wisp animations are fucked but what about khora deluxe . ive seen people put her noble on rhino and its a sight to behold
LMFAO true, his spine just snaps and it's so weird seeing his textures stretch 💀
there was also a glitch (that's now been patched 😔) where wukong prime has an emissive around his butt but bc wisp's agile stretched the texture it looked like he had a glowing butthole. post-patch the emissive is removed entirely when using wisp's agile animation

Congratulations Dante for being the first man to earn S-tier on Overframe (I know it's not the most objective place to measure but still)
Explains all the doomposting about nerfs, but when was the last time a good frame was nerfed? I'm talking the past year or so.
Kullervo got buffed via Overguard buffs/tweaks, whereas Citrine, Dagath and Qorvex are solid frames on their own.
I feel like "omg DE nerfs everything fun" at this point is more of a meme

imagine a rwby remake where blacksun eventually happens and due to the white fangs actions a human group rose up ( and it increased due to the fall of beacon ) and imagine sun finding blake a lot earlier but had to distract those group of humans ( who became hateful and thinking any faunus is a potential wf member by convincing them that he was an actual wf member ( he brought blakes book with him with the intention of giving it to blake ) and using that book and the pics of adam to convince them though he escapes in part due to one of the members looking through the notebook a bit more and seeing the part where it mentions sun wukong and his distaste for the wf but not without suffering some burns. sun wukong in myth survived being set on fire and hit with a lightning bolt ( illia was the lightning bolt. )
how would you feel about this and how would blake react if she ever found out about the whole being set on fire /hit with a lightning bolt ( lets say in this scenario he got scars over his muscles and had to cover his abs to prevent blake from seeing them. when they reunited
If only, anon...
if RWBY got a remake (which i highly doubt anyone will want to touch the property ever again after everything that's happened already...) and they focused more on the relationships that matter, and established what's platonic, and what's not and what's romantic and what's not and didn't let fans run away with delusions or get over vocal and entitled to their RePreSenTatIon for the sake of clout, yeah i'd appreciate that.
as for Blake's reaction, i imagine somewhat similar to what we saw in canon. she'd feel concerned and worried for Sun's wellbeing after something like that, and she'd probably fuss over him until she was absolutely sure he was okay.

Designs and some funfacts about my oc Violet(in the WF au)
Violet is a former heaven angle who left for multiple reasons, including finding out about the FFM burning incident. She's 3x immortal, the peach, Elixir/wine, and having her name erased from the book of the dead. Powers would include: breathing underwater, immune to fire and poison, flying(she has wings), incredibly fast reflexes, more speed and strength, and she can speed up the growing process of plants(Specifically flowers and fruit). Her choice of weapons would be mainly explosives and long ranged weapons; bit she does have a staff with a sharp blade at the end
She like the sray collector, but children wise!....seriously half the kids she has she picked uo from the streets and just took them home- she has a whole bunch of Immortality alcohol and carries a flask of it on her person. She downst take training lightly and won't go easy on you....unless she's actually hurting you and your close to her. A very stubborn person and a tough cookie to crack, her defenses are almost always up and she doesn't trust easily. Besides that though she'll gladly help anyone who needs it, sometimes forcefully. A chaotic, protective, mom figure at best and a defensive, willing to kill, soldier at worst.
Shes 6'2, AroAce, She/Her, and is dyslexic; though noboImmortal peach
And the immortal elixir winedy ever taught her how to read anyways, as they gave up after the first 3 tries because she "wasn't tying"
For her looks she has short purple hair, brown skin, dark blue eyes and white wings. She wears a black top and pants, with a belt that has most of her weapons, and bracelets.
Shes about 15 thousand years old in immortal years so aboutttt 600 human years but physically 35 years, older then Wukong and Mac
Side note: yes she knows NeZha but absolutely refused to train him because "thats a fucking CHILD!" And so they don't see eachtoher much....until later on in the book series when Macaque grabs the boy, proclaims him as his kid and now she's his grandma-
.....she may or may not have passed down the picking up stray children thing to Macaque.....
Another side not: from what I know Zísè means violet in Chinese so, for now that's gonna be her name(in chinese) and by that I Mena, lime Macauqes name is Luier Mihou in chinese but in English we call him the six-eared Macaque or how Meis name is Xiaojiao in chinese so, yeah, just for fun and stuff

