Heyyyyy remember how I posted that Hiccanna moodboard on Halloween and then was like “hmmmm, maybe I should do an actual Halloween-themed Hiccanna moodboard???” Well, I’m only a month late XD I’m currently in a supernatural tragic monster-themed RPG game with some friends right now, which is probably why vampires and werewolves and such have been on my mind lately. So here we have some good old angsty vampire!Anna x werewolf!Hiccup! Oh no, what will happen when our favorite dorky idiots get turned into different species of warring supernatural monsters??? Find out in this fanfic that I am probably not ever going to actually write, but got really into the idea so will write a summary for instead!
So Anna and Hiccup grew up together in a small, boring village at the edge of the woods, and have been close friends all their lives. One day, a mysterious, wealthy stranger named Hans comes to town, and quickly takes a liking to Anna. He starts to court her, and after only a week offers her his hand in marriage. Anna, completely oblivious to the torch Hiccup has always carried for her (and long since having given up on her OWN feelings for Hiccup), is thrilled about this. Hiccup, understandable, is pretty suspicious about the whole thing, and doesn’t trust Hans. The two end up having a falling out cumulating in Anna shouting “You don’t even WANT me, you NEVER have, and yet you don’t want me to be with another guy???” Hiccup, naturally, doesn’t have the balls to fess up that he actually DOES like her and insists his concerns are entirely founded in how quickly Hans proposed to her. Anna brushes him off, and accepts Hans’ proposal. Hans whisks her off to live in his grand manor in the countryside, and Anna has to reluctantly bid farewell to her friends and family in the village, including Hiccup. She promises to write as often as she can, but she’s still heartbroken to be leaving them indefinitely.
It isn’t until Anna arrives at Hans’ manor that the nightmare begins. The kindness and chivalry he showed her vanishes, and she becomes little more than a prisoner to him. One night, he attacks her--biting her on the neck and draining a fair bit of blood. When she wakes up the next day, she’s cold all over, her skin turning a ghostly white and a new hunger for blood awakening in her. It isn’t long before she catches on--Hans turned her into a vampire. The marriage was a sham--turned out he wanted an immortal sex slave of sorts, plus a pretty, innocent-seeming girl to lure in unsuspecting victims to the manor for Hans to prey on.
Meanwhile, Hiccup knows something’s wrong as soon as a few weeks go by, and neither he nor Anna’s family have gotten any letters from her. Figuring Hans is up to something, he sets out on a dangerous journey across barely-charted roads to find the isolated manor where Hans lives. One night, he makes the mistake of trying to take a shortcut through the forest, and ends up having a run-in with a pack of werewolves. He tries to outrun them--but to no avail. One of them chases him down, and soon he’s bitten too--cursed to a life of lycanthropy. He pushes onward regardless of his new condition, rejecting the pack’s offer to join them and continuing on his quest to find Anna.
After a few failed tries, Anna manages to finally sneak past the guards at Hans’ manor and escape into the surrounding forest. She flees for a long while, and who should she bump into but Hiccup--admittedly with a lot more body hair and a slightly more snout-like face than she remembered, but still very much him. They have a tearful reunion, too happy to see each other to care about one another’s new afflictions. At last Anna tells Hiccup how she feels, and admits she ran off with Hans because she didn’t think he would ever want her. Hiccup finally tells her he loves her--only about 12 years overdue XD They spend the night holding each other before finding a place for Anna to hide from the sun in the morning.
After that...I dunno, they either team up to fight Hans and kick him out of his manor so they can take it over, or they run away together and go on many cool faraway adventures. Up to you!
I am one again Mildly Plagued by the fact that Hiccup’s hair is too dark in the picture under the top right, BUT it was such a visceral, spooky werewolf-adjacent picture that I couldn’t NOT use it! I hope you can forgive me ^^;
Also yes vampire!Anna would ABSOLUTELY wear the most pimped-out, flashy, glittery red ballgowns ever if/when she started finally embracing her vampirism and a blood aesthetic don’t @ me

Reunions | #29 | March 2020
Fitting, this 29th story from my Peace Corps Mongolia life marks my reunion with our M29s, the senior cohort who taught me so much about how to be a Peace Corps Volunteer.
From blurred goodbyes with mentors and friends, to an uncertain transatlantic journey, my continued evacuation felt nostalgic, new and every emotion between. In this story, I bring you from my city of service across Mongolia’s north central Khangai region, to pick up fellow Peace Corps Volunteer evacuees on our caravan to the capital.
With every familiar face I saw, leaving Mongolia felt more and more real.
Last Sunrise
Sunday, March 1, I awoke early for my last sunrise in my apartment.
Next, I went around the rooms, stowing the rest of my needs in my luggage and sweeping dust around the linoleum floors. I felt Mongolians were always tidier than my best. I left aside a few household things I didn’t mind whether they stayed or went.
