Hcs for a Tav who grew up being starved/neglected. Maybe their parents were poor or they were an orphan on the street. They don’t hoarde too much food but they don’t eat in front of others. And rarely take enough. And they refuse to shower near the others or camp super close to them. They’re almost always on alert and are really bad at self care. They’re always dirty, hair a mess. They kind of smell. And they are also ashamed of the fact no one taught them how to take care of themselves???

For Astarion, Gale, Halsin, and Wyll? ^_^

A/N: Oh Nonnie, I feel this! I was a child of divorce and at one house we were very disciplined and had routines for self-care and homework and everything. But the other house was chaotic and full of resentment and neglect. It’s so odd how something 20+ years ago can still affect you today, but it absolutely can. 💚

For some resources on having to figure things out as an adult, may I recommend the “How Do I Dad?” YouTube Channel and the r/InternetParents subreddit? Those are the two I like the best atm. Also remember, Google is your friend. Whenever I want a real person to answer, I usually type in my question with a plus sign then Reddit (+reddit) which will pull up real user’s threads from Reddit about the subjects you’re Googling. It’s one of the last platforms I think is usable in that way. So that's why I do that. Then again, I’m old and might just miss the old ppl’s Internet.

🧼️ HCs for Neglected!(GN)Tav With Astarion, Halsin, & Wyll 🛁

Astarion:

Okay, he’s kinda a dick about it at first. He doesn’t mean to be. Well, I mean, yes he meant to make those petty comments, but he wouldn’t have made them if he knew about Tav’s past circumstances. Once Tav lets it slip they’re bad at self-care because no one ever taught them, Astarion immediately feels a sense of kinship.

He was a magistrate before Cazador captured and turned him, and he considered himself to be a man of some luxury, but after being taken that all changed. He lived in filth, he was fed filth, by the hells, Cazador saw him as filth. He knows what it feels like to be seen as worthless and to have to survive in meager conditions. He wants Tav to understand none of it is their fault. They had no control over their circumstances. He tells Tav to never apologize for the way they had to live in order to survive.

The first thing he offers to help Tav with is bathing and dressing. When Cazador let him out to lure victims, Astarion perfected disguising his undead scent over the decades. Part of it was using oils and perfumes, and another part was choosing the right attire. He’ll find the right kind of soap and cleansing oils for Tav's skin and hair type, insisting they get only the best the markets of Baldur’s Gate have to offer. If Tav can’t afford it, who cares? He’ll just sneak around the merchant and steal it while Tav distracts them. Or Lazel, if Tav refuses to do something so morally questionable.

He doesn’t really pick up on Tav’s refusal to eat with the others, mainly because Astarion also doesn’t eat with the others. But if Tav requests, Astarion will gladly sit and gossip with Tav as they eat their meal, away from everyone else.

Astarion might suggest the party visit an inn or a bar one night, and encourage Tav, in his way, to let their guard down and eat around the others. He wants Tav to practice consuming food in the presence of their other friends. Astarion believes it’ll do two things: 1) It’ll prove to Tav, that it’s safe to eat in their company and 2) It’ll reinforce what Astarion’s been saying to them, that there’s nothing wrong with the way they eat. Even if they scarf their food down or eat with their hands or burp extra loud- who cares? Karlach practically inhales three portions in a single bite. Gale won’t shut up while he eats, so he’s always talking with his mouth full. And Shadowheart takes the tiniest bites imaginable, meaning she takes fricken forever to finish a single plate. Everyone has their own style, and Tav’s is nothing to be ashamed of.

If Tav and Astarion are especially close or if they’re dating, Astarion will even offer to help Tav wash up. Not because he wants to see them naked, or to have sex, but because he really wants to shower them in affection. He’ll gently massage their shoulders as he works the cleansing oils into them. He’ll help them balance, bending backward as he washes their hair, gently using the very tips of his sharp nails to scratch their scalps. It feels heavenly, and it’s a great intimate, non-sexual way for the two of them to grow closer.

It may be true no one was there to take care of either Astarion or Tav in the years past. But now that they’re together, the two of them can take care of each other.

Halsin:

Halsin prefers to live amongst nature as opposed to city dwellings, so he’s more accustomed to roughing it than the others may be. That being said, he’s not unclean, or unkempt- he keeps himself very well groomed (as one must do when they tend to ask to bed anyone and everyone they come into contact with for more than five seconds). He assumes Tav is just more accustomed to frequent bathing at first. Not everyone is as fortunate as he is. But he begins to suspect something the more the days go on, and Tav’s appearance and demeanor don’t change.

He’ll try casually inviting Tav to come bathe with him. He knows the perfect spot just beyond the Grove, that’s secluded but not too small, that would well accommodate both of their bodies. He suggests this regardless of whether he and Tav are dating or not. If Tav is hesitant, he apologizes for being forward and kindly explains he just wanted to present Tav with the opportunity to take some time for themselves. When Tav breaks down in front of him, explaining why they’re so upset about the idea of grooming and self-care, Halsin is immediately sympathetic. He listens intently as Tav gets their fears off their chest.

Once Halsin understands Tav’s situation, he��ll take them into his tent, and show Tav his collection of soaps and brushes and oils. Halsin explains how he prefers to use each one, before gifting them to Tav to keep for themselves. When Tav protests that it’s too much, Halsin puts a hand up to stop them. He can always buy new items. Besides, he’s learned how to make the most of what only Mother Nature has to offer. He can manage without fancy cleansers and bristles for a time. Tav deserves them more.

Halsin might even offer Tav some clothes if he has any that wouldn’t be too difficult to tuck or take in, as he’s a very tall man. With Tav’s permission, he might even ask Shadowheart Lazel or even Astarion if they have something they could spare for the time being, if Tav is too embarrassed or shy to ask for themselves.

He offers to keep watch and guard Tav as they bathe, promising not to look unless Tav asks them to. If the two are dating, Halsin will assist them, helping Tav scrub down, and removing all the dirt, grime, and dead skin before washing them in the water. If the two are only friends, Halsin keeps his promise of not looking at Tav until they are dressed again. He’ll help detangle and braid Tav’s hair, taking care not to pull too hard on any knots. The whole ordeal leaves Tav feeling rather pampered.

As far as eating goes, Halsin will always offer to share any meal he catches while the party is camping together, which is how Halsin notices Tav’s different eating habits. Halsin swears that as long as he is well and able to hunt and gather food, Tav will never go hungry in his presence. Halsin assures Tav that it’s okay to eat full, rather than stockpile most of their meals for later. It’s much more important to eat for energy now, rather than wait to eat later. It keeps one’s energy levels stable and helps to reduce any unintentional food waste as things tend to spoil sooner rather than later.

