#which means. 'PERSEPHONE in her mother's garden' is the only moment Hades calls his wife by her name (although just in his head)

Note
I vote Damian to be Mari's Persephone because it would be hilarious to see him making flowers bloom when his wife is happy and when she's sad he brings out the hawthorns on anyone that made his Queen cry.

A Hidden Hades Hunting For (Hopefully) Her Husband
Damian is son to Talia al Ghul, the goddess of harvest, sacred law, and the cycle of life and death. There are rumours that beneath her sweet exterior is a woman of high authority and challenge, but none have been confirmed.
She is believed to have wooed Bruce (Zeus) into having her child, however it is more widely accepted that she used her magic and power over fertility to have his offspring without him knowing. His wife Selina refuses to believe that such a brooding yet faithful man would cheat on her after he rid of his playboy-persona millennia ago.
In this AU, Jason is Ares, Dick is Hermes, and Tim is Athena.
Only those who know her well are aware of her true bubbly personality. They’re mostly the deceased souls of those who’ve died.
Marinette is Hades - goddess of the Underworld. She took visits to Earth in order to experience what life was like for mortals years ago, except stopped when gossip flew about around her being dark, despicable, evil.
Marinette laughed. Her domain didn’t need any worshippers in order to prosper, but she didn’t tell Lila that. She only sat back and watched, a grin on her face as students with glowing eyes accused her of unspeakable acts. It was only when one that she viewed as a sibling of sorts - Adrien Agreste - did as well that she decided to do something.
What happened was that a class of teenagers she came back to frequently were put under the spell of Dolos, or Lila who she took the form of. She sensed Marinette’s ichor and threatened to turn her followers against her if she didn’t conform to her will.
It was only after all of their deaths that they learnt what happened.
With a flick of the wrist, a crack formed in the ground beneath Dolos, soon enlarging into a crater as limbs made of fire pulled her screaming form down into the depths of the Underworld. The class watched, stunned, but then a fog began to clear out of their minds. They seemed to wake up, apologies on the tips of their tongues, only to realise that Bridgette and Adrien weren't there anymore.
Dolos was doomed to having to solve an infinite puzzle, whilst Adrien was allowed to live as an equal to Marinette in hell. The class, now adults, are sentenced to be souls who help them in their duties. They aren’t mistreated, however. On the contrary, they’re viewed as friends to her.
Now, we skip to present day.
Damian is sitting on a bench in one of the gardens that he is confined to on the orders of his mother, when he suddenly hears what sounds like a bark. He turns around, only to be met with something shoving him to the ground.
He whips out a vine, wrapping it around the creature to inspect its species. That's when he realises that it's a dog. A very happy dog that starts to lick his face all over and leave its saliva everywhere.
Despite his cold personality, Damian has a soft spot for nature and animals of any sort. He picks it up, stroking it gently and trying to fight off the urge to smile at the way it leans into his touch.
He's touch-starved himself, to put it simply.
Damian sits with what he realises to be a male dog for a few minutes more. He doesn’t bother to keep an eye out for Talia - he’s too busy creating vines that his new friend bats at with his paws. It explains why he doesn’t realise the person walking up to him until they put a hand on his shoulder.
A polite voice calls for him, asking if he found their pet.
He turns, only to be met with a beautiful face framed by a black hood. The woman smiles at him, then suddenly calls out, “Titus!” with a surprised expression.
The animal in his arms leaps forward, starting to lick her whilst jumping up and down happily. Her laughter causes Damian to freeze, since he starts to sense the magic surrounding her. She’s a diety, he realises. But how did she get in here?
That day is the day that a friendship blossomed between Damian and Marinette.
She convinces him that she’s a nymph of sorts, citing that the reason some plants wilt around her are because of a curse set upon her by Talia. It makes him cautious and understandably distrustful until she assures him that she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
They keep their meetings a secret for years, though it doesn't feel like that long because of their immortality. Titus is usually the communication between them, and leads Damian to where he needs to go within his mother's gardens to find Marinette.
She has earrings that preserve her identity and prevent nature around her dying - however, plants still wilt and weaken enough to be on the brink of death. They are brought back to life by Damian almost constantly when she is in his presence, meaning she can touch them without worry.
As time passes, the two become closer. Instead of words, they begin to trade flower crowns and daisy chains. They always have blushes on their cheeks when talking to one another, or even thinking about each other.
This doesn't go unnoticed by Talia.
She plans to figure out once and for all why her son's demeanor has changed, at least until she's called to Olympus by the higher-ups in order to discuss something. Something involving Damian.
This only makes it easier for the two to get away with their escapades.
One day, whilst her and Damian are sitting under a tree, Marinette pulls out a black ring. She shyly offers it to him, making him flustered as he slowly takes and slides it on his finger.
What he doesn't know is that there's magic laced within the jewellery.
They relax for a few minutes in silence, until she breaks it by calling his name. She takes a deep breath, preparing herself as she explains that she's not really a nymph - she's a diety. A diety that he wouldn't like if he found out about the domain that she ruled over.
A soft hand cups her tear-stained cheek. She looks up, only to hear Damian whisper, "I'm sure that's not true, Beloved."
That's all it takes for her to yank him forward into a kiss, which he returns full-force under the watchful gaze of her sibling Adrien in the shadows. It takes all of his will to not jump up and down from joy.
They officially become a couple that day.
Marinette returns to the Underworld in the evening with a dazed expression, causing Alya and her friends to grin and float up to her. She deals with their relentless teasing, trying to cover her face out of embarrassment whilst she hesitantly tells them all what happened.
Adrien is the first to suggest courting Damian, though she immediately shuts it down and expresses fear at being found out. Her reputation was tainted, after all - and maybe he would go back on his promise of still loving her true self.
He manages to convince her of his sincerity by reminding her of all their interactions (he may or may not have watched over them to keep watch and see his ship sail), and Marinette eventually comes to the decision to start courting.
As she prepares lavish gems to gift him in the future, she is unaware of what is happening in the skies way above.