As I packed myself snack bundles in the kitchen for my journey ahead, I thought to my summer host mom. She made lunches for my day trips to Дархан /Darkhan/ on Peace Corps business. Those were great.
Lastly, I heated on the stove my supervisor's remaining бууз /boe-z/ steamed dumplings she gifted at Tsagaan Sar.
Just then my supervisor contacted me, she was on her way with бууз.
Mongolian hospitality’s the best.
Sunday Rush
The moment my supervisor arrived, through the next 45 minutes, was a lightning of activity.
My supervisor wanted to make sure anything remotely useful to me, we’d stow away for my return. People from the uni were coming to clean the apartment, so she wanted nothing taken.
I tried to explain I wasn’t sure I’d be coming back, for none of us knew Peace Corps’s situation. But I too wanted to come back. And I appreciated her planning for it.
A supervisor wouldn’t plan for my return unless she wanted me to come back.
So stowed away items and helped me complete every last detail needed to secure the apartment. She and one of the school workers showed me how to run thread through putty we pressed onto my closet doors. This way, if someone tampered with my doors that couldn’t lock, they’d know. We stamped the date on one side then pressed my key’s grooves into the other.
As we wrapped up duties, I handed my supervisor my card for our department and an “Omnibus” student poetry book my training clustermate asked me to give my community. I also gave her some “Laubach Way” to Reading/English textbooks I referenced from teaching English in Reno, Nev., fall 2018. I hoped our department would use these.
My priest friend from the night before returned, so my supervisor helped me load his vehicle. She insisted I haul this huge bag of snacks with me for my journey. I’d been offering them for others, but I finally acquiesced. I had my backpack, my small IKEA bag, my suitcase checked bag, the food sack and my stranded sitemate’s hiking backpack and camera bag.
At last, goodbye. Throughout the week I’d ask my supervisor when I should leave my apartment key with her, since there was no use taking it with me to America. She’d told me to hold on to it, so it’s easier when I get back. I wasn’t sure I’d get back.
During this last visit, well, she asked if I wanted her to have my key.
The moment felt like an acceptance of this uncertainty. We locked the door. I gave her my key.
I parted ways with thanks. My priest drove me to my senior M29 cohort sitemate’s apartment. Meanwhile, my supervisor shared in our department’s group chat my card. My colleagues wished me safe travels. I felt disappointed leaving them from just after our Lunar New Year.
Bittersweet with Final Friends
After that rush, I’d a breather.
My priest dropped me off by the curb, where a group of my friends gathered. They were from our coffee shop speaking group, including the English teacher who invited me over a couple nights before Tsagaan Sar. I felt touched they came to see me off. They left me with more food, snacks and gifts.
With selfies and warm wishes, I wished my friends good-bye and came up to my sitemate’s apartment.
Assembled within were our Peace Corps Volunteers’ long-time engineering friend, his friend, and our eager high schooler who visited me the night before. What a nice bunch. My sitemate related how the kid after receiving my Peace Corps key chain and name tag excitedly told him. Indeed, the kid still wore “Daniel Lang” when I arrived. What a cool lil’ dude. The guy resolved to be my first and last Mongolian visitor. He won.
The first time I visited my Peace Corps sitemate’s apartment might have been the only time before now. That August 2019, I’d just arrived in town, and he offered up the left-behind M28 cohorts’ things. (That’s where I got the cork board I described in my packing story.) Now my sitemate’s apartment looked bare, save its furniture.
On to business, my sitemate and I compared when we expected Peace Corps’s driver to reach town. We got different stories, so we called the driver with our Mongolian friends’ help. The driver just picked up our friendly spiritual sitemate from the village in our province over. We reasoned we’d plenty hours before leaving.
We got squad pics. Beyond handing off keys to the colleagues of our stranded sitemates two or three days before, my friend here and our friends already grabbed a few belongings for our other stranded sitemate. With nothing left to do, we went out to find lunch.
I loved the light snow flurries, quaintly reminding me of the auspicious Lunar New Year. But we found most places closed around the city to ward off COVID-19. (Mongolia doesn’t drive-through like America.) At least, we found open the bakery I visited the Saturday before with my translator friend. So our group got to-go and headed back.
I enjoyed the meal. I had the pastry my speaking group friends gave me, plus the new бууз from my supervisor—my last from Tsagaan Sar 2020. They’d pizza. On a thrilling note, Peace Corps Mongolia emailed our flight itineraries. Turns out my sitemate and I’d fly Thursday before dawn. I felt shocked and awed that after Russia we’d come through Germany and the Netherlands! An overnight in New York City seemed weird. By Friday I’d touch down in Vegas...
We got our friendly sitemate’s calls, our driver was in-town. Time to go.
Picking Up Pals in Peace Corps
I descended the apartment stairs, opened the front door and felt heartened. I'll never forget the Sunday sight of my fellow spiritual Volunteer. Before me was my Episcopalian Peace Corps friend’s delighted face. We’d assembled.
