I think Thacker deserves more love tbh. I know he replaced our darling criminal beloved Ned but this man is a BITCH in such an enjoyable way. He loves nature, hates people, took off into the wilderness to go get possessed by one half of the gay planet, and puts pepperoni in his trail mix. Kiiiiind of iconic lets be real.

My Favorite Things About Every Arc of The Adventure Zone (so far)
I recently finished TAZ Ethersea and really want to just talk about all of the lovely characters that the boys have given us. Feel free to add your own in whatever ways you see fit.
Fair warning, this may be long folks
! There are potentially spoilers for every arc ahead so read at your own risk gang !
Tumblr media
Balance
Magnus: Magnus Burnsides’ whole journey throughout the campaign is wonderfully heartbreaking. Protector of a family he did not remember who also harbors a heartache for his second family that he lost. Travis was teased for having a bible of a backstory but I think in Magnus’ case it was entirely essential. So much of that background informed everything about Magnus and his constant protection of everyone (and every animal) around him makes so much sense narratively as well as mechanically and I think Travis did a phenomenal job.
Taako: Taako is a very deep character with a lot of complexity that you wouldn’t know based on everything about him and I do not want to downplay that at all, however, my favorite thing about Taako is simply the aesthetic and the vibes. A king, an icon. We love to see it.
Merle: My favorite thing about Merle is his capacity for love and goodness. He always choses the path of love and joy and its incredibly important. For goodness sakes he asked the BBEG if they were friends. A sweetheart.
Favorite NPC: Angus McDonald
My favorite section of this season in particular has to be Eleventh Hour, the aesthetics were great, the concept was super cool and we got so many cool moments out of it.
See You Later is my favorite track from the season followed by Purple Worm.
Balance is such a labor of love and you can feel it through every part of the story and it never loses any luster no matter how many times you relisten to it.
Tumblr media
Amnesty
Aubrey: Aubrey Little is a badass and that is incredibly important but I think what I like most about her is that she screws up a lot. I don’t mean that I like that she’s a failure, what I mean is that she isn’t perfect. A lot of the time when playing games like these, there is a tendency (for some, certainly not all, we stan flawed characters in this house) to create do-gooder characters that have perfectly mastered their skills and perfectly save the day. Aubrey is not that. She makes mistakes all the time and recognizes that. The scene where she asks Janelle to take her magic away hits me every time because she thinks, and to a degree rightfully so, that she is a danger to those around her and she would rather give up her super cool magic fire powers than continue to do that. She continues to try and learn how her powers work and how to properly use them so it works out, but the moment was there. Aubrey Little has these incredible powers at her disposal but she is only human and I love her journey to pieces.
Duck: I relate to the tired vibes harder than I probably should for the age I am but that’s probably okay. A reluctant chosen one is an incredibly interesting idea that I am super proud of Justin for coming up with. Duck’s destiny scares the living crap out of him and his reaction, though strange in a narrative format, would most likely be how a regular person would react to being given a grand cosmic destiny where you have to actually fight evil monsters. Duck is amazing and I love him.
Ned: Ned is hilarious but also, his entire arc during the Shapeshifter hunt was incredible. The letters still make me cry to this day. Its always super fascinating when a character who appears to be (as much as you can in an RPG) comic relief at the beginning, get incredibly serious further down the line. Ned cared so much about his friends and I am so glad that Griffin gave Clint the opportunities to take over the narrative for a little while to give us those speeches.
Thacker: A goofy guy with some really weird snacks. Thacker was not Ned that is for sure but, he was a very nice inclusion. I always like explorer characters and Thacker is interesting, having explored somewhere dangerous, suffering the consequences but coming back with valuable information for the team.
Favorite NPC: Barclay
My favorite hunt is the Hunt for The Beast, it is the first one and there is so much else in the season to love but the aesthetics and vibes of this one were incredible. My favorite section of narration comes from the end of the third episode! “Which looks up at the sky, and then, with otherworldly malice, back down at the three of you...”
Amnesty’s and Graduation’s theme songs are tied for my favorites, they both make me smile so much.
The Amnesty Lodge themes are some of my favorite pieces of music ever. Never has any music ever made me feel as comforted as those two songs do.
This season’s vibe, setting, aesthetics, characters and inspirations are exactly my niche interest so, as much as I love all of the seasons of TAZ, Amnesty is by far my favorite.
Tumblr media
Commitment
Nadia: We love a girl boss.
Kardala: I like the research that Justin did into creating the character, and in classic Justin fashion, made her the funniest character in the arc.