Other Ways:
Volt (if not chosen as starter), Zephyr, Nezha, Wukong, Banshee: by replicating ALL BPs from the Dojo "Tenno Lab";
Oberon: BP parts have a chance to drop from Grineer-controlled node in RJ missions (rotation B caches, i.e.: by completing the objective and hacking the vault in the derelicts) + general BP on the market;
Ash: BP parts have a chance to drop from Corpus Defense RJ missions (rotation C, i.e.: every 20 waves) + general BP on the market;
Khora: ALL BPs have a chance to drop from "Sanctuary Onslaught" (not "Elite"), hosted by Cephalon Simaris;
Ivara: ALL BPs have a chance to drop from regular spy missions (except Pago, Kuva Fortress) of different difficulty tiers, upon hacking successfully all three the vaults;
Grendel: general BP on the market + BP parts can be obtained in dedicated missions to start up through some "locators" (purchased from the "Arbitration Honors" vendor, in the "Arbiters of Hexis" HQ) while on Europa. Good luck with that;
Gauss: general BP from the market + all BP parts have a chance of dropping from conduits in Sedna disruption mission, tier C. Good luck with that.
Lavos: purchasable from "Father" at the Necralisk for "Entrati" standings.
Baruuk: ALL BPs purchasable for standings from "Vox Solaris" in Fortuna.
Styanax: Was for free upon logging in until September 21st 2022. Now it's available through the new syndicate "Khal's Garrison".
Voruna: ALL BPs drop from rotation C of the new "Conjunction Survival" nodes on Lua (along with the related weapons + parts). Alternatively, everything can be bought from Yonta at Chrysalith (Zariman) for Lua Thrax Plasm. Needless to say, this latter option is available only for those who completed "The New War" and "Angels of the Zariman".
Citrine: ALL BPs have a chance to drop on rotation C of the new "Mirror Defense" on Mars (Tyana Pass). Weapon parts and BPs too drop from the same mission, on different rotations. The same BPs (and parts) can be also purchased from Otak on Deimos for Belric and Rania's crystal fragments.
Kullervo: ALL BPs can be purchased from Acrithis' shop (unless he will pop up as reward also in the "Circuit") for a total of 42 Kullervo Banes (9 for each BP part + 15 for the general BP). You can also acquire his "Rauta" shotgun from the same shop with the same "currency". Those "banes" can be obtained only by squaring up with Kullervo himself in his little prison island in Duviri.
*** Dagath: All BPs up for replication in "Dagath's Hollow" (a newly added dojo room). Also stop by and listen to Granny Entrati's story. Don't forget your favourite comfort Floof.
*** PLEASE NOTE!
Equinox is a Warframe that will make you spend the most, both in terms of attempts at getting those BPs from the boss fight AND in resources + credits to fully build this Frame.
The quest "Glast Gambit" for Nidus will involve you spending tons of YOUR credits, with some parts of the quest involving the "Index" on Neptune. Be sure to ask for help from other players, if possible. If you lose at the "index" in any way, you'll also lose your own credits.
Octavia's BPs for her parts can be found on Lua and in Deimos' survival mission. IIRC, the survival has a chance of dropping her Neuroptics on rotation C (every 20 minutes), while the systems have a chance to be found in Lua's caches. As for the chassis part, always on Lua there will be a musical puzzle to solve, if the room will spawn.
About Revenant, I'd strongly suggest NOT to build his parts as soon as they're dropped from the bounties, but wait until taking the quest "Mask of the revenant" instead. The reason is that the quest itself will ask you to build certain parts in certain moments. I honestly have no idea if taking that quest while having all the parts already built will make you skip those requests, or if you'll have to retake the bounties to craft those same parts all over again.
You can find tons of "Harrow Chassis Blueprint" while running any fissure mission, his "neuroptics" BP has a chance of being obtained upon hacking all 3 vaults in pago (Kuva Fortress) spy mission, while his "systems" BP has a chance to drop from one of the most disliked and least played modes: defection missions.
Nidus parts will drop from "Salvage" missions on Eris, all from rotation C. Good luck with that.
In order to build Dagath, you will need a new resource called "Vainthorn", which can be obtained from dedicated missions in the newly added "Abyssal Zone". Those missions are a slightly modified exterminate against Grineer, and can be accessed through deploying "Abyssal beacons", which are purchasable for 5.000 standing from any of the six relay syndicates (namely: Suda, Steel Meridian, Red Veil, Arbiters, Perrin and New Loka).
Besides being available through bounties and as final reward for the quest, all of Qorvex's BPs are also available for purchase through standings at Bird-3's shop in Sanctum Anatomica.

