If you are exclusionary in any way that makes you an asshole and therefore bounces you off this here index. So let’s finally talk about the list you just read.
There was indeed a moment I said Fuck it. This was actually hard because I knew it wasn’t going to be too much like the four-axis chart, but I knew that ought to have an impact too. Some radio personalities and big bloggers are on the list, but I generally did keep them out of the top ten. I don’t want those folks to be excluded either so the ones that really help make Sabres twitter the funny place it is are on there. Chad DeDominicis and Anthony Sciandra for example were in the top twenty in the early going but after a while got pushed off because there are so many twitter-first folks who are just as funny if not funnier. Sorry guys, thanks for having me on the podcast. The top 5 were folks who checked all the boxes: they’re all longtime Sabres tweeters who hardly drop off even in the offseason. None of those guys have blogs, not even a shitty fan-first blog like this. They’re all strictly Sabres tweeters. Sure, not every single tweet is about the Sabres but come on now. @essbeeay is the funniest follow on Sabres twitter right now because he is one of those meme-lord types who not only gets those funny screengrabs but also bridges pop culture into following the team we all love. He very nearly does it all. The top spot was in fact a race between him and Ben Matheson. It was so close and at the end of the day I just had to go with the one whose been around longer. @BLMC88, I believe her name is Brittany, occupies the 4 spot because she has tweeted some absolute slappers. Some of her jokes about Casey Mittelstadt this past season still stick with me. Everyone else in the top ten is similarly a different level of meme-lord. The Funnel Guy is in there because, once again, I am not going to be a comedy gatekeeper here. His less family-friendly brand of humor is funny too. There are three tweeters in the top ten who could be classified as bloggers: Chris Ostrander, the pizzaman and Max Marko. Consider Chris Ostrander the representative of deadpan humor in the top ten. I felt a little guilty putting a guy whose done radio hits in the top ten but the way 2ITB delivers his brand of Sabres humor on twitter is just too good. Three traditional media personalities made the index and if you’re a regular on Sabres twitter you probably know why. Jeremy White is on here because historically speaking he gave birth to what, in retrospect, is one of the funnier sides of Sabres twitter and that is Tank Twitter. I hardly got a taste of that world but it’s on a whole other level. Let’s not go back there for a long time. By this point the other radio guys who tweeted about this should understand why they’re in the bottom ten or not on the list. A couple of those guys are in the first fourteen out and you, dear reader, may also be on that list. That list is a Beyond The Blade exclusive so if you want to know that list you need to listen to the live show as saved in podcast form over with the nice guys at BTB. They’re a great follow too by the way.
Part of the reason this index happened was because it’s the offseason and the NHL hockey world is rather dormant right now. However I have considered doing this index again… maybe yearly, maybe quarterly, absolutely not more than that. I don’t know, this is a fan reaction blog so I suppose that will be determined by… well fan reaction. If it ever happens again it will be a Top 25 list. I don’t think a Top 50 list is really possible, but the idea has gone through my head as the Sabres enter their fiftieth season on the ice. Considering this is an arbitrary exercise in meme humor for a small community within the already niche sport of hockey this could be the very last mention of the Sabres Twitter Comedy Index and that wouldn’t be the least bit surprising. If you enjoyed this than I think you will enjoy regular New Look Sabres blog content once it starts up again in earnest at the end of August. Follow me @UttaroSports and follow the Uttaro Sports blog itself on Tumblr at UttaroSports.tumblr.com. Right now Uttaro Sports is going to be dominated by Soccer content because it’s July but trust me, Sabres hockey stuff is always simmering under the surface. For now: like, share and comment on this blog. While you’re engaging with this blog go follow Beyond The Blade @BTBHockey as well as the accounts of the great dudes behind that podcast. I hope to hear from you too and right now I frankly expect to hear from you. I’m ready for your @ tweets.
Thanks for reading.
P.S. And hey, maybe try out Soccer. I love the sport and so should you. I’ll be putting out some stuff for getting into soccer later this month on the blog if you feel so inclined.