She'd refused to give him up - saying that he was her pride and joy and the perfect soldier for them to use in battle against future enemies trying to overthrow them. That made him even more angry.
Bruce, after a long conversation with Selina and his many children, had decided to have a conversation with Talia about his youngest son not too long ago. He showed interest in wanting to have custody of Damian on Olympus instead of her having him on Earth, making Talia lose her sweet attitude and gain a scowl.
Lightning struck harsh that night, and the goddess of harvest had returned home with her tail between her legs and a newly-formed resentment towards Damian. He was too busy thinking about his 'nymph' friend to notice, however.
In Olympus at the current moment in time, Damian is kneeling before Bruce. The god tells him to stand, his sons and daughters at his side displaying various levels of shock as he begins to explain why he is there, and why he will be in the future.
Everyone had agreed that Talia wasn't a good fit for him, due to her revealed intentions for his birth. He doesn't have time to argue about the situation before he is whisked away into a room fit for a royal, high in the clouds and miles away from his girlfriend.
The next morning, a dinner is set up with all of the gods in Olympus, including Tim, Jason and Dick. Dick is enthusiastic, trying to make conversation with Damian as his brothers are eating (or drinking coffee...). However, he has none of it.
He's too busy thinking about Marinette. How she would think that he'd broken his promise, or had abandoned her, or forgotten about her. His demeanor switches to his defensive one - cold, cruel, uncaring.
Marinette returns to Earth with a crown in her hands the next day, which has a shining jewel in the centre and spikes with the finest of gems at their points. She looks around excitedly, smile on her face as she and Titus wait for Damian.
Hours pass.
Up in Olympus, said diety is being introduced to family friends and other gods, that all coo at him much to his displeasure. He growls under his breath after every new person he meets, only cementing in everyone that he is a child. A young one that needs to be watched over like a hawk lest he attempts to go back to his mother.
Just as he enters his room with a heavy heart, he senses something strange in the mortal world. Large fields of crops near to his old home had just been destroyed - their roots upended and ripped out. His eyes widen.
Damian rushes to Earth, taking a route that is unknown to most whilst trying to keep hidden from his new siblings. He reaches his destination in a matter of mere seconds, but it's too late. He only breathes out a shocked sigh as he gazes down at the crater in the ground.
There's a glint of something gold at the bottom of it, and he picks the item - the crown - up with almost invisible tears in his eyes. The ring on his finger burns as a reminder of Marinette's emotions.
Below him, a frantic Adrien is trying to calm her down, but it's no use. The goddess of the Underworld is hysteric, crying rivers of tears filled with betrayal as souls all around try to ease her too.
Damian spends the next centuries and millennia on Olympus, sometimes returning to Earth when he wants to remember Marinette.
He keeps her a secret from all of the gods except for one of his friends - Jon (Artemis) - though he only mentions that she was someone important that handed him the crown that is always on his head.
He reluctantly begins to view Tim, Jason and Dick as brothers when enough time has passed, but never admits it. Selina and Bruce, however, catch the glints of relief in his eyes when they're in his presence. He finally has someone to talk to without worrying about Talia, excluding Marinette all those years ago.
Speaking of which, she had slowly become closed off and harsher in her treatment of the dead in the Underworld. They see that she's spiraling, hiding her depressed state under a constant frown, but can do nothing about it. Even Adrien is unable to bring back her kind personality in the absence of Damian.
That is, until he catches word from the messenger, Dick, that he is up in the skies on Olympus.
It's a slip-up, of course, but he still manages to catch what Dick says and act like he didn't. He waits until he's gone before he rushes back to Marinette and tells her what he suspects.
A small smile spreads across her face. One that is cruel like the rumours say, yet happy like she once was. Of course he didn't want to leave her, she thinks. He was simply forced into doing so.
Damian is talking to Jon about another recent affair in the middle of a mortal forest, when suddenly, he freezes. He feels a familiar burn at the ring on his hand, along with fields full of nature dying in an instant miles away.
He uses a zeta portal to teleport to the area, leaving behind a confused Jon. He zips around, eyes wide as he senses the plants around wilting slightly, along with some of the nearby animals inching away from him.
Everything becomes quiet. That's when he catches a flash of black darting around in the corner of his vision. He turns there, his eyes widening in recognition when seeing a dog wagging its tail happily.
"Titus!"
Damian takes a step forward.
A large crack forms in the ground beneath him, revealing the depths of the Underworld in all of their glory. Just as he's about to fall down, a chariot of the darkest colours hovers below him, soon speeding off without a second to waste with him inside.
He tries to command vines to capture the person at the reigns of it, but can only muster enough energy to sag back. Strong magic fills the air around him, forcing him to stay seated on plush pillows.
The last thing he sees before his sight is shrouded with nothing is a glint of red at his kidnapper's ears.

Chapter 110: The Summons, Pt. 2
"It can't be…" Eli uttered, as he stared at the person that had interrupted.
"But she's dead…" Snow said.
"Apparently not," Hades replied, as Queen Ravenna strolled into the castle, her beautiful face marred with an evil smirk.
"Sorry I'm late…" she announced, as shock rippled through the entire chamber. Eli gave the baby back to Snow, as he stepped forward.
"You're not welcome here!" Eli stated firmly.
"Well, hello to you too, husband," Ravenna purred, as she strolled toward them.
"That's far enough," Persephone warned.
"At ease Persephone...I'm not here to hurt anyone. I'm here to celebrate this happy occasion," Ravenna countered.
"Seriously lady...you get near my parents and I'll fry you," Emma warned. The Queen smirked.
"Such a spitfire...just like your mother. Hello Snow," Ravenna said, as she directed her attention to her pseudo step-daughter.
"What do you want?" Eli snapped.
"You called the heads of state together so here I am," she responded.
"Your brother Dalben took the Throne when we locked up Arawn," Eli reminded and she smirked.
"Unfortunately, Dalben had a very bad accident and now it falls to me to rule my Kingdom," she informed them.
"An accident...I'm sure," David commented, as his eyes were barely slits as he looked at the woman who had tormented his wife in her alternate childhood. Ravenna smirked.
