If you're sorta making this into a vtuber account i might as well ask you, with those pngtuber models, do you have a guide on how to get started with them? Also, do characters need to have humanlike face proportions to be able to like, work correctly? What if you wanted to make a bird, where the mouth is like really long and beak shaped? not incomprehensible at all! whenever i get a chance i would definitely love to put together tutorials, both quick step-by-step guides and longer videos (bc idk about you but for me, the ideal is when BOTH types of tutorial exist lmao!!!)

in the meantime, there are tons of tutorials that already exist on youtube for pngtubing, and a few for setting up in honk specifically, but i'm not sure how many exist for best ways to actually draw the model and organize parts (layer organization etc) and stuff like that bc i didn't look for those when i was getting started. when i get around to it any guides i make will probably be more about that than the tech stuff, bc other people already have the tech covered!

honk has documentation/guides of its own, and the community page on itch.io can be really good for troubleshooting specific issues. honk is my primary recommendation if you want to get into pngtubing -- the program is paid ($12 USD) and model setup is a bit more laborious, but only in the beginning, and i think the liveliness of the lip sync and the eye tracking is well worth it! a downside is that honk doesn't currently have gif support, which a lot of other pngtubing programs do have, but there are plans to add it in the future.

this is the method i've used for setting up a discord reactive pngtuber (the second method on the page, "stream kit reactive images" - i know it may seem like a lot of steps, but if you take your time and follow the instructions closely it's not so bad! i am NOT tech savvy and still figured it out, so anyone can.) you only need discord and OBS to run this setup, and you can fiddle with it to do collabs (multiple people's pngtubers all on screen at the same time, lighting up and talking while you're in a discord call! fun for multiplayer games), but of course it can also be your main setup with just you alone in a private voice channel as your mic input.

and a good middle ground between honk and the discord reactive setup would be a program like veadotube mini! it does the same thing as the discord reactive setup (display a talk sprite when you're talking and a silent one when you're not), but in a self-contained program on your computer just like honk. i haven't used veadotube myself, but i see other pngtubers mention it as their program of choice.

i do have one video up of myself rigging my model in honk -- i wouldn't call it a guide or a tutorial though, because it's very informal and we also ran into a pretty annoying bug that made the process go less smoothly than i would have hoped :') (also the first few mins of video are muted bc my music got dmca flagged lmfao but the important stuff is all there!) but anyway if you just want a quick look at how a model looks getting put together in the program you might find that interesting.

you could ABSOLUTELY do something like the bird u described in honk, it's really really flexible. the way honk works is u just have to have different images drawn for different lip synch mouth shapes (try googling "animation lip sync mouth shapes" and check out the image results for an idea of what i mean), assign them to different consonant/vowel sounds in the program, and it automatically matches it up for you with voice recognition. so imo the challenge in that case would be an art challenge (figure out how you want to draw lip sync shapes with a beak), not a technical/program-specific challenge. but if you didn't feel like fucking with all that, you could just repeatedly use the same open beak image for all the sounds, and it would just make the beak open and close when you talk!

i haven't tried making a honk model where the mouth breaks the silhouette, which might be the case with a bird character like that depending on how you have the head angled, but theoretically i don't see why it would be an issue. a regular pngtuber would be really straightforward as well!

I believe a blog like this existed before, But as far as I know it's gone inactive.

You can submit your own creatures if you want! My only rules are that i'd prefer you add on a description, Since rain world sprites can be a bit hard to make out sometimes, And to specify if you have a mod like Emerald's Tweaks that adds additional rare creature variation or not. Creatures that use Emerald's Tweaks, As well as any similar mods, Will be under the #purposed organism tag to distinguish them from purely vanilla/downpour creatures, as to not mislead anyone.

I occasionally reblog regular rain world stuff and post headcanons, too, Not just creatures! Everything that isn't a creature will be tagged with #not a creature.

All creatures will be tagged accordingly to make scrolling through the archive easier. If I miss any let me know!

Modded content is allowed, And will be tagged with #modded content for those who want to filter it out. Downpour content will also be tagged with #downpour.

Just, behold. Aiura is rightfully angry at Kuusuke, and she's going to both get vengeance and help her dear friend at the same time. After all, someone has to do so.