Elon Musk was once tech's angel. Now he's an overplayed meme.
Tumblr media
It’s Viral Market Crash week on Mashable. Join us as we take stock of the viral economy and investigate how the internet morphed from a fun free-for-all to a bleak hellscape we just can’t quit.
In the space of a few short months, Elon Musk has gone from being the internet's tech darling to one of the most parodied personalities online.
Up until this spring, Musk was more or less well liked. Sure, his employees were reportedly working mandatory overtime, but his anti-union stances were overlooked because hey, he launched a car into space! His company's egregious record of under-reporting workplace injuries was glossed over because he started dating Grimes after shooting his shot with an adorably nerdy pun. Elon Musk was the manic pixie dream boy of tech: He was deeply problematic, but it was easy to ignore because he was just so quirky.
SEE ALSO: People think Guy Fieri is a better philanthropist than Elon Musk
I mean, he sold flamethrowers. Flamethrowers! Who even remembers that Tesla employees were apparently forced to work around the body of an employee who passed out when there are videos of a grown man giggling about his new flamethrower?
Don’t do this. Also, I want to be clear that a flamethrower is a super terrible idea. Definitely don’t buy one. Unless you like fun.
A post shared by Elon Musk (@elonmusk) on Jan 27, 2018 at 5:29pm PST
But then in late May, Musk's reputation took a sudden nosedive when he started using Twitter like Donald Trump. Musk criticized how the media covers Tesla crashes. He was understandably upset that a recent crash that resulted in a broken ankle was reported on extensively while thousands of fatal crashes from standard cars aren't.
Then he ramped up his complaining and blamed "big media" for lying, and claimed that nobody believes news outlets anyway. He also said that journalists are "under constant pressure to get max clicks" or risk getting fired for not pulling in enough of that sweet advertising revenue, even insinuating that fossil fuel and oil companies were paying off reporters to write negative reviews of Tesla's cars.
As if that wasn't enough, Musk followed up by announcing his plans to create a Yelp-type review site for journalists that would allow the public to "rate the core truth of any article," which honestly sounds like an Orwellian hell.
Musk's anti-news rant came just weeks after Reveal published a damning report about Tesla putting manufacturing above its employees' safety. Grimes tried to defend her new boyfriend, insisting that Tesla being anti-union was "fake news." When journalist Jessica Huseman called out Musk for his tweets, pointing out that Reveal is a nonprofit that doesn't compete for clicks, he threw a temper tantrum that turned into a months-long Twitter meltdown.
No, they’re just some rich kids in Berkeley who took their political science prof too seriously
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) May 23, 2018
Like an angsty preteen who just feels misunderstood by society, Musk lashed out at everyone who criticized him.
Then in June, Alex Arbuckle changed his Twitter display name to "Italian Elon Musk" and started blessing our feeds with parodies of Musk's tweets.
Ayy!! I make a da rockets!!
— alex (@alexqarbuckle) June 16, 2018
Arbuckle isn't the first to spoof Elon Musk. The account Bored Elon Musk has been actively shitposting on Twitter for years.

Alarm that also starts a timer for how long you're allowed to f*** around on your phone after waking up.
— Bored Elon Musk (@BoredElonMusk) April 5, 2017
Arbuckle's version of Elon Musk was unique, though. While Bored Elon Musk made fun of Musk's ideas, like tweeting randomly specific but ingenious innovations, Arbuckle's Musk made fun of Musk himself.
I love a my employee Sal, he spinna da dough like a no one else!! I had a to fire him because a he ask for a raise!! I say Sal, donna you have enough dough already? Prego!!
— alex (@alexqarbuckle) June 17, 2018
It got a lot of attention, and he even lost his Twitter verification for the bit.
[when I get my verified checkmark removed by Twitter for doing a bit where Elon Musk is Italian] ayyyy whoopsy daisy
— alex (@alexqarbuckle) June 17, 2018
Italian Elon Musk's run was short, though — Arbuckle changed his name and profile photo after just five glorious days.
"I ended the Italian Elon Musk bit after realizing I'd been de-verified by Twitter, because in my estimation that was the funniest possible way for the bit to end," Arbuckle wrote Mashable in an email.
While Twitter users mourned the loss of one of the greatest bits of 2018, the real Elon Musk's social media meltdown continued.
When 12 boys and their soccer coach got stranded in a flooded cave in Thailand, Musk jumped to the rescue. Sort of. He had a child-size submarine constructed so divers could pop a kid in, squeeze the metal tube through the cave's narrow passages, and safely deliver each child to dry land. Except, according to a BBC report, the head of the rescue mission called the baby sub just "not practical." While Musk was live-tweeting the mini submarine's development, human divers were actually rescuing the children one by one.
Despite being a 47-year-old adult, Musk couldn't take the criticism. In another Twitter rant he responded to the BBC's report with screenshots of emails with the co-leader of the Thai rescue team. He followed up by claiming that his sub "could do the entire journey & demonstrate at any time." He topped it off by implying that "billionaire" is a slur, and when called out on that, bragged about the number of jobs he created.
Ironically, the “billionaire” label, when used by media, is almost always meant to devalue & denigrate the subject. I wasn’t called that until my companies got to a certain size, but reality is that I still do the same science & engineering as before. Just the scale has changed.
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) July 10, 2018
No, it means I created jobs for 50,000 people directly and, through parts suppliers & supporting professions, ~250,000 people indirectly, thus supporting half a million families. What have you done?
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) July 10, 2018
Musk's response to lead diver Vern Unsworth calling his child submarine "just a PR stunt" that had "absolutely no chance of working" was icing on the cake. Unsworth is an avid caver who has extensive knowledge of the cave system the boys were stranded in. In a series of unhinged tweets — his magnum opus of Twitter rants — Musk called Unsworth "pedo guy" and claimed he "never saw this British expat guy who lives in Thailand (sus)."
That's probably the Muskiest tweet Musk has ever tweeted. Arbuckle, now formerly known as Italian Elon Musk, said it best: "No conceivable parody could be funnier than calling a rescue hero a pedophile because he made fun of your waterproof space trash boy casket."
To the people in my mentions telling me to bring back Italian Elon Musk: No. No conceivable parody could be funnier than calling a rescue hero a pedophile because he made fun of your waterproof space trash boy casket
— alex (@alexqarbuckle) July 15, 2018
He has a point — despite the multiple parody accounts that have popped up in the absence of our beloved Italian Elon Musk, none of them can sound as ridiculous as actual Elon Musk tweets.
A week later, Twitter announced that it would start locking accounts whose display names said "Elon Musk." The company said that it was to prevent cryptocurrency scams, since lookalikes would comment under Musk's tweets promising that if Twitter users sent him Ethereum, he would send even more back.
Twitter users joked that Elon Musk paid off the site so parody accounts would stop making fun of him.
Elon Musk is such a petty bastard that he got an Italian spoof account of his banned from Twitter. How naive of him to think that will stop the internet from mocking him Rise French Élon Musque and take your Italian brother's place! pic.twitter.com/aNbmt5fRtG

