oh my god i love useless factoids. tell me more useless drag race factoids

all my factoids are about english speaking seasons for the most part. idk much abt the other ones

ooh here’s a REALLY useless one. gottmik, jada shada hudson, etcetera etcetera, krystal versace, jaida essence hall, and daya betty (and probably more i’m missing) all have rumix verses where they mention a snatched/cinched/tiny waist.

“face is stamped so right, clown paint and waist so tight” (gottmik, lucky)

“drag race, beat face, small waist, wigs laced” (jada shada hudson, true north strong and fierce)

“snatched face, tiny waist, bet you thought you’d never see this bitch on drag race” (etcetera etcetera, queens down under)

if i went through and counted all the verses that mentioned the “crown” or “making [parental figure] proud” i think i would die . maybe i’ll do that

pandora boxx was the first queen to ever have an entrance line in season 2 (hey, fake ladies !) and i BELIEVE jiggly caliente was the first to ever have an exit line in season 4 (deuces !) . funny how both were on all stars 6

speaking of jiggly, she and mariah balenciaga are two queens that have censored mirror messages ! jiggly, as a trans woman, wrote a mirror message about paying for trans surgery in season 4, which was censored in the edit. and then of course you have mariah’s iconic “congratulations raja” mirror message - many, many episodes before raja would actually be crowned the winner of season 3.

the first queen to ever write a mirror message was shangela.

shea couleé is the only queen to my knowledge to enter the werkroom first, twice. (on as5 and as7.) the vivienne and bebe zahara benet have both entered last twice. unless. unless you count raven as entering last on as7 but who would count raven in anyrhing ever

i forget if bianca del rio, envy peru or la diamond has the best track record out of all the winners, but it’s one of ‘em. think it depends on who you ask. i think it’s agreed that priyanka has the worst though 🥲

in the infinite list of rugirls, acid betty is first alphabetically, and yvie oddly is last.

bebe, tyra, raja, aquaria, chad, and the vivienne all won after entering the workroom last. trixie, shea, lawrence chaney, danny beard, and priyanka all won after entering first (bianca entered first in her premiere group, so she kind of counts ?)

elecktra bionic is the only winner to have no challenge wims. priyanka has 2 and STILL has the worst track record 😔can’t believe theyd do my favourite winner like this💔

dax exclamationpoint is violet chachki’s drag mother (in the words of laganja: dax ? the nerd ???) chad is morgan mcmichaels’ mother, asia is phi phi/jaremi’s, honey davenport is monét’s, and theres way more that i’m forgetting 😵‍💫

max is the lowest placing queen to win more than one challenge, placing 9th post trixie comeback.

Drag Race France Season 1 - My thoughts

Hello DRF fans, I've talked about this a little bit but today I'm finally starting what will be an intense rewatch of the show, detailing every tiny thing and analyzing placements, challenges, critiques, social interactions etc. This series will be more Paloma focused, simply because that's what I focus on the most when I watch DRF. So without further ado, let's dive into EPISODE 1🫡

The first episode of a Drag Race season is always an exciting one. You go in not knowing what the season will bring and you're meeting this whole new group of queens. DRF1 only had 10 contestants, but they were the best of the best for sure. Personally, I was very excited to start DRF! I was mainly expecting very good fashion, but other than that I didn't know what a treat I was in for. The queens enter the werkroom as follows:

Kam

La Big Bertha

Elips

Lolita Banana

Soa de Muse

La Grande Dame

Lova LaDiva

La Kahena

La Briochée

Paloma

Personally, I think everyone had really strong entrances. The first impression matters a lot both for the audience and the other queens. Right off the bat, Kam is giving us shady but entertaining confessionals haha. Different little melodies would play for each queen to match their looks, but Paloma was the only one to have that really impactful rock music moment when she walked in which was SO ICONIC😩A fun fact: Paloma's entrance line is identical to Kiara's from season one of Canada's Drag Race. They are the first two queens to use the same line on different franchises! Personal observation: French people love to shout 😭 The first mini-challenge is the current standard for first episodes: a photoshoot (with a twist.) Usually this twist would be something that makes you either look very silly or some sort of obstacle you have to overcome to slay in your photo. Think rain, wind, being upside down etc. However, the twist here is just that they call in hyper cancan dancers lol. It was cute though.

