Pairing: Solo Sikoa x Fem!Bloodline!Reader

Warnings: Fluff!

Word Count: 1,391

Summary: Ever since you joined the team the boys notice how whipped you got Solo and tease him for it.

A/N: I know I’ve used this gif like 3 times, but it fits so well with everything! Hope You Enjoy!

It's been 3 months since you joined the Bloodline after impressing the leader Roman, and you're so glad you did because you have an amazing friendship with each and every member.

You and Jimmy are the clowns of the team. Always making jokes about people, not caring what they think.

You and Jey are kinda chill. Y'all talk to each other, but you're not that close.

And then there's Solo.

Solo's gotta be your favorite out of everyone. You don't know what it is about him, but you're so drawn to him. He barely even talks and he's got you like this.

You're always hanging out with him and making sure he feels included even when not talking, and that's probably what makes him feel so special to you.

Right now, you, Jimmy, and Jey walked backstage as Jey patted your arms and neck with a towel. You just won your match against Zelina Vega, which was very easy.

“That match was a banger, Uce." You smiled at Jimmy's praise. "I know. I'm so tired of getting jobbers. Where’s the real competition at?" You complained, walking through the locker room door.

Roman was sitting on his throne with Solo and Paul standing behind him. You instantly made a b-line for Solo, hugging on his arm. “Did you see my match? I won!” Solo chuckled, nodding his head. “Yeah.” He shortly answered.

You squealed, jumping up and down. “I looked good didn’t I?” The boys watched as you gave Solo all your attention. “Speaking of looking good, is this new gear? You look real good in black and white.” The clearing of a throat cut your sweet conversation short.

You turned around and saw Roman staring at you. “What?” You didn’t mean for your sassy tone to come out. Roman cocked an eyebrow up. “So you’re not gonna talk to us?”

You ‘thought’ about it for a minute, before answering. “Uh, no? Come on Solo, let’s go to the catering before your match!” You dragged Solo out the locker room, leaving a shocked Roman and Uso’s.

“Damn Uce, she told you.” Jimmy joked, but shut up when Roman gave him a death glare.

The boys sat back, waiting for Solo’s match to come on.

About 20 minutes later, Solo’s match came on. You accompanied him to the ring as he was set to fight Santos Escobar with Zelina in his corner.

As Santos made his entrance you sat on the top turnbuckle with Solo standing between your legs, and back facing you. You massaged his shoulders, helping him calm down before the match.

As Santos got in the ring Solo helped you through the ropes, opening them for you. At the locker room the Uso’s and Roman were making jokes about Solo, seeing how he was quick to do everything for you.

His match was going well, but Zelina must’ve thought she was gonna do something when she hopped on the apron. You were quick to run around the ring and swipe her feet off. She groaned in pain as her face hit the hard apron.

With the small distraction Solo hit Santos with a Samoan Spike before getting the pin. Fans booed and cheered as the 3 count hit. You jumped up and down, clapping loud. “My baby won!” You slid into the ring, pushing the referee and taking her place.

You raised his hand high, yelling at the fans who were booing. “Shut up, you’re just mad he’s better!” Solo bit back a smile, not wanting to break character.

After a little bit of celebrating you both made your way backstage and to the locker room. “Solo won! He beat Santos’s ass!” Solo finally broke character, laughing at your words. “Yeah, Solo’s the man!” Jimmy said, patting Solo’s chest.

Roman stood up from his throne, silencing everyone. “We’re not done. We got a promo tonight.” Everyone looked confused at his words. “We do?” Jey asked, earning a nod from Roman.

“Yeah, Judgement Day wanna call us out on Twitter, so let’s go put them in their place. Everyone, go wash up and change.” Everyone parted ways going to the showers.

After everyone showered and met up at the gorilla, the Bloodline music played, Roman taking lead and then everyone else.

Many fans held their ones up, supporting the team. You were with Solo the whole time despite the fact you were supposed to be on the side with Jey.

Roman talked in the microphone about how y’all were the best team that happens to WWE, but it wasn’t long before the Judgment Day’s theme hit.

Fans stood up, excited for what’s next between the two teams.

They entered the ring, everyone staring down at each other. Rhea winked at you, then grabbed a mic. “Oh Roman, please shut up. You’re just talking and talking about shit that nobody cares about.” Fans began to cheer as Rhea spoke.

Dominik laughed, getting the mic from Rhea. “Yeah and when-” As soon as Dominik began to speak fans booed. The whole Bloodline started laughing. You grabbed the mic from Roman.

“Oh, Dommy Dom, can you talk or are the fans louder than your voice?” You teased. “Or does Mami need to do all the talking for you?” All attention turned to Rhea as you challenged her.

Rhea laughed when you came after her. “Are you talking to me Y/n or do you need permission from Roman?” ‘Ooos’ echoed around the arena as your tongue poked through your cheek.

“Rhea, I might need permission on what I do with the team, but I don’t need permission from Roman to beat your ass. So if I was you, I would take you, your team, and Dommy boy out of this arena and go back to where you came from.” Fans watched in anticipation as you and Rhea exchanged words.

Rhea was about to say something, but JD snatched the mic away. “Oi, who do you think you’re talking to like that? Don’t ever talk to Mami like that again.”

You stepped back as JD got closer and closer to your face. “Solo!” You called. Solo was at your side in an instant, standing in front of you, and staring JD down. JD gulped seeing how serious Solo looked. “Oh, what’s wrong Jordon? Can’t handle my man? You might have Mami, but she’s NOTHING compared to Solo.”

It was all still in the ring, everyone looking at each other before all hell broke loose. Hits were being thrown. Roman was after Finn, Jimmy was on Priest, Jey with Dominik, and Solo after JD.

You fought Rhea for a little bit, but she quickly retreated, grabbing Dominik on her way out. The team stalked up the ramp, holding their body in pain.

“Bye, bye!” You waved, laughing as they cursed at you, but you couldn’t hear due to the loud fans. You went to Solo almost jumping on his body, hugging him. “You were so hot fighting JD.” You kissed his cheek, a blush spreading across his face.

Fans took pictures of the blushing Solo, surprised to see him break character. You all went backstage to get your bags.

After all that fighting Jimmy grew thirsty and seeing Solo with a water bottle made him ask. “Yo Uce, let me get some water.” Solo gave Jimmy the dirtiest glare. “Damn man, calm down I wanted some water, but nevermind.” Jimmy said, holding his hands up in surrender.

You came through the door with your bags in hand, panting. “Oh my god, I need some water, I’m so thirsty!” Before you went to Solo, Jimmy warned you. “Don’t go to Solo. He’s not gonna give you any wat-” Jimmy stopped talking as he watched Solo hand you the bottle of water.

He looked betrayed as you drank the cold water. “Are you serious bro, I wanted some!” The locker room was full of laughter as you gave Solo his water back.

“Don’t be mad, Uce. Y/n’s got Solo so whipped, it’s crazy.” Jey said and to everyone’s surprise Solo didn’t argue back.

You winked at the team with a smile. “I would be to if I was dating someone like me. Come on baby, let’s go to the hotel!” Solo got up quickly, taking all 3 of your medium sized bags and going to the car.

Probably my least favorite out of the trilogy.

Which is weird considering how much I love the possession trope and my boi Pecharunt.

But the way they just did it felt like a giant middle finger to me and everyone else who even remotely liked the Toxic Chain Kieran Theory.

First off, Kieran does not get possessed, in fact, he's the only one to NOT get possessed. Ironic.

Second, what the characters do when they're possessed... well... you've probably seen it by now

They do the fucking chicken dance while screaming "Mochi".

Which.... yeah. It's stupid, it's embarrassing, and I do not like it.

And yeah I can see why some people might enjoy it, but I just don't.

Oh but it gets worse (or better, depending how you feel about this)

So with the whole town under Pecharunt's control (and them doing the stupid dance) the player and Kieran go to stop this mayhem and get people back to normal. Boom, the end.

So, why don't I like it?

It's just... embarrassing. Gamefreak has hyped up Pecharunt and made them out to be a legitimate threat.

It could've been cool with Pecharunt slowly spreading its control to both people and Pokémon and wanted world domination.

We could've have an actual evil Pokémon in a main series game instead of an evil team! Pokémon are sentient, they're intelligent, they know the difference between right and wrong.

But, we didn't get that. In fact, this meme I made perfectly sums up how I feel

Point is, they hyped up Pecharunt out to be this puppet master, this shady manipulator, this evil Pokémon who desires control over people and Pokémon, but also gives them what they want. It stole Ogerpon's masks and killed her trainer for crying out loud!