Also random Iterator Toritsuka thought. When he lashes out at Kuusuke, inadvertently starting the entire thing, he was just expressing an opinion he, Aiura, low-key Saiki, and a bunch of other Iterators had for a while. Everyone was sick and tired of his complaints about Saiki's existence, and Toritsuka just so happened to be the one to snap. Anyone could've snapped and be the catalyst. Everyone knows this, and Aiura has pointed this out to Toritsuka many times after Kuusuke cut off all connections and started draining away at his and Saiki's shared water supply, causing Toritsuka to tell her what happened in an attempt at asking for help at figuring out how to fix this.

But even with this logic, even with others supporting him, the guilt is still there. Sure he's rightfully angry at Kuusuke, but he was still the one to finally light the fuse to everything that happened, even if it was by accident.

But he knew how to help revive Saiki. Sure it'll take a while for everything to be in place for his plan to safely happen, but that's just more time to prepare. So he started to carefully build a Purposed Organism. One that'll survive the trip, revive Saiki, then stick around as a companion to Saiki.

Sure the end result, Nendou, was a bit simple minded, but he's still perfect for the task. Sure he had to rebuild his genome almost from scratch right when he thought Nendou was complete due to it attacking Nendou's body, but that just meant he had more time to figure out a route from his Super Structure to Saiki's submerged one and find his Puppet Body. Sure the most direct route has Kuusuke's Super Structure right in between his and Saiki's, but that just means that Nendou can wreck the place, just a bit. Maybe steal one of Kuusuke's precious pearls to pay a Scavenger toll.

So he made the Slag Code Neuron, gave it to Nendou, then prayed that his efforts weren't pointless. Because if they were, he doesn't know if he'll still be sane.

again just: yes to everything. even if toritsuka feels at fault, the only one responsible is kuusuke himself. anyone couldve caused him to snap. hell, he couldve caused himself to snap. it was just sheer unluckiness that made toritsuka the end result

also very very crack idea: scug nendou has the chin as remnants of Rot cysts that almost afflicted him lmfao. he doesnt have the Rot, its inert and can't harm him or reproduce, but those cysts just remained even with his genome being fixed

toritsuka was very worried when his purposed organism seemed much less intelligent than the average slugcat, which already aren't exactly geniuses. but nendou succeeded anyways because at the very least he never forgot the goal he'd been programmed with.

his efforts were not pointless. and while kusuo can't communicate with anyone or do much at all, and can barely remember anything...he's alive again, and his puppet isn't laying face down in the mud and water anymore, so thats something

Hi so Baby Hotline (aka the Bad Egg/PokeSpe Horror fic for those who have been following me longer) has gotten a lot more attention/praise than I was expecting LMFAO but people are starting to ask how the Bad Egg works. I did have a lore dump about it in the rough draft (it was written in the format of an email a researcher was writing) but ultimately scrapped it because it felt too clunky and I also realized that even if I offhandedly mentioned Gold surviving people still might not think he would've like recovered, so I decided to stick with Silver's POV through the ending

HOWEVER since people are interested here's a giant infodump about some of the lore I came up with, warning it will be long and also include gross alien anatomy/parasite stuff as well as descriptions of dead animals (pokemon), and of course massive warning for Horror. Viewer discretion advised and all that

So the first question on a lot people's minds is probably "where did they come from", which uhh. Doesn't really have an answer! Silver's assessment of the situation, "someone somewhere is fucking with something" is about as clear as it gets. These things are being created because something is going horribly wrong and the universe might be collapsing a little tiny bit. The Bad Eggs are hardly the only sign of this that exists (if I write sequels you'll see what I mean) but they are the most immediately alarming because they 1. Are very good at killing things and 2. Reproduce quickly. Who exactly is causing their appearance is a story for another day (aka I haven't gotten there yet LMAO)

... okay, so fair warning in advance, you will really need suspension of disbelief on this one. It's hard making glitch Pokémon "make sense" when glitches are pretty much just code not being able to make sense of itself. Additionally this will probably be pretty "why you shouldn't explain The Horrors"-y but I think the implications of this thing are terrifying enough on their own for it to be okay to ruin the reader's imagination a bit. It's all optional info anyways

Initially, as mentioned in the fic, these seemed to only affect wild egg-laying Pokémon, and began to randomly pop up throughout Japan, with the most condensed populations in Hoenn and Kanto. Bird-like Pokémon in these areas were seemingly dropping like flies and locals would report living specimens acting strangely, like they were disoriented or hallucinating. Dead ones would be found with wounds littering their legs and undersides with a majority of their blood drained.

