Prompt : Write either an M/M, F/F, F/M, or Other (to include nonbinary folks) fic (can be fluff, hurt/comfort, whatever you see fit) in which either one or both of the characters in that pairing are panromantic OR a gen fic in which a panromantic character (can be a canon or headcanoned character) is coming out to/being comforted by/otherwise talking about romantic orientation with their friend(s) Headcanon : Panromantic!Asexual!VOSIM

"What 'appened with Dee exactly?" Rotten asked. VOSIM looked over at him in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean..." Rotten cleared his mechanical throat and hummed to himself in consideration for a moment as he contemplated how to word his question in a way VOSIM would better understand. "Ya dated each otha, right?"

"Yes"

"Right, so... Why'd ya stop?" he asked. "Seemed ta me like things were workin' jus' fine"

"We were happy together" VOSIM nodded in confirmation. "We didn't end over anything dramatic- I mean, they still come over all the time- We just wanted different things"

"Waddya mean?"

"Okay, well..." VOSIM sighed. "I love everyone, right? Romantically, I mean. Like gender doesn't... Affect how I feel about people, but... I don't do the physical stuff"

"You're asexual?"

"Yep" VOSIM replied weakly. "And Dee isn't, and... I don't know" he sighed. "We just wanted different things"

"That sucks"

"I'm not upset about it anymore" VOSIM told him. "I mean, I'd rather us be with people who we fit better with on that level than us be in a constant state of compromise"

"Still fuckin' sucks" Rotten insisted. "Y'all were in love. Shit's rare"

"Yeah..."

"But 'ey" Rotten punched the other robot in the arm. "Plenty o' fish in the sea"

"Right" VOSIM said quietly. "Plenty of fish in the sea"