My friends and I loaded up the white Peace Corps SUV. We strapped my suitcase among the bags up top, while I protected my stranded sitemate’s things in the vehicle. We exchanged small talk while we wrapped up.
Moments later, our three local friends stood waving by the curb as we pulled away. What a blur. I didn’t catch a photo, but I felt their sight ingrained.
We had a U.S. Embassy driver instead of a Peace Corps one, which explained why I didn’t recognize him. He had a wonderful sense of humor. With my friend, we shared snacks and compared evacuation stories. He told this wild one of how they almost drove off a cliff! I remembered Peace Corps’ Safety & Security emailed us about snow storms but I hadn’t thought of ‘em.
We drove across the snowy world’s whiteness to the neighboring province for our next sitemate. As we entered a beautiful forested town, we could see why she hadn’t left her site much. Her village could have passed for a winter resort if tourism ever touched this.
When we pulled into the yard of basically our sitemate’s host family, her dog barked, and the family welcomed us to tea and Tsagaan Sar food. ‘Evacuating’ felt surreal. I loved this little countryside stop.
Our journey continued.
Farewell in Sorrow
We had a mission.
We headed on to one of our stranded sitemate’s places. Unfortunately, no one had been able to visit her area to pack her things. And like my senior M29 sitemate, she was of that cohort—the one not coming back.
As we rode into site, I recalled an autumn day trip when my and my sitemates’ party of four came to visit. We cooked together. I wandered out a few hours back then.
Now the site's covered in snow, and our different party of four came to her apartment with her colleague, instead of her. We forwarded to each other our stranded sitemate’s email of what to pack. Then we got to work, splitting up on rooms to take to scavenging her year and a half’s worth of memories. She helped over video call.
She was among my Peace Corps mentors. I felt sad coming in and having to rummage her things for her. But if we didn’t, who could?
We finished. We readied to leave. Then, watching our sitemate over video say goodbye to the colleague she couldn't come back to see in-person, I felt heartbroken.
But we had to keep going.
Police State?
With the Health Volunteers in our car, Sunday, March 1 became the first day I actively heard people calling the creeping Coronavirus crisis a pandemic.
But as we pulled into police and military checkpoints, the likes of which my priest described, I felt like were entered a police state. Americans and I commented among each other, people in the States would so resist measures like these to quarantine our nation.
At checkpoints, we needed to show our passports and accept the forehead temperature checks. (If one in our party coughed after the health person walked away, we laughed about our luck.)
After getting all set at our province border, our vehicle awaited the coming of our neighboring province’s Peace Corps evacuation party. We travel together the rest.
Avengers Assemble
Fun fact: I naturally tend to frame my life in terms of adventures I’ve read, watched or played through.
Seeing my old friends again, for instance, under these grave conditions reminded me of every time watching Steve Rogers first step onto a scene in “Avengers: Infinity War.”
A white microbus arrived. Our fellow Volunteers arrived.
Stepping out of our vehicle felt like being the Avengers, assembling in Wakanda for our Infinity War. All of us were evacuees. We all left behind our Mongolian homes. And we’d seen better days. But we were together.
And yet, I felt somber with the sense we’d already ‘lost.’ With a snap, COVID-19 was wiping out half my Peace Corps Mongolia universe. Our senior M29 cohort would undergo their Close of Service. Their service would finish in the capital. But my cohort’s wouldn’t—or it may.
So we were in our Endgame. If we return to Mongolia, it'll be the greatest comeback. But half our Volunteers would still be gone, maybe more. We'd be starting a bit fresh, becoming the new senior cohort. But that'd be our duty—to continue where we and others left off, to keep going.
We shared moments of grins and hugs and small talk. I saw my Catholic friend again, what a guy. Then we re-boarded our vehicles. We left from Mongolia's second-largest city to its third.
Hometown Snow Storm, That Winter Night
Riding back east across Mongolia, I recalled my previous trips in the country.
Further east, near dusk, we passed a turn off, where another driver head of us turned left. Our U.S. Embassy driver called that driver crazy. I’d been down that way before, during my day trip with Japanese JICA Volunteers to the historic monastery. But there was scarcely a daytime road—I couldn’t imagine getting there with this snow storm and night.
Further down, we drove through Хөтөл /Khutul/, the soum where many of my Peace Corps cohort friends lived this summer. With darkness and snow all around, I could barely recognize the city of 12,000, beyond its street sign.
Then we pulled through Номгон /Nomgon/, my Mongolian hometown.
My senior sitemate and I both trained here, albeit during different years. With blowing snow and darkness surrounding, we couldn't even see the iconic mountain on our right. But to our left, he spotted the green of our school, and we saw the lights of the street-side convenience store beside the red tractor monument.
We meant to visit home for Tsagaan Sar, before travel banned. I realized, I was the only one from my cluster who got to see our Mongolian hometown during winter. I taped a video of our passing and shared with my host family and training cluster.
We continued on.