Halsin takes it upon himself to become a provider of sorts for Tav, the one Tav never had. He plans to lavish Tav with so much attention and care, that those wounds caused by years of abandonment and neglect have no choice but to close.

Wyll:

Wyll is a bit awkward about it in the beginning. Not because he intends to be rude, but because he’s unsure of how to approach the subject with Tav without sounding like a snide ass. If it were any other companion, he might have made an offhand comment days ago, but when it comes to their leader, Wyll holds much more admiration and respect. So, Wyll holds his tongue until things become a bit more apparent, and he believes he knows the most sensitive way to navigate them.

When everyone sits down to eat, Wyll asks Tav if they’d like to join them. He does this every evening, hoping Tav will eventually say yes. If Tav still doesn’t bite, he’ll come to them, and ask if he could sit next to Tav as they eat. Wyll makes a casual conversation between bites, trying to bring Tav out of their shell. If there's still no change, Wyll opens up about being on his own, having been kicked out of his home as a young man. He reveals how for the first few years he was often hungry, tired, and cold- being forced to move around from place to place outside of Baldur’s Gate without the proper supplies to fend for himself or keep himself dry. This prompts Tav to open up a bit about their past- how they also had to survive on their own, and now, as an adult, they don’t know how to do anything other than ‘survive’.

Wyll is, of course, empathetic. Tav may not have come from a noble background like Wyll did, but that’s no excuse for all Tav had to endure, especially as a child. Wyll tells them he’s sorry Tav had to live through all that, and makes it very clear that it was in no way, Tav’s fault. They were just a kid, they should have been protected. There’s nothing to feel ashamed about. They didn’t fail, other people failed them.

Wyll had to learn how to do many things on his own, and he thinks it would be best for him to share all he’s learned. One night he sits with Tav at dinner, encouraging Tav to eat, as Wyll tells them how he learned where to stay, how to get work, when to leave, and where to train.

Together, Wyll and Tav come up with a list of items Tav most likely needs for self-care. All the while Wyll does his best to ensure Tav doesn’t feel judged for lacking such things. Again, Wyll reminds them, it’s not their fault. And there’s never any time to start like the present. If they’re close enough to a market, Wyll will take them there, and help Tav purchase everything they need. However, if they’re somewhere without vendors, say the Underdark or the Shadowlands, Wyll will approach a party member for assistance.

Out of all of the companions, Wyll asks Astarion if he has any extra cleansing soaps or oils because Wyll knows Astarion’s the most high-maintenance party member amongst them lol. Once Wyll secures those items, he gifts them to Tav, and lets them know he’d be happy to stand guard while they bathe. Wyll plants himself midway between the camp and the river, giving Tav ample space. Wyll would feel being too close to them, in this manner, at this point, even if he and Tav were in a relationship, would be inappropriate.

Once Tav is bathed and dressed, Wyll escorts them back to the fire. As Tav’s hair dries, Wyll regales them with much more upbeat stories, tales of his times as the Blade of Frontiers. His battles and triumphs, his rescues and saves- all of that. He wants Tav to know he has their back. Wyll is capable of protecting Tav, and he intends to do it in a way where Tav never has to feel abandoned or forgotten again.

scrolling on tiktok with kie sitting next to you, you came across a video of a girl putting makeup on her best friends face. you let out a small giggle at the thought of your boyfriend with mascara and pretty pink lips.

“what’s funny?” kie asked turning to peek at your phone.

you showed her the video and got up to go find your beloved boyfriend, who coincidentally, had just walked into the room.

“jj, can you help me with something?” you looked at him with pouty lips and sparkles in your eyes only he could see

he lifted a brow and grinned as he looked at you, knowing you were up to something, “it depends on what that something is, baby,”

kie let out a quiet laugh from behind you as she threw your phone towards him, letting him watch the video you previously showed her. knowing you’d be able to convince him happy or not, you started searching through the drawers of your vanity in hopes of having your makeup bag in one of them.

“no way,” jj scoffed with a shake of his head, “you’re not putting makeup on me.”

giving a knowing look to kie, she walked out and closed the door behind her.

this is where the fun began.

after 10 minutes of begging, smacking, pecks to the cheek and tugging, you finally managed to convince your lover to let you do his pretty boy makeup.

you sat on the counter of your bathroom sink with jj standing in between your thighs with his eyes looking straight at you.

“don’t give me that look” he said with a quick eye roll

you smiled as you uncapped the ‘better than sex’ mascara in your hands, “roll your eyes and i’ll poke your eye out with my wand.”

“wand? what are you a witch?” he replied with a soft grin. you lifted his chin and softly ran the inked bristles across his long lashes. god those lashes of his you wish you had. why were men blessed with female preferred features?

“i am, i casted a love spell on you a couple years ago,” you laughed and scolded him for blinking shortly after.

he stared at you in silence, admiring your pretty eyes that tend to crinkle when you smile. the soft lips he kissed every morning he woke up next to you. your perfect nose that just seemed to fit your face structure perfectly. everything about you he fell in love with more by the second, minute, hour, and day.

jj was never good at english class, but ask him to write an essay about you and you’d get a 20 page google document.

getting sucked out of his thoughts as you painted his thin lips a soft shade of pink, “what’s on your mind, j?”

“nothing, just how powerful your spell is on me. did you go to hogwarts, baby?” he questioned with a smile, pushing the strands of hair that covered your pretty face behind your ear.

“fuck yeah, i was fighting dementors and shit” you answered while filling in his eyebrows and putting highlighter in the corners of his eyes.

you finished after another couple of minutes and while pulling out your phone to find the audio you were going to use, jj spoke up with a concerned tone in his voice,

“are you actually going to record me in this?!”

looking up from your phone to look at him you saw his filled in eyebrows furrowed, “duh, that’s the point of the trend, j” you stated.

you weren’t going to let his worried expression get to you because you knew you’d be able to kiss it away in a couple minutes.

he let out a whine in protest but you had already started the video, doing your part, you lip-synced

“do you or do you not feel bonita?”

and with a turn of the phone, the camera faced him and he slightly panicked not knowing what to say.

“you didn’t tell me what i’m supposed to say!”

your lips shaped into an ‘o’ and proceeded to explain how to do the tiktok.

once again, with the flip of the camera jj awkwardly worded his part

“...uhm i feel bonita”

“wonderful, because you look bonita!” you grinned and went back to your phone to caption and post the video

jj pushed your phone aside and placed his lips on yours, in desperate need of affection. you let out a quiet gasp as you were caught off guard but kissed him back anyways.

he placed his hands on your cheeks and pulled away slowly. “do my lips feel prettier?”

you snorted, tilting your head in confusion

“y’know, because they look prettier, do they feel prettier?” he asked again, trying to explain his question

you placed another kiss on his lips and nodded, “yes they feel prettier, baby”

he picked you up, wrapping your legs around his waist as he peppered your face with kisses, leaving pretty pink marks on your glowing skin.

he smiled, pleased with the outcome of his make over.