It took researchers a while to figure out what was happening here, for a variety of reasons. Mainly, nobody really thought to check if the eggs Themselves were you know. Blood-sucking parasites because who would think that initially. They just seemed like duds, and researchers were chalking everything up to some other form of undiscovered parasite that they couldn't find any evidence of. It wasn't until someone (with alarming difficulty) managed to cut one of the "dud" eggs in half (after noticing they couldnt be cracked), revealing the whole thing to be a living organism with a stomach where the baby should be, that scientists went "Oh. Oh no."

While scientists were figuring that out, they figured they had no reason to worry about this happening to capitve-bred Eggs. "Eggs" (capital E) aren't the same thing as "eggs". While there's a lot of scientific theories about them, the best explanation anyone has for how they actually work is Johto myths about them being literal gifts from gods delivered by Celebi which is. Amusingly enough probably accurate, because it's Pokémon. So when Elm's colleague found an unhatchable Egg and one of the people working with it fell ill after staying with it a few days, nobody had any reason to assume it was much more than a coincidence. And then the events of Baby Hotline happened.

As for how these things work, their anatomy is very . Alien JDJQJDJ

They're very, very overly literal versions of the term "brood parasite" (a bird that lays its eggs in the nests of other birds species, leaving them to feed its chick(s)). They pretend to be eggs (or Eggs) to feed on a host's blood so they can reproduce. For the first day or so a Bad Egg is in a nest, it puts out a pheromone that makes it incredibly appealing to nearby Pokémon. This usually makes the mother of the brood pay special attention to it, but can also cause egg-eating Pokémon to fall victim to its bullshit. Once the egg has chosen a host and fed for the first time, it shifts gears into the opposite - it willingly repulses other Pokémon away, preventing anything else from attempting to harm its now-vulnerable host. (This doesn't work out great for Eggy because a Trainer's Pokémon tend to you know. Defend them from things they find threatening)

Bad Eggs are capable of breaking and manipulating their own shell, which is significantly thicker than an actual Egg's. Using Struggle, their only move, they can slice small wounds into their host's skin. On and under the surface of their shells is a thin layer of toxin they basically inject into their host's body during this process - on the surface, its pretty much Just an anticoagulant with some muscle relaxing properties, making feeding easier and keeping the host complacent, and it's even fairly mild. However, it stays in the host's body for a good while, meaning repeated feedings inject more and more of this stuff in them, eventually resulting in more side effects - excessive fatigue, headaches, nausea, and eventually delirium and hallucinations. Victims usually don't actually die from blood loss alone, but from the compounded effects of the venom along with eventual dehydration/starvation.

Once the shell is fully broken, it reveals what's functionally its "mouth" - it looks exactly like the shell and takes up the whole "body", but instead of hard and smooth, it's soft and absorbent. Underneath that layer is the egg's very gross alien anatomy; to skim over that, it's got some very primitive vocal chords it uses to (somewhat poorly) imitate the sounds of a baby bird, and some muscles for rocking itself more effectively. All three of those layers are extremely difficult to cause physically damage to and heal quickly if any harm is successfully enacted. The rest of its body from there is just Stomach. It feeds as much as it can until it's host dies, so it's stomach can actually expand if necessary (hence it endlessly getting heavier). It can regrow the shell at any time to maintain appearances, but usually stops doing this by the time the host is too far gone to care.

Fortunately for their victims, if the host at any point gets dragged away from the Egg for extended periods of time, the Egg is basically powerless and the host can usually recover. Physically, anyway, because they're probably Super traumatized after that experience.

I've mentioned a few times that these things reproduce. The problem is that nobody knows how this happens, given nobody has seen actual evidence of it happening, just that it Does. Shortly after the host dies or leaves, the Egg goes dormant for about half an hour before suddenly returning to the state it was in before it ever had a host. It's stomach empties completely, and about a week later, with little more warning, there's more reports of Bad Eggs and dead birds - and given that when Elm returns to confiscate and dispose of Eggy it seems like the reproduction process already occurred, there's... probably going to be some dead Humans in the not-too-far future , too.