"I see that no matter what the circumstances...you still found your Prince Charming. Such a spell you weave over people, but I guess that's why they call you the fairest of them all," she said, clearly still jealous of her pseudo step-daughter.
"Look lady...you weren't a part of our lives before and we're going do our best to erase you from our lives now. If I were you...I'd move off to the side and shut the hell up," Emma snapped. Ravenna scoffed.
"So uncouth...you should really give some Princess lessons to your daughter, Snow. Remember our lessons?" Ravenna cooed and Snow shivered. She remembered. She remembered all too clearly. She remembered Ravenna berating her for getting dirty in the gardens and calling her a little freak for talking to birds and animals. She remembered her nails digging into her arm when she would drag her inside. She was positive that she would have done worse if not for her fear of Persephone and Hades. And her father always incited a fight with his wife when it came to her treatment.
"I remember...and I'm never letting you near either of my children," Snow growled. She put a hand to her chest and there was mock hurt on her face.
"Oh, you wound me so, Snow...those are my step-grandchildren, after all," she mused.
"They are nothing to you, because we are no longer married," Eli snapped.
"Lucky for you since my death invalidated our marriage, but unlucky for you, because I assure you that you'll regret casting me out. But congratulations Regina...it seems that between the two of us, Snow has decided I'm the more evil step-mother," Ravenna remarked.
"Well, we both earned the Evil moniker. I'm just choosing to not embrace it anymore. You can have it, but I don't recommend it, lest you wish to find yourself alone and in ruin," Regina advised. Ravenna smirked.
"I'll take my chances…" she hissed, as she looked back at Eli.
"Last chance Eli...I encourage you to make me your Queen again. Things weren't always so bad between us and they can be good now that you're not carrying a torch for Persephone anymore," she said.
"There will never be love between us, Ravenna...and I'm going to take a page from my daughter's book. I won't be marrying anyone that I do not love," he responded. She faked a frown.
"Pity...it will be your funeral," she hissed.
"Stop threatening my father!" Snow blurted out and her mother stepped before her.
"One more threat and you'll return to death," Persephone warned. Ravenna smirked and moved off to the side to stand with the other rulers.
"By all means, All Mighty Goddess...please revere us with your wisdom," she said sarcastically. Persephone steadied herself and took a calming breath.
"Thank you all for coming and enduring the theatrics of a few dissenters that will remain nameless," she began by saying with a steely look at Frollo, Ravenna, and Leopold.
"I am sure you are wondering why you are not only in a new land, but have two sets of memories that make up one life," she continued.
"This new land you are in is the one the original Dark Curse brought my daughter's Kingdom to, as well as several others. Despite being a new and foreign place, it is a good land with many opportunities and advantages," she stated.
"When the curse broke, our family made a life in Storybrooke. That is the town that you will notice as one of your new neighbors," she added.
"I know that with new neighbors brings new borders and that can be scary. But I assure you that each ruler will still be allowed to rule their own Kingdom. As Goddess Supreme of Olympus, I will naturally oversee all the Kingdoms, but I am not one to interfere, unless people are being harmed and my hand is forced," she continued, as she looked at the three troublemakers she had eyed earlier.
"If you are peaceful, then you will have no problem adapting to this new life, which I assure you can be very good in this land. My daughter and I are already discussing educational programs to enrich everyone's knowledge of their new home," she discussed.
"We do not want anyone to fear this new life and we want to introduce you to a land built on liberty and freedom," she added.
"We will have peace and there will be no tolerance for war or oppression. Those that take that path will meet a strong opposition that they will regret challenging," she said, as she saw Anna step forward.
"What about the two sets of memories? How did that happen?" she questioned curiously.
"Yes...and how did we even come to be here in the first place? Many of our Kingdoms were not a part of the original curse," Prince Phillip interjected.
"Yes...a powerful witch from Oz is responsible for casting a spell that enacted time travel, which is expressly forbidden and breaks a law of magic. She sought to change time and create a new life for herself. But it backfired on her and she paid for it with her life," Persephone answered.
"We all seem to remember both lives as a result and when my granddaughter saved us all by reversing her spell, it seems that a new curse united all the realms together and brought us back here," she continued.
"So all this is a side effect of some spell?" King Stefan questioned.
"It would appear so. Our realms are now a part of this realm," she answered.
"And what exactly is this realm?" the Sultan of Agrabah inquired. Persephone took a breath.
"It is known as the Land Without Magic. However, that is obviously untrue to our lands. We remain hidden from those outside our borders and it must remain that way," she said, preparing for the barrage of questions that would come at that.
"Is it because they fear magic?" Elsa asked.
"Partially. But mostly, the people of this land do not believe in magic. They also believe that most of us are nothing more than fictional stories. To discover that we are real would cause many problems. People often fear what they do not understand," Persephone replied.
"So we are trapped here," Stefan surmised.
"No...we are not trapped. We are still assessing what the status of the barriers around the realms is, but no one is trapped. People will be educated on this land and if anyone wants to venture out into the Land Without Magic, that can be presented for discussion," she answered.
"And what happens if they do find out about us? We already have some outsiders in town and we know this land has great technology. What if other outsiders find a way through our barrier?" Midas questioned.
"We will make sure that doesn't happen and as for Circe's followers, we will take measures to make sure they cannot threaten our way of life," she answered. It was a nondescript response, but it was the best she could do on that front at the moment.
"So...there's no going back?" Dorothy asked.
"All the Kingdoms are here now. You'd be going back to a barren place if you were to take a bean and a curse is the only way to return the Kingdoms to our old land. Believe me, the price of another curse is much higher than making what can be a very good life here," Persephone responded and that seemed to put most at ease. For all intents and purposes, while their location may have changed and there were many new things, many things about their lives would remain the same.
"My wife has graciously answered your questions and I can assure you that she has the best interest of all at heart. And while this may be a summons, it is still a celebration as well. There should be music and mingling. And please, take an opportunity to sample some of the food of our new land. I assure you that it will not disappoint," Hades offered, as the meeting dispersed and the musicians they had hired began to play.