Between Mongolia’s Largest Cities
At times, so much powder snow blasted across the road, I couldn't even see its edge. But we could see the red lights from the microbus of Peace Corps Volunteers ahead.
Finally, we arrived in Дархан /Darkhan/, on the dark road that felt nothing like our summer rides in light. We stopped a while somewhere near the city proper’s border, somewhere I recalled from my host family driving me on a summer day trip.
Besides briefing exiting a train during my winter trip to the capital for a Peace Corps conference, I'd never seen Дархан during winter.
We stayed in a hotel overnight to wait out the snow storm before continuing for the capital the next morning.
I reorganized my food sack, enjoyed some nibbles. My Catholic friend roommate caught me up more on the peace of our situation. I felt awed, my senior sitemate played a Nintendo Switch. I hoped I could play someone’s back in the States.
Change of Pace
Monday, March 2, we hurried our bags downstairs and had a quick lamb stew breakfast.
Curiously, a Volunteer asked to switch from the microbus to our SUV. Cool, I swapped with her. Coincidentally she was the very first I met in my cohort during Staging in Philadelphia last May, before reaching Mongolia. We both gave speeches at our Swear-In Ceremony in August 2019.
In the microbus were many Volunteers from our senior M29 cohort. I felt (maybe too) elated to see them again. They pointed out they’re processing their abrupt Close of Service—They needed space.
Within a few hours, we’d hit the capital. Life gained speed, and, of course, I’ve more to share there. For now, though, I gazed out the window at our snow-blanketed world, with my fellow Volunteers in mind. Our lives, theirs especially, were changing fast.

Spin_off show with Angad
Ok i love how everyone is so involved with getting a lady love for Angad, maybe there should be a spin off show with Angad as the lead.........I've already thought of the story.........so we all know that Angad has a sick mother in gawo (village)...maa maati nahi aur jeeti nahi hai
so the story is that the sick mum asks Angad to marry and chooses a bride for him and he marries her even though we know he has no interest in that and that's where the story starts??????????Now it won't be like the story of Pratigya where she fights for the rights of women in the Singh household......but i guess the story depends on who he would marryso which lucky girl should it be and what kind of life would they have??????
Rolli......she is strong and brave and will try to change him....make him more like Adarsh, get a job, stop hanging around with Lucky and Jugnu (poor guys) and maybe quit paan
Komal..........this sherni will try to be the male dominant in the relationship would be hilarious to watch, consant nonsense arguments, and threats that Krishna will beat him up
Arushi...........maybe she's too cute and sweet personality for him, she'll be too scared????
That's all the female characters.....maybe someone else???
Anyway what do you guys think?????????
Angad Wah Wah And Angad is back he made me laugh when he was talking about his sick mother Amma na jeeti hai na marti hai Xxxjrae
Since Rohli now looks set to be parted from Adarsh, I'd REALLY like her to be paired with Angad  They'd work so well! She's civlized and gentle but she still speaks up for herself so she'd be perfect for Angad. Kunal's a real asset to the show since he's one of the best actors on it so they shouldn't just let him go on being the obstacle in the Kriya relationship and then just leave him by the roadside.... shi_no_tenshi
pehle b kaha tha aur abhi b keh rahi hun .... ANGAD N KOMAL .... will wrk wonders .... un logon ki khatti meethi kahani will be a treat to watch wd loads of masti + masala +khoob saara daraana dhamkaana - romance .... LuvKriya
kunal is so handsome and cute and arushi is cute too....they perfectly matched....but damn he is a gunda....all my dreams shattered in pieces.  i hope they make angad good and arushi-angad track.....i am tired of his schemeing....he is a hot schemer Mages

oh u brought back long lost memories. i was an ardent fan of lrl. after a gap of 4 yrs i am now hooked on to pratigya. i remember him dressed as a girl in lrl.  angad aka kunal kapoor played the role of an army cadet. he does not get a date so goes to the army ball dressed as madonna the hot girl along with his roommate. kunal acts damn well . even his tragic scenes make the audience cry. his role was just the opposite of angadwa. he was cadet yadhuvansh but the cool dude hated his name so cut it to yudi. i loved his role and i love his new desi look in pratigya too. he is an extremely versatile actor and can give any lead pair a run for their money.  he may appear only at times in pratigya but angadwa ki wajah se hi pratigya aage badh rahi hain
hats off to kunal for his choice of roles. ofcourse madonna ko toh mein kabhi nahin bhool sakthi. i still watch those epis in my computer anujkpjk

Good second lead roles.
Now a days show writers are giving equal importance to other lead roles to make an impact amongst the audiences by their acting, though it may be a cameo but still their role is remembered. We take a look at few such roles.
Kunal Karan Kapoor in Pratigya He popularly known as Yudi of Left Right Left show, but now is more famous as Angad, the bad guy of Pratigya show. Whenever he is in the scene he takes all the credit by his acting style especially his style of having betel leaves.