what id like to see explored in future games / i fanwork: her identity! we see roxas's frustration and anger about being his own person plenty but we hardly see xion upset at her predicament. i think this is because she wants to do the right thing, not because shes okay with the situation. i really want to see xion's feelings about not having her own identity explored, given that everything about her is based on either sora or his memories of kairi and she was basically created in a lab as a tool for organization 13. she should feel weird about existing in the first place, especially next to roxas and naminé, who dont have the same history behind their creation

in addendum to that, i want to see xions character design change to something more unique. she already has a new outfit, but id love to see her have a new hairstyle (whether she grows it out or just puts it up) so she has something different than a mirror of kh1 kairi's hair. i think ive also mentioned that i think itd be interesting if xion had her own eye color after kh3 (side note its bullshit we never got to see her norted eyes in kh3. she shouldve played a bigger role in the story too but thats another rant) to symbolize that shes her own person now, not a puppet meant to copy sora. lastly she !!! deserves !!! her own keyblade!!! there's so many cool keyblades from days to choose from & theres the weapons from her boss fight - theres no reason for her to still be using the kingdom key and i really hope she gets her own soon.

i keep thinking about what you said about xion not being another "nice" girl character and im like... so true. i dont think xion would be mean i want to go about it in a way that doesnt completely rewrite her character but i think exploring how she copes with her past w/ both organizations & her identity & trauma would be interesting, especially with how it parallels to naminé's own way of coping and dealing with her own trauma. theyre like Shy vs introverted to me lmfao i think xion tries to be friendly but overall she prefers to stay close to the people she feels safe around. i want to see xion be rude but in the autism way where she doesnt mean it shes just not aware. and stuff like that i guess. this paragraph was just word vomit my bad

THE SEA SALT TRIO... theyre seriously the family of all time i love them so much. ill just focus on xion here because this is already super long. BUT AXEL LOVES XION SO MUCH IT MAKES ME SICK THEYRE NOT TALKED ABOUT ENOUGH.. the implication that lea subconsciously keeps his coat on in kh3 so xion (and roxas) can recognize him makes me so emotional. also the fact that lea just clicks with kairi because she also holds a part of xion inside her... AND WHEN HE BUYS HER AN ICE CREAM AND HE DOESNT EVEN REMEMBER WHY HES BUYING THREE. UGH. i love them so much. theyre definitely one of those duos found in the trios that dont get much attention which just draws me towards them more (like riku and kairi). i think lea is absolutely riddled with guilt about the events of days so he never lets xion forget that shes loved. i think xion is touch-averse *except* when it comes to roxas and lea because she feels safest around them.❤️

to end i will discuss roxas and xion . they are like a little orange cat and a little black cat to me. halloween colored. theyre so small i love them so much. i imagine when xion first meets the twilight town gang shes jealous bc roxas has other friends :( but roxas assures her shes super duper special to him and no one else can take her place in his life. they have such a unique bond that i dont know if any of the other characters have with each other. just something so special about those two. when it feels like no one else understands they have each other... and i think that makes for some angst when xion struggles with her own issues that even roxas cant relate to

Ok, so since the only hualian fan fics I've enjoyed have been either written by you or one recommended by you I humbly beg you to recommend more! I find it so hard to find fan fics that write those characters with all their nuances. And/or i beseech thee to write more hualian? Im dying of thirst. Hahah <3

THANK YOU KINDLY omg that's incredibly sweet of you to say. hualian's an absolute delight to write and I think the scenes of them in Farmer's Almanac are some of my favorite things I've written to date lolololol. I'm more than happy to write more of them ;; While they're not a prominent part in my upcoming leverage AU they certainly get a moment or two!!

First fic that came to mind—objectification/immobilization kink fic.

Turned out that Hua Cheng kind of had a thing for when Xie Lian pretended he didn't exist.

It's brilliant, hot and specific as hell and my favorite take on post-canon hualian kink to date.

LOVED this fic—canon divergence, princess and the pea retelling.

“Must be a spoilt brat,” Hua Cheng threw out randomly. “Must be utterly incapable of looking after themselves. Must have no useful skills, except ones that might be useful to me.”

Intriguing, entertaining, sweet, and fun!!! I had a very good time with this fic.

I think most people have read this fic but regardless, it's lovely. Post-canon hualian re: their largely glossed-over-by-canon sex life, a character study of how they get from point A to point Dick-in-Ass.

THIIIIIIIIIIIS. Hualian modern breakup AU—I remember being absolutely blown away by the premise. I guess at this point I just need to go read all of trufflehargau's (great name lmfao) hualian fics 'cause they're rocking the characterization game for me. Needy messy codependent San Lang isn't something everyone can pull off but this author absolutely fucking does. I didn't even realize it updated!!!!! I'm gonna read chapter 2 now!!! Aaahhh!!!!!!!