Remy: He’s such a little guy. Remy is a springy little spiderman-esque guy who just wants to save the day.
Favorite NPC: N/A
Commitment is not my favorite of the seasons but I do like what Clint did with it, the story was unique and interesting.
Tumblr media
Dust
Errol: A werewolf who wanted to president? Are you kidding? I love this little guy! I really liked that Errol lived in town but didn’t necessarily fall in line with the werewolf pack there. Him, instead, having a street that he looks after and protects is such a nice image. That and his whole attitude and semi-awkward personality, Errol was very easily my favorite of the bunch (not that I didn’t love the others)
Augustus: Augustus was an excuse for Justin to be hilarious with a ridiculous voice and I loved it.
Gandy: Her enthusiasm for many of the situations that arose during the investigation was really nice.
Favorite NPC: The Banshee
I loved this one! I continue to hope that they go back to Dust and even though that is unlikely, I still really liked the ideas behind this mini arc. A western, taking place at night, where werewolves and vampires make appearances, along with a whodunnit mystery taking place all at the same time? Sign me up! (Once again, an arc very much within my niche)
Tumblr media
Graduation
Fitzroy: A king, honestly. Fitzroy is hilarious and such an interesting concept for Griffin to play. The voice and the vibes are immaculate and I am so proud of this boy’s progress. Also, he’s ACE!!!
Firbolg: He’s so 🥺. That’s the best I can articulate my thoughts.
Argo: My boy! Argo is such a sweet little guy who, just like his fellow roomies, did not deserve any of the bad things that had happened to them. Argonaut Keene is an absolute sweetheart and I wish him the best post canon fics. His voice and aesthetic are great. Also, he’s the first PC rogue! My class (and favorite subclass)!
Favorite NPC: Althea Song
School campaign!!! These boys deserve the very best and I loved every second of their journey. The entire campaign I was either aww-ing at the sweetness of the moments or cheering on these boys’ hairbrained schemes.
Tumblr media
Ethersea
Devo: Devo’s accent is wonderful and I also really like how concerned he was about taking care of Beck and Skittles as well as his speech about saving the animals for future children to see and learn about. That speech in general got me to tear up a little bit given the state of our real life world.
Amber: I love sharks and I do not wish to see any harm come to them, however, the blink shark hunter thing coming back from the prologues was very funny and a welcome inclusion. It brought us some really cool moments with said sharks and I appreciated that. I also really liked how strong she was in her own opinions. No one was going to make her move. Not to mention the vibe checks were always awesome.
Zoox: Zoox’s journey of self discovery was very cool. I love that our little Brinar ended up being something all their own.
Favorite NPC: Ol’ Joshy
What I think was most interesting about this season, beside the looming fear of anything being out there in the depths of the ocean, was that the boys made this world together. This was not something that one of them made for the purposes of the others playing in it. They played a separate game to make the world they would be playing in. It was intensely collaborative and I think that was really cool.
Cannot wait to see what’s next!

Hi Merry, its your girl here to talk about the most iconic bi4bi couples, Jessie and Tom (and no I will not take criticism about them being the best!).
So yesterday my mum and I watched Notting Hill, and as I watched it, I couldn't but help to compare it to Starstruck. I'm not sure if you've watched Notting Hill, if you haven't feel free to ignore the rest of this message, but it was really an interesting experience to watch it and think about Starstruck.
Obviously both Starstruck and Notting Hill have very similar premises, and Emma Sidi has talked about the similarity. But one of the things that I found interesting (other than the scenes that paralleled) was the fact that Tom + Jessie and William Thacker have similar mannerism, but more importantly their humour is also very similar (like their quips and what not). HOWEVER, maybe this is me being support my fellow brown actors, but in my opinion, both Tom and Jessie are SO much more charming and funny. I also feel like they have better chemistry then Julie and Hugh. Sorry to all the Notting Hill fans out there. Its pretty wild, because the plots are very similar.
I think this kinda goes back to something that you and Deah may have talked about in the new ep of GayV where you talked about in terms of adaption. Something something the idea of taking something we know and adapting it for a specific audience.