You know since monkey king is a stone monkey and in the book it said he can't really swim instead he just sinks. So Mk tries to help with this by trying teach him to swim and just gets all kinds of floaties to keep him from sinking (the only thing i could think of is just Wukong with waist and arm floaties and one on his tail for good measure) I just though this was a cute idea for Mk to be the teacher for once.😁
THAT’S ACTUALLY SO FUNNY SKLMDFAE;WF It would take so many floaty things to keep him from sinking cause he’s a literally stone monkey and now i’m just thinking Wukong decked out in flotation devices ;LSKDMFOQWEIFMD

asking the REAL framefucker questions
i've kinda had the "warframe insides glow" headcanon just subconsciously there but this makes me remember that the wf sfm artists just like to model warframes with Glussy (glow pussy) and i think i've seen one or two sfm models with Glipples
also on the dicks i assume frames have like a sheath (maybe that's what the codpieces do? or it just opens up like some kind of weird alien flower). maybe the buttholes have some kind of cover usually for. reasons
as for the monky ass question i feel it just sounds something in-character for sun "it's a lovely day in the heavens and u are a horrible monkey" wukong
i cant think of anything to answer the milk question lmao

one day i’ll make a funny ref for my oppy ocs but just know
nitzan: the Main Boy! my first wf oc, the most developed, at this point i’ve written a small novel’s worth of... fic... for him.
main frames: valkyr “set”, loki, umbra
valkyr is the only “named” frame he has bc umbra already has a name and loki is a hollow frame, aka created/nurtured in helminth and only alive enough for transference.
abducted martian child, target yuvan; impressed “his” orokin and she adopted him instead, forcing him to become her child until he was irreversibly scarred in the zariman 10-0 disaster and slaughtered her and her husband... not entirely out of self-defense.
steel meridian ho.
only one lich that he created accidentally and converted unintentionally by having void chronic illness, teluum makto. they still try to kill each other but makto will sometimes show up to pull nitzan from the fire, and nobody except them understands their dynamic. or how surprisingly stable it is.
shishi: 1980′s Jackie Chan, an index ho. thrives in a bloodsport, but likes to be rewarded for his efforts, so rathuum is out.
main frames: wukong, equinox
shishi doesn’t care much for umbral frames. he’ll keep his hollow frames, thank you very much.
earth colonist from a merchant caste before it all went to shit.
surprisingly not as traumatized as one would expect.
flirts with the corpus brokers but nobody knows if he’s serious; for all intents and purposes, he just appears to love the fight, and the only thing he loves more than pushing is when someone pushes back.
has never had a lich. doesn’t really mess with grineer... has found his niche in bashing the corpus, and is good at it.
lycaste:
main frames: chroma, excalibur
chroma is... chroma. lycaste understands him, and chroma understands lycaste, and they’re a good pair.
the dragon of the plains
eidolon hunter!
has had many liches. has ruthlessly slaughtered them all. epitome of a big game hunter who likes the “culling” part of maintaining balance a little too much. once asked nitzan to “handle” one of his liches while he went to the void and nitzan got his ass whooped up and down the system until lycaste came back to bring things under control.