Aaaand speaking of modern AUs—betts' Digging for Orchids. Of fucking course. I reread this frequently. ex-actor!XL and artist!HC. The plot progression mirrors their canon development well, and their dynamic just feels completely in line with canon.

22. How organized are you with your writing? Describe to me your organization method, if it exists. What tools do you use? Notebooks? Binders? Apps? The Cloud?

hm this is. this is a funny one to answer bc i feel like i am part incredibly organized and part chaotic mess lmfao. bc like i use google drive for my fics and i have a RIGID organizational structure for that. like i have a folder for each of the fandoms i've written for and within that fandom folder i have a writing folder and within that writing folder i have my docs. and those are organized by docs i've started and are either waiting to be written or are in the middle of being written which kind of hang out in the folder loosely. but then i have a separate folder for my finished fics, a separate folder for my finished fics' plan/outline docs (if they have one), and a separate folder for each event/challenge/project i've participated in. so like for steddie i have a folder for each of the zines i'm in and a big bang folder.

but then when it comes to what i'm actually writing... that can get messier lmao. i kind of write across like 3 different platforms? like i use google docs for my main document to write in, but i also write in the notes app on my phone, and i handwrite a lot of things too (mostly bc i cant use my computer at work to write fic so i resort to good ol fashioned pen and paper lol). so it can get tricky trying to remember WHERE i wrote that one piece i'm looking for lol and i have to dig and dig through sheets of notebook paper and my insane amount of notes on my phone and the docs that i have (bc sometimes if it's getting too long i'll split up the doc too just to get a clean work space).

i also have a binder that is full of like old fic stuff i've jotted down, whether that be old snippets i've written, or ideas i've scribbled onto a sticky note, or something i printed out to edit. that binder has stuff from sooo many different fandoms in it lol. i've tried organizing it by fandom and i've bunched all the stuff for one specific idea into a paperclipped stack or i've put it in one of those sheet protector pages lol.

but yeah it's like organized chaos i guess you could say. but it works for the most part so! here i am! lol

29. Where do you draw your inspiration? What do you do when the inspiration well runs dry?

ooh! easy question!! i draw inspiration from literally anything and everything!! the world is full of stuff that makes GREAT stories!! so yeah i absolutely pull from everything around me - whether that's looking up prompts on tumblr, watching a show/movie or reading a book and wanting to au it, something a friend/coworker/someone random on the street said, an object i see that sparks something in me, a color, a weather pattern, a mood, a song, a recipe, my own feelings, other people's feelings, my life experiences, other people's life experiences.

inspiration really truly comes from everwhere!

when the well runs dry i try to dig deeper. i try to look through prompts that might spark something, even if it's a tiny little ficlet. oh i also like to look through old ideas i've had for other fandoms when this happens bc sometimes the best thing to do is to recycle!! bc like the inspiration was there at some point, and looking back on it helps to respark that and bring it back! and trying to revamp it to fit my current fandom/pairing really helps get the gears turning again too.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to word this that doesn’t sound potentially insane for a stranger to say someone but regardless! I’ve been so much happier since following you I feel. I turn 25 in 2 months and for some reason I’ve just felt so like weird and upset bc I’ve been thinking things like “am I too old for this?” And feeling genuine shame especially bc like pokemon is really precious to me which is weird bc it’s been with me my whole life. you’ve just brought a sense of like happiness and comfort that I can just exist with the things that make me happy and it doesn’t diminish anything I’m doing in my life as an adult! Im really glad I found you on ao3 last year. Your works have been something I hold dear to me!!!! Im really sorry for rambling and if this was really fucking weird I didn’t mean for it to be.

I don't think this is a weird thing to say at all! I think this is something everyone thinks at some point but honestly? You're not LMAO

And you essentially answered this question yourself. You've been with pokemon since you were a child, of course it's important to you. Playing the game or any game or ANY MEDIA during your formative years sticks with you. It teaches you about yourself about things you like and don't like. It starts that process of critical thinking and media consumption even if you didn't realize it at the time.

There's nothing wrong with that. Like pokemon is marketed toward adults, too. There's championships for pokemon. For adults. There's rap showcases about pokemon. There's meetups and contests and zines and everything. You're not alone in still loving pokémon and you shouldn't feel ashamed for continuing to enjoy something you loved as a kid.

I get that I'm older than you, but when I was a kid, fandom WOULDN'T EXIST without those 30, 40, and 50 year olds who created content and organized events and held the fandoms together. They would archive and back up fic. They'd exchange emails and chronicle things like??? And it was because of those adults that we have sites like AO3 now.