Oh, which reminds me!

If Mochi Mayhem was Gamefreak giving us the middle finger for liking the Toxic Chain Kieran Theory, then this is them curb stomping us to the ground.

If you had ANY more hope that Pecharunt was this manipulative evil gremlin, then it's better for you to just give up that hope so you don't end up crushed.

So, in this YouTube video we learn that Pecharunt was raised by an old couple and since Pecharunt wanted more love, it gave the old couple its mochi and it made them greedy. The couple then tasked Pecharunt to steal Ogerpon's masks and bring them back.

See guys? Pecharunt was told to get the masks by the old couple! The old couples greed were responsible for this!

They really couldn't have Pecharunt be evil by itself, they had to pin the blame on the old couple. And yeah, Pecharunt was greedy, it wanted more love. But STILL

And yes, I'm aware that the old couple is a reference to the Japanse story of Momotaro, but this shit SHOULDVE BEEN EXPLAINED IN-GAME

I should not have to go watch a YouTube video to figure out its basic motivation!

I even thought of an idea where if someone could take Pecharunt to the crystal pool they could see the old couple again. It would not only explain Pecharunt's motivations, and give Pecharunt some closure.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: The music is a banger. I like how Pecharunt's theme is similar to the Loyal 3, it's about the few connections the game ever makes.

Is it finally over? Can I see the sunlight again?

Jokes aside, I'm ready to get this done with.

So yeah, Mochi Mayhem.... it wasn't the best in my opinion. It just felt too silly, and didn't take the whole possession thing seriously. I didn't really feel anything about canon Pecharunt other than a mild inconvenience.

I know some like Mochi Mayhem and that's fine! It's okay for people to like how things went!

I just feel a bit disappointed. But I suppose that's the danger with fan theories, it gets your expectations too high.

Nothing was really explained. I'm not expecting them to spoonfeed the audience, but I wish there was more things that were explained!

The Untold Story of Pecharunt, The Loyal 3 and Pecharunt's connection, what brought the Loyal 3 back, these are things that should've been explained in the game.

Gamefreak, if you're going to have some red herrings in a story, there needs to be some foreshadowing to help cancel it out. When all of the evidence points to Kieran getting possessed/influenced and Pecharunt being a legitimate and intimidating threat, you can't expect us to NOT be disappointed.

I guess the only positive I can say (besides the music) is the interactions between the Area Zero gang and the Kitakami siblings was fun. I enjoyed that.

But yeah, those are my thoughts.

Plot: 3/10

Characters: 5/10

Music: 100/10

Pokemon Lore: -2/10

Overall: 3/10 (I'm being generous here)

watching Leverage episode 1

if you saw a previous post of mine that started like this....no you didn't i meant to click edit not post y'all ( @0hheytherebigbadwolf & @shana-rosee ) have enticed me and i am very curious about this show. i thought i might as well live-blog my thoughts as i watch the show. today will be s1 ep1. general thoughts will be under the initial reactions spoilers, obviously

almost accidentally watched a different Leverage

i believe it was a reboot or an adaptation of this show?

not even 5 minutes in and it's not pulling any punches

oh my god that is tristan

WE ARE 3 MINUTES IN AND THE PLOT IS SPICY

"mr. ford, don't you want to screw over the insurance company that let your son die?" OH??? DO TELL

gotta say i love the editing so far of this show. going from the meeting between this ford dude and the guy who got his blueprints stolen to the Heist™️ just....*chef's kiss*

HE DID THAT FOR A BASEBALL CARD??? WHO IS ELLIOT

parker's dad said "be a better thief" and she went "aight bet" only respect for MY queen

"parker's insane," ford said. oh she can't be that bad-- *shows flashback of her childhood home exploding* ....ok i see his point, but like, her dad was a dick

you're telling me, that they accounted for everything and all was going well, but got caught because of the nba playoffs???

listen, i am already looking at this show with the ot3, so when elliot said "it's what i do" after saving alec from security detail, how can i not see alec's reaction as something other than "ok, so i might have a thing for him"

yes, yes the easier answer is alec is impressed by elliot's skills and is also impressed that elliot didn't just leave him to get caught, but i am a lady who likes to wear her rose-tinted glasses

"so this is plan b?" "technically this is plan g" sir...when did you switch to plan b???? was it when parker jumped off early??

omg the act the trio played as the left the building? oscar worthy, i would've been fooled

"did you have fun playing the black king instead of the white knight?" which one of those writers felt like a fucking king after writing that. i know someone chuckled in their little seat like 'now that's a banger line!'

we're only 15 minutes in and there's still more???

oh? the plot thickens!

General Thoughts:

WOW ok it is only one episode and i am invested. they give us great character dynamics, hints of backstory, hints of character dynamic backstory, hints of future plot points -> my cream and butter, my creme de la creme

this show hits all of my weak points. yeah, i can tell this was made early 2000s but that does nothing to hinder it. i am giggling, gasping, and sitting on the edge of my seat.

when mr. uppity shareholder man found out about his room being bugged, i was so worried because the plan was going so well and i really wanted to see this guy fall. AND THEN WHEN THE FBI CAME TO ARREST HIM??? HELLO????

but yes, very great pilot, i will watch episode 2

this utami person looks like an absolute badass. any matches you'd recommend to someone unfamiliar with her work?

You’re damn right she’s an absolute badass :D And heck yeah I can give you some recommendations. I consulted with a few friends to make sure I didn’t forget anything. Some of these I haven’t seen but they came highly recommended. I’ll try and give a helpful rundown where possible :)

In no particular order…

So the unequivocal best match Utami has had is the 5.5* classic with Syuri. It’s LONG, and it may not be a good one to jump in with first, but definitely keep it in your back pocket. It’s 5.5* for a reason. (x)

Alternatively, Utami had a much shorter but all-killer-no-filler match with Syuri in the Gold Rush PPV last year. Really great match between two of the best to ever do it. (x)

Utami vs Mayu Iwatani for the IWGP semi finals. Again, it’s just two fantastic wrestlers giving it all they’ve got. (x)

Utami vs Tam Nakano in the 5 Star GP. Good thing about the 5 Star is the short time limits, so if you need good intro singles matches, they’re a great place to start. You'll also get to see Utami Nakano. (x)

Utami vs Saya Kamitani for the White Belt. I think this was better than the singles they had for the Red Belt, but I think that might be sentimentality for me. I’d only just gotten into Stardom and this was the first match I was HYPED for and watched live on PPV. It’s still a great match, and considering Saya and Utami are partners, coupled with Saya’s unrelenting desire to complete her one goal of besting Utami, it’s a great dynamic. (x)

Utami vs Momo Watanabe in the Oedo Tai/Queen’s Quest best of 5. This is DEFINITELY just me but it’s one of my all-time favourite matches. It presents Utami as an underdog against a heel that she bitterly hates. It’s only short (it's only the first 20 mins, don’t let the 1hr video length scare you) but it’s great if you want to see Utami fighting uphill. (x)

Utami vs Mayu Iwatani for the Red Belt. I haven’t seen this match (I keep meaning to) but I have it on good authority it’s a banger. Annoyingly this match doesn't exist in isolation, just a part of a whole PPV, so skip to 1:56:08 to get to it. (x)

Utami vs Maika for the Red Belt. Maika has been determined to make Utami her rival and these two put on a killer showdown if you like the power fighter vs power fighter style. (x)

Queen’s Quest vs Oedo Tai cage match. This is a massive storyline match that is the culmination of the increasing drama between Saya and Utami. I wouldn’t recommend it until you’ve seen at least some Saya/Utami stuff before (heck, just take a look at the tags on my blog as a crash course lmao) otherwise you’ll miss out on The Feels lol. (x)

Following on from that, when making this list people said I should include Aphrodite matches (that’s the team name for Utami and Saya), but from the matches I’ve seen personally I couldn’t think of One Match that stands out. I got a vote for their match against Konami and Jungle Kyona for the Goddess Belts, which I haven’t seen but really should, so I’ll put that one forward. (x)

Alternatively, since I haven’t included any Goofball Utami moments in this list (except Utami Nakano), the match between Utami and Saya vs Gokigen Death and Riho is a vibe. Utami is madly crushing on Riho at this point and Saya (who has been in love with Utami since Day Dot) is smarting about it. (x)

Last but not least, her debut match against Jungle Kyona is one I haven’t watched but heard good things about. A way to show you she’s been kickass from the start :D (x)

The Crossover We Needed

Women’s sport in England had been gaining traction and with both rugby and football becoming more and more popular the top players had become a perfect marketing option. Ridley was the Captain and the scrum half of the England rugby 7’s team, she had been asked to feature in an interview with one of the Lionesses. Chloe Kelly was incredibly excited to be the face of the Lionesses for this interview, she had seen the England 7’s team take home their very own European Championship, she was in the stands cheering them on with her family. But she couldn’t make it obvious to the girl that she was going to meet.