"Thank you...I think that was all the questions I could take tonight," she said. He smiled.
"You did beautifully, but there was never any doubt that you would. We may still have a lot to figure out, but most will see that you are right about this new venture in our lives," he assured.
"I'm still worried about them. They're going to be trouble," she lamented, as she looked at Frollo, Leopold, and Ravenna. The three seemed awfully chummy all the sudden and that didn't mean anything good.
"They'll be foolish to do anything now that you rule the heavens, but if they do, we will face them and do what is necessary," he replied.
~*~
David and Kristoff shared a brotherly hug.
"It's so good to see you...both of you," David said, as he hugged Anna as well.
"You too, just a Shepherd," Anna teased. He shook his head.
"You're not going to let that go, are you?" he asked.
"Never," she replied.
"Nice hair cut, by the way," Kristoff mentioned. David smirked.
"You too," he teased, as he slipped his arm around Snow's waist.
"This is my wife Snow, our daughter Emma, and our son, whom we still have to name," David introduced them.
"It's so nice to meet you," Anna gushed, as she surprised Snow with a hug.
"It's wonderful to meet you too, but how do you know each other?" Snow asked curiously.
"Kristoff and I met years ago in the marketplace, both trying to sell goods there, in both realities, actually," David told her.
"But Anna and I met when she was passing through Misthaven. In the original time line, she actually taught me how to sword fight," he added.
"Wow…" Snow said with great interest.
"Yeah...and he kept saying he'd never be anything more than a shepherd, but I knew there was something about him," Anna replied. Snow smiled at her husband.
"You were definitely right," she agreed.
"I'm confused though. How do you have a daughter the same age?" Anna questioned. They chuckled.
"That's a long story, but it goes back to the first curse. We managed to get Emma into a magical wardrobe to escape the curse. We were all frozen in time, while she wasn't," Snow explained.
"So when that woman called you the Savior…" Elsa interjected curiously.
"Yeah...I broke the curse," Emma said.
"And you have magic?" Elsa asked.
"Sure do. True love's magic, actually. I'm still new to it, but I think I'm getting the hang of it," Emma replied, as she demonstrated by poofing a stuffed sheep into existence for her baby brother.
"Aww...it's a little sheep. Look sweetheart," Snow cooed to their infant. Elsa looked amazed by the whole thing.
"And your parents...don't fear your magic?" Elsa asked.
"Fear my magic?" Emma questioned in confusion.
"Of course not...we would never fear Emma. Her magic has saved and protected us," Snow answered.
"Yeah...and she kind of has it because of us. We share true love and that's why she has magic in the first place," David added.
"Are you okay?" Anna asked her sister. Elsa smiled.
"I'm fine...you're very lucky to have such wonderful parents, Emma," the Queen said kindly.
"I am," Emma agreed, as she smiled at them.
"Excuse me," Elsa said politely, as she went to get some air. Anna frowned.
"Is she okay?" Snow asked in concern.
"Yeah...it's just kind of a sad subject for us. You see...our parents feared Elsa's magic, because she couldn't always control it and it can be very destructive if it's unchecked," Anna explained.
"But that's not her fault," David said.
"I agree...but for years, they had her hide it, even from me. Then about three years after they died...it came out and our people feared her. But it wasn't her fault, because she couldn't control it," Anna explained.
"That's awful," Snow said.
"It was...but she learned to control it and we got past it...until…" Anna said, trailing off.
"Until?" David asked.
"Until Elsa found our mother's diary and in her last entry, she wrote that they were going to Misthaven in search of a powerful object they learned of that could take her powers away," Anna replied.
"Take her powers away?" David asked in disbelief.
"I know, it's terrible. Don't get me wrong...they loved us both very much. Their fear just ruled their decisions at times," Anna replied, not really having a good defense for her parents.
"I better go talk to Elsa," she said.
"Wait...maybe I can talk to her. I have magic...I know what it's like," Emma assured. David smiled at his daughter and patted her on the back, as she went to find the uncertain Queen.
"So...what's with the trio of terror over there?" Kristoff asked curiously.
"Oh...that a whole other story," David replied, as they began to explain that situation.
~*~
"Mind if I join you out there?" Emma asked, as she found Elsa in the gardens. Elsa smiled.
"Sure," she replied.
"Look...don't be mad at her, but Anna kind of told us what your parents were doing in Misthaven," Emma said. Elsa smiled.
"Discretion is not Anna's forte," she mused.
"Listen...I know how you feel," Emma assured.
"Sorry Emma, but it doesn't sound like your parents fear you at all and they seem to embrace your magic," Elsa replied.
"They do, but we've had our issues. See...I grew up alone in foster care, except that my grandmother, Persephone, got Morpheus to gift me and my parents with a magical dreamscape that allowed us to be together when we were asleep," Emma explained.
"Really?" Elsa asked. The other blonde nodded.
"Yes...otherwise, I probably would have grown up thinking that they just tossed me out on the side of the road and didn't want me," Emma replied.
"Wow…" Elsa said.
"Yeah...but it was still really rough when I was awake. Most of the foster homes were horrible and there was abuse. I know what it's like to be different. It made me really angry in my teen years and I took it out on my parents," Emma explained.
"Well, they don't seem to hold it against you," the Queen mentioned. Emma smiled.
"No...no matter how many horrible things I said to them or how much I yelled at them, they took it all and never got angry at me for it," Emma said.
"That's wonderful for you, Emma. I loved my parents too, but they were afraid of me," she said sadly.
"Maybe...but we're not afraid and you're not alone anymore," Emma reminded. Elsa smiled slightly.
"Seriously...your sister and brother-in-law know my dad, which means my mom is going to adopt them and you," Emma added, making Elsa chuckle.
"That actually sounds nice," she agreed.
"Come on...let's raid the food table. My step-grandfather did make sure there's a chocolate fountain and I never turn down the opportunity to gorge on junk food," Emma said.
