2012! April and Rise! April headcannons

So here's the thing, April is my favorite character in Rise and the 2012 series and I am DYING for some crossover content of them interacting but I havnt seen a lot of it out there so I'm making it myself.

I don't realy know how I want them to meant but let's just go with the scenario where rise! Leo is messing with his portals and somehow the 2012 gang ends up in the rise universe and thets when the aprils meet.

- 12!april had autism and rise!April had ADHD and they both make the autism and ADHD solidarity meme.

-12!april can't cook to save her live but rise!April is a great cook thanks to some prior job experience. Rise!April is 12!april's favorite cook (don't tell Mikey)

-Rise!April loves 12!april but she hates her outfit (she is right about that) 12!april loves rise!April's outfit but thinks the leggings and skirt are impracticable (she is right about that) so the both go shopping at thrift stores to look for stuff.

-rise!April was very freaked out when she discovered that her counter part was half KRANG (because let's be real. The Krang did just traumatize her and her friends)

-12! April on the other hand was a little surprised that rise! April had been possessed by Karai in the past but she and the boys have seen so much wierd stuff that she got over it real quick (she was more surprised that Karai was the boys grandma instead of their sister)

-12!april grew up with the original bratz dolls but she is more of a monster high fan and was hyped to hear that there are multiple reboots of the franchise and

rise!April is a bratz fan who grew up with monster high and she asks 12!april all about what the bratz franchise was like back in the day.

-Rise!April is a total theater kid thanks to donnie and Leo and 12!april is a movie nerd Thanks to Leo and Mikey. Where rise! april can sing almost every song from rent and knows the whole script and all the choreography and is ready to dance and sing whenever 12!knows where the movie was shot, how long it took, what the buget was, how much is made, what happened on set who played in it etc.

-12!april is a little jealous that rise!April has know the boys for so long while she met them when she was 16. She would have loved to have the boys in her life sooner.

-when rise!April learned about 12!aprils powers she asked her to help her mess with the purple dragons 12!april was totally ready to mess up some street thugs so she was hesitant about messing with some random highschoolers. That was until she met them and after that encounter she made all their tech levitate to spook them.

-12!april wasn't allowed to have any social media because her dad was scared that the Krang might find them but rise!April has introduced her to tiktok and pinterest and let me tell you the gilr is hooked.

I can't really think of more headcannons right now but these are fun to make so I'll think of some soon. If anybody has any crossover content of the aprils interacting please don't be afraid to @me cause I'd love to see it. Fics, fan art, headcannons, anything honestly.

So I’ve seen people talk about 2k12 April finding Rise Donnie attractive because of his nonchalant bad boy with a heart of gold persona and 2k12 Donnie being jealous of his Rise counterpart because of that. And while that’s interesting and all, I raise this counter point.

2k12 April finding (Rise) Casey Jr attractive.

Not only does Casey Jr have good looks that most teen girls would swoon over, but he was also partly raised by the Rise turtles, especially future Leo and future Mikey. So you know that boy was taught how to be emotionally honest and open.

2k12 has teased the possibility that 2k12 April might be attracted to 2k12 Casey. So its highly likely that she would find Casey Jr, a version of Casey that is mature (both in mannerisms and his emotions) and polite, attractive.

Now imagine the hilarious awkwardness of it all. Casey Jr and the Rise turtles being weirded out about 2k12 April finding CJ attractive and flirting with him. 2k12 Donnie being jealous and completive with CJ like he is/was with 2k12 Casey, only to fall flat because CJ is much more respectful than 2k12 Casey and shows interest in his scientific endeavors. While 2k12 Casey is both jealous and weirdly proud. Because even though 2k12 April might not be flirting with him, she’s still flirting with a version of him.

TMNT 2012 AU that i have trapped in my head and i need to get OUT✨️

Time travel and apocalyptic future where the kraang is living it's best life

Leo, Raph and Donnie played with things they Shouldn't Have and ended lost in a mess of a New York, years in the future and things look Bad

Mikey stayed behind, very much scared and lost, like, they were just THERE and now they AREN'T

Years into the future, the turtles go to their home just to find it abandoned and destroyed and without Master Splinter or Mikey or ICK or anyone on sight

Begins a race to catch up with old friends and enemies, find out all the things that happened in the last years, and defeat the kraang once and for all.

Donnie is flabbergasted by the fact that April and Casey have a daughter

A DAUGHTER

Mikey, April and Casey are living their best lives being rebel leaders and parents of a little menace with powers (someone PLEASE help them)

Raph has someone that FINALLY matches his anger issues (he is not amused by this, he hates it actually)

The Trio has a List Of Incidents that had happened in the last years

Leo is Not Amused

Little Jones is Raph's Fan Number 1, he tries to doesn't hide how proud he is of that

'Yeah little Jones, i'm THAT awesome' 'that didn't happen, Raph' 'shut it, Don, we cool people are talking'

Donnie, Leo and Raph Do Not Like being treated like kids so suddenly, they are NINJAS, MIKEY, NINJAS

Nobody is treating these three teenagers like adults and they HATE IT

Mikey puts them in time out at one point. Leo had a crisis, Raph was so angry that he couldn't even speak and Donnie was in mourning. He had ONE little brother but not anymore. Now HE is the little brother. He didn't appreciated the privileges of being a Big Brother enough

They Don't Like the fact that Mikey is now older and they try to be Cool with it

(The pain goes away when Mikey gives him kraang tech later, he actually like being spoiled like this, a little)

They are not coping well, that's their LITTLE BROTHER, YOUR HONOUR.

Casey is CONVINCED that she and April are hanging out on a regular basis without them, he does not like that. Karai ALWAYS has the best missions and NEVER takes Casey with her

I have nothing against Kendra nor Kendratello, I think most of you have actually done a good job at being civil and to that I give my honest thanks. I personally do not like the ship because of my own headcanons and feelings but those are my own and shouldn’t stop you.

BUT what were not going to do is pretend Kendra is some how Donnie’s savior from the big bad 2012 april.

Like I need you guys to be fucking for real here. She’s canonically manipulative, befriending rise Donatello just so she can steal his gear such as his battle she’ll which ya know is pretty fucking important to him given his sensory issues and his soft shell. Used his fear of beach balls against him (which granted is funny as fuck ) and befriended shelldon to win a race and subsequently dumped him when lost and is just canonically a dick to friends/step sibling.

Don’t get me wrong she’s not straight up evil or anything’s she’s a hammy bully antagonist but that’s just it she’s A ANTAGONIST.