Chloe showed up in her Lionesses training gear, she looked over to see a 5ft10in brunette with dimples and green eyes standing there wearing a red tank top showing off her biceps and blue running shorts that exposed her toned legs. Chloe’s eyes raked over the girl as she walked over, Ridley looked over at Chloe and quickly checked her out, very impressed by the smaller girl’s muscle tone. “Hey I’m Ridley.” The taller girl held out her hand to shake Chloe’s. “Hi, I’m Chloe.” They shook hands, trying to pull away at the socially appropriate time. They stood next to each other as they were given a brief of how the day was going to go. Firstly they would do an interview together then do skills for each of the sports to see who would win the overall challenge.

They sat across from each other as the producer handed them a stack of questions, Chloe read hers out first. “What football team did you follow as a kid?” Chloe looked up at the other girl’s face. “Um, I go for Manchester United actually.” Ridley let out a laugh and looked at the girl across from her. “Oh so you are a red?” Chloe raised her eyebrow. “Through and through.” Ridley had a small smirk. “Gross.” Chloe pretended to gag, Ridley laughed at her reaction. “Hey, at least I follow football. I was at Wembley when you scored that banger in the Euros, saw the celebration and everything.” Ridley smiled proudly. “Nothing better than someone with some appreciation for the world game.” Chloe smiled softly.

Riley was up next to ask a question. “Do you follow any rugby teams?” Chloe thought for a moment and smirked. “Saracens. They are my local team from when I was growing up. Pretty sure they are top of the ladder in the women’s too.” Ridley rolled her eyes. “We are one point behind with a game in hand. We could be top of the ladder after next weekend.” Ridley replied quickly. “Oh so Gloucester-Hartpury is going to win the league?” Chloe crossed her arms over her chest. “We certainly could. When we do you have to come present the trophy I think while wearing one of our jerseys.” Ridley laughed.

“What is your favourite memory?” Chloe looked at Ridley intently. “Probably winning the European Championship in the Sevens for England. It was the first time I captained the country and being able to lead us to win was phenomenal. You?” Ridley smiled fondly at the memory. “Mine would definitely be the Euros win. Being able to score a goal that won us the whole thing was crazy, the most incredible thing I have ever done.” Chloe smiled wide. “One of the best sporting moments for the country I would say.” Ridley looked at the blonde across from her. “I think your Euros win was just as special, especially scoring two tries.” Chloe said softly. “You watched?” Ridley leant in slightly waiting for the answer. “Yeah, my family loves rugby almost as much as they love football. We all went to watch England completely dominate. Even better that it was a home tournament too.” Chloe relaxed as their conversation continued.

There was some casual flirting during the whole interview with both of the girls promising to catch up again the following week when they had a lunch event for England’s sporting elite. Chloe laughed at Ridley’s jokes and gently touched her arm, Ridley tried to hold back the massive grin and blush that was making its way up her neck to her face. Ridley returned the favour of making the other girl blush when she ran her fingers through her hair making her biceps flex, Chloe’s eyes locked on the muscle straining against the rugby player’s shirt.

Once the interview portion was over they headed out to the field, on their way their conversation continued as did the flirting. Chloe gently bumped into Ridley when the taller girl teased her about the way she took penalties and the time she got hit in the face by Katie McCabe at a throw-in. “Oh my god shut up! I saw you get absolutely destroyed by the New Zealand Captain last year, you seemed too busy looking at some of the other girls.” Chloe laughed and this time it was Ridley’s turn to bump into Chloe. “Hey what can I say? Blondes seem to be my weakness.” She winked at the striker next to her as they got to the challenges.

The first game was a rugby passing drill, there were four targets lined up with four balls across from them, Chloe grabbed one of the balls and threw it to Ridley who caught it easily. “We should make this interesting. Want to make a bet?” Ridley looked at the blonde. “Sure. When I win, you have to give me your training shirt. If you somehow win, I will give you my shirt.” Chloe said confidently the two shook it and they both smirked at one another. Chloe tried to throw the first ball into the target and missed completely, she let out a groan and pouted after she missed the second one. Ridley smiled and handed Chloe another ball. “Just relax, try twisting your shoulders more rather than your hips. Nice and tight core.” Chloe listened closely and did what the girl was saying, she hit the target right in the centre on the last two shots. She jumped into the rugby player’s arms who spun her around cheering. “We might just be able to convert you into a rugby player.” The two laughed together and Chloe smacked Ridley’s arm gently.

When it was Ridley’s turn Chloe just stared as the ball was thrown with minimal effort into the targets. Each movement had been practiced a million times and it definitely looked like it, the muscles flexed in her arms and Chloe was unable to do anything but watch. There was part of her that would have loved to know what else those muscles would be able to do to her, maybe even how they would go lifting her up and throwing her down on a bed. “Four from four, easy as you like.” Ridley’s voice snapped Chloe out of her trance. “Okay, show off. Now its time for football.”

The two walked over to four footballs set up for a crossbar challenge. “Let’s see how you go superstar.” Chloe smirked and stepped back for Ridley. The brunette looked at the crossbar then back at the footballs. “Oh man, haven’t kicked a ball in ages. Promise you won’t laugh.” Chloe nodded and motioned to the balls. “I promise. Now show me how to do it.” Ridley took a deep breath as she lined up for her first kick, it wasn’t the best but she was close to hitting the bar, she groaned and threw her head back setting up for the next ball. Her next two kicks were unsuccessful making the girl frustrated, on her last kick she glanced the crossbar and fist pumped. “Finally!” Ridley cheered and turned to the blonde who jumped on her in celebration. As Ridley put her down Chloe bit her lip as she stepped back. “Sorry just got swept up into it.” The striker said softly. “Don’t be.” Ridley stood back for Chloe’s turn. The striker made it look easy, she hit the ball so sweetly that it was hard for Riley not to stare at the girl in front of her. “Wow.” She said out loud as Chloe hit three of the four balls against the crossbar. “Now that was impressive. I think you win, you got more in rugby than I did in football. You easily win.” Ridley held out her hand which Chloe immediately shook. “Good game.” The two laughed as the video cut.

They walked towards the changerooms to get into more casual clothes for the rest of the day. Ridley had no sooner walked in and her shirt was off exposing her abs and toned back along with her perfect arms. Chloe stared obscenely at the girl in front of her, she forgot to listen as Ridley held out her shirt to Chloe. “A bets a bet.” Chloe took the shirt from the scrum-half and swallowed hard. “Congratulations.” Ridley smirked knowing that the girl was struggling to focus. “Th-thanks.” Chloe finally choked out, Ridley pulled off her shorts and grabbed her jeans, sliding them on right in front of Chloe who was almost drooling. Ridley pulled on her oversized acid washed black shirt and a beanie. “You okay there Chloe?” Ridley walked closer to Chloe who was still standing in the middle of the room. “Yeah. Sorry. Just got distracted.” Chloe looked up at the taller girl. “By me?” Ridley moved a piece of hair from Chloe’s face as their eyes locked. “Maybe.” Chloe said and leant in to kiss Ridley, the rugby player closed the gap as their lips finally touched. Ridley wrapped her arms around Chloe’s waist and lifted her up as they kissed, she leant her against the locker door and deepened the kiss. The build up of tension during the day finally leading up to them getting what they wanted. Their makeout session was cut short by Chloe’s phone ringing, her agent was on the other end wanting to know if she was almost ready to leave, Ridley tried to distract her during the call kissing along the blonde’s neck. Chloe blushed and pushed Ridley away as the call ended. “You are a bad influence.” Chloe gently kissed Ridley and took off her shirt, it was the scrum-half’s turn to stare at Chloe as she got changed. Chloe put on a white crop top with some blue jeans. “I guess I will see you next week?” Chloe looked down, Ridley handed her a phone. “Can I maybe get your number?” Ridley asked somewhat nervously. Chloe smiled wide and put her number in Ridley phone, locking eyes as she handed it back. “I will see you next week.” Chloe kissed her cheek gently as she left.