Aemond was a gentleman - he always made sure that he was paying you his full attention. "Do you want to go shopping?" he asked, pointing at the shop in front of him. It was a small boutique - popular only to those that could afford the pieces inside. "Yes," you smiled, pulling him closer inside the building.

He didn't need to tell you twice.

"What are your parents like? Are they uptight or cool?" you inquired, dismissing the sales associate that wanted to help you. He took a deep breath - trying to find words that could explain his parents. "My dad is old, he's traditional in a sense - but my mom is trendy. She'll warm up to you." he smiled, watching as your eyebrows bumped into each other. Traditional and modest attire it is then.

There was a vintage white dress on the rack, you've seen it in one of the vogue covers from a few decades ago. It was an iconic piece, but not famous enough that it would seem tacky. His hands snake around your waist, "What?" you ask and he nudges your body slowly, pointing at the paparazzi that were standing outside of the door.

"Kiss me," he demanded, pulling your body closer - until you could smell his perfume. "You're demanding, you know that?" you tease, reaching to cup his cheeks. The paparazzi's outside of the window were having a seizure - making sure to take a picture of every moment. "- but you like that." he paused, pressing your lips together.

He tasted like black coffee and cherries. It was intoxicating - a taste that was new to your tongue. You couldn't help but let a moan seep through - he smirks through the kiss before letting you go. He pretends to be shocked that the paparazzi were outside. "Let's go," he mouthed, pulling you into a deeper part of the store where the 'media' couldn't see.

His fingers comb through your hair, untangling the knots that your hairbrush couldn't fix. "My older sister." he answered - staring deep into your features. He couldn't deny that you were beautiful, and that your personality stirred something inside of him - but you were just a summer thing, right? Something that would allow him to inherit all of his father's fortune.

"I know nothing about your family to be honest. Google didn't have anything other than your dating history and zodiac sign." you state, wanting him to talk about his family more. It was interesting to see a stoic and conniving man smile when he spoke about family. "- what's my zodiac sign?" he questioned, not knowing the answer.

"Gemini," you answer immediately. "- and you used to date Lindsay Lohan." you add with a smile. He was older than he looked. He places a strand of your hair away from your face. "Stalker," he mumbled - and you sat up straight, glaring at him playfully. You were about to tickle him, but your phone rings. 'Jacaerys' it read out, and you placed your phone in your pocket.

"We should hard-launch each other," you suggest and he raised his eyebrows. "What's that?" he inquired - unfamiliar with the word. "Posting each other on social media." you replied and he nods.

It would work perfectly with his plan.

Lucerys stuffed a large piece of vanilla ice cream on his mouth. "(Your Name) is dating our uncle, how do you feel about that?" he teased, moving his body away so that Jace couldn't do anything to him. "I don't care," Jace huffed, reaching for a spoon to take a piece off his brother's ice cream. "He doesn't care but he's turning red." Joffrey piped, giggling loudly while eating his strawberry ice cream.

"I wonder if he'll take her to the reunion." Joffrey adds, and a sigh escapes from Jace's mouth. 'Give you my wild, give you a child.' turned to dust - and never to return. He knew that it was not his fault - your personalities just managed to clash with each other.

You were the kind to fight for something - to beg for him to fight for the relationship. He was the opposite of that.

If it was meant to be - then you wouldn't need to fight for it.

Lando having girlfriend that’s super smart? It would be hilarious. At first when he talks about it everyone is like 👍 amazing but we know that almost anyone can be genius compared to you. But then they’re doing some sort of challenge (can be with Quadrant or with drivers or whatever) and there’s some algebra thrown in there and Lando’s girl just does it in like a minute. That’s something. Then they meet at Lando’s or he’s streaming and she’s studying in the background and everyone is so confused because what the hell does she do there??? Is it chemistry or maths or physics or what. She tells them about it and they are lost after “oh I can explain it to you guys” the rest is gibberish in their ears. Then she’s citing Shakespeare or Bulgakov and everyone believes Lando. But there’s more important question to ask that bothers them “how did he pull her and did she fall on her head really hard when she agreed on dating?”

this is so cute i love them being like “lando thinks she’s smart so she’s probably just better at making choices than he is” and instead it’s “she’s getting two degrees at once and still coming to visit lando at races when she has time.”

a challenge would be so funny like imagine just a trivia game and she answers every single question. they have to ring a bell to answer and she’d be ringing before they’re done asking the question. everyone is confused why she knows so much about everything and she’s just like “wdym? you don’t know the exact date this obscure historical thing happened?”

imagine max and oscar coming over to hang and she’s studying so they’re trying to help her by reading flashcards but they can’t pronounce the big technical words. she’d be answering the questions while they’re still trying to pronounce the name of some chemical. or she like finishes the question with perfect pronunciation and gives the right answer, another word they can’t pronounce, and they’re so amazed.

she turns into the grids personal google when they realize she knows a little bit about everything, like someone offhand asks something stupid and everyone is making fun of him and she’s like “no actually thats a great question! i think about it all the time and the answer is-” and everyone shuts up and listens bc she articulates everything so well and can take a complex topic and simplify it for them. she’ll bring race logic in sometimes when explaining stuff. anytime someone has a question they’re finding her to ask bc google will give a complex answer and she’ll dumb it down. she’s the settler of many debates and arguments bc they think she’s the smartest.

she’s sitting at the pit walls during races and is practically an engineer just from absorbing all the info while she watches them work. maybe shes in school to be an engineer or mechanic but when lando told them she’s still in school he didn’t say what for and they think like lando would be dating a nurse or something like that bc it seems his type. then they meet her at a race, they see her in the mclaren garage and she’s in mclaren gear talking ab the car with them so they think she’s a mclaren employee and some of the guys would probably be texting each other like “hey there’s a new cute mclaren engineer have you seen her??” until lando introduces her as his girlfriend and ppl are like wait she doesn’t work for mclaren? how does she know so much ab the car? and lando’s just annoyed bc no one believed him that his girlfriend was a genius.

she’d be besties w the mechanics and engineers and they help her study bc they understand her coursework. sometimes she’ll know what’s wrong with lando’s car but not say anything bc she’s not qualified for it and doesn’t work for them so they wouldn’t listen to her if she did so she sits quietly while they try and figure it out. eventually they get it and lando would have noticed the way she went quiet and just watched and know she’s thinking about how to fix his car and he’s just like “wow my girlfriend is so smart i love her so much.” her getting hired after graduating and working on lando’s team. iconic.

