I want one of every genre spin-off show. I want:
-Mary and Shannon monster-of-the-week prequel (after they’ve been resurrected in the trilogy, of course)
-Lilith/Camila mystery solving duo (Moonlighting style)
-Beatrice and Ava action comedy being demon slayers by day and tired parents by night
And I want an exhausted Mother Superion holding shit together in all of them

Additional INFO from the Warrior Nun Substack Newsletter (link below so YOU can verify it yourself)
Anticipated questions:
What is the news?
+We were not told what the news is, just asked to share it.
Sounds like a leak to us!
Who told you?
+We have promised not to disclose that information.
No one want's to get sued. Fr fr
When will we get more info?
+At or around the 15 million announcement from Simon, in whatever form that takes. (which will likely be in the days after the actual goal is reached, as a reminder)
Does this mean Simon knows? What if Simon is the source and he is just waiting to get permission from AppleTV's legal department to tell us?! Delusional, maybe... but.... At this point anything is possible.
Is this just leading the fandom on?
+No. The party that disclosed this information is a credible source.
And they know they would be at the mercy of an unhinged fandom.
Who is it?
+See #2.
Being sued is bad. noted.
Why is this news coming from here instead of Simon or someone else?
+The nature of our work, in partnership with the OCS Newsletter, means that we communicate daily with fans, cast, crew, and other interested parties. As part of that process, we are one point of contact for those folks to reach out to when there's news to share.
Okay now, this actually makes sense. If you are a whistleblower you don't share the leak on your own personal pages or make a new one just to spill tea with zero followers. Not if you are serious about your info. You get people with a network to do the work for you. (sounds familiar) At the very least one with an email list.
Overall this is cautious optimism because who knows what the news could be. Some theories we have:
Comic/Graphic Novels: plausible, given the history of WN. Would be good to align the current creators with the NF series.
Novel Series: very plausible, Dean English was on the OCS Conclave with a WRITER next to him. People. 💥💥💥
Expanded Universe: very plausible, in the same panel with Dean English and the WRITER, they revealed they were working on the long-term story of Warrior Nun. That's not just a movie or a final season of WN.
Movie: plausible, while disappointing, look at ALOTO... Final 4 episodes, which works out to be a long movie. Other cancelled series have also gotten wrap up movies. So long as it's Avatrice focused we can live with this.
Podcast: unlikely, this would be a huge slap in the face of the fans and one would think the source would not be dumb enough to hype up a podcast. While great for the Doctor Who fandom, WN fans only want one thing.
Literally Nothing: very unlikely, as mentioned above the source is not willing to risk their own flesh by pissing off a very angry audience. Also, the person in charge of the Substack is not some random fan. You can see on the tweets that link to the newsletter the name Trust Insights (because tw hates Substack links so they had to reroute the click.) See Trust Insight's case study clients... https://www.trustinsights.ai/expertise/case-studies/
Netflix Repentance: plausible, but very skeptical about this one. Even with NF recent "change of heart" around their viewing metrics (as of 3rd week of June) they have shown a consistent ignorance of audience demand. But who knows, maybe they are just broke enough and need the money to pay some overdue bills.
AppleTV/Streamer Pick-Up: plausible, now this would be one impressive shake-up during the WGA strike that is still ongoing. And unprecedented because, as we all know, NF doesn't sell the rights. (But then... how can Dean talk about books... and how can Simon say Dean is the person to ask about Video Games... And why would Simon say "the people who own the rights" but not name NF in Empire Magazine... while being very clear that he (Simon) can't get the season 2 bloopers because NF owns the footage... nah, must not be important.) Complicated legal things. But doesn't mean NF couldn't lease out WN to another platform and that platform could make more content... hello HBO/NF deals. Again more delusions.
So all that to say... Something is happening. We don't know what, but you don't send a fandom into hype unless you have something really good.
Because if it's nothing - you will lose that audience
Note: all of the above can be verified via Twitter search, www.warriornun.com press releases, AngeChat's and BeMoreSuper's interviews on YouTube, OCS Conclave Videos on YouTube, the OCS Newsletter, and of course the DAILY released Substack Newsletter.