Confessionals like this about Lolita begin already in episode 1.

Time to get out of drag! It's always very fun to see everyone look at each other out of drag in the werkroom for the first time. Right away there aren't really any groups forming yet, however Kam and Paloma are sort of sticking together since they knew each other well. Paloma said on a podcast that she was nervous in the first episode because of all the big personalities and I feel like you can really tell.

We stan the immediate dive into body positivity and mental health, the girls really did not waste any time when it came to being vulnerable (well, except one of them🍌)

THE TIME HAS COME FOR THE FIRST EVER MAXI CHALLENGE OF THE SEASON😩❤️ I love that they did a talent show, I think that it's a great and FAIR way to do it, that way no one has to do something they're not good at in the first episode and everyone gets to show the judges who they are. I think we all agree that this was a phenomenal show!! The fact that JPG was there in the very first episode was LEGENDARYYY! I'm not going to talk all too much about the performances but I'll give my two cents: Lolita: INCREDIBLE she let everyone know to be scared of her. There are queens who dance, and then there are queens who are DANCERS, and she made it VERY CLEAR which one she belongs to. The double ruveals were a very nice element and, I think, crucial to making sure it wasn't just good enough but it was great. Kam: this was honestly avant garde theatre to me. I was cringing but also it was so surreal that I was like WTF. Live singing is already a scary choice. Extremely embarrassing for her that she was followed by.... La Briochée: She was very good! She did well with the singing and everyone were clearly moved. I loved loved loved her outfit too PALOMA: I know I used the expression "my two cents" but she will have my entire wallet. Stand-up is a HUGE risk, and so hard to pull off.

right away the outfit let's you know that she has a character in store for us. Her opening jokes get laughs which is great, and she took a risk by involving Daphné, but it payed off. All the jokes have great set-up and punchlines. She already had LolaShiva in her roster, and I think she was the perfect Gourmandes girl to pick. This already happened on reddit, but Krÿstal would immediately be misinterpreted as Latina by American audiences and therefore a very offensive character, and Anne-Cyprine isn't funny in the stand-up way. But what's even more important is that LolaShiva looks VERY different from when Gourmandes was made. Imagine if she showed up like this

Career SLAUGHTER. Gourmandes is VERY cheeky satire and LolaShiva is by far the boldest character. She wouldn't have time to communicate her in two minutes with just the costumes and jokes, you need to watch the show to really get past what you see and understand that it's supposed to be offensive because it's making fun of white women like LolaShiva. And had she done old-school Lola it would have backfired completely

completely irrelevant but I wanted to point out her making sure the talking stick doesn't fall out of her wig lol. A very smart thing to do was have that gong at the end to make sure she didn't go over the two minutes and also gave a natural end to it all. BRAVO PALOMA👏🏻 La Grande Dame: I thought her number was really cool and unique, again, live music is a huge risk but she slayed! And it was Elips: I think her number really illustrates her personality and journey on the show, shy/quiet and mysterious but with a lot of fire to offer. It had a slow build and I feel like she ultimately didn't stand out just enough because of it. It was memorable but it spent a lot of time getting to being memorable, if that makes sense. Soa de Muse: I mean what can I say. She made it clear right away that live music does NOT scare her. The outfit was tres French and she had a playful edge.... honestly I don't have much more to say because the performance speaks for itself. I do believe she deserved the win. Lova Ladiva: I don't want to talk about this<3 Love her though La Kahena: I don't want to talk about this<3 It's hard to say something because the subtitles were so bad I probably missed a lot of jokes, I felt like it was good but I couldn't figure out why? if that makes sense? Like it had a lot of potential, to me. But like Paloma said in the confessional; it dragged a bit. La Big Bertha: I liked her number a lot and it was actually my favorite performance of any kind she gave on the show. I enjoyed that it wasn't just burlesque but also had that comedy element, it elevated the routine for me. LOL @ Kam's "is she going to take it all off?🫣" confessional.