no one gets how they started dating or even met until they all go to a club after a race and after a single shot she loses any and all brain cells she ever had. everyone realizes they must have met at a club bc there’s no other way the super genius and lando could have ever met that would make sense.

ooo i wanna hear abt your declan x mike!!

mike and declan met briefly at tillman's funeral. they were both kind of aware of the other, but never met. for declan, all of the funeral and grieving process is a blur, and she doesn't really remember it. so she is very surprised when she and some firefighters stop by a coffee shop/bakery and mike's at register and he's like "hey declan!!" and declan just plays along like "haha yeah hi mike." because it would be rude to say "how do i know you??" the minute they are done ordering and step away, the other firefighters are like "YOU KNOW MIKE TOWNSEND??" and declan's like "APPARENTLY??" also, she's kind of transitioned from male to female between then and now so like???

mike writes his number on declan's receipt and everyone else is being INSUFFERABLE about it. and declan's like, "if i don't text him i have to explain that to both him AND my teammates" so later that evening she texts him.

they get along well, but mike will occasionally reference a conversation they had in the past and declan just has to pretend to know what he's talking about.

one evening, declan gets caught out in the rain trying to walk back to the hotel. she can't see her phone screen b/c it's pouring so she can't use google maps or whatever. and she can't read the street signs well. so eventually she just ducks under the awning of the bakery and texts mike, "hey, do you know how to get to [hotel] from the bakery?" and he reads it but doesn't respond. two minutes later, the lights inside the bakery turn on and declan turns around to see mike unlocking the door. which is absolutely mortifying, because now he gets to see her look like a wet cat that didn't want a bath.

mike takes declan up to his apartment (above the bakery) and helps her dry off. she keeps thanking him and saying "you don't have to do this," and mike's like "no it's fine, i'm just returning the favor :)" and declan breaks down and tells him she absolutely does not remember him and does not know what he is talking about ever. and mike has to take twenty minutes to laugh before he can respond.

basically: declan helped him thru the service because mike could NOT hear what anyone was saying (he's deaf, and although he has a hearing aid & can mostly read lips, ppl at funerals love love love to talk SOOO quietly). so in mike's mind, he's basically indebted to her. for some reason, declan never realized that he was like, THE mike townsend, and not just some guy named mike that knew tillman somehow.

so anyway. they stay up late swapping dumb tillman stories & playing games. declan shows him how to play splatoon. declan just spends the night there because flash floods r dangerous and wakes up to 199953838572 texts from the firefighters asking "WHERE ARE YOU???" so now she has to tell them, individually, several times, that she's fine and also slept at mike townsend's apartment in a completely platonic manner.

mike & declan both kind of fall for each other over time, but both of them would rather wallow than confess feelings so they just don't do anything about it until tillman comes back and is like "awesome. polycule time."

ALSO mike townsend teaches her ASL, and they use that as the primary form of communication after she gets somewhat fluent.

i screen shot your ask just bc it was super long and i wanted it to be a bit easier for ppl to read your ask and then my response, so i hope you don't mind !

as for your opinion about the last video being somewhat scripted…. i don't really agree. but let me explain. first and foremost, there is too much riding on snc constantly telling the truth. if they were ever caught lying or faking evidence, they would lose their career. obviously there would be fans that stick by their side no matter what, but a lot of the fanbase would dip out if they thought snc were truly faking shit. and it would call into question every single investigation. so unless you believe that they also scripted/faked other videos, i don't think they would start now. and especially not at some random location most ppl have never heard of/isn't as popular as some of the other places they go to.

tbh, i think this was just a severe lack in research. snc aren't exactly known for doing the most thorough research on these places. prime example being the winchester house. it took until their third visit to finally find out that sarah winchester wasn't a crazy lady building room after room like a sims game. they believed what the caretakers said but also what the legend or folklore was, bc that's a lot more interesting than the real story. so, personally, i believe that snc just took the caretaker's word for this place and did no research after it. last time snc talked about having a team, they said they had one person that would help them with research, and with the amount of places snc go to, it might be easy for that one person to get a little lazy at times (or possibly they might not even have a person anymore since they haven't mentioned a researcher in a long time).

now, is it possible that celina knew and then embellished on the story? yeah, i guess so. i don't think that's impossible. but correct me if i'm wrong, bc i don't feel like going back and rewatching the video, but i thought she was saying that ed shot himself thru the top of his head, not the side (like the actual reports say). that way it would look like someone killed him, not that he killed himself. that way the murder could be placed on the doctor - according to celina's theory. i thought that was what she was pointing out in the drawing too. that it was a guy pointing a gun down at his head from the top and blood was running down his face. i might be misremembering so if i am, my apologies.

also if i'm completely honest, and sorry to snc if they ever see this, i don't think they are smart enough to script something like this. and i mean that with respect, even if it doesn't sound like it lol writing out a story that makes cohesive sense is very difficult - take it from the fanfiction writer who also majored in film and theatre in college. and that's a lot more difficult if it's based off a place that has actual evidence that point to the contrary. if snc were the first to go there, and there was little to no reports on what actually happened, they could kinda make shit up and no one would really know. but clearly it's a quick enough google search to know what the reports really said. i think they just took the caretaker's word for it and didn't give it much more thought. i also kinda think they just don't have the time to do it. bc again, this would assumingly not be their first scripted video (bc why start now, especially when you have so much proof that you don't need to script things to be entertaining?) so then that means how far back did they start? and if so, when they were pumping out multiple videos in a month, they were scripting those too? and since they collab with so many ppl, nobody - not a single person - has let it slipped, even on accident, that they script things?? it all relies too heavily on too many ppl keeping their mouths shut and snc don't have enough money to be paying off that many ppl sksksksk

if you really feel like snc did script this video, that's fine. you're allowed to think that. i don't personally believe they did. i think they just didn't research this place enough bc it wouldn't be the first time they got information wrong.

also i did the quickest and laziest of research aka i just googled the mansion, and the wikipedia page even says allegedly committed suicide so….. it might be possible that snc were trying to figure out did he actually do it or was he killed and then they just worded everything incorrectly. this also doesn't explain how celina knew if assumingly she didn't google anything beforehand. idk, either way i still don't think they scripted it. but if you disagree, i get why. i just don't think it would make sense for them to do it.

Hello I'm so sorry to randomly put this in your inbox, but I have some real questions that I'm kind of too scared to ask anyone else?