Over the week the two were texting most of the day, sending some pictures of what they were up to during the day. The day of the sport lunch Ridley took her time getting ready, putting on a navy blue suit with no shirt underneath relying on the jacket to stay where it was so she didn’t flash everyone around. Ridley walked into the large function room, looking around for anyone familiar. Chloe spotted the rugby player immediately, she walked over and touched her lower back. “Hi.” She said softly, making Ridley turn around. “Holy shit.” Ridley blurted out as she saw Chloe in a low cut red dress that finished above her knee, Ridley’s eyes stopped right at the striker’s chest. “Eyes are up here Ridley.” Chloe stepped closer and lifted Ridley’s chin so they were looking in each other’s eyes. “You look phenomenal yourself.” Chloe tugged gently at Ridley’s suit jacket covering what Chloe wanted to see. “Thank you gorgeous.” Ridley kissed Chloe’s cheek and put her hand on her lower back. “Are we sitting together?” Ridley asked as she looked around. “No sorry, I am on the football table and I think you are with rugby. Come see me after?” Chloe grabbed Ridley’s hand, getting her focus back. “Yeah I will come get you.” Ridley kissed Chloe’s hand as they both walked over to their tables.

During the lunch, Ridley kept looking over at Chloe, causing some of her teammates to give her some light teasing as she stared at the blonde. Chloe received the same treatment as she glanced over at the brunette. “Who is that?” Georgia asked, motioning to Ridley. “That is Ridley, she is the captain of the England rugby team.” Chloe couldn’t help but blush as she mentioned the girl. “Well, she is certainly interested in you Chloe. She’s very pretty.” Georgia smirked, Chloe snapped at Georgia. “Yeah I know she is. Stop looking over at her.” Chloe turned back to look over at Ridley, who was looking back at her slightly concerned. Chloe gave a small smile and walked towards the bathroom, Ridley rushed to follow behind her. As soon as they were in the bathroom Ridley grabbed Chloe’s hand. “Hey you okay?” Chloe nodded and kept looking down. “Georgia said you were pretty and I just kind of cracked it.” Ridley blushed and put her hands on Chloe’s hips. “I am only looking at you.” Ridley leant in and kissed Chloe gently, leading her against the sink, the blonde wrapped her arms around Ridley’s neck and pulled her as close as possible. “After this, come around to my place its only ten minutes away. We can hang out and I will make you dinner.” Ridley offered softly. “A date?” Chloe asked hopefully. “Yes of course. I wanted to ask you out last week but didn’t want you to think I was going too fast.” Ridley blushed. “What after we made out?” Chloe laughed and Ridley blushed more. “Maybe.” Chloe kissed Ridley again and smiled. “As soon as this thing finishes, I am dragging you out of here.” Chloe smiled looking at the taller girl. “We should go back to our tables before people thing we are having sex in here.” Ridley said softly and they begrudgingly rejoined their tables.

Okay decided to do another "rounding up my quick fire thoughts on stuff from Raw having seen it on Hulu" thing (I think I actually got like, most of the matches this time and Sami's segment, but missed whatever thing occurred with Liv and Dom/any other backstage segments that might've happened that didn't make YouTube [though I did see Becky's awesome pre-match promo on YouTube but they cut what came before she started talking], and I think they cut the middle chunk of the Women's Battle Royal out which is boo.)

-Jey and Damian's segment was great, we're gonna eat with that. Also Jey telling Damian to tell Rhea he said hi was for me and I love it.

-JD, my least favorite Judgey Boy tbh, y'all are on the thinnest of ice with the screwups, Damian in charge, and Finn MIA this week. You aren't even on the merch after all these months, man, you're expendable.

-Darn it I don't want DIY drama I want my boy Johnny to thrive. (Their match with Awesome Truth was really good though I'm happy with it)

-Also it was just tag team/faction drama/breakups(?) season Monday, dang with The Imperium stuff.

-Although rip to Vinci but Alpha Academy hurts me more ESPECIALLY CHAD BEING MEAN TO OTIS HE'S YOUR NUMBER ONE GUY!😭 I could excuse suplexing Sami out of his wife's arms in his hometown but I draw the line at insulting your former co-tag champ and your other teammates.

-Also I like their explanation for why Gunther isn't going for the title for a while/focusing on King of the Ring first. It's nice that he's not falling into the old "This Random Guy Was Slightly Mean To Me, Forget Any Title Ambitions I Need To Beat Him Up" trap.

-Drew was on fire as usual but yeah I agree the burger line was a no from me. Did like Sheamus's comeback and their "longtime friends" convo. I'm down to see what The Once And Future Banger Bros Bring Baby.

-And The King of the Ring bracket is looking stacked already. I do also want Xavier to get a proper reign after the last one he deserves it but my heart still belongs to the hypothetical Jimmysweep.

-Not too surprised they focused mainly on Sami's title woes but I do admit I was hoping for a "yeah, Chad sucks, Cathy. Listen, I'm kinda stuck on my boy Kev nearly getting MURDERED three days ago..."

-I found it a little funny Ricochet and Santos matched despite being on opposite teams. (Also oooh Damian you wanna turn face or tweener so bad oooh.)

-I did see Becky's promo on YouTube (love her getting a walk and talk like Sami and Kevin. That's squad goals). Thought it was cool and I loved her encouraging Maxxine. Lord knows that girl needs it between the Chad stuff and Candice's bullying.

-Hulu didn't show me Chelsea getting eliminated but slipping back in because officials didn't see. Heaven forbid women do anything.

-Really thought Liv was gonna take it (her gear was cute too). But I think this might be the last straw before she super officially snaps for realsies.

-I'm definitely in the camp of "Becky doesn't really need another title reign, she's almost done it all and what she hasn't (like Queen or Ms. MITB) she doesn't really need at this point either" (love her though)...

...but I also felt her last two solo title reigns managed to show some love to some of the women who don't usually get shots at the gold (Pre-beating Ronda!Liv and Doudrop!Piper getting shots on PPV against her while Bianca was kept from the title, using the NXT Women's Title like it was Raw's unofficial women's midcard belt), so who knows? Heck, we don't even know if she's gonna have a long reign, so... *Shrug*

Yoooo another banger episode! Hot dang this feels great, y’all. ✌️ I’m really impressed with their balance of dramatic/emotional scenes with comedic scenes in this episode. It was so fast paced, but somehow they got everything in. Once again seeing the connection of the 118 is all I want. ❤️ That’s a team and a family. This was Athena, Bobby’s, and Hen’s episode.

Now my initial Spoiler Thoughts for 7x3:

Bobby is a badass! Hahaha Athena saying she wishes Buck could see Bobby do the rescue, and Bobby wishing he’d seen Buck do it instead.

Wes! My man!! So good under pressure helping Bobby and rescuing Norman. And then… yeah I cried when Wes died. What didn’t help was him telling his captain to tell his wife and kid he loves them. =(((((( Another lovely touch was Bobby holding Wes’s hand before he had to leave.

Corey’s family is like Home Alone with Kevin being left. Twice. I enjoyed the chaotic comedy the family gave though.

Norman believes in Bobby. <333 Norman is such a great hype man for Bobby and Wes, but he’s also a bit of a savage with Lola. Well deserved.

Huh, Tommy ready and willing to help people he knew from the 118 to uh, go above board? Well to do a rescue that wasn't sanctioned or whatever the term is. Nice. He’s got a sense of humor too, which I certainly appreciate.

Loved the comedy in the helicopter both times. Honestly great comedic timing from everyone.

I like that Eddie will have a better memory now in association with helicopters.

Really impressed with the balance of heavier moments with lighter moments, as I said in the non spoiler part, but it’s true.

Dude I was getting misty eyed when the chopper was coming down because they saw the flare. Wtf. 🥲

"Need a lift?" Eddie and Buck saving Bobby and Corey! <333

Don’t think I didn’t miss the blocking on that rescue ship. Buck and Eddie standing next to each other, then Tommy being in the middle. Then Buck doing a “thank you for the help” shoulder grab. People can interpret that however they please, but it really did just look like grateful thanks from Buck to Tommy. And btw, I’m not opposed to Buck and Tommy possibly being romantically involved for a time. Like, I don’t feel strongly about Tommy one way or the other right now, but he seems like a decent dude I guess. While I’m still hoping for a Buck and Eddie endgame, it’s perfectly okay and fine if Buck dates other guys before dating Eddie. That’s life, yeah? (...although I am wondering if Buck will still have a bi awakening, but may not date someone. like. i really don't know, but who knows? maybe Buck and Eddie will still be the first guys they're with. we'll have to wait and see.)