"I adore chocolate," Elsa mentioned. Emma smiled.
"Then we're going to get along really well," she replied, as they went back inside.
~*~
David smiled down at their son, as Snow cradled him and they watched their friends dance. Emma was dancing with Neal, having surprised him that she knew how to ballroom dance, but then he had been reminded that David had gotten the pleasure of teaching her in the dreamscape. They were especially enjoying watching Regina dance with Henry though. She was slowly relaxing and accepting that revenge isn't what would make her happy.
"Why don't you two go dance. We can watch the baby," Persephone suggested, as she prepared to eagerly hold her grandson.
"Oh no...it's my turn," Hades interjected and Snow smiled, as she put him in her step-father's arms. Persephone frowned.
"Excuse me...but I think it's mine," she argued.
"No...you held him last and I haven't held him since this morning," he argued back. David shook his head and took his wife's hand, as led her onto the dance floor.
"At least we'll never be short on babysitters," he mentioned fondly.
"Not with six grandparents," she agreed, as he swept her into the rhythm of the current selection. Snow let the worries temporarily melt away, as he held her close and she rested her head against his shoulder.
~*~
"Yes...and since all the realms are united now, Papa Hades can get you a baby griffin to play with fairly easily," he cooed.
"We are not getting him a griffin," Persephone protested.
"He needs a pet. I had Cerberus…" Hades countered.
"Well, he has Wilby and if we get him anything else, it will be a Unicorn like we did for Snow," she responded. He smirked.
"Or...since you're the Goddess of the heavens now, we could get him a Pegasus," he tempted. She smirked.
"Okay, that's better. A Pegasus it will be," she cooed to him too.
"Seriously? A Pegasus?" Emma asked, as she returned with Elsa and Neal.
"You can have one too, sweetheart. We didn't get to spoil you growing up and we definitely have some gifts to make up for," Persephone replied. Emma smirked.
"That's more like it," she replied.
"I can't believe your grandparents are Persephone and Hades!" Elsa said in amazement. Emma snorted.
"Yeah, it's pretty weird sometimes," she replied, as she noticed the wistful look on the Queen's face.
"I know your parents probably loved you in their way, but they were wrong to make you feel like there was something wrong with you," she said. Elsa nodded.
"I know and I still have resentful feelings toward them at times, but I've mostly forgiven them. They were very misguided, but thought they were doing what was best," she replied.
"Good...because I happen to think your ice magic is wicked cool and I think you're going to find out that my parents will too," Emma said.
"They seem wonderful and it's so incredible that your father knows my sister and Kristoff," Elsa mentioned.
"Yep, which means they're family and so are you. And trust me, once my parents decide to adopt you into their circle, you're family forever," Emma assured. Elsa smiled.
"That sounds nice," she agreed. Unfortunately, that's where the peace and calm ended, as Leroy came running in.
"Terrible news!" he called.
~*~
Detective Landon Griffin had been wandering this strange little town all day and was even more bewildered than before. Especially with what was beyond the town. He was positive that he was in some kind of twilight zone now. Beyond the town, there was forests full of creatures and castles, with carriages that looked to be straight out of fairy tales. If that wasn't strange enough, the town, though seemingly modern, was strange as well. Especially when he happened upon a group of people, who seemed to be discussing how the Princess of the Underworld had just given birth to a demon baby. It was bizarre to say the least. He got his phone out and dialed a friend he still had at the bureau.
"Yeah Zach...it's Landon. Can you do me a favor and ping my phone?" he asked, as he went into the Inn. He decided that he might as well get a room while he was waiting and trying to figure all of this out.
"Yeah...give me a few," his friend said, as the former detective looked around in the lobby on the Inn, which looked like the decor hadn't been updated since the 1980's.
"Damn...what the hell is this place?" he muttered and became frustrated when it seemed like no one was monitoring the front desk. So he wandered around and meandered into the diner side of the establishment. There were a few people eating and it seemed to be open. It also looked like the decor hadn't been updated since the 1980's, but he was hungry and slid into a booth, while he waited.
"Hey Landon...you still there?" his friend Zach asked.
"Yeah…" he answered, as he perused a menu of typical diner items at absurdly cheap 1980's prices. He wasn't even sure how anyone could make a profit with these kinds of prices, let alone keep the doors open at all. It was probably why the decor was so outdated. He just hoped the food was decent.
"Uh...I'm not getting anything on your phone. Where are you?" Zach asked.
"I'm in Maine, near the coast in a really small, weird town," Landon responded.
"Not according to the readings on my end. I'm getting nothing on any towers in Maine," Zach responded. Landon glanced out the window and saw a cell tower in the near distance.
"That's impossible...I'm looking at a cell tower right now," he said in frustration.
"Sorry buddy...but I've got nothing. What's going on?" Zach asked.
"I'm not sure yet...but something really weird. I'll keep you posted," he replied, as he started hearing screams from outside. It managed to attract the attention of the other patrons in the diner and slowly everyone stepped out to see what the commotion was. And he scarcely could believe his eyes at what he was seeing. He watched in abject horror, as a teenaged looking boy in tattered green tinted clothes flew through the air and watched the people scatter in fear. But it wasn't just from him, as a shadowy figure swept through the streets. People ran and screamed and he found himself screaming, as he watched the shadowy creature literally rip something shadowy from a man. The man screamed in agony as he did it and then fell dead to the ground.
"What the hell is this…" he uttered, as he hid under a table on the patio and watched the spectacle with curious horror...

"She takes after her mother." - Zeus about Eris
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Eris is the daughter of the Zeus, Ruler of the Olympian gods, and his wife, Hera. She often entered into the schemes and plans of her older twin brother Ares to ignite the dissension that often leads to war. Possibly as a way to cause dissension between gods and mortals, she stole the golden apple from the garden of the Hesperides guarded for Hera and had it engraved with the words, “For the Fairest.” She then tossed it among the guests attending the marriage of King Peleus of Aegina to the goddess Thetis. Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite then tried to claim the apple in the dispute that triggered the Trojan War. Her activity after that event is unrecorded, but after the war, several Trojan refugees lead by Dardanian prince Aeneas conquered the area upon Rome was built on. During the Roman Empire, Eris was intensely worshipped by the Romans as one of their most important goddesses. During this time, Hercules most often antagonized Eris as he prevented most of her attempts to cause dissent and strife among mortals.