RUNWAY TIME this was a REALLY strong runway but you can literally say that for every runway this season. I loved La Briochée's look SO MUCH it was stunningly made and really beautiful. No notes tbh Lolita's look was creative but also not my favorite, she could have won with a stronger look LOVA'S RUNWAY was SO GOOD, TO ME. It was my favorite thing she wore at any point in the show (and I know she wasn't there for 70% of it but ykwim) Soa de Muse. That's it. Solidified her top 3 placement right there tbh. I didn't predict her win right away but that's just because everyone* did SO GOOD this episode my head was spinning. La Kahena: loved her look so much but I knew it wasn't going to save her </3 PALOMAAAA this look is LOVELY. I think she stood out from everyone else, I was WAITING for somebody to do that show!!! I do not like the fabric. At all. The print is lovely and the dress is lovely but I do not like the stretchy fabric and how it shines (/doesn't) at all. I was intrigued by the black hair in a way, I actually thought she was a brunette in drag! Like, she entered in a red wig, yes, but that was sculptural and she had a monochrome outfit. And her LolaShiva wig was obviously not a wig that she wears with actual runway looks. So based on the JPG runway I thought she was black-haired! I like that we saw a bit of her gothic side, reeeeeally enjoyed that.

her lil lip-bite moment..............................................Slayed I fear Elips: WOW just wow. It was very modest but the tailoring was just insane and it showed her personality. Kam Hugh: This really was her golden ticket out of the bottom, it was so pretty when we got to see it close up. La Grande Dame: Really lovely and I didn't expect it from her, actually! But looking back she had very little charisma on the runway in the beginning, I'm glad she was able to listen to the judges later on when they told her to have more joie de vivre on stage. When all the queens were on stage together I was amazed by the diversity and quality of the runway!

Time for critiques ahhhh!! Paloma looked like she was going to have a heart attack before they even started😭

Lolita being safe was kind of insane but it was 100% because of the runway. Honestly I don't have much to say about the critiques from the judges because I already agreed with them throughout this. Nicky's moment of bonding with La Kahena was so sweet, I'm glad she was able to let her down gently. SIDENOTE I LOVE THE GIRLS' AND JEAN-PAUL'S DYNAMIC he was such a fun and good guest judge!!! Everyone was really nice to each other in untucked and no one bitched and moaned about their placement, which was v nice :). I don't have much to say about the rest of the episode, even though I was SO upset to see La Kahena go so soon, I couldn't pretend Lova didn't slay that lipsync she took them to chuuuurch🙏🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Paloma was so nervous during Kam's final critiques and also really nervous for La Kahena, and I can't help but think about how it must have felt to stand there and experience it when she's been a big fan of the show for so long!! She already knew queens on the season but it was very clear that she considered Kam her friend there. Someone she knew she could count on. Seeing her in the bottom the first week must have been so intense for her!

KAM'S REACTION TO LOVA STAYING💀 PLEASE I LOVE HER I feel like when they all went on stage at the end, the dynamic was still a bit shy... like, there were hugs but nothing crazy and it seemed like the girls were still a little bit shy or reserved. That's just what I think though.

Paloma does in fact go to hug Kam right away and you can tell how relieved they both were to have survived.

And that is it for Bonjour, Bonjour, Bonjour! I was immediately in love with the season, the queens really surprised me and the production quality was so nice for a baby franchise!! In the sneak-peak for the next episode they show Paloma's confessional of her saying "Acting challenge, that's mine." and I was... nervous but intrigued. It's always 50/50 when a queen claims they've got a challenge in the bag. But at the same time, she was funny in the stand-up routine and I felt like I knew SO LITTLE about her, so I was very intrigued to see what was going to happen.

The Terror if the cold boys were contestants on a season of RuPaul's Drag Race. Would love all your opinions but here are some scenarios

Crozier and Blanky as the queens from the Mid-west, wary of the New York and LA queens

JFJ (new york queen) and Crozier enemies on sight when JFJ calls Crozier's entrance look "busted". Crozier thinks JFJ is a no-talent instagram queen. This is tested when JFJ wins Snatch Game playing Britannia the national personification of Britain, sticking to her guns even when Ru tells her point-blank during the werkroom walk-through "I think you're in trouble"

Queens have to vote for various titles including "Trade of the season". Pretty much everyone votes Solomon Tozer except Crozier who admits aside to Blanky (mics pick this up) that she voted James Fitzjames. Crozier is like, "I hated to do it I don't even think she looks GOOD but whatever it was the principle of the thing" and Blanky is like [takes a pause from beating her face] "Literally what are you talking about"

Half of JFJ's confessionals are her complaining about how New York queens are oppressed for their talent and how Blanky and Crozier think they're too good to mingle with the other queens

