More Handplates/Vargas, this time obviously inspired by my holiday request 💕💖💞 I honestly rather like how calm Gaster seems whenever he’s in Edgar’s vicinity, he is a fairly unassuming human haha. Is it because he doesn’t laugh very often? Oh no that’s sad actually haha

I’m not done with Blank Slate Ch. 4 just yet - hopefully soon! - but this lineup stands out to me especially since I made it while rereading Handplates. Specifically after Gaster is pulled out of the Void - Gaster having to face the people he loves who have no memory of him really spoke to me in a Blank Slate way - the scenario of being able to completely start over and have never done anything to hurt your loved ones, at the expense of never having done anything to them, as far as they’re concerned, ah! It hurts so beautifully!! That’s one of the central themes I’m chasing so it was so cool to see in that context! Very inspiring ♥

fan theories, crew member teases and common aus aside, how to you suppose peepers and hater met? ive heard that it was supposed to be huge in terms of their backstory

In canon? iirc they met as teenagers in high scool. I personally like to image they met in first year of college on the cusp of adulthood.

It would allow for more independence/freedom as college students than if they were highschoolers, and would explain how they were able to live in a van on an endless road trip. Then again, WoY is very old school in some respects, so maybe they really did run away together as teens. But, I like to think it was college, or at least Peepers was already in college. Maybe Peepers being so smart, he had dual enrollment in high school? idk

Since it was supposed to be a huge lore drop for backstory, I imagine Hater met Peepers on the watchdog home planet, since that's one way of explaining Peepers' backstory pretty easily. If not on the watchdog home world, it would be at some space academy or something lol.

Either way, I like to think Peepers saw Hater for the ultimate powerhouse he was, day one. Lord Hater fit perfectly into Peepers' galactic conquest plans as the ideal front man. And... Hater didn't make fun of him like others did. In fact, they bullied people... together (insert heart emojis). Peeps was absolutely floored by Hater at first sight, of course, but Peepers wasn't completely gone for Hater just yet. It would take a few years of evil villain routine and getting to know Hater more for Peepers to REALLY fall for him. Being his biggest fan was one thing, but romance was out of the question entirely: he had an evil job to do! And Hater was such a pain sometimes... immature... stubborn... gross... cruel... strong... big... intimidating... powerful... handsome.... Over the years, Peepers eventually realizes that his tool to success was more than an amazing tool... realizing Hater was his everything and that he truly loved the big lug terrified Peepers inside, but he was in too deep to turn back now! <3 gg Love wins in the end, evil be damned lol

On the other hand, I think when the two first met, young Hater was drifting around from planet to planet until he stumbled to that school. Maybe it was just the usual road tripping stop, or maybe Hater was taken in by nice locals and placed in school. We know his backstory suggested he was quite academically skilled, so I imagine school might have had a homey feeling for Hater. Something about academia felt right within his vague memories of his past astronaut life. If it was a college, that would make sense, libraries were probably a great way for Hater to stay warm on chilly nights, too. If it was a high school, I can imagine Hater being the 'cool kid' / 'bad boy' 17 year old playing guitar on the roof of his van and roasting students that walk by in the parking lot lmao. Probably hung around the school grounds because he didn't have a proper place to stay.

From how Peepers talked about the van, it seems like Hater had it before meeting Peepers? I think if Peepers ever asked about where Hater lived/family, Hater would have said he ran away from home. Peepers might have even been inspired to run away with Hater because of that lie. The idea of escaping and starting anew was very promising for Peepers. As previously stated in other posts, Peepers was probably the first person to ever see Hater for how great he truly was, and that will always make Peepers special to Hater. Best buds for life! But don't tell Peepers that, Peepers WILL cry in public. Also, cute eye-guy is cute, extremely loyal, and a great hype man for a sick rock band filled with watchdog army groupies. lol. I can imagine Peepers probably nudged Hater from a bully rockstar route to ultimate evildoer route as a 'better' way to 'be popular' across the galaxy. I honestly think Hater had a lot of rage, but idk if Hater was "blow up a moon, evil cackle, and terrorize millions as they chant your name" rage level like Peepers was. But Peepers can really sell a pitch, and the rest was history.