I'm so proud of Angad, i really miss him on the show, i really like his character and his acting!!!Glad he's getting credit and recognition. Xxxjrae

Scripting Comment MORRIGAN BRINGS BELONGING
AFTER THE FADE TO BLACK MORRIGAN "RETURNS" WITH HER THINGS AND INITS DIALOGUE
"I am at your disposal, Grey Wardens. I suggest a village north of the Wilds as our first destination. 'Tis not far and you will find much you need there. (not pleased, but this is the only choice) Or, if you prefer, I shall simply be your silent guide. The choice is yours. (snarky)" No, I prefer you speak your mind. "(Laughs) You will regret saying that. (while laughing)"
She's not a great prophet, after all.
"Dear, sweet mother, you are so kind to cast me out like this. How fondly I shall remember this moment. (said with venom)" "Well, I always said if you want something done, do it yourself, or hear about it for a decade or two afterwards. (amusement)"
"I just... do you really want to take her along because her mother says so? (about to argue, and then turns to the player)"
"Allow me to show you out of the forest. After that, send me off if you like. I did not ask to join you. (annoyed)" "I hate to say it, but the Grey Wardens have always taken allies where they could find them. We could... probably... use her. Somewhat. (extreme reluctance)"
I love this picture (pic 6), just look how cold Erika's face is. Flemeth saved her life, Morrigan bandaging her wounds and take care of her recover. They help her and ask nothing from her. After she lost her family and what Duncan did to her, she can't help but feel close to them. And what Alistair did, - before the part of "I’ve lost everyone, don’t back out on me now!": Watch his surrogate father murder a good man then force her joining their cult, and he just indifferently, "for the greater good", right? If he can feel OK for those crimes - for the greater good, then of course he can backstab her. Sure, why not, if that for the greater good. Just like Duncan did to her father. She don't even trust Alistair.
Oh, get over yourself, Alistair. "If you worry that I will summon demons and transform into an abomination, I assure you I will at least wait until you are not looking. (amusement at his expense)" "I feel better already. (dryly -- he is being sarcastic)"
"Farewell, Mother. Do not forget the stew on the fire. I would hate to return to a burned-down hut. (she and her mother have a love/hate relationship)" "Bah. 'Tis far more likely you will return to see this entire area, along with my hut, swallowed up by the Blight. (sort of a "bah, humbug!" comment)" "I... all I meant was... (sudden well of emotion)" "Yes, I know. Do try to have fun, dear. ("shoo and get going already")"

SasuSaku Month 2016 Day 30- The Defining Decade . Title: It’s Time to Go . Summary: It’s almost time for their lives to turn upside down, and at the same time he’s happy about it, Uchiha Sasuke is also really apprehensive. How will they deal with their remaining time? . A/N: Ahh!! I didn’t like this theme at all!! I mean… 10 years is a lot, and yet it’s not enough to be defining! There are two important decades in their lives, and due to the amount of time I have and the fact that this is a one-shot, I ended up forcing myself to write something really really short! For I’m still going to write a long pic about their journey, I’ve done my best to hold back the details of how I think it happened and all… The next theme will be better, I promise! I hope you like it, and please, leave me a Review! . . . It was not until early March that his anxiety started to kick in.
His heart would beat faster, consequently raising his blood pressure, as his levels of stress had never been higher. The lack of sleep made itself evident due to the deep, dark circles around his eyes, and a sudden fear of the world was taking over his senses, making the oh-so-powerful Uchiha Sasuke keep an eye open to whatever could crawl from under a leaf.
He was paranoid, to say the least. And it was all because of her.
It was all because of that one, pink haired woman, who had been traveling with him for over a year and who had been annoying him ever since. With those viridian eyes, and that round, round belly of hers, Uchiha Sakura was driving him crazy. She has always been reckless and irresponsible, and now that she had the company of a baby in her womb, the pinkette didn’t really see a reason why not to continue acting that way.
Pregnant or not, she was still the same Sakura she used to be, but with a different last name. She would punch the ground, jump around trees, heal people, and consequently, she would leave him on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
That pregnant woman would be the death of him, he knew.
But as he watched her surrounded by all those 5 kids, as one of her bright smiles decorated her face, Sasuke knew he couldn’t be any happier than at that very moment.
His wife really is annoying, he thought, with a smirk decorating his face.
“ And then, there was that deep silence and I ended up having to heal those two- shannarou!”
A sigh escaped his lips as he simply looked at his pregnant wife from the corner of Kabuto's orphanage’s main room. They had decided to take a break from their walk towards Orochimaru’s hideout, and she convinced him to stop by that small cabin so she could see the kids she had grown so fondly of during their first year away from Konoha. Sakura had developed a special affection towards those children, and seeing all of them happily- and carefully, he saw- placing their small hands over her belly, gave the male Uchiha a peaceful sensation. The little girls would smile as they listened to Sakura talking about a seed growing inside her, and they would eventually get scared whenever their baby moved. The pinkette would simply laugh at those reactions, and that was when his eyes saw his wife in her prettiest form.