adam is a racist he hates humanity and is a faunus supremacist so of course he would hate a faunus and human working together ( as friends ) heck I believed that sun and neptune would be involved in his defeat (a reference to sun wukong vs bull demon king)and it would have been fitting for a faunus who saw the WF as a cult take down adam with his human friend
Apologies for a very late answer to this anon-chan. Well…technically isn’t this not what they ended up doing in the canon with Yang and Blake? Technically didn't they fulfil what you wanted to see by having Blake defeat Adam with the aid of Yang who is a non-Faunus?
Don’t get me wrong, I would’ve liked to have seen Sun actually fight Adam but as we saw in the show, it wasn’t Sun’s place to be the one to fight by Blake’s side and put an end to Adam. That role went to Yang considering her own personal beef with the bull Faunus for what he did to her back during the Fall of Beacon.
Besides I don’t think it would’ve been fitting to have Sun and Neptune be involved with Adam’s final fight since, technically, they aren’t the Faunus and human who had a score to settle with Adam. Blake and Yang were. I mean as much as I would’ve liked to have seen Sun fight Adam especially besides Neptune and during the Battle of Haven, essentially it just wasn’t their fight. It was the Bees.

RWBY and Masculinity
I love RT’s, and specifically RWBY’s take on masculinity so much. The show subverts all expectations wrt their male characters and their development, which is why the male viewers experience major cognitive dissonance between what they expect and what story is actually being told (and then have the gall to call it bad writing). Under cut because this has gotten so long so fast.
The two main male characters - Sun and Jaune - are subvertions of genre/medium staples.
Jaune specifically hits all the beats of the typical male self-insert in a harem anime: he’s catapulted into a world he knows nothing of, instantly establishes 3 different dynamics with 3 different female characters/archetypes - Cheery, Ice Princess and Hot Tall and Earnest - one of whom he immediately sets his eyes on, he’s surrounded by women that are a whole lot more powerful than he is (and arguably THE most powerful one is instantly drawn to him), he’s essentially powerless and dealing with self-esteem issues and is nondescript enough to be a vehicle for any male viewer to project themselves onto. Which is why you have a good chunk of Jaune’s fandom from V1 being the embodiment of the Venn diagram intersection bewteen weebs and incels like That, and why there’s so much harem fanfic revolving around Jaune.
CRWBY have heavily drawn from anime when making rwby so I don’t think this was coincidental; they laid out the groundworks to subvert a specific trope. Male fans, however, bought into the facade and kept waiting for Jaune to essentially steal the spotlight, be the focal point of several love interests and get a power up that’ll let him be their own power fantasy to boot, but CRWBY took his character in the very opposite direction.
Jaune makes a lot of mistakes but what defines him is how earnestly he learns from them and redeems himself. He apologizes for lashing out at Pyrrha as a result of his own feelings of inadequacy and powerlessness when bullied by Cardin and then accepts her offer to teach him, sincerely taking instruction from her and then taking inspiration from her strength. Once he realizes his seduction skit with Weiss is not only ridiculous but wrong, he instantly changes his approach and prioritizes Weiss’s wants and needs over his, giving her space and knocking sense into Neptune so that Weiss can have her “ideal” date. Jaune doesn’t get embittered about being essentially rejected and most importantly he doesn’t let it affect his relationship with Weiss. Both of them become actual friends from that point on, and we get to see Jaune develop a certain measure of emotional intelligence starting that moment, which becomes part of his skillset and is shown to be part of what makes him a good leader. One of the best examples is how he and Ruby team up in V6E1 to get the hunter on the train to turn the turrets off. Jaune heals the hunter’s wounded arm and gently assuages his fear, in clear contrast with Qrow abrasively manhalding an injured and panicked man and expecting him to comply. The writing essentially puts down the show of arms and props up Ruby and Jaune’s approach; Jaune specifically is the example of masculine leadership the writing looks favorably on.
And that’s the kicker here: Jaune’s strength comes from his set of soft skills as opposed to traditionally portrayed masculine strength, which usually careens into toxic power fantasy land. His whole arc in V1-3 is about learning to shed any distorted notions of chivalry and strength and knowing that his end goal shouldn’t be to become a hero for the sake of it or to live up to societal expectations, but to do what he can and as good as he can for the sake of everyone. Jaune is a good strategist and he knows how to make the best out of everyone’s powers. He’s there to enhance how people use their semblances together. His big power-up, his semblance reveal is basically him getting confirmed for a cross between a cleric and a paladdin (DnD players amongst us please correct me if I’m wrong): he is the ultimate support, acting as a healer and an amplifier to everyone around him, and that’s why he’s a good leader. His power on his own loses its entire meaning: Jaune takes strength from the people he loves and endlessly, earnestly gives back to them, never once stealing the spotlight in combat because that’s not his role and that’s okay.