Also, I think its hilarious that in Notting Hill William watches Anna's movies and seems to enjoy them/seeing her. Whereas in Starstruck, Jessie thinks Tom's movies are shit 😭
I am WITH YOU ON EVERYTHING!!! I don't like Notting Hill and never really got what the fuss is about but I've never really liked Hugh Grant as a romcom lead. Again, didn't get what the fuss was about. the only romcom I like him in is Two Weeks Notice but I feel like it's because he's meant to be unlikable in that. I love Julia Roberts as a lead but fully agree she has no chemistry with Hugh or at least not enough. To me, Tom and Jessie in Starstruck a) have more chemistry and b) feel more real and find a better balance between the reality of that kind of scenario and the romantic fantasy whereas I think Notting Hill just doesn't feel grounded enough. Maybe it did at the time, but not now. In terms of adaptation, I think Starstruck is very much for people who love romcoms who are little disillusioned with how clean they are. Starstruck offers an intentionally messier and thus, more loveable homage to these tropes and popular stories and that's why it's so great!!!!!!

Where to watch Notting Hill
Besides great music and iconic athletes, the ’90s were home to some of the best romantic comedies of all time. In 1999, two titans of the genre – Julia Roberts (Ticket to Paradise) and Hugh Grant (The Gentleman) – collaborated on the British rom-com Notting Hill. In the film, Will Thacker (Grant) is a divorced London bookstore owner and Anna Scott (Roberts) is a famous actress. When Scott walks…

The 63, Part 2:
11. Divine: A common thread in my research on the inspirations of Thacker was finding myself seeing so many debaters and researchers on the theological, from John of the Cross, Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa, Thomas Aquinas and Robert Fludd, though Fludd was far more of reformist of theological ideas in his time, they regardless all share one idea in common, that the divine and experiencing the divine is not so easy to describe and explain, god can still be understood deeply by these authors, but the divine as an atmosphere and study on the phenomena of the divine is far muddier and always comes down to arguing between what is to be considered experience of the divine and how would one even know they were considering the divine if god is all and nothing? These questions on the metaphysics and the eventual semantics on the divine that come from going down that rabbit hole are fascinating to me, the idea that someone could experience a physical connection with the noumenal and be in the presence of experience beyond the body is not something to tread over lightly as a subject all within itself when discussing the divine beyond mere concept. It can sound like either the greatest adventure into finding abhuman euphoria, or a conversation on complete and guttural existential dread in theory, but I won’t further ramble on this as it’ll just get too complicated for a couple notes on a blog post.
12. Sam: This image is based on this image of the Rick Owens model Sam Colette:
Tumblr media
Source: https://twitter.com/rickowensonline/status/1160940082276249601
My version is of course more mutative and the inverse of Sam's actual appearance, seeking instead to take the shimmer of light and make them into dimples and holes in the face, this image and ‘Tyrone’ (another model of Owen’s portfolio) as well as all the other fashion icons referenced in my work all refer back to the same notes featured on the piece ‘Masc’, just something about alternative representation in contemporary fashion excites my imagination really and can’t explain it deeper than that without over analysing something that I study out of joy rather than for academic purposes entirely.
13. Tyrone: The original image that inspired this piece is currently missing from all my collections and so accept instead a short summary of this piece’s original inspiration, this piece was inspired by a headshot Rick Owens model Tyrone Susman, and due to his long hair obscuring his face, I thought to again invert the image and have the hair represent the hollowness of vanity, the sprouting bud as representative as the potential when attempting to represent introspective ideas on the human image and expression etc. All the pieces in this 10 are more caricaturist than most over collections in the 63, only because I must have been taking alot of interest in subversion and explicit surreal themes at the time of drawing these, who knows? All I know is my phone is bricked with references of alternative models and fashion for inspiration, and of course I happen to lose one reference in the pile, reminds me to organise my references for the next collection of works.
14. Unclowny: This image is based on someone I have followed for quite a while on IG now, going by Unclowny Resemblance:
 https://www.instagram.com/unclowny_resembalancee/
Their work is of constant inspiration to me due to how immensely odd and camp it is, but I chose to draw them in particular, as they seem to follow in the steps of Leigh Bowery and Judy Blame, with their own style being traditionally masculine enough, and yet constantly toyed and experimented with in the efforts of creating all kinds of fresh and exciting faces, it just always sends me into a drawing fir seeing their work on a regular basis.
15. Leigh: Leigh Bowery is arguable the most underground fashion figure you could think of, who was also able to infiltrate high art by becoming a muse of Lucian Freud, infiltrate and revolutionise contemporary mainstream trends all in the same life, he was the embodiment of self-metamorphosis and towed the line between the uncanny and the depraved more often than not, it’s not wonder we still see an immense amount of love for him in the alternative fashion scene, and contemporary drag culture and performance art, as well as the aesthetics of Rick Owens, just would all not exist if it were not the trail blazers like Bowery who pushed the dim forward with every new transhumanist look.