And Lola is back to jail? Prison?? Probably prison this time. I did appreciate that she owned up to her big mistakes and apologized to Norman.

The Bobby and Athena reunion hug? That was sweet.

Oh so Hen will not get in trouble. I still feel like she’s going on some kinda arc this season, something to deal with… maybe some biases and how she makes calls? Someone else may have phrased this better than me. In any case, I’m curious where it’s all going for her.

Yay more Hen and Maddie scenes! Heh, and Hen thanking Maddie for - I can’t remember the phrasing now, but basically for being a gossip with Chimney haha.

Athena and Bobby just. laughing at the stress of it all once back home, then…. *sexy music starts playing* 👀 Heyyyyyy. 🤙

Oh! Before I forget. Once again Buck and Eddie were, I think, in every scene together. Never separated. Others in fandom have spotted this *gestures* thing going on this season so far. Any scene Buck is in? Eddie is with him. 👀 Okay. 👀 👀

Another really fun episode. Again I was so happy to see our 118 family talking/calling/communicating with each other. That’s when this show is strongest, when they’re together and not separated *cough* unlike in season 6 and some of season 5 *cough*. Anyway!

Hm, I do think this 3 episode story could’ve been 4 episodes if they had a longer season. But given the time constraint, I think they did a great job. =))

More Team Sky/Nightsky Headcanons including two new ideas :)

Also I wanted to note, if you ever have questions about the world Team Nightsky exists in, please don’t be afraid to ask! I love getting questions about this so much, it actually means the world to me

During one of the fifteen assassination attempts on Nikey, the attempt was a faulty one, only planning to push him off the highest sky island they could get him on. But as Nikey was falling to his doom, he felt almost in complete serenity for the first time in years, that along with the sickening rush he got from the possibility he could die right then and there.

He ended up making a habit of just diving off of the sky islands with no equipment whatsoever and waiting until the last second to receive help from any of his pokemon. The longest he’s fallen would be about 10 minutes, and he’d never felt anything like it before.

Wings are used as metaphor for being free from any and all troubles from life. They’re often seen on graffiti in the ruined regions along with messages like “Just a glimmer of light is all we need.” “May the light of the sun shine upon you.” “The light will set us free.” “May the man of the dark be punished by Arceus itself.”

Nikey has earned himself the nicknames “The Man of the Dark” and “The Shadow”

After Nikey hadn’t returned in months, the world above the smog began to fall into shambles. The admins of Nightsky tried their hardest to keep everything in order, but half of the team wouldn’t even listen to them, they wanted Nikey. But they would never see Nikey again. After Winona heard he hadn’t come back, she began to become even more worried sick than she already was. She was tempted to use the Time Machine and go find him herself, but she would be leaving behind the people who need her

Thinking about a BANGER ASS BATTLE between Winona and Nikey to decide the fate of the world. Maybe they made a deal that whoever won would have control over the world forever. Winona knew she was foolish to accept that but she couldn’t let this opportunity go to waste. BUT WITH THE POWER OF DETERMINATION. She fucking wins and it’s BEAUTIFUL. Anyways yes I am listening to Hopes and Dreams as I’m typing this how’d you know?

Winona has had several dreams where the smog had cleared and everything had gone back to normal. She could physically feel in these dreams and see like she was seeing with her actual eyes. It was so… disorienting. And when she wakes up from these dreams, she has to kind of sit there and process that, no, everything is still the same. And it really just takes a toll on her. She almost prefers being asleep if it means she can have those dreams.

Winona has epilepsy BY THE WAY because I said so. If nobody else is around her she has her Pokémon help her through her seizures. If she’s at work it’s usually the colleague she has a giant crush on who helps her

I don’t even really need to outright say it, but yes Nikey and Winona both have depression. Nikey has pretty severe anxiety as well and probably ptsd?? Yeah there’s no way he doesn’t.

Nikey and Winona both have hard times sleeping without somebody else next to them, since they were so used to sleeping in the same bed. Winona has like a cocoon of pillows and blankets around her. Nikey is too afraid to have anything that could even resemble the feeling of human touch on his bed as he’s afraid it’ll remind him too much of Winona. (They were married for like… 18 years?) oh yeah btw Mikey was like 38 before Nightsky. He was 43 when they got divorced. He’s old LMAO

I don’t know if I already mentioned this but it is VERY cold under the smog, like, freezing cold. Most people’s clothes are very warm and thick, either that or windbreakers if they can handle the cold. It’s very rare to see anyone in even just a regular long sleeved shirt without something else over it.

Also, I always love to think of Mikey/Nikey and Winona as more than just human, thinking of them with bird wings is always fun and it provides for even more interesting story elements. Like, it’d be fun if Mikey didn’t even know he was more than human and just discovered it one day and had an entire crisis over it. He just becomes a Harpy out of nowhere and he’s having so much trouble with it and his newfound bird-like instincts and he’s so afraid for Winona to find out that he locks himself up in their room for hours before Winona convinces him to unlock the door. She’s shocked at first, but she’s nothing but supportive. She sits on their bed with him, him having his knees to his chest, not even being able to look at her, and she just sits there petting his wings, comforting him. And it’s just so sweet and I’m totally not crying you are :’)

His wings are very soft/smooth and Winona very much enjoys petting them, they’re pretty massive wings too. If he were to wrap them around himself you wouldn’t be able to see him. It makes for very nice and warm hugs :)

ALSO I think it’d be fun if Winona did time travel, but also fucked it up so badly she got sent to another world. A world where instead of Mikey being the leader of Team Sky, it was her, and she had traveled to past Paldea. Perhaps when she travelled in time and realities she had broken the machine and could not go home, and would need to enlist the help of her past self to get back home. And the whole time she’s just looking at the past version of herself from another reality and is like… “You don’t know how lucky you are.” But not in a malicious way, more in a yearning for what she’s lost kind of way.

Past Winona ends up telling her about Mikey and ends up going on like a 30 minute ramble on everything she loves about him and Nightsky Winona is just smiling looking at her like <:) AND IT SJUST AUGH. And she tell her “Make sure you hold him close to your heart forever. He’s irreplaceable after all. Give him all the love in the world you can muster, okay?” And she’s just so so so sad. Nightsky Winona ends up getting the chance to tell past Winona about where she came from and past Winona is just like “Oh my god?? Are you okay???” And Nightsky Winona just smiles and looks at her like “No <:) but I had people I loved that were helping me get through things I wouldn’t be able to even fathom going through on my own. They were the lights in my life, and were there for me no matter what. They’d do anything they could to help me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that.” And it’s just AGAISGDISHEIEHGHGH.

and Past Winona asks her if she ever misses her ex-husband, and she just nods silently and doesn’t say anything for a minute. Past Winona feels a little awkward for bringing it up, but then Nightsky Winona ends up going on a whole rant about everything, far longer than she would’ve liked to, but she’s been holding it all in for so long for the sake of the other people in her life that it’s difficult not to go on and on and on about everything. She misses her husband, so dearly, and just so badly wants things to go back to normal with him, but she doesn’t know she’ll never see him again literally ever and it’s just so heartbreaking to listen to her talk about this.

She feels so bad for just dumping all this on her past self, but she can’t help herself. Luckily both of them are great listeners so neither of them really mind these long rambles. By the time she’s done she feels like she’s lifted the weight of the world off her back a little bit. Her eyes are sore and red and her body is shaky, but she hasn’t felt so relieved in years.

Past Winona just gives her the best hug she can and says “I know you can get through this, you’ve done amazing in the years so far, it’ll be back to normal soon, I can tell. I know you’ll see Mikey again one day, and maybe by then he’ll have a change of heart? I can’t promise that, but I can promise everything will be okay. I know I don’t know the half of what you’ve been living through back at your home, but what I do know is myself, and by extension you. You’re resilient, and as long as you have the people by your side, you’ll be okay.” And Nightsky Winona is just like <:’) and it’s SO SWEET.

When it comes time for her to leave Past Paldea, Winona gives her past self one last hug and says “Thank you for listening to me, it means the world. I know you’ll continue to be the amazing team leader you are, and I wish you the best in that regard.”

and Past Winona is just like “Of course. Just, remember what I told you okay? Even if it’s just one thing. It’s going to be okay.”