Blanky and Crozier one hundred percent think they're too good to mingle with the other queens. One hundred percent

Edward Gibson is the queen who is repeatedly instructed by the judges to show variation in make-up because she's always coming out in a smoky eye that makes it look like she's got lead poisoning. And in the next runway you know what she does? Comes out in a smoky eye. Girl

Hodgson is a whiny filler queen but the episode she gets eliminated she gets a nice edit about her accepting lesbian aunts who took her in when she had to run away from her homophobic family. So when she does get eliminated it's like "I wish you well" and not "Fucking finally" though it's a little that as well

Sir John Franklin new york queen legend been performing for 15 years is sent home FIRST. Everyone is gagged. Her partner Lady Jane writes a long twitter thread accusing SJF's agent of pressuring SFJ to take part when she wasn't mentally ready, the other queens of sabotage, and RuPaul of ageism

When Hickey make her entrance everyone is like ? Who she lol never heard the name. Keeps to herself, turns out under-the-radar slutty looks, solidly safe for the first half of the season until she has to lip sync for her life (Crozier put her after Blanky in the line-up for the roast challenge) and then something snaps and her confessionals become deranged. After one werkroom walk-through she says "I think RuPaul wants to fuck me." The most followed queen on Instagram of her season

Hickey tries getting Goodsir to stitch her garment in the sewing challenge by confiding she thinks Goodsir is the frontrunner. Goodsir says, pin in his mouth and not even looking away from the sewing machine, "That works on people? Successfully?" Becomes a semi-niche semi-well known reaction image

Goodsir edges out Blanky for Miss Congeniality in her season but Blanky turns out a memorable lip sync on a peg leg (Category was "Yo Hoe Hoe") and is swarmed by all the contestants when she is asked to shantay away. The most self-assured of all the contestants, fan favourite, even had Michelle Visage make excuses for her bad runway looks

Crozier is the dark horse. Middling / bottom for the first half, comes up from behind in the second half to win it all. Reveals after her first win in the workroom that she has never been this sober for this long and she intends to keep at it .... JFJ goes up to her after that and hugs her. They are friends after this

Later when the queens are all talking about their families you can see her in the background telling Crozier something that the mics can't pick up. They are inseparable after this

When it comes to the final lip sync for the crown, Crozier doesn't turn it out exactly....but Hickey basically hands her the crown when she makes the bizarre choice to not lip sync to the song being played...but a totally different song....while standing in one spot and waving her arms like a conductor? Buzzfeed Youtube gets a conductor from the Vienna Philharmonic to react to the video, and the conductor's best guess is that Hickey is conducting Wagner's Das Rheingold. To this day half of Hickey's fanbase is truthers who believe Hickey was set up for the wrong song

Our boys, but how they would act/their personal style if they were on Drag Race

Tommy:the one who tries to not take sides and is the mom of the group; looks are kinda basic and is overall average in talent; legit no one can stay mad at him for too long and he can take criticism and apply it to his craft without taking it to heart

Paulie: chaos, pure and simple; imagine a mix of Laganja and Bendela Creme; the Queen of Comedy and acting challenges and can werk the haus mawmaw; looks are all over the place but somehow makes it work

Sam: that bitch who can throw shade like no one’s business with a smile; looks are on point and is considered a lipsync assasin in his own right but tends to play it safe in challenges due to his own insecurities

Vito:new to drag and tries his best; tends to second guess himself, but his loyalty is umatched; has the best werkroom entrance and is the drag daughter of Henry

Joe: could rival Paulie in comedy but his looks are…questionable at times; has been called out by the judges for missing the assignment at times trying to be ‘out there’; also is Henry’s drag daughter

Henry: can turn heads and looks but tends to get pulled into uneccesary drama; comes from a rough life but has grown through his traumas to be the boss bitch he is; Vito’s and Joe’s Drag mom for sure

Drag Race France season 1, episode 2, my thoughts🍾

Hi racers, I am BACK to recap and analyze season 1 of DRF and we are on what is actually my FAVORITE episode of the season, I cannot tell you how many times I've re-watched this😭 SHOWTIME!

per usual, the episode starts off after the elimination when the queens return to the werkroom. Still can't believe it's all one huge room like they're technically not returning to anything😭

that was a lie.