I think I'm... I think I finally admitted that I might be trans? I think? I've been so terrified of calling myself that, especially out loud, because I've been so scared that I'm accidentally being transphobic when I can't even figure out my own identity? I'm AFAB, and I like having a very pretty "girl" body and even adore hyperfeminine "girl" things. Like, I love girly stuff and dressing like a girl? Is it the looking like a girl I like? But like, something has always felt off and like it wasn't quite right to just be a "she"? It's so hard to explain because for years I was just a girl, using feminine pronouns and everything. But as I've gotten older, I found myself using they/them more and more often, but it's actually in the last week or so that I've started using he/him pronouns officially instead of just in my head. And guess what? It felt amazing doing it! But here's my problem: What is it called when you're AFAB, do still really like very feminine things and "looking/acting like a girl", but want to use he/him pronouns? I'm so scared and confused and I feel so ashamed because I'm scared I'm just CIS with extra steps? Like, I see a lot of posts that say a lot of people are just muddying the waters and making things even harder for other transgender people, and I would never want to hurt anybody like that! I've tried Googling my question several times, each a different way because I was worried I wasn't wording it properly? But all the results I get are mixed and I'm confused what they mean. Am I allowed to be a boy that's... like, likes being a "girl", just not called a girl? Or at least isn't called a girl all the time? Just sometimes when I feel like it? Maybe?

I know this is all some really heavy stuff and I'm so sorry for just dropping this on you, but I really need help and I don't know where else to turn. If you're unable to help, do you know some other resources that I might try to look for? I'm sorry. You just seem so confident in yourself and your art has been really helpful, but I wanted to ask because I was hoping that I could maybe just get, like... even a sliver of what might be wrong with me? As dumb as this sounds, I'm scared of just being CIS (Again, I am so sorry for this long post, this text really got away from me)

hey i appreciate you feeling like i was the person to come to w this off the bat and not to fret about the ask at all bc im abt to overexplain myself right back - ive been in this exact same position actually! i had a long struggle moving from being a girl into being where i am now and where i am now is.... who knows! ive been figuring myself out for like. eight years at this point n i expect to keep figuring myself out even longer. the train of thought youre on reminds ne a LOT of how i felt when i started thinking i wasnt cis though so ill just kindve. dump what has helped me? and you can take what you want from it.

point blank anyone who says its possible for other trans ppl or even just ppl exploring their gender to bring harm back into the community are full of shit. they said this when i thought i was a genderfluid demigirl eight yrs ago. theyll keep saying it. it will continue to not be true. ive had friends who explored their gender identities and realized they were cis and if anything its really healthy for them and the community! its not bad to go thru that.

on topic, i could try to point you towards specific labels or communities but trying to get caught up in those can sometimes just confuse or scare you more - again speaking from experience trying to google just what i was and what i was going thru. especially trying to figure everything out at once.

like i label myself as a bi agender bc its EASY n to have a vague thing to tell ppl or put on pride icons but at the end of the day, im just theo. thats my identity n that could be yours too! when i think abt my bf, im a gay man. when im watching crazy girlies on a show, im a girl. when i want to buy nonbinary merch bc nobody makes agender merch, im nonbinary. im just theo no matter what.

you dont sound cis and thats the most important thing to remember. even if you were somehow cis w extra steps bc thats. not a thing. even if you looked n acted n dressed exactly as you did when you viewed yourself before all of this but FELT you werent that presentation, you wouldnt be cis. you could like... be a girl but a bit to the left and youd be trans.

also, perhaps changing the language you think abt yourself with may help you rule out whats going on? instead of seeing things in a v binary girl things vs boy things way? its hard bc like. gender based society but trying to not see dressing a certain way as being feminine/dressing like a girl and certain pronouns being like. boy/masculine pronouns can really help! if you mean you dont want to bind or you like dresses, then you can do those things in a masc or fem or any way u want - its YOU doing it. if you want those things to be girl things bc it helps, then theyre girl things! if seeing them as boy things helps, then they're boy things!

im sorry if i... didnt really answer your question or help ultimately but i just remember how much wanting definite answers didn't really help me at the time so i dont want to say like. oh youre nonbinary! oh youre genderfluid! oh youre a demigirl! oh youre a he/him girl! being trans is so different for everyone n thats ultimately why you may be struggling to find specific answers.

honestly? id keep doing what youre doing and trying different gender affirming things like you are. something will click as you do and youll come to realizations that, in that space, will help you a lot. perhaps itll be something that changes but it will click eventually.

i literally felt like i was transphobic towards trans men for having he/him in my pronouns for YEARS bc i wasnt Being Male Enough to earn them. but i no longer see myself as needing to be masc to prove i deserve to be called a he. to me, thats as genderless as they/them. shits weird n personal n a bit cringe.

nothings wrong w you for not having things figured out either. you will. i promise.

First impression: I’m pretty sure the first time I ever saw anything about Cunoesse it was when YouTube recommended me the clip of when you can shoot her 😭 I didn’t watch it bc I wanted to avoid spoilers but my first thought was like “Cunoesse? 🤨 as in Cuno?” So I googled her and saw she was a ten year old and was like ?!??.!.? WHY DOES SHE GET SHOT? Initially I thought maybe she had something to do with the murder and that shooting her must be some climactic moment bc it sounded so fucked up, only to find out that the scene is an optional one and just 100000% Harry being a pig 💀

Impression now: she is everything to me she is maybe my favorite character in the whole game like you don’t even understand!!! 😭 where did she come from? Why is she alone? Who did she kill? Why did she and Cuno split in the Cuno route? And where can she even go from there if Cuno leaves? She haunts me which I think is the point… she represents nearly everything that we would hope to change via revolution, the kind of person who we’re trying to build a place in this world for… she makes me cry if I think about her too long. Ough. The true girl child revolution of my heart

Favorite moment: her fight with Cuno over locust city broke my heart so bad because I’ve got little siblings too, ik she didn’t mean to hurt him, she’s just a ten year old kid who’s grouchy that Cuno has a hobby that she can’t join in/relate to, but she hits on all his sore spots by acting out over it and he hits hers back and then it ends w that total gutpunch of Cuno saying “Cuno can be whatever he wants. Cuno can even be a pig if he wants!” And Cunoesse saying “don’t be a pig, Cuno… you’d have to take me away…” LIKE!!!! GOD. FUCK. What a moment.

Idea for a story: I keep wanting to write something about C in Martinaise after Cuno leaves for Jamrock, trying to fill the space he left behind until she sort of starts blurring the lines between them and just pretending to be him bc she’d rather be anything but herself… 😔

Unpopular opinion: best character in the game. To me.