16. Gavin: This image is a caricature of Gavin Turk, I saw him popping up on my feed quite regularly and so his little beady eyes and bulbous head seemed fit for caricaturing, I have nothing malefic to say about him or his art, I just drew him like this because I had been revising Hogarth at the time and was in the mood to make a constant appearance into one I could warp and play with in my own practice, may send this to him soon too, see what he thinks of contemporary artists like me after the YBA generation had their time in the sun.
17. Beard: This is another subversion of a Gavin Turk image, when he was photographed with a monstrous beard, I lost the reference again so that’s why it isn’t featured here. It’s just another surrealist collage of motifs to make abnormal version of the original, which was only a profile shot of Gavin with a huge beard is all, it shows my imaginative ability to make something this ridiculous and ornate from something that would typically bore the braincells out of your head.
18. Junk: In a more serious tone now, I find myself becoming more of a luddite the older I get, but I have to be a double agent for the sake of my career to exploit the strings of contemporary digital media just to be featured and to have my work shown, otherwise I always find myself agreeing wholeheartedly with the Unabomber's ideas on accelerationism and the eventual downfall of humanity coming from a dependency on technological advancement over re-establishing man’s connection with nature and a naturalist view of life altogether, I see most appliances as junk and unnecessary, physical property and actual connections between people will always be more important to me than relying on streamlined and digital ideas of how to operate your own life, but I won’t get in the way of those who do, because when the chips are down it’ll be them to go first and their disciplines built on sand will wash with the current, either learn to live naturally or die a husk of the animal nature made you to be, that’s always been the opinion of satanists. And even though technology can be tempting and represent a world without suffering, no one really wants a utopia, they just don’t want to be hassled by other people and yet want all the attention they can stomach to feel special, and in a utopia of pure technological dependency there would be chaos in minutes of its construction being finished. As people like Epicurus always argued, you need to learn from pain and independent action and consequence to grow and mature as an individual, dependency on anything, especially technology, is just another gilded cage that’ll imprison you so long as you don’t learn how to live without it. This is already a topic that is being debated to death and I’m sure that won’t change for the next thousand years, it is after all the new world religion as argued by Heidegger, as the result of a godless world framed by Nietzsche, meaning we outlived god and now we have a new cultural supremacy and dependency over the horizon.
19. Ache: This piece is more overtly about masochism and the experience pain as visualised by a thumb being filled with tacks, or atleast a thumbish looking face and neck, I drew this to make something quite Baconian, something is purely about pain in a literal and most obvious sense of fact.
20. Chelsea Girl: This is probably one of the only joke works that I made, bar drawing Gavin Turk as a wormish bulb, it’s based on the stereotype of Chelsea women having horse mouths and talking like their chewing on their own teeth, I think it’s enough of a reference to my own culture and country that it would look  like just the average Trevor Henderson-esque cryptid to foreign audience. Only to typically be accompanied by some fluff backstory to add atmosphere to the goofy looking face if I were to do it myself though, reminding me thusly of all the hype years ago for slender man, the entity that started this whole craze of analogue horror in contemporary horror media, and even he was just a goofy allegory for creepy men in suits who hide in the woods, hardly the scariest thing I could think of sticking in the woods to scare children, I’m sure a cryptid of jimmy Saville would be better but that’s probably just my sense of humour talking now.

mcyt movie night headcanons!
(cc!) Dream , George , Sapnap , Technoblade , Wilbur , Eret , Fundy , Nihachu , Quackity , Karl
requested? yes / no
pronouns used : they / them
cw! light nsfw (Dream) , mentions of jumpscares (horror films)
Tumblr media
Dream
he is a big fan of a good old netflix and chill session
something about the warm, dark living room only illuminated by the moving images on the screen, your silhouette barely visible under a blanket and whatever snack you’d found on his cupboard on your hands gets this man in a raunchy mood
he’ll pull you to his lap or slide next to you and start pecking at your neck
“But it’s just getting to the good part”
you stretch your neck to give him more room anyways
“Oh we’re about to get to the good part”
you chuckle and bite your lip to stifle a sigh as his lips begin to trace your jaw
the movie gets paused is what I’m saying
he refuses to buy any snacks from the candy shop  whenever you do go to the cinema
“It is unnecessarily expensive!”
“You have twenty million fucking subscribers!”