Sakura was radiant like that. More than ever, the future Uchiha matriarch seemed to be shining brighter than she already did in his eyes, and seeing her like that made him feel, somehow, proud of himself. Her overprotective senses, her emotion peaks and the genuine smile on her lips just made his heart warm up in a feeling he could only describe as love. It was the same love they had developed during their years together, but not the sweet and innocent kind of love he has always felt for her since they were kids.
Right now, the love he feels for his wife is an authentically thankful one. During the defining decade of his life, he knows that most- if not all- of the good things that changed him, were caused by her selfless feelings. He has always felt unworthy of such feelings, however, she gave them to him, nonetheless. She gave him her heart, her words, her mind and her body and in a couple of weeks, she would be giving him a beautiful daughter that will always be the fruit of their connected feelings.
Sakura gave him the entire world in the form of a family, and he could never thank her enough for that.
Not a thing he does will ever be enough to repay her for everything she’s always done.
And right now, seeing how happy she was with those kids, made the male Uchiha realize that he would forever try to make things up to her.
For the rest of his life, he would try to make her happy.
But right now, even if he didn’t want to, he knew she was about to get upset at his words.
The time for them to go had arrived, after all.
“Sakura.” His husky voice echoed around the room, immediately capturing the pinkette's attention. Her widened emeralds turned to face him, following his moves as he approached her, and for a moment, he felt his heart skipping a beat. He would never get used to those jewels, for sure. “ We have to go now.”
“ Ehhh?!” Her whining came out in unison with all those kids’ voices, and the pout decorating her features was as childish as the ones surrounding her. “ Already?”
“ Hn, I don’t want to arrive too late in the next village.”
“ Can’t we leave… in the morning?” She batted her eyes at him, trying to make her husband give in to her cuteness so they could spend more time with the kids. Such trick, just like some others she's learned through the years, would usually work on him. They would make him change his mind, and even the expression on his face, but ever since she got pregnant and he started getting so focused on their safety, most of her low trick have lost their effect.
Ever since the raven haired man had grown so overprotective over his wife and child, nothing else worked on him. Nothing at all.
“ No.”
“ Why not?”
“ Because I said so. Tch, stop fooling around and let’s go already, Sakura.”
With a sigh escaping her lips, he watched her pout growing sadder as she accepted his stretched hand to pull herself up. He heard her mumbling some incomprehensible words, and as she patted her red dress to get herself rid of the dust, Sasuke saw as her eyes traced all the sad faces of those children. Those little brats didn’t want her to go almost as much as she didn’t want to leave them, and that, he knew, would make things a lot more difficult for all of them.
His wife was never good with goodbyes, after all.
“ Kids…” A soft smile went to play on her lips, as she opened her arms to welcome that group hug of 10 little arms encircling her round body. “ Be nice to each other, okay?”
“ Do you really have to go, Sakura-san?” A little, brunette girl asked, looking at the pink haired woman with her dark brown eyes. Her small lips were trembling as if she was holding back some tears, and at that moment, such scene almost made the male Uchiha rethink his decision.
Almost…
“ Yeah… I have to, Mii-chan…” She said, placing a hand over the little girl’s head. “ I need to go and meet someone really special. Sasuke-kun and I have been waiting for her for a while already, and he doesn’t want to wait another second.”
“ Oh… Will we ever meet this person?”
“ Of course! I can’t wait to introduce you all to her!”
“ What’s her name?"
A warm smile crossed Sakura’s lips, as she looked at her husband for the first time with a soft expression ruling her face. Their eyes were connected, and at that time, he knew exactly why she was looking at him like that. After months of thinking and discussing, it made her happy to finally be able to say that name with so much certainty. “ Sarada… That’s her name.”
“ Then we will be waiting for you, Sakura-san!” A boy screamed, grinning happily after that.
“ And for Sarada, too!” A blonde girl completed, smiling at the pinkette.
“ And for grumpy Sasuke too!” Another kid spoke up, making Sakura and all the other orphans laugh at the male Uchiha’s face. Even if it was a farewell, it didn’t mean they could not be happy at that time, right?
It was not like they would never see each other again, after all.
“ Tch, that’s enough, you brats.” He said, finally placing a hand over Sakura’s shoulder. His eyes glared at her, and he watched her dorky smile growing into an apologetic one.
She really had no cure, for sure.
“ Ne… Sasuke-san…” The same brunette walked forward, embarrassedly pulling his dark cloak. He looked down at her confusedly, blinking as she tried to fight back her shyness to speak. “ W-Will you… Will you take care of Sakura-san?”
His dark pearls widened after listening to that little girl’s question, and at that moment, his mind went blank for a fraction of second. He saw those green eyes on him, and a soft, pink smile was also there, telling him not to make Mii-chan cry. He certainly didn’t know why he was so hesitant, at first, and he didn’t know why he suddenly felt so insecure about that answer that just seemed so obvious.