Favorite relationship: C and Cuno forever… 😭

Favorite headcanon: her real name is Kielo, which is the Finnish name for may bells/lily of the valley 😔

First impression: immediately loved her so much. I work at a bookstore myself so obviously I was drawn to her and Plaisance right off the bat and ended up spending all of day 1 on bringing Annette out of the cold and then exploring the doomed commercial area instead of investigating the murder LMAO

Impression now: I LOVE HER… she’s a good kid… she gave me a hat!!!!!! 😭 I love that even tho she’s very much trying to be a dutiful and well behaved daughter, you still see her act like a kid and get mischievous with Harry in a way that feels authentic. She’s just so fun and endearing

Favorite moment: all of her interactions are great but I was most taken aback by when she talks to you about Harry during his bender. It’s a sad moment but there’s something sort of touching about that combination of being blunt but also nonjudgmental bc she’s so young. She’s just genuinely glad to see you seem to be doing better ;_;

Idea for a story: I keep thinking it would be fun to write something about Martinaise as seen through Annette’s eyes. All the people who come through the bookstore… maybe focused on Billie in the aftermath of her husband’s death 😔 I also have thought about writing something with post-game Harry getting a job at the bookstore so that Annette doesn’t have to help out as much, tho that’s mostly just bc it would let me write about working at a bookstore lmao

mind you, i haven’t watched a lot, i have just started so i don’t have favourites yet. but i’ll mention the last ones i watched and maybe they seem of interest to you: “american nightmare”, “keep sweet”, and “escaping twin flames”. check out the warnings though, they deal with heavy topics.

i completely understand you bc it’s how i always feel when writing a fic, i want everything to be perfect, but we’re humans and we’re not perfect. the best thing we can do is just enjoy the process. i know you can’t tell me too much 🤭 but ask yourself what are you most excited to write abt and then write it (a first kiss? a conflict? the end?). it may help you to see with clarity where your story is going. like, i stopped working on my wip for several days bc i can’t seem to write any descriptions but yesterday i was like “what if i just write the dialogues and leave the rest for later?” and that’s what i did, so now i’m excited to keep working on the dialogues and i can add the descriptions later, or change them as the story goes idk. and maybe i’m just biased but to me you’re amazing, and i’m sure your story will be too bc you’re the one writing it. <3

as for the “check-in”, i think they just want to make sure that the person is working on the gift bc if i remember correctly, the creation period marks until february 13th which means you have until pretty much the very last minute to finish everything. i’m so nervous abt it bc it seems so close now but i’m sure we both can do it! 😁

seeing louis was everything i needed and more tbh! i feel that’s why i was extra motivated yesterday. just seeing him makes me extremely happy 🤧

ooooof, i hope i don’t bore you with this lol. when i first joined the fandom, i met a person (i won’t name them out of respect bc it’s a unique name and maybe they don’t want ppl to know, they’re not in the fandom anymore) who knew how to make gifs and graphics. i felt like i wasn’t contributing to fandom anything bc the only thing i did was reblogging (which btw that’s already doing so much in this era where no one wants to reblog anything), so i asked this person if they could teach me how to make them. i started with graphics bc it was easier for me to work with pictures and stuff, and once i get the hang of it, i started with gifs. the first ones i made were of louis saying “soccer” for the usaians benefit 🤧 but anyway, even before starting making gifs, i was in a gc with a lot of gifmakers and they were very welcoming but i felt alien being the only one who didn’t know what they were talking abt when they were complaining abt frames, and quality, and colouring 🫠 i have to thank A LOT of ppl in the fandom who used to make tutorials, share their colouring tips, and just in general were very supportive. none of them is in the fandom anymore but you can still see their gifs around heheh. i know i’m not the fastest one making them, but i still feel proud of the quality and the colouring in my gifs <3

Did I tell y’all that my class did a “superlatives” thing? Like I never had that in high school or college or anything. But sga sent a google form out n asked people to vote stuff for other classmates.

And I was like ok another popularity contest. And I briefly worried that I would be nominated as greasiest, ugliest, weirdest, worst fashion/style, etc.

But they ended up doing one for everybody which whatever. And none of them were hateful so that’s something.

Mine was “most mysterious.” Like ofc I don’t care but I was like just say you don’t know me and let me go home. Its just a less rude way to call me the weirdest.

Other peoples had cute drawings on theirs and what not. I got scribbles and “the payback on yt” and I really don’t think it’s the James brown song. There’s a channel by that name but it is odd and has very few subs. And I srsly cant think of anything I’ve done to any of my classmates like I’ve never been mean to them or done smthn sneaky or literally anything. So I didn’t think that’s what they meant by payback. Also there was a picture of sunglasses and the yt channel uses those same glasses. I haven’t watched the vids but they look odd and maybe true crime which I don’t even like so I really don’t know. Insight welcome.

But anyway I would have preferred to have not gotten anything at all frankly. They didn’t have to include everybody. Just let it be the popularity contest it’s supposed to be. At least I didn’t overtly get called out and ik I’m the only person who remembers it.

What’s weird is that I know at least two people who put me in for “best music taste” which was super sweet and that’s what I gotta focus on is the people who DO care to know me. But like if two people said that, why did you just… not use that? And instead actually think and work to come up with something to deliberately jab me. And the YouTube channel like idgi.

Kevin got most likely to answer every question correctly and idk why everyone loves him even tho he’s just as awkward as I am. Anyone I’ve talked to abt it says it’s bc he’s a guy. Like literally my therapist was like the hades gif “he’s a GUY!”

Mackenzie got “most likely to work in the ER” which, she hates the ER. But that is what she did for hours and I guess that’s the only thing ppl know abt her. I def think the two of us are on the bottom of the totem pole, but it doesn’t matter really cause it’s no big deal in the grand scheme, and this year I won’t be seeing anyone anyways. Plus there’s not as clearly defined social strata like high school.

Lowkey Mackenzie was trying to get in on my pity party about how no one cares about her either. And on one hand true igi but the other I was like,,, at least they knew SOMETHING about you to say… so let me have this lol.

So it’s whatever idc but I’m afraid that when I finish this rotation and any of my classmates get assigned to the office I’m at now… technically we’re not supposed to talk about each other in the clinical setting but. I have a feeling that one nurse in particular would talk to this theoretical classmate of mine and whoever it is will dump on me or whatever.

And I don’t dislike the nurse he’s just a kid so whatever but he’s also super smart in the same way kevin is. But even the other nurses or the other providers or anything! I KNOW I’ll never hear from them again but I’m scared that they’ll all talk about how weird I am. excerpt:

Inej inclined her head. She didn't need an explanation.

Nina put her hands back on the rail, this time running them against the grain.

Inej wondered vaguely if she was trying to get splinters. She reached out a hand and placed it on top of Nina's. Nina responded immediately, flipping her hand over and entwining their fingers. A quick squeeze, and then Inej had to go hunt slavers and Nina had to go sit around, feeling useless.

