Meet Quartz, the Elemental Crystal Dragon :D

She's designed after a Japanese dragon hence the lack of wings, so she "flies" by running on air and likes to do a lot of loops/flips/tricks while in flight. She can also breathe crystals and while she's basically just a cat in dragon form, threaten the Master of Crystal and she gets way less cute and cuddly-

Back at it with the next gens! Meet Carmine, Kai and Skylor’s daughter and one of the middle children of the bunch. She’s the muscle of the group and the team’s resident daredevil, always down for some thrills and excitement.

- Her animal symbol is a tiger.

- She and Kai have loved doing dumb stuff together since she was little (which Skylor often had to bail them out of). One time they almost blew up a microwave.

- Her name means “vivid red” in Latin. Skylor was the one who chose it.

- Every time it's someone's birthday, Carmine takes it upon herself to pull a special prank on them. It's different every time, so no one ever knows what to expect and they are on their guard pretty much all day.

Me coming out from under my rock to make a ref sheet for another OC I made 7 years ago? It’s more likely than you think

Anyways, meet Hazel :D She goes to April and Casey’s school, where she writes for the school newspaper. And yes she’s Timothy/Pulverizer’s girlfriend bc he deserved a happy ending!! They’ve been best friends since their first day of high school, and when he goes missing she makes it her mission to find him, which is how she meets the Turtles.

She does investigative type journalism, so she’s written about a lot of the weird stuff that goes on in NYC, including Tim’s disappearance–Jack Kurtzman is her journalism idol. She also has a pet Yorkie named Ares who is an absolute menace lol

Randomly remembered Lolirock and decided to revamp my OC! Meet Nia, the princess of a seaside realm in Ephedia called Harmonia - she’s one of those spiritual girlies who can tell everything there is to know about you just by knowing your zodiac sign lol. She and her people are pacifists and really into meditation, the arts, and spirituality~

After Gramorr took over her kingdom as a child, she roamed on her own for a few years before heading to Earth to try and locate Iris. However, she’s still weighed down with guilt over being unable to save her family or her people, and unbeknownst to her another princess had been sent to Earth to capture her and bring her back to Ephedia. 

I used a base for this since the Lolirock art style is so distinct and I can’t draw it on my own lol. Credits to SelenaEde on DeviantArt for it!

Been meaning to share my Winx fairies for a min so here they are! They all go to Alfea and their group is just called The Girls lol~

From top to bottom:

• Juliet, Fairy of Love Princess, Guardian Fairy, and certified cornball. She's a social butterfly, hopeless romantic, and lover of romance movies and novels no matter how cheesy. Her powers are mainly emotion-based, and in combat she usually attacks by manifesting the strength of her love or the love of those around her into magical energy.

• Beryl, Fairy of Minerals Tsundere tomboy who can and will fight you, but a softie deep down. Loves hiking + anything having to do with rocks and lives with her older sister when not at Alfea. Her powers allow her to summon, control, and manipulate various minerals, from rocks to crystals to precious stones.

• Destiny, Fairy of the Mind Shy but sweet gal who loves studying, especially philosophy. Born blind. Her powers range from telepathy to releasing destructive brain waves to detecting when other minds are present and where they are, which helps her get around. Also a Guardian Fairy.

I really love these three so expect to see more of them at some point >:) in the meantime I have more info about them on my Toyhouse

After having this character for at least seven years, I finally made her a proper ref sheet 😂 meet Kira, Master of Crystal! She’s one of my oldest ocs and means so very much to me <3

Y’all are gonna learn a lot more about her but for now here are some fun facts:

She got her scars from the first time she used her power - she was in a heightened emotional state, causing an outburst of crystals. It happened at school when she was little and she started homeschooling after that.

She and Lloyd first met as kids; she was the one who let him down after the Ninja literally left him hanging in her hometown of Jamanakai.

She enjoys meditating, moon watching, late-night dragon flights, and making tea. Her mom owns a tea shop so she can make a mean cup of tea 

Her father, the previous master of Crystal, went missing before she was born. She developed insomnia as a kid and has always stayed up late talking to the moon, hoping maybe he could hear her wherever he is now.

She’s ridiculously emotional. One time she and the other Ninja went to the movies and she cried during the previews before it even started.

3/6 of the character designs for RECONDITE! I’ve never seen a cyberpunk theme from LEGO, so I wanted to capture that vibe from these three as much as I could. I really love how they turned out, especially Ziggy :D I’ll probably post more details about each individual character soon!