And Nightsky Winona just nods and smiles. “Thank you.” She says. “I think it’s time for me to go back home, it was a pleasure to meet you.”

And she just walks towards the Time Machine and looks back at her past alternate reality self one last time, and waves goodbye. Her past self does the same, and Nightsky Winona walks into the light of the Time Machine, sending her back into the future, and her own reality.

ANYWAYS that’s all canon now by the way :)

Also I realised just how much the song Isle of Flightless Birds fits with the entire world of Nightsky and The Sun’s Children. Like, it’s amazing, PLEASE go listen to that song if you can!

I will not deny that Nikey has very much sadistic traits to him and his habits. It’s scares him sometimes, but he brushes it off most of to time. I won’t go too into detail because those words are being saved for someone much more deserving of those. Someone that I hate with all my heart :)

You held your head in your hands as you watched George lie down in the grass. His first points was something you thought you'd celebrate but they were forgotten about because George actually had a chance to not only get points, but also win so he obviously didn't want to celebrate. You decided to walk out back and look for him and surely enough you did. He sat up panting and drenched in sweat, looking absolutely gutted. "George?" George looked up when he heard your voice and smiled softly. He walked over to you and whispered into your ear. "Darling, I need to go somewhere where no-one else is." You nodded and walked back with him to his driver room.

You sat down on the sofa and watched him as he scurried around the room putting his stuff away. "Are you doing alright?" you asked. George huffed. "No but what can I do?" He said making his life form into a flat line almost. "You can stop blaming yourself for one." you piped up. "It wasn't your fault you had to pit three times." George walked back over to you and sat down beside you. "But I let everyone down." You're heart was aching for him as he blamed himself for everything that went wrong. "George, its alright. Its not the end of the world. You'll get other opportunities for podiums." George lay his head down on your lap and looked up to you. "I don't know. If I gave a performance like that, why would any team want me?" Okay, this was kind of getting annoying now.

You grabbed your phone and turned on Spotify, looking for one of George's favourite songs. "Here we go." You smiled looking at the song "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran. "Right, bare with me for one second." Saying that George was confused was understatement. He really hadn't a clue. You grabbed his Mercedes jacket and threw it on over your shoulders and tidied your hair into the cap too before you sauntered over to George and sat next to him. "What on earth are you doing?" he asked. "Sorry about my friend. He tends to tell everybody that I'm a driver. I think it's to make himself look better or something." you said in your best George voice. George looked confused but realised quickly that it was probably one of the very first things he ever said to you. You were going to recreate the night you first met. "But yeah, I just finished Silverstone today. Great track. Didn't do too well but hey, gotta take it one race at a time." George grinned at the impression. "Are you seriously doing this?" You nodded. "Love this song. Don't you? It's a banger."

"Yeah, it's alright. Don't know why they're playing it." George responded, reciting the very words you had said the night you met. "Dunno either. How about we go and dance?" George pretended he had long hair and pushed the invisible strand behind his ear. "I can't dance and besides, I don't know who you are." he said. You broke character slightly by his actions but quickly jumped back in. "I'm George Russell, ART driver for 2018." you said shaking his hand. "Y/n Y/l/n, student for....2018." George replied. "Now how about that dance?" You and George stood up and began swaying from side to side along with the music. You didn't speak a single word, you just danced hand in hand living in the moment. The song ended and you both sat back down. "So can I get your number?" you asked. "You've already got it you muppet!" George laughed. "Stick to the script!" you said. "Oh right, I don't know. Will I get a date out of it?" George asked. You smirked. "You'll be getting a date either way."

"And scene." George laughed. "What an actress." He said clapping his hands. "Why thank you and I hope you don't mind but I'm going to keep this jacket because, damn it suits me." George chuckled at you. "You always make the situation better, don't you?" His eyes locked with yours as you were stuck in a loving gaze. "I tend to have that affect on people, especially you." you replied leaning your chin on the palm of your hand. "Well I love you for it and don't ever change, for my sake anyway." Your heart skipped a few beats whenever he told you he loved you so now wasn't any different. George began to close the gap between your lips when a knock came from the door, interrupting thee beautiful moment. "George? Ready for interviews now?" The Mercedes PR officer called in. George groaned and turned back to youu apologetically as if he was already saying sorry for having to go. "Well go on. I'm not going anywhere." you told him. George smiled and pecked your lips softly. "I'm counting on it. I'll see you later then." and with that he walked out of his driver room and went out to do his media stuff.

Into the Reverb (Kylo Ren/Reader)

Chapter Nineteen

Kylo puts his turn signal on as he waits at the red light as he ponders. He has already been on the phone with Hux for over an hour today, confirming album release details and current streaming numbers. Miracle has been out for only forty-eight hours and there are already over three million streaming downloads.

The band had decided to drop a simple video with the song, calling in a favor. Even though this isn’t their first PR tour, it’s been distinctly different from prior releases. The team at D’Kar is so different from First Order, not overwhelming the band and letting them set the precedence.

His car pings at him, notifying him of another message adding to the already excessive list. He hoped it was from you since you had not responded to his morning text. It was unlike you to not but he told himself that you were just busy. You said you had an important meeting with the Sand Scavengers today before this afternoon’s meeting. Kylo rubbed his mouth subconsciously, still able to taste your kiss from when he dropped you off earlier.

He tapped the screen to open the message. His heart dropped a bit seeing it was not you, but he quickly smiled when he saw it was from Noah. Dude the song is bomb! Congrats!! He already knew the song was a banger, but it made him happy it met his friend’s high standards. Thanks man. As the light turned green, he began merging onto the I-5. Traffic in LA was brutal as ever for a Wednesday morning. As he idled, he turned up the radio, hoping to drown out some of his swirling thoughts.

That was “Life” by Small Wars. Their newest album Explosions is rocking up the rock charts. It’s a bomb ass song isn’t it Kay? Hell yeah it is. Their tour dates have already been released too. It's amazing to see these bands who recently departed First Order really excel. But now the most requested song of the day, Miracle by The Knights of Ren. This song broke the frickin’ internet when it was dropped Sunday night. We can’t wait for the new album…

Kylo huffs as his car creeps forward. While the guys in Small Wars were assholes, he was happy to hear of their success. He smirks at the thought of old man Snoke looking over his dropping sales, red faced and forehead vein pulsing. You deserve all of it you asshole he thinks, pushing that man out of his head.

He clicks the screen sending you a quick text. Hey baby girl hope you’re doing okay. Lemme know if you want me to pick you up something. See you soon. He wants to say more but he knows he can’t. He can tell by your eyes you aren’t ready yet.

He knows how he feels, and he has caught himself more than once to not say those words. He’s never said those words to another person before, but he knows he wants to with you. He’s not scared by your anxiety disorder. It makes you you and he has accepted that. He has lost his heart to you, and it hurts sometimes to watch you not be in the same emotional place as him.

He can only hope that when the time comes, when it does come out of his mouth you will feel the same. He is stronger with you in his life, a more complete human with you by his side. He sees you two becoming a power couple in the music world. But to do that he has to make sure you’re protected until you’re ready to face the media. The only thing he’s nervous about is your response to it all.

As the traffic picks up, he switches the radio to his Spotify account. He smirks to see you have added some playlists. He will gladly let his music and Netflix algorithms be altered if it means you stay in his life. I’ll just get her favorite smoothie even if she doesn’t respond, he decides as the well-known picking of Texas Flood flows through the speakers.

“Bala, guys stop stop” you say through the microphone. The Sand Scavengers were in the studio and just were not listening. They thought this was apparently just a random jam session, but you knew their contract was hanging on by a thread. Phasma herself had a video conference with them about how they are not fulfilling their end of their contract and had to buckle down. Maybe that’s why they are not listening, you think, because they know they will get dropped soon.

A stress headache pounds at your temple. “Guys, c’mon start from the top please” you say, trying to keep the frustration out of your voice. You hit the record button as they start to play. You keep one eye on them as you check your phone. You smile at the text from Kylo. He’s so thoughtful but your stomach turns at the thought of consuming anything right now.

Even though he’s been so busy the last two weeks, you can tell he is making a conscious effort to make sure you knew you were still a priority. You think back to the day last week when the band were busy filming their music video. You stayed at your own place, claiming it would be too difficult to coordinate between your schedules. He called you immediately after filming wrapped up, wanting your opinion while editing was done. You ended up staying on the phone until three in the morning.

You hear laughing come through the speaker. You look up to see the guys behind the glass laughing like fools as their bass player humps his guitar. You sigh exasperated. “I think we are done here guys. C’mon back and we can review.” You say curtly, shutting off the recording.

