Vinnie has emerged as a graffiti writer in the 1980s and is known to have had a significant influence on many street artists, including Banksy. His pop and nostalgic style of freehand lines, mixing the old with the new, is admired not only by collectors but also by artists. ‘LIFER’ promises vibrant colour combinations and hard edge graphic painting alongside more loose and thickly applied expressive areas. In the potent mix you will find elements of ancient cultures and tribes, sharp angular abstraction and the raw nature of found materials used to construct masks or decorate wooden pots. The future primitive figuration is very alive with dancing figures, totem poles and even 80s boom boxes laying down a pounding drum beat!