Of course he would protect her. He would give his life to protect his family, and that was pretty much the answer he should give the little girl.
Yes, it was an easy answer, for sure.
But- oh- there was just so much more that.
He would take care of her, make sure she didn’t have to suffer ever again, and most of all, he would give her all the love and affection he could find in his heart. In his own, twisted way, Uchiha Sasuke would make sure to make her happy. For the next decades to come, and until the day he died, he would make sure to honor his vows to take care of Uchiha Sakura.
Slowly, the raven haired boy kneeled so he could level himself with the little brunette. He used his hand to pat her head, and he could feel the soft, warm stare of his wife on his back. His expression remained almost as stoic as ever, as he looked inside the girl’s little eyes. He watched as she tried to advert her look from him, and it was only after she welcomed his eyes that he spoke up.
“ I will, don’t worry. We will be back soon so you can meet Sarada.”
A bright smile cropped onto Mii-chan’s lips, as her cheeks blushed in pure happiness. Even if she- just like many of the kids- was a little afraid of the raven haired man, she knew she could trust him to take care of the woman who had become a mother figure to all of them. They trusted Sasuke, for sure. And listening to his words made all of them, somehow, happy.
“ Okay!”
“ Hn.” He stood up, delicately slipping his hand to wrap his arm around his wife’s waist. He felt her leaning in for his touch, as her smile was still decorating her features.
He could watch that for the next ten years, for sure.
“ Mii-chan, don’t take him too seriously. Last time he told me he would be back soon, he took over a year to show up. “ She winked at the little girl, whose face suddenly became confused.
Tch, what an annoying wife, for sure.
“ But don’t worry, I’ll take care of him as well!” She continued, lifting her arms to expose her triceps. I wi- Oww!“
“ Let’s go, Sakura.” He said, forcefully pushing her towards the exit. She kept waving back for a while, until she finally chuckled, wrapping her arms around his own.
Honestly, won’t she ever change?
Probably not for the following decade of their lives.
And he can’t wait to share them with her.

Tae-Woo wants to challenge Hak to a duel. Han-Dae says it won’t last more than 3 seconds, so after that they’ll throw a huge pillow fight with everyone. Another Wind tribe teenager asks Tae-Yeon what he would like to do with his brother Hak. Tae-Yeon says he wants to bathe with him, then everyone says they’d like that too (even Mundok) ^^;
At the castle, Hak tells Yona and Soo-Won how everyone from the Wind tribe gathers in Mundok’s mansion to eat, drink, sing and dance. Soo-Won says he’d like to go. Hak replies Mundok would surely welcome him if he went with Hak. Unfortunately, Soo-Won promised to spend the New Year with relatives so he can’t come.
Later on, Hak speaks to Soo-Won about how Yona seemed unusually quiet back in her room. Both of them meet Min-Soo in the courtyard. Soo-Won bids them farewell, and the other two discuss their plans for the New Year celebrations. Min-Soo will accompany King Il for his traditional end-of-the-year seclusion at Hiryuu’s mausoleum, where he prays for the country’s safety and bountiful harvest.
Hak realizes Yona will be alone for New Years. Min-Soo confirms that with the king being busy and the court ladies having no business with her, it’s likely nobody will come visit the Princess. She’ll be alone until the New Year’s banquet.
In her room, Yona gazes outside the window, looking downhearted. Suddenly Hak appears close to her.
Tumblr media
Yona happily accepts. She brings him to the center of the room where it’s warmer and wraps him in one of her kimonos. She asks him if he’s hungry and wants to ask a servant for food, but then she realizes everyone would probably like to have a break today. Hak gives her fried dumplings he bought in town instead. If people find out he gave her this, he’ll be fired for sure. Yona says she’ll take their secret to the grave and enjoys her food.
Hak tells her how lively the castle town is right now. Almost as lively as the Wind tribe. Yona says Mundok and the others must be waiting for him. He looked so happy to go back home, after all... But Hak says they’ll be fine without him.
Yona: Thank you... Hak.
Hak: *Sometimes people in the castle talk behind her back and say she’s selfish and good-for-nothing. I want to punch them. I want to tell them the Princess isn’t like that at all. I wish someone who would understand her, regardless of social status or position, would appear one day. I’d like to be friends with that person.*
The scene switches to an old granny thanking Yoon for selling her medicines on New Year’s eve because no other merchant is doing business on that day. She gives him glutinous rice to eat with his family, and he wishes her a Happy New Year.
Another scene switch. This time we see Hakuryuu’s village. Granny prays to Kija for his noble protection again this year. Kija agrees but says his outfit has one too many decorations (he kinda looks like Yona when she was performing her sword dance at the fire festival). Granny objects that his beauty is what gives vitality to the village.
Tumblr media
Gi-Gan: I bet they rejected you.