"Discord, you are my wrath. Send their bodies to Underworld and bring me their heads." - Hades
Tumblr media
During one of his skirmishes with mortal heroes, Hades gave Eris the ability to turn into giant tapian snake called Enyo. She has bitten heads of mortal heroes off and brought them to Hades in the Underworld. Eris later used both this giant and small form of tapian snake to spread more strife among the mortals.
Tumblr media
In his visits to Earth, Zeus became incensed that Eris was taking an active role in exciting her followers into killing Christians in his name. He decided to break off ties with Earth and allow the worship of the Olympian Gods to fade away. Eris retaliated by assisting many of the gods eager to preserve their ties to earth into hunting down mortals. Zeus faked his death to lend credence to an end of worship of the Olympian gods. To all who had seen these events, it appeared as if the gods were dead, but Zeus had several spells in effect that any god that was killed would be restored to life. Eris in meantime tried to hold on to whatever worshippers she had, but it all ended quickly. Defeated, Eris retreated to Olympus for some time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In modern years, Eris became intrigued by the forces of terrorism and racism on earth and even masqueraded as a mortal to stir up trouble between blacks and whites, Jews and Anti-Semitics, left and right wing liberals and other potentially controversial groups. Seeing as her brother Aries had fared unsuccessfully against Hercules, she began training her own modern champion, Centurion, as a worthy ally. She eventually sent him to kill Kyllian, a mortal man imbued with the power of a trio of Celtic Gods, many of whom the Olympian gods beheld with some enmity. After Kyllian defeated Centaurion, Eris realized that he might make a better pawn or ally than a new adversary and she vanished back to Olympus to plot her next scheme.
|| Recent History ||
"You humans are so predictable." - Eris
• Her first appearance is noted by Tony Stark; he claims that he first saw her in Afghanistan for a very brief moment not knowing her true identity. Their conversation was short and it ended with her saying, "You know what I like about you, Stark? You don’t have a heart." Then she just vanished into the thin air with misty fashion. After he was critically wounded Stark wandered more about her true nature.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
• Her second appearance is after the death of Stane. Tony confronts her about past events asking was she somehow involved in all that. Her response was that he must be more specific because- "a lot of things are her fault." She then introduces herself as Eris Goddess of Discord, before vanishing once more. After the defeat of Vanko, Tony found his home in a chaotic mess and a note on his desk which said: "Discord favors the heartless." Hinting that he is favored by Goddess Eris. She appeared a few times more after that, usually to protect him stating that "nobody is allowed to decapitate her favorite mortal". She also had a few ‘interesting’ encounters with Clint Barton and Bruce Banner who aren’t that much fond of her.

|| Extra Information 1.00 ||
"There’s my Sunshine!" - Tony Stark to Eris
- Likes: Chaos, tipping the balance of good to evil.
- Dislikes: Losing, being proven wrong, defeat, nobility.
- Group Affiliation: Olympus, Ares, Hades, herself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- Ancestry: Zeus (father), Hera (mother), Ares (older twin), Hephaestus (brothers), Eileithyia, Hebe, (sisters), Hercules, Apollo, Hermes, Dionysus, Perseus (half-brothers), Artemis, Athena, Aphrodite, Persephone, Panthia (half-sisters), Poseidon, Hades (uncles), Demeter, Hestia (aunts), Asclepius, Cupid, Janus, Deimos, Phobos (nephews), Harmonia (niece), Triton, Rhode, Benthescyme, Neptunia, Arion, Pomona, Consus, Vertumnus (cousins)…
- Common Olympian Powers And Limitations: immortality, regeneration,  shapeshifting, flight, the ability to become invisible to the human eye, telekinesis, superhuman strength, stamina, heightened senses, speed and they have the ability to "teleport." Some possess the ability to manipulate matter and the elements of nature and are able to create natural phenomenon or natural disasters. They also possess a wide range of seemingly magical spells such as the casting of fireballs. One Olympian god cannot restore humans or gods to life. It took both Zeus and Hera to restore the life of their grandson, Evander. Also, most of them cannot heal others without the blessing of either Athena or Zeus. The only gods that were able to do so were Ares and Hades. Only a very few things can kill an Olympian: Hind's Blood, the Ribs of Kronos and Zeus.
- Eris’ Strength Level: Eris possesses superhuman strength enabling her to lift (press) about 25 tons under optimal conditions.
- Known Superhuman Powers Of Eris: She possesses the conventional physical attributes of the Olympian Gods. Like all Olympians, she is immortal. She has not aged since reaching adulthood and cannot die by any known conventional means. She is immune to all known terrestrial diseases and is invulnerable to conventional injury. If wounded, her godly life force would enable her to recover with superhuman speed. It would take an injury of such magnitude that it dispersed a major portion of her bodily molecules to cause her a physical death. Even then, it might be possible for Zeus or a number of gods working together to revive her. Also, she is able to make herself invisible to mortals, or only visible to one person she chooses to, which makes easier for her to plant discord and hatred in the heart of mortals, however, gods and half-gods are immune to this effect and can see her all the time. Eris does have some superhuman strength, but she is not quite the powerhouse as gods like Hercules or Ares. Her Olympian metabolism gives her far greater than human endurance in all physical activities. Eris also has limited mystical powers common to all the Olympian gods, such as shapeshifting into a tapian snake. According to her, each Olympian has personal object foraged by Hephaestus that enables their powers; hers is known as Discord’s Ribbon Device and it gives her many supernatural abilities.