— thomas violence (@thomas_violence) July 26, 2018
Arbuckle has a different take:
"Twitter locking accounts that change their name to Elon Musk is some extremely hilarious shit for a website that not only enables but actually verifies violent white supremacist organizations," he told Mashable, ending his email with a dig at Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. "Terrific priorities, Jack."
French Elón Musque, who has since changed their name to @locallefties, was one of the first copycats who got popular in the weeks after Arbuckle said he wouldn't resurrect Italian Elon. They got around Twitter's new locking policy by changing up Musk's name. Through Twitter DM, they said, "i thought it might piss off elon musk which would be cool."

— YOUR LOCAL LEFTIES (@locallefties) July 28, 2018
With French Elón Musque leading the way, Swëdish Eløn Müsk, German Elon von Müsk, and South African Elon Musk rose from the ashes of Italian Elon Musk.

Someone even came up with whatever the hell this version of Elon Musk is.

While Twitter users argued over whether or not the Elon Musk parodies were actually good, everyone could agree that the fake accounts were still more bearable than seeing actual Elon Musk tweets.
french elon musk is considerably worse than italian elon musk but they're both infinitely better than original flavour elon musk

what made italian elon musk funny is, it combined a classic trope (italian accent) with the spontaneity of its execution. what made french elon musk briefly funny was that it was homage. what made south african elon musk funny was format deconstruction. nothing else will be funny

The Musk parodies, funny or not, played off national stereotypes. People worried that the accounts would take it too far and start being actively racist for the sake of making fun of Elon Musk.
Stop making national stereotype Elon Musk accounts. You will never recapture the lightning in a bottle that was Italian Elon Musk and it's only a matter of time before someone slips out of ironic chauvinism and ends up doing something actually racist

Two accounts, @ElonMuskButGay and @ElonMuskButStr8, ended up tweeting cringey, offensive Musk parodies. At that point, accounts weren't even trying to be funny — the creators were just tweeting for the sake of hopping on the bandwagon.
when the tides of war between the unfunny goobers riding the coattails of the italian elon musk account have finally subsided, these will be the only survivors left to tell the tale pic.twitter.com/nKhknSwQ3i

@locallefties dropped the French Elón Musque bit because "the joke got old and wasn’t fun anymore." They've been using their account, which now has over 52,000 followers, to promote work by LGBTQ artists and spread awareness of progressive causes.
"We want to actually use our popularity to foster change rather than make harmless fun of some tech billionaire lol," they tweeted on Thursday.
Arbuckle says he was on a remote island vacation with his family when the parodies started popping up. "I turned my phone on to see what was going on in the world and quickly turned it off and went diving for mussels. I did laugh at South African Elon Musk, though," he wrote.
While parody Elon Musk accounts have died down in the past week, the real Elon Musk is still tweeting ridiculousness. On Wednesday, he put out a call for video game developers because he wants to add "super fun games" to Tesla's center touch screen. It would be something like Pokémon Go, but "more of an adults in cars anime vibe."
Sounds dangerous but OK.
If you’re into video game development, consider applying to Tesla. We want to make super fun games that integrate the center touch screen, phone & car irl.

Something like that, but more of an adults in cars anime vibe

At this point, it's nearly impossible to parody Elon Musk because he keeps churning out wild tweets that will probably one-up any fake Musk account. But we can remember that for one glorious week in July, Twitter was overrun by Elon Musks.