You didn’t notice Vic had joined you until you turned in your seat. “Hey, you’re early” you say, attempting to hide a wince. His eyebrows crinkle a bit as he looks at you but his eyes shoot up to the recording room door as it opens. “Fucking bitch” one of the band members grumbles as they file into the lounge space.

You fight rolling your eyes, knowing that it’s unprofessional. You’re better than that. You shift yourself in your chair, taking another sip of your water. As the band settles, your eyes shift to Vic.

A glower paints his face, matching his tense body posture. You could see his muscles twitching as crossed his arms over his chest. It wasn’t often you have seen Vic angry but seeing it on your behalf made you feel a bit special.

“Ok guys, I know you talked with Phasma. We have a deadline we need to meet. I’m going to set up an editing session for tomorrow and recording sessions Saturday and Monday. Does this work for you all?” you ask, wanting this conversation to be over.

Bala looked between his mates, Vic and you and sighed. “We can make it work” he says, his eyes shifting “but you know we can’t just crank out bangers like them.” Your breath hitches as he nods his chin at Vic. You look over at him, hoping your look alone makes him not make a scene.

You could have a pin drop in the room. Your eyes shift between them uncomfortably. Vic smirked maliciously. “Well gentlemen, that’s the difference between us then” he says as he walks out the door.

You fight a smile as you see the sullen and shocked looks on their faces. “Ok, well see you all tomorrow at 10 then. See you then, yeah?” you say trying to defuse the tension. You get nods in response as they leave the studio room. You rub your temples as you hear the door shut.

You shut your eyes, focusing on your breathing. You rub your neck, hoping to bring down the tension. You jump at the feeling of a large warm hand covering yours. You know who it is instantly based on his smokey spiced cologne. “Hey Ky” you whisper. “Hey baby girl” he whispers back, his hand moving yours to your lap. “You ok?” he says as he starts to massage your neck and shoulders.

You instantly melt at his touch. “Yeah, just a rough session” you say, fighting back a hiss as he hits a tender spot. “Yeah, Vic told me” he says, his fingers continuing their magic. “Don’t worry about it Ky, it’s over and done with. Plus, I think they are jealous of you all” you say, turning to look at him. You see his plush mouth tip up slightly. “Well, we are pretty bad ass but it’s their fault if they don’t listen to your brilliance” he croons. “Hmm always such a charmer” you snark, gaining a chuckle from him.

“Well baby girl, I bought you a smoothie whenever you are ready for it” Kylo says as he helps you out of your seat. “Thanks babe, but not right now” you say pointing at your temple. He hums, grabbing your bag and tossing you the ibuprofen bottle. You smile at his thoughtfulness.

He smiles down at you, eyes crinkling and dimples out. His expressive amber eyes are full of something you can’t quite name. He moves slowly, tipping your chin up to him and placing a soft kiss on your lips. It's simply amazing how this hard core rockstar can be so sweet with you. “How ‘bout I take care of the recording room and you take the lounge so we can go to the meeting together?” he says, giving you another soft kiss. “Sounds perfect” you reply, running your hand through his messy waves.

You hear him hum at your touch as he steps back from you. “Damn these men are pigs” he grumbles as he looks around. You laugh at his dramatics. “C’mon big guy get working” you say smacking his bicep as you grab the trash can. “Yes ma’am” he says, tapping your ass as he walks into the recording space.

Hook vs Samoa Joe main event, ok I'm totally not nervous at all. This video package feels like it's a ppv. Ok but Hook's voice 😍 he needs to talk more. His slow walk oml.

Christian Cage vs Dustin Rhodes where did this match come from. I hate how Christian walks and I don't know why. Nick Wayne though 😍. Dustin's theme reminds of his Goldust theme. I honestly think Christian is going to win. Christian got yeeted over those steps oml. I feel like Dustin has been wrestling for 100 years, but I might actually cry when he retires. Updated favorite commissions as of Hoshi wo Tsunagu + general commission opinions

Ichika - Made to Order. Overall her commissions are fine, though I prefer the VS versions of both Pulse of the Meteor and Hoshi wo Tsunagu (the tuning man... the tuning). Still not the biggest fan of her

Saki - Teratera/Show Off. Commissions overall are great. Stella is a close second place for me; I prefer the VS version of From Tokyo; and Aioi made me cry, it's beautiful

Honami - Still very close between Stage of Sekai and Flyway. Not a huge fan of Hare wo Matsu, probably because I'm just not big on Orangestar. Then again I'm not super huge on halyosy and then we got Flyway and it blew me away so. Edge still goes to Stage of Sekai though

Shiho - Voices. Yuyoyuppe is one of my favorite producers. However, Shiho literally does not have a bad song. You could put any of hers in the top spot and it would be correct

Minori - Tenshi no Clover. Worldwide Wander is right behind it. Dream Place and Teammate are both fine, but the latter especially really isn't my thing. I'm not a huge HoneyWorks fan. My opinion on Dream Place may go up when the full version is released

Haruka - If. Ai no Material is dragged down by MEIKO, and Float Planner is fine. Don't have much to say about her, but I do hope her next song is better. Her commissions tend to be more just good rather than great imo

Airi - Momoiro Key. Icedrop and More! Jump! More! are also very good. Still don't like Parasol Cider. Something about it just annoys me and I don't know what. It's just not for me

Shizuku - It's between Metamo Re:born and I Am, We Are. Color of Drops is fine, and Luka's tuning is surprisingly good in it

Kohane - Hitsuji ga Ippiki. Very funky, very Kohane. Beat Eater is also fantastic, and I think I'm in the minority of people who actually genuinely like Flyer. It makes me happy

An - Gekokujo/Giant Killing (yes that is the official translated title at least according to Apple Music). So... this song and event leaked around the time of my grandmother's funeral. I'm still grieving the loss, but this song has helped so much. Awake Now and Machi are both fantastic, and Forward is fine, though I want more of the guys

Akito - Kashika. Can't wait for the full version in three weeks (as of posting this). Akito is like Shiho, though; you could put any of his commissions as the top one and they'd be right. Let's hope that continues

Toya - Rad Dogs. Still hasn't been topped. Mirai is good though, and I recognize why people like Utsuro wo Aogu, even though I still don't like it that much. Hoping this Hiiragi Magnetite commission is his and it's good

Tsukasa - Mr. Showtime. I do not like Tsukasa--or WxS, really--that much. It's the character voices that get me most of the time. However, HitoYama made a banger. I can't stand Tondemo Wonders because of the sound effects, and I prefer the VS version of Eighty-Eight

Emu - Hoshizora Orchestra. Yeah I'm revising my opinion there. I cried when I listened to it with the lyrics. Made me feel warm. Once Upon a Dream is criminally underrated, and Niccori Survey Team's Theme is rightfully loved

Nene - Hakoniwa no Coral. Hot take, this is her first good commission. I do not like OSTER Project or kinoshita much, so that really knocks down Nijiiro Stories and Glory Steady Go for me. I wanted to like Hoshizora no Melody so badly because I like Polypho, but I can't stand them speaking in rhythm rather than singing, and I think MEIKO's tuning is some of the worst in the game here

Rui - What Kind of Ending Do You Want? I honestly flip between his songs though. He's like Shiho and Akito; any of them ranked as the best is the right answer

Kanade - Samsa. Don't get me wrong, I love both Kanade Tomosu Sora and Tricologe. But... KAITO. And Teniwoha. But yeah you also can't go wrong with Kanade

Mafuyu - Engeki. This song. I cried. Enough said. Jackpot Sad Girl is one of the best early game songs, Saisei is criminally underrated, and while bug is overrated and overplayed, it earned that. You can't go wrong with any of her songs in my book, though I'm aware I'm in the minority there. Still don't get the hate for Saisei though

Ena - Nomad. Just... beautiful. But her other songs are also great and again you can't go wrong. Do you see a pattern here?

Mizuki - Kitty. So funky. I think you know what I'm going to say here based on the last three though. Also don't get the hate for kimi no yoru wo kure. Like, at all

First impression

Why are they letting a prisoner serve in the court. Bro, wait, he's kinda hot. Those bags under his eyes, holy shit...

And then he goes like

……………Hmph. ……Enough jabbering. Get on with it, already. ……Must we continue to fritter away time like this? An opening statement… would be pointless.