Hi, my name is Dean English and I'm the executive producer of Warrior Nun. I'm the person who found the graphic novel and asked the dangerous question of, "What if?" First of all, I need to start by thanking all of you loyal fans. It's because of you and your incredible energy that we keep pushing forward to make these stories. You guys really make it all worthwhile. So thank you so much for your continued support.
I am very happy to announce that Warrior Nun is coming back as a trilogy of motion pictures. Once again, a trilogy of feature films. Three.
One thing we need to touch on involves the strike in Hollywood involving actors and writers. And it's due to that that we cannot make any announcements today on that front. Some may ask, "Does this perhaps infer that there's going to be a universe being launched of Warrior Nun, which could expand into films and TV series following characters that we already know?" The answer to that question is yes. And there will be more details in the future.
There is a Halo Bearer email hotline that you sign up for. And from there, you're going to get announcements of all the major developments as we go forward. And there's going to be a lot. And I know a lot of you have questions. Your answers will come through that.
In closing, I want to say that you guys have made me very, very proud through all your hard work and inspired me all the time to keep going. So in this life or the next.

Have you seen the Amy Berg tweet where she says as far as she knows no one involved in making the show has been approached about the movies? And I know the strike is an issue but the writers went on strike 2 months before Simon announced the show was saved and the countdown started. So how was this movie deal made? I’m cautiously excited but the lack of details still makes me very nervous at this point.
I have, just now.
We don't exactly know any details as to deals, contracts and whatever bureaucracy is involved in the making of something like this, we don't know if anything is set in paper; the certainty of the announcement tells us things are moving, but we don't and can't pretend to know how yet.
I think, for the moment, we should just revel in the fact that we are getting more of this story and world, because everything else is conjecture. Me, I'm with the crowd that's worried about casting and screen-time for supporting characters since part of the show's magic for me was always its ability to make it an ensemble creation all in all and we know films usually have a different rhythm to television series-- and even so, now that I've slept it over, I'm choosing not to be nervous about any of this. It's not even a matter of "trusting" the producers or anything, but a conscious decision not to stress over things we do not know.
As long as the strike is in place, thanks to rich people who refuse to pay workers their due and to respect their rights, we'll just have to take deep breaths and wait.
In the meantime, I think it's good to remember that, whatever happens, there's a reason why fandom exists. In a way, these characters and stories are already "ours" whether the upcoming trilogy and expanded universe are a success or not, whether the original writers are involved or not; none of that changes the fact that we're all here for love of this one Thing. If it's good we'll be here celebrating it and if it's not we'll be here "fixing" it through fic, art and discussion as other fans have done for other stories for decades.
So, for now, I think we can take a breath with the satisfaction that we did win something and try not to be too worried about the actual realisation of that triumph. We all know what we would like to see (and so many of us preferred more seasons, too), but maybe it's best to just keep an open mind and wait for what it is that we will eventually get, fingers crossed.
The passionate people involved in the Warrior Nun project might surprise us still -- it wouldn't be the first time.

The Book of Josephine - Chapter 7 up now!
Another update of my Warrior Nun Universe spin-off now on AO3! Thank you to everyone that has read so far!
An excerpt from Chapter 7: "Now it will spring forth,"
Vincent scoffs across the table. “It’s fine. You know she’d probably give you an earful if she could, Isaac.”
Sister Josephine and Sister Gregory look at each other while suppressing a laugh.
“Trust me, she’s given me a page-full quite a few times.” Isaac raps his knuckles on the table again and stands abruptly. “I’m going to check my e-mail before you all start making non-verbal jokes about my bald spot.”
He turns to leave, and when his back is to the group, the old woman puffs out her cheeks and makes a circle with both of her hands, spreading them apart to expand the shape, mimicking how Isaac’s bald spot must be growing. Sister Gregory and Father Vincent burst out laughing, causing Father Isaac to whip around.
“I knew it!” He storms out.
“Isaac, wait. I need to discuss the demonstration with you, more seriously.” Father Vincent catches his breath as he stands to leave. Isaac yells something unintelligible from the hall.
“Codex, Sister Josephine, it was good to see you again. Sister Gregory, it was nice to meet you.” Vincent bids farewell to the two nuns still seated at the table.
“And the Novice.” He takes a couple of steps in the teenager’s direction, on the way to the door. “Keep in touch about your training, you will know how to reach me, if you need anything. I probably won't see you again before I have to leave this afternoon. Good luck, and I’m terribly sorry you have been put into this situation, but trust that everything will end up as God intends.” He goes to the doorway and turns back once more. “In this life, or the next.”
“In this life, or the next.” Sister Gregory repeats as Sister Josephine tips her chin in acknowledgement.
The younger nun stands quickly and jogs to the door, shutting and locking it in one swift motion. She turns, wide-eyed, glancing between the old woman and the teenager.
The Novice turns to face a very loud laugh coming from behind her, where the old woman is seated.
“What a crock this morning has been!” Sister Josephine lets out.
“Now that I think about it, I should have shot you last week when you asked..."