That, and a few months later a 'totally not a couple' marriage license they got in Vas Legas so they could get an initial loan for the skull ship. Partners in crime AND taxes! Hater has no recollection of this.

I'd also like to imagine, even with Hater having some blurry memories of his previous 'planet of the apes/astro-ape' life, his memories would come back over time. Hater knows a lot, hides a lot, and he is incredibly smart and highly educated. And yet, he lets Peepers be 'the smart guy', because either Hater is too embarrassed to be "a smart nerd" or Hater just wanted to give Peepers something to feel superior about (which is a nice thing to do, but Hater is NOT NICE. HE IS MEAN! BAD!!!! A VILLAIN!!! ...right?). And then Hater roasts Peepers for being a beep boop bop lame nerd bc Hater can't express his feelings correctly lol.

Fr Peepers' reaction to Hater knowing space physics junk will never not be funny to me. I imagine back in the day that realization would have been a mid-life crisis of "oh grob he's SMARTER THAN ME?? SINCE WHEN? WILL I BE REPLACED? HAS HE BEEN PATRONIZING ME THIS WHOLE TIME BECAUSE I AM THAT PATHETIC TO HIM???" but now bc Peepers is so smitten and full of love for Hater it's a full blast of "oh my grob he's actually applying himself for once, I'm so proud, he's the greatest thing to ever exist, I'm so proud!!!!!!! I love him so much, sobbing crying tears!!!!!" LMAO. tfw ur inferiority/superiority complex gets stomped out by your undying love for your sir.

Send Me no Flowers for the WOI game.

This is an AU of Send Me No Flowers but make it Triad.

Due to a very unfortunate series of misunderstandings and mix-ups at the hospital BJ thinks he's terminally ill and only has a couple months left to live.

He immediately calls Hawkeye and asks him to visit and help him. Peg isn't supposed to know, because BJ wants her to enjoy the time they have left together. He needs Hawkeye to help him arrange the funeral, a family grave, and find a new husband for Peg.

This is still the 50s or early 60s like in the original film so the situation for single women including widows is not ideal and additionally BJ doesn't want Peg to be lonely again and Erin to grow up without a father again.

In the process, a lot of complicated feelings between the three of them develop, and a lot of misunderstandings ensue, but instead of the suspected cheating subplot it all ends happy and poly.

Hello hello! Here’s my currently unofficial master-post! My name is Clover, (she/they ig 😕) and this is my main blog where I reblog a bunch of stuff I like! It’s all mostly Wander Over Yonder and Rise of the TMNT, so if you’re not interested I suggest you keep on scrolling. However, if I take a liking to something that doesn’t require it’s own blog, I’ll reblog that as well.

This masterpost is currently made for understanding my boundaries and for organization purposes. I’ll likely update it whenever any of these things change or whenever I wanna add some more 🌟Personality🌟 to the post. Please respect these following guidelines:

Please don’t message me. It’s very very likely I will never respond or I’ll get too attached or something. I’d like for the messages to only be between moots or people I know irl. Speaking of which…

Do not send me an ask questioning me about anything personal. There isn’t really much special about me in real life, especially considering I’m on Tumblr, and besides. This is literally the internet. Things such as my name, age, where I live, who I live with, who I know, etc. All of that is off limits. Please do not expect me to reveal anything of the sort.

This is also not really a “Family friendly” blog. Swear/curse words are very much allowed, but my language is not very “Colourful.” Always refrain from using any swear words that are offensive against a certain group/minority or any slur within that range. If you don’t know what I mean, don’t ask.

In this same vein of thought, I need to mention I AM A MINOR. Anything nsfw is strictly prohibited. I do hope this doesn’t need to be elaborated on any further.