“BUT FOUR DOLLARS?!”
he has the most creative ways of smuggling sweets
it started with a classic tote bag
it’s become sort of a game
once, he bought the most ridiculously bulgy jacket and wore it in scorching florida weather solely for the purpose of hiding crisps
he laughs easily at movies and his wheeze has made you get kicked out of a movie theatre at least once
will talk about his favourite parts of the movie for hours after it’s finished
will laugh whenever he thinks about the funniest parts for days
George
(sort of George with a film buff s/o)
he doesn’t talk during movies and actively dislikes people who do
will complain if he doesn’t like the film but only in quiet whispers and not if he suspects you are particularly enjoying it
you made him watch a Tarkovsky film one time
he swears he didn’t fall asleep
he did
but he tried his best <3
can’t choose the movie for the life of him so you always end up having to pick
every time you try and analyze color symbolism he’ll chime in
“I’m colorblind”
before you can finish
you bait him honestly
he likes listening to you talk about your favorite movies and all the films you want to show him
he’ll look up facts about your favourite directors and will make fun of your least favourite ones with you
makes a great snobby-tarantino-fan “you’ve not known real cinema until you’ve watched pulp fiction”  impression that never fails to make you cackle
he is not a fan of horror films
you tried to make him watch one once
“I don’t really like horror movies but you said this one was good so- WHAT IS THAT?!”
turned it off immediately and you ended up watching the hobbit
Harry potter marathons are a must
he can imitate maggie smith’s accent to perfection
Sapnap
you watch anime together
I don’t give a fuck if you don’t like it
he doesn’t either
he’ll make you watch it
he has good taste though, so you end up enjoying it
cuddles with Sapnap cuddles with Sapnap cuddles with Sapnap
movie playing on the tv, your head in his chest and his hand in your waist, blankets wrapped around you and the AC running just a little bit too cold = his absolute definition of happiness
you binge watch shows in one sitting and then get sad when they’re over
he always burns the goddamn popcorn
daily movie nights!
you order in and eat a late night dinner in bed
Your pick monday, wednesday, friday
his pick tuesday, thursday, saturday
a full on debate on sundays trying to figure out a good middle ground
Whenever the movie runs late and you end up falling asleep, he’ll turn the tv off and quietly pull the blankets over your body before kissing your forehead in the sweetest way imaginable
he yells at the screen
he loves watching horror movies but gets jumpscared easily
“Awww are you scared baby?”
“Shut up y/n I’m only holding you so you don’t get scared”
“I won’t :)”
“...I’m not letting go if that’s what you’re fucking thinking”
Technoblade
(take a shot every time popcorn is mentioned and pass out)
one of your first dates was actually a movie date
he turned and whispered in your ear whenever a clever wip popped in his head and his commentary was so funny you had to bury your face in your hands so your laughter didn’t disturb the other people in the theatre
he talks during movies, he can’t help it
"heh?!"
he doesn’t like cinema popcorn and will exclusively buy chocolate
you didn’t get it until the day he made you try his trademark-techno-popcorn and wow
“holy shit this is great!”
“I know”
he’s completely ruined popcorn for you
“please don’t ever leave me, I don’t think I’ll be able to eat normal popcorn after this”
“wasn’t planning on it”
he is secretly into romcoms
you watch movies in bed, laptop propped in his legs and an obligatory bowl of popcorn in your arms
he plays with your hair for the whole time
you hate-watch bad movies all the time and your chests hurt from laughing by the end
he can easily memorize entire scenes and will repeat them to you in a totally monotone voice
It’s great
has never cried during a movie, is dreadfully proud of himself for it
sometimes he’ll get distracted and just stare at you, movie reduced to white noise in the background
“you’re so pretty”
Wilbur
makes dinner for you whenever you have a movie night
his snack game is kind of weak though, as much as I hate to say it
water and dark chocolate only
if you think he doesn’t insist on rewatching hamilton at least once every two months you are wrong
he is a goddamn hamilton kinnie and he likes the fucking songs okay?
constant change of cuddling positions
you made him sit through the entirety of the twilight saga “as a hate watch”
he now quotes it on a daily basis (never on stream, chat would eat him alive)
“Whaddaya mean team jacob? He’s a glorified furry!”
you watch a lot of documentaries
the way he concentrates on taking in every single bit of information is almost more entertaining than the actual film
he’ll tell you random facts he learnt watching the documentary and you’ll have to remind him that you watched it with him
you act out iconic romance scenes and he gets so into it
he can be anything from Jack Dawson to mr. Darcy and William Thacker and it gives you butterflies every time
you’ll stand up whenever characters are slow dancing and dance along with them
You’ve tried to watch shows together but you always end up forgetting or one of you will binge an entire season and
he’s insufferable when he doesn’t like a film but will refuse to change it
he criticizes the smallest details in a way that would make Anthony Lane look like an absolute sweetheart
you dance to the end credits theme
Fundy
(long distance!)