A new week has begun! This is the beginning of their silly werkroom entrances I love them so much :')

🚨Paloma quotes Mylène, I think this was the first time she explicitly referenced her🚨

I love the queens hyping Nicky up in his lil leather moment, the vibes are so good😭❤️

Nicky tells the queens, first to scream, and then to yell. This is typical of the French. The girls have 20 minutes to get into quick drag for the mini challenge, which is to do a rock performance with DRAG KINGSSS YASSS !!!❤️‍🔥 It won't happen but wouldn't it be so fun if Sergueï went on the show and kept the crown in the family? Either way, I genuinely predict that we'll see our first king/s compete on either DRF2 or DRESP3. QUOTE ME ON THAT!🗣️

Being the superfan of the show that she is, Paloma explains the nature of the mini challenge✨

I liked seeing Soa talk to Bertha while Bertha was running around and stressing out, we got a little glimpse of their dynamic back home🕵🏻

Once again Kam is killing me with her shady confessionals😭💀

This was a fun mini-challenge and it seemed like everyone had a fun time. Especially Paloma who gave it her all (note: Paloma 2022 wig, 80s earrings from a bygone era, one of many web/net dresses, and yellow boa that she wore on The Masked Singer. You can't see them here but I'm dying to know more about the snake print heels she wore👁️👁️)

LGD was cracking me UPPP I love when someone picks a character for a mini challenges and commits to the bit. And she showed that she can be weird and ugly!

subtitle mistake: the title of Call My Agent was directly translated to Ten Percent, however this worked out well because it made "Queen Percent" make sense as the parody title. Later it is translated to Call My Agent, the English title.

As the winner of the mini-challenge, LGD gets to assign everyone's roles. This is her opportunity to sabotage everyone, but since this is RuPaul's Best Friend Race she won't do that.

AS SOON AS LGD MENTIONED VIVIANE SHE GRINNED FROM EAR TO EAR SHJDHJSHSK. Dame points out that the roles are clearly written with the queens in mind. THIS IS WHERE THE RIGGORY BEGINS. They wrote in, literally based the story around, a Latina character, and then Lolita was criticized for playing the role. .........

I was surprised to hear Kam say she's done Edith Piaf before, but I've come to learn that Kam is a lot more than meets the surface and can be very strange. It was also very sporty of her to let La Briochée have the role instead, shout-out to Kam! Marianne James visits the werkroom and I have to say I'm so glad they brought in someone with that level of experience to help with the challenge!! Nicky went home during the acting challenge on her season, after all.

Get yourself someone who looks at you the way Paloma looks at Marianne James❤️(once again with the fingers...)

I normally am not a huge fan of acting challenges shot in the werkroom but this time it worked well because they at least put up a wall and made it look like a different room

TIME TO ACT!

Because we still hadn't seen a lot of the queens and like I said, I hadn't singled out Paloma yet, I was very intrigued when I saw her outfit and over-all curious about the skit.

I thought what LGD was doing with her accent and cadence was SO FUNNY I still can't fathom why they didn't like it!! But I do think they gave her constructive criticism and good direction regardless, and you could tell it was hard for her to do something other than what she'd planned. Then there is the iconic, César and Emmy award-winning performance of Lova Ladiva as Kimberley. That Emmy actually helped Lova achieve EGOT status. Cue one of my favorite Paloma confessionals

NOW WE GET TO SEE PALOMA ACT YAYY ^-^ the way she says reggaeton scratches my brain so nicely and all the jokes in her part were already really funny and she just delivered them so well. I love how she walked in with confidence and I thought she was super professional. I'll talk more about the actual skit when we see the finished product. LOVA IN THE BACK PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE

Bertha got nervous the second she received any notes from Marianne, which is understandable, but also stupid. I was so relieved that Elips did great with her scene, and I'm glad she had fun with the role. It's really important to nail those smaller characters with less screen-time, and she totally did. La Briochée's shoot was barely shown and my impression based solely on that was that she would be safe (and she was!) THEN, LOLITA COMES IN AND NAILS IT IN JUST ONE TAKE. That is RARE. Soa comes in and immediately it is a mess and I'm nervous for her. But at least she was aware of exactly what was happening (she said it in her confessional.) Then they skip to the end of the shoot as to not spoil the dramatic plot twist😌

Would like to point out Paloma and Lolita. Remember this moment.