She'd been refraining from using her powers as much as possible. They were dangerous and she didn't know how to use them. She wouldn't be the reason Inej, or one of the crew mates, got hurt.

Her nap only lasted about thirty minutes, since she had to go home eventually, but the point stands.

Max pursed her lips, considering this.

“Alright, now that I’ve given my wisdom to you children, I must go bury myself alive,” Steve said solemnly.

i went to two house parties today and uhh only in the last one is where i actually talked about politics and the guy DID NOT like that. i feel bad for making a few folks in the room feel uncomfortable (to the point where they physically moved away) but i can’t help it!!!!! i truly think what hes saying is bullshit and he might actually be committing fraud i think i should report it?? but ive always used the unspoken rule of not reporting things and like not blowing things out of proportion.

it started because idk why he popped into our circle where we were discussing DATING and ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS to ask if we were going to vote in the elections on Tuesday. A few wanted to talk about the billions of props that are being proposed on the ballot this year but the guy ended up talking about affirmative action. the thing is that its a us supreme court decision, also he is canadian and whole heartedly identifies as chinese and when asked if hes register to vote in this state he said they dont check that. and i was annoyed with that but i got angry and just asked him point blank questions about why its so important for him to participate in OUR election that DOESNT effect him in the slightest (not mention what he is saying is ILLEGAL and a point of tension in our current political climate). he says he has “brothers and sisters” in the US and he will make sure they get rid of race based admissions for colleges.

he tried to tell us facts but people started looking up their phones and says hes wrong and hes like no trust me. its there and everyone’s like ...literally google says no... but he was so insistent. i was quite annoyed and was just like you think race is the biggest deciding factor in school adminissions?? and pointed out how long our applications are -- gpa, test scores, essays, extracurriculars, etc and also admission officers are looking at it wholistically and they are creating a culture too so it makes sense. esp since these are private entities so they can technically do whatever. but anyways i said that the application process is already a lot that race wouldn’t be placed high on the list and he just left. like he just left the group and hung out with another group of people. and everyone was like SHRUG. the other ppl returned to the group and we just talked about something else.

i felt like i made a good point and it really punched the hole into his arguments but it did not sit right with me that he’s trying to illegally vote... theres a 50/50 chance he can be turned away or he can get away with it because of how he looks and maybe acts. election officials are nice and want to make sure everyone can vote. he’s abusing this system or at least what he’s proposing and alluding to is abusing the system and i hate him for that. for a stupid reason also. i dont feel as hot headed about politics anymore. i think im just really tired and i think theres so much at play on how tech and the circles you run in shapes your politics.

the first house party i went to, my roommate briefed me on the fact that these people are wealthy and they have another idea about politics. i didn’t say much of anything while with them and just let them chatter away on what they think. i dont think i really want to know what they think about anything at all and it’s like they live in a completely different reality so they can’t hold the same perspectives i hold so i’ve just backed off from that.

i’ve been taking that route for the most part. this is the first time i really confronted the guy and said what i needed to say. i think i won because he just abruptly left. i think i made a good point and he refuse to acknowledge it. i also dont like him -- like i absolutely will not associate with him ever again. which is probably why i stopped asking and talking about politics now. i think in this city, everyone is wealthly and wants to be wealthy and wanted to take advantage of it when they can. i think its a lot of fluff and most are full of shit. pride and pro abortions and all but they are all veryy rich and have very privileged backgrounds and i hardly think they participate nor think about how the city at large functions which is why i dont want to talk to them about it and i really dont want to know too much because i will always have a sour taste with them.

Hi so recently I've lost a shit load of money due to being scammed. Basically I met this guy on Tumblr who said he's a dealer and he was going to sell me an ounce of weed and deliver it discreetly and confidentiality and at first I was skeptical but I checked out his page and it has tons of posts of him smoking weed and he seemed legit when talking to him plus I figured I got to take what I can get since where I live is very uptight and very hard to get anything, anyway the total was $160 I take a couple of days to pay that and when I do he texts me the ups link and my tracking number and everything seems good until I notice the ups package says on hold and that instantly freaks me out so I send him a screenshot asking him what this means and he's totally cool abt it saying that he talked to customer service and they said it's on hold for refundable insurance what I should have done is Google what that was which would have saved me time, money, and stress but instead I listen to him and he explains that because my "package" is a diplomatic parcel it had to be insured and I was freaking out thinking they'd scan it and I'd be in deep shit so me being totally freaked believes him when he says UPS is going to scan it if I don't pay $300 so I paided the fee then the day it's supposedly going to be delivered they ask for another $450 and I'm just so scared not to pay it but I can't afford that kind of thing so I do my best and get about half of that and eventually since he won't help with the payment I pay the rest and I begin to feel so relieved that I was done with this but then the next day he asks for more money because he claims he lost about $250 of that and when I ask him how he lost it he just repeatly tells me not to trip and to just get more money because this is the last step I begin to ignore his texts and he starts getting pretty manipulative texting me things like if you don't finish this payment we'll both go to jail or I've seen ppl go to jail for smaller amounts and telling me that his girlfriend just gave birth I've been losing sleep over this having nightmares and panic attacks if we'd get caught and I wish I'd seen the signs sooner and had never replied to him in the beginning it was weird because he showed concern when I told him how anxious I was abt all this and how he "paided" half of my fees he claimed he sold his iphone for $300 and I'd just have to get $150 to make it easier for me but now I'm calling his bluff after googling refundable insurance scam and after the UPS agent texting me with a link that deemed unsafe for my phone and said that was a website for scammers plus the so called UPS agent that was texted texted a lot like the guy and I heard ppl can easily text from different phone numbers with different are codes so I've been played. it's just so hard to believe he was in on it. Plz let me know what you think.

It seems like you probably have to cut your losses here. Block this person on all platforms and do your best to move on from it. I don't think that this person is going to get the police involved, since he would get arrested too. But I also don't think you're going to get your money back. If you made a payment with a debit card, credit card, or an app like Venmo or Paypal, you could try to ask them to help you get the money back by reporting that you paid for an item but never received it. However, since the item you were trying to receive is (presumably?) illegal where you are, I don't know how far you'll be able to get with that.

Speaking of technology, you’d have to give him a crash course every day of the week. I like to think he’s a fast learner but when it’s come to tech, there's just sm stuff: youtube, google, instagram, podcasts, audiobooks, netflix.

Nicky leans over your shoulder and glances at your screen.

“Oh is that chapcat? Or tweeter??”

You turned around and scrunched your brows at him.

“Is it the goo- what was it called? Gootube?”

Eventually, he gets a phone but he doesn’t know how to work the damn thing. You're the only contact he has atm. Tbh he prob takes a selfie with you as soon as he gets it. Well.. after you teach him what a selfie is. He’d only take selfies for you but most of his camera roll would be things he saw when he was out and made him think of you.