My ideas for the new expanded universe :
Sister Melanie : The baddest bi - sorry Lady who kicked nazi ass.
WWII ala low saturation with the halo being in bright contrast? thank you
Warrior Nuns (a mini series) : Diary of the fallen
Serious talk, in addition (or a compramise) to just an entire series on Sister Melanie, I want a mini series about the sisters in the book. An anthology of the best and worst times of a few sisters of note before Ava. Think : Tales of the Jedi
Camila : The rookie story.
Camila's adventure from normal convent to OCS. Convent at 15? How in holy hell did she learn to be the hacker of the group in a convent? Please. i love my baby girl, she deserves the world.
Beatrice : Travel Vlogs
Just imagine, beatrice lives her life, but behind the scenes Ava's back home planning for a holy war. Camila is in constant contact with her but says nothing. I'm pretty sure i've read this. (okay maybe i've read a handful of fics like this) But i'd find it such an interesting test to their relationship. Micheal was back on earth months before he reached out to his mum, like imagine how hurt Jullian was when she did the math.
Suzanne and Duretti : The spies in the clergy.
I mean, imagine : They knew each other way back when they were staring out. I'd love to see a spies esc series of them trading information back and forth, helping each other get to wehre they are now.
Shotgun Mary : I was cooking paella.
No body, no death. Mary is back in that small town living her best life.
Lilith : I believe i can fly.
Hear me out, a mini series of lilith's life in between the battle against Adriel and the ending of season 2. Just Lilith has wings and all scally like, where did she teleport to? Where did she hide? is she hiding? I WANT TO KNOW! Lilith why did you make out with that asshole?! You deserved so much better!

Profile Masterpost
Hi. WilyGryphon here. How is everyone doing?
What you can expect from me: I write fanfiction and I draw, and I will reflect and provide commentary/reblog commentary and gags that I particularly like on fandoms that I am involved in.
My Works:
Kingdom Hearts - Destiny Vault
My first fanfic. Ongoing. Tells an all new, all different adventure that diverges from canon after KHII. Upon learning that Maleficent and a new foe have gathered an assortment of villains to seek a great power that would change the balance of power—and will cause untold destruction in order to get it—the heroes unite and go on a quest to thwart them. Along the way, they learn of and work to solve the problems faced by friends old and new.
Fic: FFN AO3 Tags: X
Heart of Steel
Fusion Fic Crossover Saga between Kingdom Hearts and the Arrowverse (will ultimately expand into greater Disney and DC Comics lore). Sora and Kara Zor-El are adopted siblings, and they journey together with Donald and Goofy to save the worlds from the forces of Darkness.

Non-Penned AUs
Miraculous Ladybug Rewrite
How I would redo the story of Miraculous Ladybug if I were to do so. Notable details would be: Chloé gets a redemption that sticks; Gabriel is more consistent in terms of his standards and what he is willing to do for his goal; Season 3 finale identity reveal; and Adrigaminette endgame. Here
Gryphonverse
A massive multimedia multi-fandom Crossover which I am currently outlining. Includes several different works that take place in the same world (and some that are in different worlds but tie in with the others; they all share the same continuity). Here
The Key to the Miraculous (KH + ML Crossover)
Sora winds up in the Miraculous Ladybug universe after the events of KH3, and he ends up befriending the cast and joining forces with Ladybug and Chat Noir. Here
Unforgotten - ML Oblivio AU
Ladybug and Chat Noir do not lose their memories between getting hit by Oblivio and the Miraculous Cure, so they remember learning each other's identities and falling in love. How things deviate from canon with them knowing each other and dating from that point. Here
Lacewing and Blue Peacock
The Black Cat and Ladybug Miraculouses are in the hands of two separate villains—Gabriel Agreste and Martina Rossi—who go at each other's throats trying to claim the other's Miraculous. To combat this, Master Fu gives the Butterfly Miraculous to Marinette and the Peacock Miraculous to Adrien. As Lacewing and Blue Peacock, the young Holders empower civilians as Champions and grant support Sentimonsters to help them with their problems and to prevent Shadow Panther and Coccinella from destroying the city in their conflict. Here
Double Bug (Miraculous Ladybug AU)
Marinette successfully passes the Ladybug earrings to Alya, who becomes Scarabella, but Alya learns what happens and convinces Marinette to tag-team the role of Ladybug hero. Here
Deadlybug
Ladybug and Chat Noir confront Monarch, but Monarch sends out a Megakuma to Akumatize Chat Noir. Fearing a Chat Blanc repeat, Ladybug intercepts the Akuma, becoming Akumatized in the process. Here
Ladybug of Light, Cat of Darkness
Kingdom Hearts/Miraculous Ladybug Fusion. Childhood friends Marinette, Adrien and Chloé are separated when their island homeworld is consumed by the Heartless and Akumas. As Ladybug and Chat Noir, Marinette and Adrien meet up in Traverse Town, but they do not know who the other really is, even as they journey together with Donald and Goofy to fight the forces of Darkness and search for Chloé. Here
Ragnarok de Dies Irae
Post-KH3 Epic where recent crises have destabilized barriers in space-time, resulting in sealed gods returning to threaten the worlds. The Guardians of Light work to stop these entities and restore order to the worlds. Meanwhile, Sora works to protect the stability from a different plane of existence while searching for a way back home. Here