Been thinking about my characters lately and came to the conclusion that Hanzō could probably use some more focus. Like, I feel that right now his arc and who he is as a character isn’t fleshed out as much and he’s more of an accomplice to Kira/foil to Lloyd than anything else. So I started brainstorming how to fix that and was like?? What if I give Hanz his own season?? So now I’m working out ideas for yet another fanseason (I’m up to three now whoops) but I couldn’t be more excited with what I’m coming up with >:) I’m especially excited to start creating suit/gi designs bc I have some very specific ideas for those

Ladies and gentlemen... ✨HIM ✨

Finally whipped up a proper ref sheet for Hanzō! A little background on him: his father (who was not a good person) was a master of dark arts who taught him and his older sister the ropes of his magic. When their mother left to get away from her husband and never returned, Hanz and his sister ran away from home but were separated. Hanzō has lived on his own ever since, becoming a seasoned thief and enemy of the Ninja.

Also, fun fact: his color is green for two reasons. It tends to be associated with dark magic in the show, and it matches with Lloyd. The two of them are rivals and foils to each other, which is explored more in my canon of the show/fanseason.

Introducing my Ninjago next-gen OCs! They’re the children of the Ninja and the protagonists of Succession. Their Toyhouse profiles are almost finished, but here’s some basic info until then! Haven’t found time to properly draw them out so all I have rn are Picrews 🤪

I’ll make individual posts with more info about each of them eventually. In the meantime, if anyone has questions about them pls feel free to ask!! ^_^

Cora & Fritz Walker

Jay and Nya’s kids (and twins)! Cora is the master of lightning and the oldest of the group. She acts all tough and serious but she’s really a giant nerd, especially when it comes to the history and culture of Ninjago. She also loves doing her makeup and dressing cute! Fritz is the master of water and very much a free spirit. He loves the water (whether it’s swimming or just being near it) and Fritz Donnegan movies (he was named after Fritz Donnegan so it was fate). These two struggle to get along because of their conflicting personalities, so they have to learn to communicate and work together.

Rin Garmadon

Son of Lloyd and Kira (OC). Unlike the others, he was born with no powers, and to this day no one knows why. He’s loved all things heroic (comics, movies, etc.) since he was a starry-eyed little boy, and aspires to be a great hero himself, like his parents were. Basically lives in oversized hoodies and beat-up sneakers. Like his mom, he tends to doubt himself and has lower self-esteem, and likes to watch the stars at night.

Zephyr Julien

Child of Zane and Pixal + master of ice! Their parents built them with the help of Cyrus Borg, who absolutely adores his grandchild and spoils them rotten. Zeph is a genius like their parents and is especially interested in biology + mechanical engineering. They love cold drinks and sweaters, which they wear year-round, and fight with a pair of handmade titanium gauntlets that shoot sonic energy. Deep down, though, they harbor insecurity over the fact they aren’t human.

Carmine Smith

Daughter of Kai and Skylor + master of fire! She’s a sassy ball of chaos who loves dares, pulling pranks, and generally causing mischief. She and Kai are basically best friends and partners in crime, with Skylor usually having to bail them out of the shenanigans they get into. Carmine is the strongest fighter of the group and takes training very seriously. Though she means well, her temper and lack of patience tends to get her into trouble.

Sierra Brookstone

Cole’s adopted daughter + master of earth + baby of the group. She was born with congenital myopathy (specifically the fiber-type disproportion), a condition that makes her muscles weaker among other things. Loves to sing, and is trying to teach herself to play the guitar. Staunch environmentalist and proud plant mom; she started a garden at the Monastery, and her room is so full of plants it’s basically like a forest. She even has the ability to control plant matter, so long as it comes directly from a source of earth.

Starting off my Next Gen ref sheets with Cora (or “Co” or “CoCo”, as her twin sibling sometimes calls her)! She’s Jay and Nya’s daughter and the oldest of the bunch.

-She’s the mother hen of the group and constantly checks in on everyone else (“Did you eat today?”, “Text me when you get home safe” kind of person).

-Fights with the naginata, which has traditionally been considered a very feminine weapon. Her name is engraved on the blade in Ninjargon.

-Her powers are responsive to her emotions, which she suppresses more than she needs to. Should they overwhelm her, her lightning could go haywire.

-One thing about Cora? She’ll ALWAYS look good. She puts good effort into her appearance, and is never seen without a cute outfit + matching makeup + hair/nails done.