If those people hadn't helped the fandom grow, I never would've started writing. It's because of old adults that I got inspired and tried. all these people, no matter their age, enjoy this show or game or whatever and that's what fandom is. That's what it's about.

Can you imagine if fandom was like…all kids??? There would be nothing here. There would be nothing. Like maybe something every once in a while but like?? Who would make and sell merch? Who would do commissions??? Who would organize zines like?? Adults are integral. So don't feel ashamed. Be happy. Like life is too fucking short. If you're not hurting anyone, then go off I say. People can enjoy whatever they want. Like fantasy football or marvel and DC. WHATEVER!!

for years social media has had a chokehold on the internet, and it got REAL hard to have your own unique space that wasn't contained within some bigger network. i get it; i also haven't left facebook, despite my posturing and threats, because noobody else did, either, and I wanted to stay in touch with them.

but proboards still exists. it has this whole time. neocities now also exists. the web revival is small but happening, and people ARE finally leaving social media, for better or worse-- some cutting off digital connections entirely rather than just finding different ways of connecting.

if we want to keep (or reintroduce) those elements of web 1.0 that we long for-- the customization/involvement in web dev, the community elements, the organization without algorithm, the charm of it all-- we have to be the ones to preserve that, and like... we can! we can just do that, friends. we literally have the ability right now. here it is. you miss forums, you say?? yet, will you not post on one???

so far there is no real guideline for this forum so don't worry about that. i made it for me and my friends so we can still have somewhere to chat if they're in FB jail or whatever. there's no other goal or unifying criteria. most of my friends are queer and disabled, so you'll wanna be able to get along w queer disabled folks, but you don't have to be one yourself. you dont even have to be my friend already, getting to know each other is kinda the whole point! and maybe it'll change, maybe if people actually come hang out w me the concept will solidify or we'll come up with a solid theme, or a new name or something. that'd be great cus I kinda hate that we called it the common room now, i wish it was something less ... british sounding :-) lmfao but w/e. im not gonna make a new one unless anyone is actually talking to me. or if I think of a good name myself maybe idk. we'll see

so ive been on twitter a lot the pst few days and the consistent topic on my timeline is jt miller. and ive been thinking canucks isnt a team that is sure to make the playoffs every year and they are far away from being a contending team. now i love miller like the lotto line? best thing to exist. but if i were miller and im 30 and i still have no cup under my name and i see teams like canes, rangers and islanders wanting me on their roster bro i’d take first class out of vancouver. if im an nhl player like isnt that the end goal of every player? to get a cup and from how i see it its not the canucks who can get him there. islanders were bad this year bcos of the coaching probably but they are a good team and nyr and canes? bro they need someone like him i feel like hes a missing piece that those teams need. besides if he wants to get paid with the money he deserves after that 99pts? i dont think its the nucks that can give him that like dude the whole organization needs fixing from the front office to the locker room since apparently everyone got so used to losing that players are so casual with it

10. Has a piece of writing ever “haunted” you? Has your own writing haunted you? What does that mean to you?

Oh, yeah. Literally all my fanfics from when I was 13/14 because OOF. Not Good. No. And I don't just mean that in the objective way, as they were written poorly, sure; but I also mean that they were something I wouldn't write today. So, when my own writing haunts me, I feel embarrassed and ashamed of it, that's what it means for me.

So, I use Google Doc and Microsoft Word on my laptop, such as the Google Doc and ColorNote app on my phone, depending on it. Or I simply write in Tumblr already if it's just a headcanon post. I'm not usually organised. All my fics are only categorised by actor or character. So all fics of one actor are in one document (Paul Dano has 200 pages now). In terms of writing, I let it go with the flow, which is why it sometimes just runs away from me. But my own stories that I know will be longer have an outline by now, so I don't forget what the plot was (because it happened before and now I'm paying the price by being stuck, rip).

25. What is a weird, hyper-specific detail you know about one of your characters that is completely irrelevant to the story?

Oof, good question. Difficult question. I can’t come up with anything truly hyper-specific, but: Alastair loves dark chocolate and still eats it; even though he technically shouldn't, considering he's a vampire and doesn't normally eat human food anymore. (At least you know him, everyone else reading this is gonna be confused, djksdksg.)

Honestly, I have no idea. Maybe that everything has to have a clear plot? That there have to be descriptions and what-not? After all, I rely more on emotions, impressions, dialogue and such things. Hm.