Warrior nun AU...Robin would be Ava, Nancy then obviously Beatrice. Either Chrissy or Vickie as Carmilla...thoughts are there...
This sounds really cool! Unfortunately I can’t really add to this as I haven’t actually watched it yet (it happened to be during a very busy, very stressful time at my university + finals), but if one of the Warrior Nun mutuals wanted to expand on this or give their thoughts, they’re welcome to hijack this ask lol

Behold Dune: An Exclusive Look at Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, and More
Timothée Chalamet remembers the darkness. It was the summer of 2019, and the cast and crew of Dune had ventured deep into the sandstone and granite canyons of southern Jordan, leaving in the middle of the night so they could catch the dawn on camera. The light spilling over the chasms gave the landscape an otherworldly feel. It was what they had come for.
“It was really surreal,” says Chalamet. “There are these Goliath landscapes, which you may imagine existing on planets in our universe, but not on Earth.”
They weren’t on Earth anymore, anyway. They were on a deadly, dust-dry battleground planet called Arrakis. In Frank Herbert’s epic 1965 sci-fi novel, Arrakis is the only known location of the galaxy’s most vital resource, the mind-altering, time-and-space-warping “spice.” In the new film adaptation, directed by Arrival and Blade Runner 2049 filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, Chalamet stars as the young royal Paul Atreides, the proverbial stranger in a very strange land, who’s fighting to protect this hostile new home even as it threatens to destroy him. Humans are the aliens on Arrakis. The dominant species on that world are immense, voracious sandworms that burrow through the barren drifts like subterranean dragons.
For the infinite seas of sand that give the story its title, the production moved to remote regions outside Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, where the temperatures rivaled the fiction in Herbert’s story. “I remember going out of my room at 2 a.m., and it being probably 100 degrees,” says Chalamet. During the shoot, he and the other actors were costumed in what the world of Dune calls “stillsuits”—thick, rubbery armor that preserves the body’s moisture, even gathering tiny bits from the breath exhaled through the nose. In the story, the suits are life-giving. In real life, they were agony. “The shooting temperature was sometimes 120 degrees,” says Chalamet. “They put a cap on it out there, if it gets too hot. I forget what the exact number is, but you can’t keep working.” The circumstances fed the story they were there to tell: “In a really grounded way, it was helpful to be in the stillsuits and to be at that level of exhaustion.”
It wouldn’t be Dune if it were easy. Herbert’s novel became a sci-fi touchstone in the 1960s, heralded for its world-building and ecological subtext, as well as its intricate (some say impenetrable) plot focusing on two families struggling for supremacy over Arrakis. The book created ripples that many see in everything from Star Wars to Alien to Game of Thrones. Still, for decades, the novel itself has defied adaptation. In the ’70s, the wild man experimental filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky mounted a quest to film it, but Hollywood considered the project too risky. David Lynch brought Dune to the big screen in a 1984 feature, but it was derided as an incomprehensible mess and a blight on his filmography. In 2000, a Dune miniseries on what’s now the SyFy channel became a hit for the cable network, but it is now only dimly remembered.
Villeneuve intends to create a Dune that has so far only existed in the imagination of readers. The key, he says, was to break the sprawling narrative in half. When Dune hits theaters on December 18, it will only be half the novel, with Warner Bros. agreeing to tell the story in two films, similar to the studio’s approach with Stephen King’s It and It Chapter Two. “I would not agree to make this adaptation of the book with one single movie,” says Villeneuve. “The world is too complex. It’s a world that takes its power in details.”
For Villeneuve, this 55-year-old story about a planet being mined to death was not merely a space adventure, but a prophecy. “No matter what you believe, Earth is changing, and we will have to adapt,” he says. “That’s why I think that Dune, this book, was written in the 20th century. It was a distant portrait of the reality of the oil and the capitalism and the exploitation—the overexploitation—of Earth. Today, things are just worse. It’s a coming-of-age story, but also a call for action for the youth.”