Jae-Ha: Of course not.
Another scene switch to Zeno watching snowflakes fall, a smile on his face.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hisa’s thoughts on the chapter:
This extra was only 16p long. It was nice to see old friends again (Tae-Yeon! Min-Sooooo!) Also now we know King Il was worshipping Hiryuu and that the red king’s mausoleum still exists.
If you compare Yona in this extra and Yona in the 1st chapter of the manga, you’ll see how much Kusanagi’s style and toning has changed over the years. Yona’s hair doesn’t look so unruly now ^^
Next chapter will be out on January, 20th in Japan. We’ll resume the main story.

TRAVEL THERE: CLUB MED PUNTA CANA IS WAITING
Here’s a few things I didn’t have a place for in other posts about Club Med Punta Cana.  I hope they’ll help you decide you need to go there and visit.  If so, call my friends at CTA Travel.
Dinner A La Carte
You never have to face down a buffet at Punta Cana unless you want to or unless you didn’t get your Indigo reservations in soon enough.  Indigo reservations can only be made in person at the restaurant on the day you want to eat there.  They start taking reservations at 9 AM and if you wait too long, you either won’t get the time you want or you won’t get in at all.
We celebrated our anniversary by having dinner at Indigo.  It was a lovely meal, but Bill made better choices than I did.  He had some kind of whole fish and he says it was one of the most amazing meals he’s ever had.  I had some Dominican shrimp in a plantain bowl.  Good, but not one of the most amazing meals I’ve ever had.  Here’s a few pics from Indigo and that meal.
 Another Dinner Choice
With so much free food and drink available, we didn’t see much reason to spend money that way, but there was one opportunity to do just that.  It was called La Cava.  On the patios of Samana and Hispanolo (for dinner only) there was a section set aside for La Cava guests.  You become a La Cava guest when you purchase wine, whiskey or cigars from La Cava and enjoy them with a meal.  If we’d been there longer, we might have considered it, but we did just fine with the included comestibles.
Shopping
There were a few shops at the resort and they had lovely things – but there were no bargains.  Not a single one.  Especially not on larimar, a semi-precious gemstone found only in the Dominican Republic.  The cheapest larimar I found at the resort was a pair of earrings with a tiny piece of larimar hanging from each stud.  The price was $80 and if someone had brought it to me, I would have thought it was some cheap trinket they got for about 5.  So none of my friends got larimar.
At the resort, everything is priced in Dominican pesos and while everyone can tell you how much that is in euros, they are not so good with dollars.  That made shopping quite challenging.  It also almost caused Bill a heart attack when he saw a receipt with a bottom line of 4210.
45
Several years back, Club Med celebrated its 45th anniversary by printing up lots of T-shirts and other items with the number 45.  The items sold like hot cakes  So, when their 50th came, encouraged by the sales of the 45 items, they printed up lots of 50 merchandise.  However, the 50 merchandise was a bust.  They almost had to give it away to get rid of it. but while everyone was rejecting the 50th anniversary merchandise, they were still requesting items with 45 on it.  You’ll see the 45 logo all over the resort on everything from t-shirts and bikinis to flip flops and beach bags.  Vintage 45 items are a status symbol.  We spent a lot of time speculating on the ubiquitous logo and as we asked around, trying to solve the mystery, we discovered there were almost as many answers as their were t-shirts.  Some Americans thought it was for Trump – NOT!  Some French people claimed it was the number of a popular soccer player.  I asked the Chief of the Village and he gave me this skinny.  So, in case you ever go to a Club Med resort and wonder, well here’s the answer.
Farewell to Punta Cana
I think that about covers it.  You should have everything you need to enjoy a resort vacation with Club Med – and I heartily suggest you give it a try.  I’m probably the only person on the face of the earth that wouldn’t think it was the best vacation ever, but my best vacations are devoted to satisfying my inner Museum Girl.
Would we ever return to Club Med Punta Cana?  If we were the sort to repeat destinations, then there is no reason we would not.  It is a beautiful resort with great food and a lot of fun things to do.  We just rarely return to someplace we’ve already been.
So will we ever do Club Med again?  It is certainly a possibility, but we’d probably only go for three nights, not five.  We had a great time, but while Bill is more active at sports than I am, neither of us prefer sports for days on end.  I can see us doing it before or after a vacation devoted to all my museums, palaces and historic sites or just getting away for a few day.
Winning the fabulous door prize from CTC Travel certainly gave us a new favorite possibility on our wish list, but we’ve already got the next trip planned.  I’m just not ready to tell you about it yet.  Right now, as I finish up this post it is June, shortly after our Club Med vacation, I have no idea what I’ll be offering up next week on Travel Talk, but please come back.  I promise it will be fun!
A Few Final Points TRAVEL THERE: CLUB MED PUNTA CANA IS WAITING Here's a few things I didn't have a place for in other posts about Club Med Punta Cana.