Netflix parties ALL THE TIME
+ discord calls / facetime
you coordinate snacks
sometimes you’ll switch whatever you’re watching to dutch for a second so he can make fun of the god awful translation
most times, you fall asleep together after the movie ends even if your time zones are far apart
you watch entire shows together, the longer the better
four or five episodes at a time
You both get super invested and will have heated discussions about whether rory should have ended up with logan or jess
whenever you talk about meeting up, watching a movie and actually cuddling comes up
he used to be kind of quiet during movies
he won’t shut up now, it’s fun, having his voice in your ears with whatever film you’re watching in the background makes it seem like he's in bed next to you
his voice would be easy to fall asleep to if he didn’t yell so often
he can guess the precise plot of every single horror movie
like word for word, scene for scene
he gets scared anyways
he sent you one of his hoodies once, after you begged for weeks
you wrap it around a plushie or pillow and cuddle it whenever you watch something together
“can’t believe a fucking sweater gets more action than me”
“oh shut up you big baby”
Eret
lots and lots of movie dates
he has excellent taste in films and shows so you let them choose most times
stacking up on cinema sweets and a huge bucket of popcorn when you go to a theatre
buying tons of crisps and candybars when you hang out at home
not the biggest cuddler in this specific setting
would much rather have her arm around your shoulder and your legs up on their lap
you watch award shows solely for the purpose of roasting the outfits
bed/couch absolutely crammed with plushies and pillows
you always make milkshakes together
not smoothies
not frappes
milkshakes
with syrup, whipped cream and a cherry on top
the night isn’t complete without them
you watch a lot of period films
“you’d look great in that”
“who are you pointing to again?”
“doesn’t matter, you’d look great in everything”
(you’ll get them to wear a corset if it’s the last thing you do)
he turns to kiss your cheek every fifteen minutes
Nihachu
you bake cookies before movie nights and decorate them specifically for the theme of the film
you did a horror marathon once
(it may have been a sneaky way to get her to hide in the crook of your neck but we don’t talk about that)
the plate of cookies flew out of her hands in minutes
she got so worried
“but you worked so hard on the decorations :(“
“it’s fine babe, we’ll just eat the plain ones”
she wrapped her arms around you and kissed your cheek so it was totally worth it
the decorations were kinda shit anyways
you watch a ton of coming of age movies and will listen to the soundtrack for days after
she’s so funny during movies
sometimes a character will do something stupid and her remark will be so absolutely stingy both your hands will fly to your mouths and you’ll stare at each other, eyes wide, before falling into a fit of giggles
simping over powerful women with Niki
you have a huge watchlist of gay films and high five everytime you cross one off
cuddling under a huge pile of blankets
switching sweaters
Zuko climbing unto the laptop and pausing the movie at the most inconvenient times
Quackity
he eats dry cereal during movies because he’s just chaotic like that
you sit on the floor with your backs to the couch and eat takeout and drugstore snacks
the amount of times you’ve watched the fucking bee movie
you like watching things in spanish
everything from crappy soap operas to almodovar films
he likes to translate things and can do it super quick so you never really need subtitles
you watch a lot of superhero movies and he has made you watch Adam Sandler’s entire filmography
the floor always ends up messy and cleaning up afterwards is almost as funny as the film itself
sitcoms!
lots and lots of sitcoms
Karl
pillow fort is obligatory
monster energy drinks and a huge variety of candy
microwave popcorn with too much butter
hot cocoa with too many marshmallows
you mostly watch cartoons and 2010’s nickelodeon shows
scream singing the iCarly theme song and hating on tori from victorious
getting really into the adventure time lore
tickle fights when the film gets boring
he takes recommendations from “indie film” tiktoks and you mock him for it endlessly
he has weirdly obscure knowledge on every show you watch
he has a big colección of dvds/videotapes so you get to watch some oldies
he falls asleep with his head in your lap or your shoulder
he gives you a sweater or hoodie to wear and lends you plaid pyjama pants
you quote movies on stream and have ton of private jokes
can you tell I got lazy at the end?
likes and reblogs are always appreciated and have a wonderful morning/day/afternoon/evening/night <3