And as for Jaune’s romantic prospects, think Forever Fall established once and for all that Jaune’s already found the One and I don’t think we’ll see him get any other love interest, especially now that arkos parallels oz/salem and with how vehement CRWBY are about lancaster being platonic.
Now Sun. I want to tackle a specific expectation I’ve seen from male fans and that’s about him becoming more significant to the plot by coleading/leading the new White Fang movement...which would be hijacking Blake’s storyline. Blake is the one with drive and a cause, she was literally born inside the movement and has since seen it get derailed AND was the one to reclaim it from Adam and give it a new vision, as opposed to Sun who apparently wasn’t even aware of the systematic oppression Faunus had to deal with on a daily basis outside of Vacuo. So why is Sun, who has exactly 0 qualifications for this job and no interest in it, still expected to get it by a good chunk of his fans? Aside from the pervasive misogyny permeating fandom culture, there’s a specific trope media has served to us for decades now and that’s of a Semi-Competent Male Hero with his Hyper-Competent Female Side-kick (Vox published an article about it a few years ago and I really recommend checking it out), where a male character who’s semi good at best and not nearly as well-versed into whatever field he shares with his infinitely more competent female sidekick somehow walks in and saves the day and most of the time the female sidekick also, unsurprisingly doubles as a love interest. Time and again, male characters get rewarded for being half as good as their female counterpart at best AND they get the girl most often than not.
But Sun’s whole character is, again, the very opposite of this. Sun never outweighs Blake on her own narrative (as is literal common sense) and shouldn’t be expected to. Sun actually gets schooled into the Faunus cause by his more competent female counterpart, Blake acting as his mentor and introducing him to the fight and why it matters. Blake and Sun basically reenact the plotline of Journey to the West (Sun quite literally references it by calling it a “Journey to the East”) a story whose main character is the legendary monkey king Sun Wukong, who’s the mythical figure Sun’s based on. Sun’s arc about finally knowing the cause and fighting for the right reasons happens thanks to Blake’s guidance - which Sun earnestly complies with and never questions because he knows she’s the expert and he doesn’t usurp that spot from her - and never overshadows her own narrative. Quite the opposite, it builds up to her own arc as a future leading figure of the WF and face of the Faunus cause by having her politicize someone who has no real stakes in this fight even though they should have.
And then even his endeavor with Blake as a love interest falls through, with their relationship getting entirely recontextualized in V4-5 where their dynamic gets rebuilt as a friendship. Incidentally, that’s when it finally starts actually developing, instead of being stuck in the V1-3 limbo of mutual fleeting attraction where they’re constantly missing each other’s cues because they literally do not understand each other on a fundamental level. V4-5 is when Blake understands Sun isn’t what she needs in a romantic partner, but she does need him as a friend and ally. And Sun, whose premise falls in line with the Nice Guy trope, actually subverts it: he never makes Blake’s emotional journey about him, never expects anything in return and gracefully bows out of the narrative (for the time being) without ever pressuring Blake into acknowledging or returning his feelings. He doesn’t agonize over the initial attraction not going anywhere and doesn’t expect to be rewarded for being a decent person; again Blake’s feelings and well-being are his priority because that’s what good friends do. Their relationship developing into a steady friendship is never a point of conflict between them, and it’s actually lived as a positive event for both.
And then, to top it off, CRWBY parsed together every bit of toxic masculinity and wrapped it into a power fantasy package and named the end result Adam Taurus, who’s the absolute worst abusive piece of shit. Adam is every single thing bad about men as a power structure: abrasive, entitled, controlling, takes violence as an indication of power and doesn’t take kindly to his leadership/vision being questionned. It’s not really coincidental that he steals the power seat from a woman and acts like he deserves it in any way. But male fans were so starved for their power fantasy fix and traditionally masculine cool calm collected and complicated male character that they were ready to minimize/outright ignore the abuse he’s put Blake through and just how awful a human being he was just to be able to hard project onto him. And CRWBY’s answer to that is basically this:
Tumblr media
TL;DR: RT says if your masculinity isn’t humble, nurturing, supportive, compassionate, selfless and earnest then we don’t want it.