You told him about texting before but, one step at a time lol. He’d prob develop the habit of calling instead of texting you bc it’s a lot easier and omg he loves facetime. Always greets you with some romantic Italian before saying anything else and always compliments you.

Sometimes he won't say anything but he'll just look at you and admire your beauty. Say it’s golden hour and you’re walking to your car and the sunlight is shining on you. He'll just stare at his phone like 🥰🥺 "ti amo, amore mio"

Phone case would prob be clear or black tbh, iPhone all day long {sorry samsung and android} and it’d be that gold color.. I just know it. Lock screen would be a picture of you two and his home screen would be an off guard picture he took of you.

He’d def need a pair of blue light glasses bc his eyes aren’t used to sm screen exposure. If you have a thing for ppl who wears glasses, he’d wear em all the time lmbo. All jokes aside, I think he would have a routine where he only sets aside x amount of hrs for screen time so he doesn’t strain his eyes too much. He might try to put you on it too.

Omg he’s so old fashioned he’d have a picture of you in his wallet. Which leads me to his ID ahahaha - the day you take him to get his ID is unforgettable. He prob woke up hella early, made breakfast, and spent an hr on his hair and outfit.

Idk the technicalities behind how that would work logistically. Granted we’d have access to his birth certificate and all that but ppl would just look at him like “... when did you say you were born again?! 😳🤨” then ask what cream he uses lmbo.

Teaching him to drive HAHAHA do I really need to go into this? He’d be so nervous at first. I can imagine you two sitting in an empty parking lot and he’s just in the driver’s seat like “uhh… why are there so many buttons?”

He wouldn’t listen to the radio at first. He literally just needs to learn the bare minimum. No need to teach him the horn. He’s from New York, they know how to work those.

Wherever he goes ppl are just drawn to him. So he’ll often make friends without trying bc he has that magnetic pull. Ofc he’ll get the occasional, random “you’re so attractive” compliments but if they flirt a bit too much he’ll automatically go into “i’m taken” mode.

He’d def join a social club whether it’s for jazz lovers, old souls, or pre-boomers {is that a thing?} he’d be a part of it and never miss a meeting. This really helps him to connect with his life from the 1920s, especially with Rocky and Chris in a way.

The world is huge and he’d def meet a few ppl who remind him of his family and friends. When that happens, he’s just so captivated and almost stunned. He’ll ask them a few questions only they would know but when the doppelgangers can’t give a straight answer, he’s sort of saddened. He’d make it a point to tell them they remind him of someone back home though.

I know for a fact if he found someone from Italy - or with Italian roots - in your neighborhood, he’d freak out! If they spoke Italian?!?! He’s got a friend for life now and he prob feels so at home around them {depending on where they’re from and all that, i’m guessing}

Side note, Nicky would roast tf out of restaurants that call themselves Italian but don’t serve genuine Italian food. Speaking of food, he’d prob cook all the time for the two of you. Omg if he had a lil cookbook 😭💖💕

I really feel like he’d be best friends with an old Italian lady. I know this in my soul and you cannot tell me diff. She would remind him of his mother and that’s why he’s so drawn to her. Especially considering the only thing missing that would make his life perfect is having his family with him alongside yours. He’d invite her over for dinner and she’d def bring food for you two.

She wants to hear every detail about how ya’ll meet and she gushes over the two of you once she sees you side by side. She’ll put her hand over her heart and swoon. Her name’s either Carlotta, Giana, or Florentina.

Shopping with this guy?!?!?!?!! Ugh, sm fun. He’ll prob be really frustrated since fashion is diff now from the 1920s but still you would have sm fun. I can tell you rn though, he doesn’t like skinny jeans.

“Toots,” he struggled to pull the fabric up past his knees.

“How the hell do you wear these things?” He grunted in between his words.

Before you could respond, the door to his fitting room flung open.

He looked at you disapprovingly.

You tried to keep a straight face.

“What’s wrong?”

“I can’t move.”

You let out a laugh and Nicky smirked.

“I’m serious! How am I supposed to walk in these?!?!”

“I think you look good!” You tried to affirm him.

He waved his hand at the air as you continued to laugh.

“You’re just trynna get on my good side.”

He gave you a smile before shutting the door.

After a moment, he opened it and peeped his head out.

“Uh.. amore?”

“Yeah?”

“I can’t get ‘em off.”

His cheeks turned pink as you stood up and walked towards him.

His style is v professional/light academia. He’ll prob try and find suits closest to his, like the blue and brown one for instance. Besides, I know he has his favorite outfits from the 1920s and he’d prob try to mimic them as much as possible.

Doesn’t own the first pair of shorts or any jeans at all. He hates the fabric of jeans bc they’re so dense and heavy, unlike his slacks. Shorts? Why would he wanna show his legs if he’s not at the beach/pool or playing find the cannoli? The only modern, laidback things you’ll really see him in are sweatpants {yes, the gray ones 👀}

He would be an absolute music and film lover 100%. If you don’t have one already, he’d get a record player and find some vinyls of his favorite singers from back then. Whenever you two have downtime, he’ll put on the records. He has music on his phone too but “it’s not the same” lol.

We already know he loves movies and he’d be fascinated by some of the modern ones. I think streaming platforms, like Netflix, would be like a goldmine for him bc they have such a huge collection of diff genres. This might be selfish of me but I’d make him watch at least one Robert DeNiro film… just one {but then there’s Martin Scorsese, Joe Pesci, and Al Pacino 🤷🏾‍♀️ one of each ig}

It’s not gonna be a walk in the park but you’re by his side and that’s the most beautiful walk he could ever take. He’ll ease into modern living but he’d def bring some 1920s style with him. I think your home would be a happy one that manages to blend the beauties of both.

He would def go down the rabbit hole searching for documents about everyone back home: Rocky, Chris, Floyd, Ralph. He would look for smthn on everyone. I think most of all he just wants to know what their life was like. If Chris ever got married and if Rocky ever stayed married lmbo.

He’d want to know how it ended too but he’d save that for last. He’d really want you by his side, even if he doesn’t say it. If he came across pictures, he’d pick his favorite ones and put them in his wallet and maybe frame a few.

⭐ BONUS: Right… money. I feel like his crew would save it for him bc he didn’t leave without saying goodbye. However, money from back then isn’t worth equal value now. So I think he would consider investing it in the stock market. Emphasis on 'consider' bc it’s like a rollercoaster sometimes. I can see him working in an office setting being part of upper management. Yeah, you need a degree for most, if not all of these, but I know for a fact somehow he’d get up there. Be it charisma, working his way up to the top. Someone somewhere is gonna call him boss.