Tumblr media
"Do you really want to test my powers?" - Eris
- Her Normal Abilities: Eris has great skill in the use of all the implements of war used in the time of ancient Greece and Rome.
|| Discord’s (Clawed) Ribbon Device ||
"Put your hand down!" - Clint Barton
Discord’s Ribbon Device, is a multifunctional Olympian apparatus foraged by Hephaestus. The hand device is a gold colored, forearm-length glove worn on the left hand of the user, with a red gem in the center of the palm. It is controlled by a neural interface and is powered by DNA in the user's blood, functionally rendering it impossible to use except by Eris. The device has numerous functions with a variety of controls on its surface that can be used. It can also wirelessly control Olympian technology, triggered through a button on the back of the palm.
|| Discord’s Ribbon Device || Its Abilities ||
- Conducting a scan of a human - though it is unknown what the scan actually detects.
- Firing a powerful kinetic energy wave, capable of throwing grown humans several meters with significant force. It can potentially kill the target if they impact a solid surface nearby.
- Shooting a deadly fiery energetic neural link that connected to the brain of another person with the intention of torturing or killing them.
- Creating an energy shield that encompasses and protects Eris from harm. This shield only stops things that are incoming at high velocity and blasts. Arrows and thrown items go right through the shield.
- Paralyzing a human.
- Giving Eris ability to use pyrokinesis and telekinesis.
"You never were one for flowers." - Ares to Eris after she burned down Persephone’s garden.

Hades Headcanons
So I did the mythological headcanons, right? And since I’m currently trying to befriend Photoshop (we do NOT get along, never did. But I figured I’d try to fix our relationship?), I thought I’d try it with some mythological headcanons centered around my favorite god - Hades!
1. Before Hades, Erebus/Nyx ruled the underworld and when Hades moved down there, they taught him how things worked
It just makes a lot of sense to me that Erebyx ruled the underworld before Hadephone did. And, I mean, while Zeus got their sisters upstairs to help him figure out how things worked, who exactly did that for Hades? (For Poseidon, I headcanon that he learned from Hydrus and Thalassa)
Tumblr media
Hades braced himself as he entered the depth of the underworld. Why had he even agreed to make it all a gamble? He had never been good at those. Hera and Demeter used to beat him all the time at all their games.
And he was still sure that Zeus had cheated. Oh, what a coincident, the new kid came in as the dashing hero and ended up becoming the king of Olympus. Like that was in any way or shape legit.
Gritting his teeth and balling his fists at the sides of his body, he took a farther step into the scary, endless depth of the underworld.
It just wasn’t fair. Zeus got to hang out in the fancy, pretty palace upstairs - with all their sisters! - while Hades was basically sent into the next dark stomach. He had a little sympathy with Poseidon, because his baby brother was also sent away to rule on his own.
“Hey, there, kiddo. What brings you down here?”
Hades was proud to say he did not squeak like a little girl. Only Poseidon did that. Frowning, Hades turned to look at the man who had just spoken. His hair was dark and his skin pale as though he had never seen the light of day before. Lanky and tall, but something about him was kind of creepy. He had one arm wrapped around a beautiful woman with dark skin and even darker eyes. She offered Hades a gentle smile as she tilted her head.
“I am Nyx, the Lady Night, and this is my husband Erebus, the Lord of Darkness”, introduced the woman softly. “Now, who are you?”
“I’m... Hades”, replied the boy, shifting a little nervously. “I’m... I guess I’m the Lord of Death now? My siblings and I drew straws and you could say I got the short end of the deal...”
“Ah”, grunted Erebus, a calculating frown on his face. “I heard about that. Kronos didn’t last that long, did he?”
“Sorry, but who are you exactly? I’m a little... out of touch. Spent my life kind of inside my father’s stomach”, grunted Hades, not too excited about sharing his new realm with those total strangers.
“We’re the king and queen of the underworld”, chuckled Nyx. “When this world was created, Mother put us in charge of the underworld and our siblings Aether and Hemera in charge of Olympus. Our siblings were replaced by their children Uranus and Gaia, who then were replaced by their children Kronos and Rhea and now by... well, your siblings, I assume.”
“Ri--ight. So, this just got awkward”, grunted Hades, arms crossed in front of his chest in a defensive way. “Basically, I’m here to take over your job, huh?”
“Oh, you can have that!”, laughed Nyx and shook her head. “We’re overdue for retirement anyway. Got a nice, cozy castle in the depth of Tartarus.”
“...Ah”, nodded Hades, carefully looking around.
He shifted from one leg to the other. He was nervous. He had never been on his own before. All his life, he had spent with Demeter, Hestia, Hera and Poseidon. There wasn’t much to do in their father’s stomach, but at least they had each other. Always. At least until Zeus came in to save the day, forcing them all to join in on a revolution. They were just kids.
And Hades really didn’t want to be alone. He wanted to go home, to his siblings. Only... that this was now his home, apparently. An entire, dark, creepy kingdom all to himself.
“You know”, drawled Erebus thoughtfully, eyeing Hades. “We’re not much in a hurry. You want us to stick around for a bit? Show you how everything works down here? Where everything is?”
“Uh, sure. I don’t care”, shrugged Hades indifferently, even though on the inside he felt immensely relieved.
He hoped ‘a bit’ would last a while.
2. Erebus/Nyx basically adopted Hades and they gave their boy a puppy
I headcanon Hades as a real family person and a god who actually has a lot of love to give. Both, inside Kronos’ stomach with Poseidon and their sisters, as well as afterward. So when Erebyx took him in to show him how things worked down there, they basically adopted him. Hades grew up with Hecate, Eris, Thanatos, Morpheus, Hypnos, Nemesis, Eros and the other kids of Erebyx. Which makes sense considering most of Erebyx’s kids are marked as underworldly gods (and which makes me headcanon them as the underworld council of Hades to counter the Olympian council).
Tumblr media
Hades was just taking a stroll through the underworld. He did that, sometimes. After all, there was still much to explore that he hadn’t seen yet. He was very grateful to Erebus and Nyx for the guidance they have been providing so far, but at times he still felt very lost.
Coming to terms with his powers and trying to be the king of his own realm were... not exactly easy tasks. And that Zeus was flaunting around how good he was doing was so not helping. Honestly, Hades really didn’t like the guy.