I am LIVING for delusional Lova!!

While doing their makeup the girls have a heartfelt talk about coming out of the closet. This felt pretty genuine, it wasn't just like "okay now we have to talk about this to teach the audience about what LGBT is" and it was nice hearing everyone's stories, and cool to hear Soa talk about her journey with gender identity! Over-all I feel like we got multiple perspectives of different backgrounds in this talk, even if it wasn't a hardcore, kleenex kind of scene it was still heartfelt.

RUNWAY TIME

Earlier in the episode when Nicky mentioned both The César Awards and The Oscar Awards, they kept César- but this time when she just said César, they subtitled it as Oscar! Interesting to see what makes the cultural context filter and what doesn't. This week's runway is "Say it with flowers" which in English was simply subtitled as "floral" oh well.

Soa: Very cool but compared to the others.... it's a miss for me I fear.

Kam: honestly... she didn't have a single bad runway, in my book. this is stunning- yes it is very literal and floral but it's just too fucking good

La Big Bertha: I mean, she technically did say it with flowers... but overall the look is not up to par. and personally I don't like food on the runway it's overdone

Elips: Stunning, creative, completely outside the box❤️

La Briochée: THIS WAS SO CREATIVE loved it

Lolita Banana: I am going to say something completely unexpected and perhaps controversial to some........ Lolita could and should have won this episode. DON'T GO!!! I LOVE PALOMA SHE ALSO DESERVED IT!!! me and my mom literally discussed this for DAYS we were in the car and she turned off the radio and went "can we talk? because i dont know how to feel about who won last night..." mind you this was before the Paloma obsession kicked in. Stunning reveal, stunning look, stunning story.

Paloma: this made me think. like, i was so intrigued by this. she said it's "100% Paloma" and that made me even more curious as to WHO IS SHE!! also it was so cool to see that niche reference and even cooler that Daphné recognized it. I'm not big on bodysuits but this is obviously way more than that and really elevated and gorgeous. the way the thorns surround her is just magical and such a creative take on the theme.

Lova Ladiva: it hurt to watch, really

La Grande Dame: another less literal interpretation of flowers, at first i didn't like it but honestly it's so stunning. sorry, Soa, but she gets away with it tonight

IT'S TIME TO WATCH THE FUNNIEST ACTING CHALLENGE ON DRAG RACE EVER !!!!! This is the only one that I've re-watched over and over, I could probably recite the whole thing if I spoke French. Paloma and LGD gave the best performances in my opinion. I was surprised LGD was able to carry it like that! her and Paloma were definitely the supporting pillars of the sketch, they made a really strong team together. Within the first three seconds we see her, Paloma is a powerhouse. Her character is well-rounded yet easy to understand, and her line-delivery is just hysterical.

C'est un miracle🚬

The physical gags like the champagne cork hitting Kimberley were actually so funny and the strange slapstick-like acting was simply... art. LGD was so funny! I still can't believe the judges weren't thrilled with her. Idk why but when Paloma sat down w her legs spread I was like "oh god what is she about to do" like idk the character choice immediately made sense and made me soooo excited to see where she was going to take it. "La Vie En Rose 2: Le retour d'Edith" makes me laugh so I hard I cry. me and my brother will literally just randomly quote this sketch at each other all the time. The plot of the sketch is so easy to follow, even when you haven't seen Call My Agent, and it never relied on just screaming/fighting/making fun of lesbians like some sketches (mostly improvised ones) do... also I love how many of Paloma's outfits on the show were things she already had and has worn many times, if you look through old photos you can find all the pieces of this look! Thrifty queen.

Bertha did a better job than I expected!🤭 Good for her, it wasn't an easy character to work with. All the queens with supporting roles had their work cut out for them since they had little time to communicate very quirky characters, so aside from Soa they all did really well!

If you pay attention you'll see that Paloma (and LGD too) stayed in character the ENTIRE time just sitting down. Even the way she was sitting was in character. Her mannerisms and looks and ALL OF IT was perfect and consistent. Also is the way she played Viviane like some sort of typical character in French comedy? This is so niche but there was a sketch Mylène did on Colaricocoshow and one of the characters reminded me so much of her... either way, Paloma is clearly very smart and a good actor.

