Queen Veronica the Fifth (V)! The Late Queen of Venostar, and Toxecia's mother. Vivi for short because 'Veronica V'.

I've been meaning to put her ref together for a while. Have a bonus Riki Fuhrmann style of her too (: Plus child Toxecia.

A rather strict Queen, but she cared for her people and her family, and was overall cherished in the kingdom. She's the Fifth Veronica in a massive family tree of royal spiders. She's a mix of bossy and nice, a caring person hidden behind a status to uphold. She has a rather deep, sultry voice.

She took her role very seriously as Queen, the result of generations of Queens passing their hopes and dreams onto their children. Why is that, you might ask? It's because their species have very short lifespans... barely able to live longer than 40 years. A bad gene or something, that kinda just... kills them after a certain amount of time. Venostar scientists have been studying how to rid this gene for almost 100 years to allow a Queen to live a fully prosperous life.

Her husband (To be named + designed) was the perfect balance she needed in her life. Fun, full of energy, silly and hopelessly romantic. He's basically like Asgore without the murdering kids part lmao. With him, Veronica almost seems like a different person.

Together they have Toxecia, their darling little daughter. Sadly Veronica and Tox don't get along very well for the majority of their life, and Tox finds more comfort with her father. He taught her how to use a sword during their time together.

As a child, Tox develops an over-productive poison gland. It first occurs during a speech Veronica is giving to the kingdom. That day would send the family into a depressive spiral.

Most of the kingdom views Toxecia as a freak, a cursed child. She can't leave the castle without leaving a trail of paralyzing poison around the town. Eventually Veronica prevents her from leaving the castle unattended. Tox would only go into town with her father from there on out... until the day that he passes away, when Tox was a young teen.

Veronica and Tox both suffer from this loss. Veronica missing that positive, lighthearted personality that helped her for so long, and Tox losing a lot of confidence. Tox inherits her dads Sword (The one Veronica is holding in the 2nd pic)

Veronica would try to find a new love, but struggled to do so. She became more flirty in this time, and also more depressed. She had gotten close to another female spider at least, but that was a secret kept to them alone 🤫

Sadly, as her time was coming, she prepared Toxecia to inherit the throne, and Veronica would pass away when Tox was barely 18.

She remains buried beside her husband. Tox visits their grave weekly, even if they didn't get along, she misses them both... the royal advisor takes her parents place now.

Alone and young, Toxecia goes on to rule a kingdom that rejects her.

A farmer/ harvester for Toxecia's lil kingdom. Someone has to harvest and take care of all the apricots!!! Idk if i mentioned that before lmao, but Toxecia's kingdom is very well known for their abundant Apricot farms and products!

5. What are some of your OCs biggest fears?

Aldwin has a fear of fire- after being caught in a massive forest fire that scarred him both mentally and physically, he avoids it as much as possible. Even at a campfire he'll keep a far distance.

Medea fears being alone, abandoned, forgotten... she clings to those she feels comfortable around and doesn't like being alone for long periods of time. She's also afraid of Queen Sectonia- specifically Wasptonia, for obvious reasons as a tyrannical queen- but their relationship used to be much better as a spider.

Toxecia fears death, and all that accompanies the concept of it. Her spider species have very short lifespans... she's already lost her parents, the former king and queen... and now shes alone to carry their burdens, their legacy, worrying about living up to their name with who knows how long she has to live...

It's a disease they are seemingly born with that eventually wins over.

9. Favourite OC?

Is it cheating to say these 6...? Fr tho I love them all and they kinda work off each other a lot, and they've just made me very happy since I made them 🧡

And uh here's 3 other faves from the past! Dianbink, Marax and Emery.

To keep it short- Dianbink is just one of my fave designs that I've made. A Carbink-Diancie hybrid. He was my old pokesona when I was a Diancie fanatic lmao.

Marax is probably the pokemon OC I've drawn the MOST of. Edgy Marshadow with selfish goals, #Infinite inspired lmao.

Emery is a psychopathic Hollow Knight bug. I just love her personality and how wacky and funny she can be. And badass.

7. What are your favourite relationships between your OCs? (romantic or platonic!)

I was hoping to draw more fun doodles but I'm tired, its late, and tumblr made it hard for me so I hope screenshots will suffice 😂

Romantically my fave has got to be Bink and Himemi. Its so obscure, its so... impossible, some might say. But I love the odd pairing and Bink is dedicated to doing anything he can for Hime 🧡

Lately Sylvette and Toxecia have been VERY very fun for me too. Friendship? Betrayal? Maybe a lil more...? But the most important part is how much they love each other and needed each other.

Tbh I dont think any of my OCs have ever felt so... genuine before??? Idk theres just something about these two spiders that I love so much, they're inseparable!

Halaro and Puffe are quite a funny duo too, I have yet to really do much with that tho!

Same goes for my Hollow Knight bugs. Harrold and Emery can be quite funny together I feel, and having a possible poly relationship with Eralind... still thinking on that though, so its not official yet.

Joke I had when Silksongs 2nd trailer finally dropped. I started working on a piece aaaand immediately dropped it for more Kirby stuff. This is also a little sequel to the last comic featuring these three.

I really like the ‘Dream Friends’ piece I did for Halaro, it was fun!

I thought I posted this here at the time, but I guess I didn’t... this is the HK piece that I dropped. I’ll probably pick it back up at some point, but my HK mood is definitely very low.

More Kirby OCs yaaaay. There’s still a few I have to finish then I’ma try to stop.

Toxecia is a Queen from another planet, far from Popstar. A rather venomous spider, both biologically and in heart.

Growing up wasn’t so easy for her. Despite being royalty, she was mocked and made fun of a lot by literally everyone, no matter their status.

It mostly boils down to her extremely over-productive poison glands affecting her life. While she has a venomous bite, she can spit poison too, but with it being over-productive she finds herself struggling daily to hold it in. It’s pretty gross... yeah. It gets worse depending on how she’s feeling.

She’s lived her whole life like this, with no remedy.

Her only friend, Sylvette, speaks kind words in Toxecia’s place. In short- Toxecia struggles to simply ‘be nice’ to others.

Her design takes elements from an old sludge monster OC of mine, as well as a certain anime character. The sword is the main giveaway.