Hades was suddenly ripped out of his thoughts as he was tackled to the ground by a black mass. The black mass growled and yelped. When things around him slowly came into focus again, he knew he must have hit his head, because he was seeing not just drouble but triple. One dog, but three heads.
Blinking a couple of times, he waited for his vision to go back to normal again. Only then, the three heads started sniffing him and licking his face. Separately. Huh. Okay. Three-headed dog, it is. He watched the creature for a long moment, but when the puppy wagged his tail excitedly and tried to get Hades into playing with him, Hades found it oddly impossible to deny the creature.
After a few rounds of fetch with the thigh-bone of a close-by skeleton, the three-headed puppy tackled Hades again. He yelped and squeaked happily as he licked Hades’ face and neck, tail wagging in excitement.
The poor thing acted as attention-starved as Hades sometimes felt. Frowning, Hades looked around, trying to find the puppy’s mother. But judging by the state the puppy was in, Hades doubted he’d find anyone.
His frown morphed into utter determination as he gathered the creature up in his arms and returned to the palace. Gathering the puppy up some closer, he leaned in to whisper.
“Okay, boys, listen up. You gotta put on the most convincing puppy-pout ever, you hear me? Mom and dad are not gonna be amused, I think”, whispered Hades.
Squaring his shoulders, Hades continued on to the throne-room where he found Nyx and Erebus. Both primordeal gods looked at him curiously.
“I found a puppy”, declared Hades. “Can... I keep him? Please?”
Erebus and Nyx exchanged an amused look as they were confronted by four matching puppy-pouts. “Of course you can. You’re the king, my boy.”
“What do you want to call him? Them?”, asked Nyx curiously.
“Mh... I thought maybe... Zerberus?”, mused Hades thoughtfully.
The three heads all yelped in agreement, trying to lick Hades’ face. He was so going to take good care of them and not abandon them, because that was just not what family did.
3. Hades/Persephone are happy and in love
Yes, he kidnapped her. But so did the Beast with Belle and that’s a great love-story repeatedly retold. Who’s to say she didn’t also fall in love with him? I just think that Hades is... Very Bad at expressing his feelings. That was the only problem there, really.
Tumblr media
When Hades first saw her, he ran into a solid marble-wall.
He had been on one of the semi-regular meeting him and his brothers had, on Olympus. And as always, Zeus had been a smug pain. So nursing a headache the size of Tartarus, Hades just wanted to get back home. But that was when he saw her. She was easily the most beautiful creature Hades had ever laid eyes on, as young and lovely as a delicate blossom. He had been so awed that he craned his neck and tried to watch her for as long as possible, losing focus and kind of accidentally missing a wall.
The Muses were going to make fun of him for that for the next five centuries, because they were his only witnesses.
When he got home, with an even bigger headache than before, he decided to do what he did best: Mope. He had no idea what to do. Feelings weren’t exactly his thing.
All his siblings aside from Hestia were married. Some very happily, like Demeter with Karmanor - nice fella, bit dull and way too in love with his garden, but quite the perfect match for Demeter, really - or moderately happy as Poseidon with Amphitrite - a bit cold, but that came probably with the whole half-fish-deal - or, well, the unhappy ones; Zeus and Hera. The point was, they all had a love-life going on. Had gotten married. Hades had never even looked at a woman like that before. He had always simply rationalized that he had no interest in those sort of things.
Only. Only now he kind of really had? But what did one do when they felt this way? Frowning, he decided to ask the one man Hades definitely knew was absolutely happy with his wife.
“Erebus, how... did you make Nyx fall in love with you?”, asked Hades uncomfortably as he approached the God of Darkness.
“Oh, don’t ask me, boy”, laughed Erebus and shook his head. “Mother sent us both down here into the cave and then it just... happened. Why do you ask?”
“No... reason”, replied Hades and left.
So Erebus and Nyx were just down here and then it happened? That sounded doable, right?
“EREBUS! Did you tell Hades to abduct a girl?!”
Erebus fell off his throne as his wife stormed in, furious and wild. He normally liked that look on her, but not so much when it was aimed at him. Shifting nervously, he tried to figure out what he had done wrong.
“No? Why do you think that, love of my life?”, asked Erebus cautiously.
“Oh no, do not sweet-talk me, mister”, huffed Nyx, glaring at him. “There’s a girl in our palace who has no idea what she’s doing here and Hades is having a mental melt-down about it! Apparently, you gave him ‘great advise with women’. That resulted in him abducting Zeus’ daughter.”
“...Oh. Oh no. I didn’t... I mean...”, grunted Erebus, unsure how to even respond to that.
“Well-”, started Nyx displeased.
“Nyx? What... What do you give a woman to say’ I’m sorry I abducted you, I just don’t know how to talk to women?’“, interrupted Hades as he entered their chambers. “Because she looks really pissed.”
“Flowers”, suggested Nyx after a long moment, massaging her temples. “Try with a lot of flowers. And words. Like, actually articulated words that express your feelings and thoughts. No more caveman behavior, young man, you’re not a mortal! And if the flowers fail, try to woo her with exotic food.”
“Flowers and food. Got it”, nodded Hades, determination written all over his face.
He went to the upper world to pick all the flowers he could find. Gathering all his courage, he went to the chambers where he had left Persephone and he prayed she didn’t have her mother’s temper.
“H--Hello”, started Hades awkwardly, shuffling around as he tried to hide all the flowers behind his back.
Persephone looked not the least bit impressed as she stood before him with her hip cocked and her arms crossed over her chest. “You know, I thought you looked like a bad boy, but I didn’t think you’d be... that bad at everything you do.”
Hades sputtered a little, his cheeks flushing. “I... I brought you flowers. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to abduct you. I mean, I meant to abduct you, I didn’t accidentally abduct you, but what I mean is... I don’t know what I mean...”
“You’re a mess”, sighed Persephone and shook her head as she looked at the blushing boy. “But you’re lucky you’re a cute mess.”
Hades’ blush significantly lit up even brighter.
