finally at that age where i'm thinking i should get a tattoo. not bc i feel strongly about it, just seems like a waste not to. i've got so much skin i'm not using

(please make me regret this offer) #maybe some deep sea horrors. a pretty watercolor of a gulper eel #once saw a person on the subway with various Skeleton Tattoos on all their limbs #i respected their commitment to the theme #but more than that i respected how all the skeletons were engaged in Activities #dancing in a ballgown. juggling its own (and two other???) skulls. swordfighting. being a mermaid skeleton #ANYWAY. the only reason i haven't already gotten tattoos is i just couldn't be bothered #i'm old enough to know i don't have any strong-but-potentially-temporary feelings driving me towards it #aesthetically i prefer decorated to non-decorated surfaces. but i'm not artistic or thrilled with commitment #honestly it feels like sheer laziness. indecisiveness--nay. immaturity!--that i HAVEN'T gotten a tattoo yet #letting all this blank canvas go to waste. tut tut i need to grow up and be an adult and get a tattoo sleeve already. #really i've put off my responsibilities long enough #(in fairness i DID at one time have 18 different piercings) #(but i took most of them out bc they interfere with wearing headphones and/or shoving my face in my pillow during Sleep Time) #(i only kept the nape piercing bc oddly enough it ended up being the most convenient. and the least painful to get now i think about it.) #(neck piercing? no problem. normal pair of earrings? Tribulations And Suffering. i don't make the rules i just poke them with a stick.)

My roommate and I are financially unstable while he does through a long, complicated diagnosis process that started as we stopped being homeless. I just got a job, and it's going to pay well and allow us to get caught up and stable, but I don't get my check for a week and a half. We have rent due on the 1st, our storage bill due at the end of the month, and we are out of food.

I’m absolutely losing it over the fact the Alcina sent Bela ALONE to go after Ethan. She knows that her eldest daughter is capable that’s why she let her handle him alone.

Meanwhile she teamed up with her wild daughter to probably a) enjoy a good hunt with her and b)keep an eye on her because it’s Cassandra and she needs to make sure that her middle daughter doesn’t get too wild while chasing after Ethan.

As for Daniela— Alcina was just like nope this one is definitely sitting this hunt out and actually locked her someplace safe. Like she put her youngest in the library so she can lose herself in her books while staying away from danger.

simon being around the same height as izzy when they first started dating and thinking that was how it would always be bc iz had stopped growing by that point and simon was literally dead. and then simon growing again after edom. and izzy noticing it from afar when she would go to his band's shows in secret, noticing it from up close when she and magnus approached him at st. xavier's, noticing it every time she ran into him during his time at the shadowhunter academy. it's weird. it's unsettling. like sure jace and alec had continued to grow in those years too, but she'd become so familiar with a simon who was never going to grow again... and it only adds to the distance. that height marks something so irrevocably different in him. but not necessarily in a bad way. a grown simon is a matured simon, a simon who has experienced shit and learned from it. and that simon falling for izzy all over again, that simon being the one she claims as her own, that simon--that taller simon--being the one she knows she'll love forever....
