Omfg they’re so cute and have great chemistry. I’ve seen a lot of people say they think Jordan shifted to male form bc maybe that’s what Jordan assumed Marie would prefer/only kiss, which could be true and maybe it is one of Jordan’s insecurities that they should conform to heteronormativity when it comes to romance/intimacy (hence female form w the phaser dude). But I think it was mainly force of habit for Jordan bc when they fight, they shift to male form when an attack is coming due to their invulnerability power and then can shift back and forth throughout the fight. I feel like when it comes to other forms of vulnerability, Jordan may shift to male form as a defense mechanism in case they get rejected by Marie, etc.

Side note: at first I was a little annoyed that the writers had Jordan shift right before kissing Marie, but I think it was a good way of showing Jordan and Marie’s chemistry in both forms (female form starting to go in for the kiss) and that Marie likes Jordan for Jordan and likes them in any physical form.

Saw this TikTok about how in the olden days people could be saved from the gallows if someone married them and Zosanzo brain immediately fired up

Scénario 1 has noble Sanji desperate to escape an arranged marriage to Pudding, being dragged along to a public execution (his dad and siblings always seem to enjoy them a lot) and, when seeing how young and dashing the man walking to the execution block/noose/guillotine is, remembers this law (it’s droningly mumbled by the guy reading out from a scroll- everyone usually just tunes out the whole thing) and Sanji dramatically calls out that he’ll marry this man, to the shock of everyone in attendance. At least this way he kind of had a choice and he’s helping someone, he figures.

(Alternatively he came to that execution with the « I’m marrying the next person walking up » mentality)

Scénario 2 could have Sanji on death row- either as a now poor, escaped man who found Zeff as an adoptive father or as a noble who openly betrayed his family and is being punished for it. Either way Zoro, the town’s wealthy wine merchant’s son, could either fall in love at first sight or have been pining for Sanji all along and is now in a moral conundrum because of course he wants to save his life but he feels bad for « trapping » him in a marriage

So quick question. How does everyone see the ghouls as being hell beasts? I personally think they’re one of the lowest on the totem pole in the pits of hell. That’s why the clergy summons them, It means they’re easier to control. They don’t want to be sent back. And when one does get sent back the rest hide throughout the abbey. Just a thought. I wonder what it is He Tian promised in exchange for He Cheng to help him. If he promised to leave his school like He Cheng wanted, that would explain why Mo Guanshan is so callous towards He Tian again when they’re all in college; he would feel terrible that He Tian had to go away just to help Mo Guanshan get rid of someone who should have been his problem only. That guilt and powerlessness would translate into Mo Guanshan’s usual habit of pushing people away and trying to be hyper independent as to not involve other people in his mess.