Look at those sweet, sweet ellipses. Truly, he is the edgelord of Ace Attorney 🖤 I think what I remember the most was just being really excited to hear his speech bubbles. And then WOAH, he has a completely unique one of his own in addition to the objection!! Damn...

Not to mention, he calls the judge His Baldness and it's still funny to me. King shit 👑

Impression now

Is he the best prosecutor in the series? No. It's factually impossible to top Edgeworth, who literally has two spinoffs to himself that I consider to be better than most mainline games (aside from aa3, because that game is a banger). And of course, Miles has some of the most remarkable character development in the main games, too. You can't not at least appreciate the guy, and Simon just can't top that.

The change in writing teams (and the stupid no-spoiler policy that supposedly exists when it really should not) was pretty damn harmful to aa5-6 as a whole, and is obviously part of the reason for my answer as well (even if it in part led to Simon's existence, since he is almost completely disconnected from og trilogy events)... not only did it make the whole air of the games feel off, it also led to huge disconnects between 5 and 6 on their own.

As a very recent (to me) example, a common criticism against my latest favorite case (6-4, that I just finished a few days ago and then my friend did a celebratory art spam for me, heheeh) is that it ends up ignoring the obvious development Athena went through (both on her own and in relation to Simon) in aa5. And, like. Even though I did just say I love the case (enough to consider it ~top 2-3 cases in the series), and Simon+Athena (more on them later, I guess) are my favorite parts of it... I have nothing to really say against this criticism.

I understand that Athena's newfound power and confidence from the end of aa5 needed to be sacrificed in some way to show the delicious mentor \ student+found family dynamics (after all, what is there to teach someone who's already found her footing?), but I also can't deny that the erasure of the character's past accomplishments and developments was quite extreme. The funny thing is, I think reverting Athena's knowledge\confidence levels could serve as a great way to show the kind of threat the new prosecutor (Nahyuta. The ourple one.) presents, but... by now he's been around for three whole cases (counting 6-4) already, and even then, Yuty's writing, imo, is much weaker than Simon's ever was in the 5th game (because they didn't overtly rely on catchphrases while writing Simon, smhhh).

As for the point of this whole ramble... Simon physically can't be the best prosecutor, because, unfortunately, neither games he stars in had writers that could get their shit 100% together. There we go.

But... is he my favorite prosecutor in the series? yes, unless whoever stars in Great Ace Attorney manages to impress me even more. I know a lot of it is recency bias (I'm pretty sure I beat the original trilogy sometime in 2019-20, then I beat aa4 last year, but I only just met Simon in aa5-6 this year), but I'm going to be honest. You can't not appreciate Edgeworth, as I said, but for me, I think, most of the time appreciation is as far as it went with him. Now that I think about it, it might be part of how I prefer latching onto characters with clear gaps and flaws (flashes neon arrow signs at Simon and Nahyuta) more than well-written obvious fan favorites?? But yeah, either way, Edgeworth is cool and all, but not even while playing his games did I feel anything blorbo-esque towards him.

Meanwhile Simon, the motherfucker that he is, wormed his way into my blorbo storage room entirely too fast. There's something about his design, based entirely around black and white while still having just enough intricate details, that just stuck with me (it even serves Taka well, cause his brown feathers stand out even more in such an arrangement!). And then there's his theme (that bass, dude...) and voice (still mad we apparently don't know who did the work. Whoever it was, they did so well...) Not to mention, the way he words things... simultaneously somewhat flowery and most of the time efficient and straightforward... yeah, maybe there's a reason he had me that quickly, ngl.

Favorite moment

^ just general one-off noteworthy stuff I managed to dig up. I dunno, his particular flavor of Jerkish Prosecution is so enjoyable to me, like I said🖤 Especially combined with the voice impression his speech bubbles give off... 'I relish the chance to cut down a great man' like, SIR???

^ actual three favorite moments. The first is important foreshadowing (knowing it's himself he talks about is so 🥺... Of course, he's not going to make it easy, because he convinced himself the suffering was deserved...).

The second is simultaneously ridiculously funny and a memorable power move (he really said 'Just walk out! You can leave! Even if you're convicted!'), while also being very much justified, since what he's responding to is almost useless testimony from an arrogant kid who thinks he's a genius because he gets straight As. You really can't fault Simon for having had it with all that shit 🖤

And the third... well, it's honestly nothing much, but it's memorable to me anyway, because a) HE HAS A POINT and b) it reminds me of Robin... one of blorbos ever... also every chance I can take to see a forward-facing sprite of him is A+

And these are just my favorite shots of him from the games themselves. It was always funny to me seeing the bright confetti from the not guilty verdicts over his plain ass grumpy face, and that last shot from 6-4 had no right to make him look so good, smh.

Idea for a story

I think basically everything pertaining to him could make for a nice story in the right hands.

Were all these stories he was telling about his fellow inmates real? How much more ridiculous could you make them, given this is AA we are talking about? Did he get to meet characters that were given guilty verdicts and imprisoned in previous games?

Literally everything with him and Athena. I don't know, just plop them into a room together and study them like bugs! Mentor+student? Parental figure+a young girl finding her place in the world? Exploring a feedback loop from her mom trying to help her with psychology and science and Simon being inspired to pick it all up for similar reasons? Stubborn emotionally scarred man who operates by tough love+equally determined ball of sunshine? Boomer+zoomer? Flowery persuasiveness+honest and straight-to-the-point assistance? Yeah, they got all that going for them and more. It's fucking wonderful. Let me into the alternative universe that lets them have their own game PLEASE...

What\who exactly convinced him to adopt the ridiculous samurai\swordplay aesthetic? I mean, it works, but... what if he is secretly also a Steel Samurai fan or something? :p

In general, how did being told by Miles fucking Edgeworth that you're allowed and basically have to get back to work again to have a chance at basically anything in life feel? Must have been quite a day, huh?

And then, of course, how did he end up adjusting to having freedom again, having all but convinced himself that cold prison cells were his lot in life? At least his job didn't actually change, so... maybe he would plunge himself into work?

What kind of shenanigans did he let Taka get up to, and what misadventures did they have together when they first bonded? What about him having an interest in birds in general? Would he be... jealous of ornithologists?

Food - be it soba or something else. Is he a fancy connoisseur at heart or would he just take whatever he's given? How would he react to having to try something new - like, say, a burger from Nahyuta? lol

This is the obligatory 'ugh I love blackmadhi' bullet point, except I don't actually have anything coherent to say, I just think they work well when you rotate them in your mind together. Two souls from opposing cultures being equally fucked by law and yet working hard in their own ways for the sake for returning to the ideals of pursuing the truth, in the exact same position, but with wildly different and not fully compatible methods... YEAH...

What could be said about his relationship with Aura? And what exactly did he think of his sister's connection to Metis, with her being a mentor and just a presence in his life in general? At first glance, they're just siblings with their bond taken to the extreme and tested by unfortunate circumstances, but exploring that tragedy and what they had before then is what makes this dynamic interesting to me. I just like sad shit, I guess... And then there's this off-handed quip from Phoenix about them that's just way too funny:

Unpopular opinion

Unfortunately, since this is not Nahyuta we are talking about, I can't just 'haha, the unpopular opinion is that I actually like him' out of this one... I probably could, given that Simon's still getting called an edgelord (derogatory) straight out of deviantart in 2022, but that's cheap anyway...

Um... I guess I'll just restate what I was saying about 6-4 earlier: him having to be there to support Athena by itself is not a bad thing, it was just handled poorly in part because of the weaker writing and in part because of the baffling decision to try and focus this game on like five characters at the same time... they spread themselves too thin :(

The whole point of having characters go through games-long journeys in the series is that they never truly stop learning, not even when they're actually considered accomplished. This case was a great opportunity to show this again, but it wasn't used to its fullest potential.

Favorite relationship

As per the 'idea for a story' bullet: him and Athena as found family and naturally opposing personalities still being tightly united across time and space :D You just can't go wrong with what's basically chomp lite with a huge deal of devotion and perseverance (that cannot help but show itself through the rough words and treatment) on the side

^ literally the essence of what I love so much about their writing together. Just seeing 'yup!' and 'ye gods' next to each other is taking me out 🖤🧡

And him and Nahyuta just like. In general. Do you think two prosecutors can on purpose kiss... maybe...

Favorite headcanon

He was going to cut his hair again after being released, and the only reason he didn't was because Athena has too much fun playing with it\burying herself in his hair. She would also counter his propositions with 'but Siiimon it's so fluffy... 😭' every single time, and it was too powerful for him to handle. So, long hair it is.