Chalamet’s character, Paul, thinks he’s just a boy struggling to find a place in the world, but he actually possesses the ability to change it. He has a supernatural gift to harness and unleash energy, lead others, and meld with the heart of his new home world. Think Greta Thunberg, only she’s a Jedi with a degree from Hogwarts. Paul comes from a powerful galactic family with a name that sounds like a constellation—the House Atreides. His father and mother, Duke Leto (played by Oscar Isaac) and Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson), take their son from their lush, Scandinavian-like home world to preside over spice extraction on Arrakis. What follows is a clash with the criminal, politically connected House Harkonnen, led by the monstrous Baron Vladimir (Stellan Skarsgård), a mammoth with merciless appetites. The baron, created with full-body prosthetics, is like a rhino in human form. This version of the character is less of a madman and more of a predator. “As much as I deeply love the book, I felt that the baron was flirting very often with caricature,” says Villeneuve. “And I tried to bring him a bit more dimension. That’s why I brought in Stellan. Stellan has something in the eyes. You feel that there’s someone thinking, thinking, thinking—that has tension and is calculating inside, deep in the eyes. I can testify, it can be quite frightening.”
The director has also expanded the role of Paul’s mother, Lady Jessica. She’s a member of the Bene Gesserit, a sect of women who can read minds, control people with their voice (again, a precursor to the Jedi mind trick), and manipulate the balance of power in the universe. In the script, which Villeneuve wrote with Eric Roth and Jon Spaihts, she is even more fearsome than before. The studio’s plot synopsis describes her as a “warrior priestess.” As Villeneuve jokes, “It’s better than ‘space nun.’ ”
Lady Jessica’s duty is to deliver a savior to the universe—and now she has a greater role in defending and training Paul too. “She’s a mother, she’s a concubine, she’s a soldier,” says Ferguson. “Denis was very respectful of Frank’s work in the book, [but] the quality of the arcs for much of the women have been brought up to a new level. There were some shifts he did, and they are beautifully portrayed now.”
In an intriguing change to the source material, Villeneuve has also updated Dr. Liet Kynes, the leading ecologist on Arrakis and an independent power broker amid the various warring factions. Although always depicted as a white man, the character is now played by Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Rogue One), a black woman. “What Denis had stated to me was there was a lack of female characters in his cast, and he had always been very feminist, pro-women, and wanted to write the role for a woman,” Duncan-Brewster says. “This human being manages to basically keep the peace amongst many people. Women are very good at that, so why can’t Kynes be a woman? Why shouldn’t Kynes be a woman?”
As fans will know, there’s a vast menagerie of other characters populating Dune. There are humans called “mentats,” augmented with computerlike minds. Paul is mentored by two of them. There are also the bravado warriors Duncan Idaho and Gurney Halleck, played by Jason Momoa and Josh Brolin. Dave Bautista plays a sinister Harkonnen enforcer Glossu Rabban, and Charlotte Rampling has a key role as the Bene Gesserit reverend mother. The list goes on. In the seemingly unlivable wilds of Arrakis, Javier Bardem leads the Fremen tribe as Stilgar, and Zendaya costars as a mystery woman named Chani, who haunts Paul in his dreams as a vision with glowing blue eyes.
The breadth of Dune is what has made it so confounding for others to adapt. “It’s a book that tackles politics, religion, ecology, spirituality—and with a lot of characters,” says Villeneuve. “I think that’s why it’s so difficult. Honestly, it’s by far the most difficult thing I’ve done in my life.” After finishing this first movie, he’ll just have to do it all over again.

If Mike & Bryan make another Avatar animated TV show ...
I hope they make the avatar originate from one of the lesser known cultures in that universe.
1. Water cycle: Swamp benders (see episode 2x04 “The Swamp”).
2. Earth cycle: Sand benders (see episode 2x11 “The Desert”).
3. Fire cycle: Sun Warriors (see episode 3x13 “The Firebending Masters”).
4. Air cycle: Western air temple female nuns (see episode 3x12; this would be where avatar Yangchen grew up).
This way the universe can expand even more.
Side note, I’ve always wondered why the Air nomads segregate the men from women when they’re supposed to be the most inclusive spiritual people, all about equality and balance. It’s canon that they are LGBTQ+ inclusive, yet they separate the monks from the nuns.
Also, what happened to Aang’s parents? Did they just give him up to monk Gyatso?