I don't want anyone to like, kill themselves or something, but Lolita was wearing the nails that Paloma borrowed in episode six😐

Soa's performance was a hot mess, I'm sorry but she was the only one who made me cringe. oddly enough she nailed the 'singing' part?? "I'm gonna give you HEDITH"

Rewatching this is making me laugh so hard I'm going to wake my mom up omfg. "But Kimberley, it's your job! You're my assistant, for crying out loud!" "JE SUIS UNE ACTRICEEE👅👅👅" 😭😭 Lova Ladiva, please never change.

PALOMA JUST KILLS ME IN THIS SCENE SJDKDHKSDHK she gave us so much range and nuance it's insane!!! The bit with the champagne cork coming back was very funny TO ME and also Lova putting her wig back on and blinking while she's supposed to be passed out😭😭😭

Now it's time for the judges to crush and destroy Lova's dream. Honestly I can't watch this it's just so awkward😭 Marianne James went IN on LGD but tbh that's just keeping it real. Judges, especially guest judges, need to keep it real more often. And clearly it worked!

Time for the critiques.

Now I agree with everything they said to Soa, she didn't push herself enough and needed to live up to the standard she set winning the week before. I thought that Daphné had great feedback for Bertha, generally I think she's very attentive and constructive, and I really like her as a judge.

Let me see if I understood this correctly:

- Lolita did her scene in one take

- Lolita had a spectacular runway, made with love, that told a story

- Lolita made all the judges cry happy tears

- Lolita didn't win...

DON'T GO I PROMISE TO DISCUSS THIS FURTHER FROM BOTH SIDES!!! Paloma was immediately praised for her look: AGREE. Paloma was praised for her performance: HARD AGREE. Paloma was applauded for being a good friend and teammate: IM CRYING AND SHAKING AND THROWING UP: AGREE. she 1000% deserved to won, she also had a much bigger role than Lolita and was in nearly the entire sketch. Only LGD had a slightly bigger role, in terms of being around through the whole sketch, but Paloma had by far the most lines. Where Lolita impressed with one take, Paloma impressed with great takes over and over. Still so much to think about, There is a part of me that resents the production for the treatment of Lolita and wishes that she'd have won certain challenges, mainly this one. But at the same time, it's so easy to just give it to Paloma. She's a total pro, she was just as good, why not just give her the win?

i'm literally going to be thinking about this until the day I die.

UNTUCKED

Everyone agrees Paloma is in the top and she said that Lolita is equally as high😐 I wish I was in a coma.

In deliberations, Kiddy said (about Lolita) "Just because there's a Latina role, doesn't mean it's for you" BFFR. BE FUCKING FOR REAL. RECALL EARLIER IN THE EPISODE WHEN THEY READ THE SCRIPT AND THE ROLES WERE DESIGNED FOR EACH OF THEM? GIRL.......... at least attempt to hide the riggory😐 Lolita was truly the other woman in this episode.

Back on stage, I was actually so torn and biting my nails wondering who would win! I wish that they had the budget for a double win so bad😞 Paloma wins and it's hardly a surprise (except the lack of a double win) and everyone starts chanting her name and cheering for her. I get so emotional even thinking about that moment, I can't. You can tell how much they love and appreciate her, and how they know she's needed to feel that love for a lot of her life. Even if it's not explicit, I think they could tell that she has a sometimes fragile soul (she's a Cancer, after all) and they want to let her know that she means a lot to them................................................😐😭😐

I ran out of photos but if you look at Paloma in the back when Lolita is safe, she look so genuinely proud of her and is cheering for her............................. their friendship makes me feel so sick knowing what's about to happen. Even if they are still close and good friends after the show, it hurts.... Lolita, graceful and humble as ever, commends Paloma on her win and is happy for her. It hurts to smile sometimes.

Paloma kissed Bertha's hand when she was safe :'( <3

As soon as Soa said "let's go!" you knew Lova was going home lol. The song did not feel like a set-up, I feel like they both had their own potential to slay it. But Lova lost when she undressed, and Soa won x3 when she did the "sexy" quotation marks. If you pay close attention to Paloma, she made a heart with her hands 🫶🏻 @ Lova when she walked off the stage :') When the music plays, we don't see Lolita hug a single queen. And to me, her body language was quite reserved. Not even Paloma hugged her. And it ends here. There was no close-up of the doorway as they walked off the stage. If you blink, you miss it.