On a more positive note, my asks are open to anyone! It doesn’t matter what fandom you’re in, I’ll be willing to answer anything from Undertale to TGAMM! Obviously though, I will not tolerate anything rude or uncomfortable, and of course there will be no bots in my asks. (Hopefully)

As for organization, everything is split up into multiple different tags for convenience. WOY stuff, however, is for now stuck under one single tag, as this blog started as just an ROTTMNT blog and all the other tags are related to that instead. You can go around and look for what you want by searching each tag in the searching bar at the top of my blog.

My tags are actually pretty unique to this blog! Here’s an example or two: The tag “ew” refers to the ROTTMNT comic called “Emperion Weeping,” and the tag “swanny boi” refers to another Rise comic called “Swanatello.” Idk if that’s the comic’s official name but that’s the one I remember.

I do this for originality purposes and so that it can just fit my blog’s personal style. It’s relatively the same for my other side blogs as well!

Hi I love your AU comic about WOY and Spinel, It has been nice to find some pages more about it... I don´t think that Hater can make Spinel evil or yes? XD

Spinel may have snapped in canon, and at Dominator, but she’s the kind of person that can never be actually evil. I believe that what we saw in the movie was the result of a sort of psychological breakdown, I don’t think she was even in her right mind. Her own actions were confusing to her. This is why, no matter how hard he tries, Hater isn’t going to be able to make Spinel evil. I mean, Hater HIMSELF can hardly be considered evil, he’s just a guy who wants people to look up to him (and a family).

However, when he tries to show her things that real VILLAINS do, Spinel will probably play along with whatever she thinks is fun. Like doing evil laughs and ‘strategizing’ with the little dolls Hater and Peepers use when they’re making plans. But she won’t be actually aggressive, just pretending messing around.

But whenever Dominator proves to be a problem, her attitude darkens REAL quick, and her temper starts showing.

ok, small thing: I was watching a wander over yonder animatic called "the fancy beer" by starteas on YouTube, and I thought 'hey, what if I make a woy au where it takes place at a bar?' and I did. it's still a wip, but I do have roles for wander, sylvia, hater, c. peeps, and dominator.

wander is a comedian, performing around the galaxy, but mostly doing his shows at a bar.

sylvia is a manager at the bar, helping with customers and breaking up large fights.

lord hater retired from villan-ry and is under the 'care' of his watchdogs.

commander peepers works part time bartender at the bar, occasionally helps hater at the skull ship, and is still looking for a full time job.

lord dominator works at a bakery, while contemplating if she should go back to being a villain in a other galaxy or not.

everyone else might have a job and a nice family, but it just depends on the person/creature. (or whatever)

anyways, that was the idea and roles, I'll get more figured out later. ♡

because a virus has chosen to rent me out as a temporary living space i don’t really have the energy to do the art i planned for today’s f/o feb but i still wanted to talk about it.

f/o february day 5: favorite au

okay i have a very intensive au for woy that’s basically a crossover with the aurora cycle series (aka some of the best sci fi i’ve ever read if ur into that go read it go read it now) and it’s more or less WOY But More Organized also darker and grittier but everyone’s on the same team

in the aurora cycle universe there’s this academy that trains teams of six to be space adventurers and do cool space adventurer things and well hey, whaddaya know, that’s the same number as main characters in woy (plus me)

i’m the team pilot (aka the ace). peepers is the team scientist (aka the brains). we don’t hate each other at first (unlike in canon) but we’re kind of caught in this loop of underestimating each other for a while and trading barbs back and forth and the like. we get over the first bit but we still make lots of jokes and dumb shit (very much like in canon). between us and the rest of the squad (tm) we’ve got a very snarky space found family dynamic which i think is cool and impressive of us.

2017: Disney XD Made Reboot of DuckTales! ^^ It was Good Season! Sawing Star Vs Force Of Evil TV Movie! My First AU Of WOY: My Family Stars, Seeing Coco! Because it was Saddest Movie! ;-;

2018: Sawing CN Mexico Made Short Episode Called Villainous, My Cartoon Crush is Black Hat, Shipping about Paperhat, I got to see Incredibles 2 after 14 Years! xD, Villainous is making A TV series! Warmups ♤ I'M GONNA MAKE WORDS FOR THIS ONE, BUCKLE UP Ok so I've been looking at some of my old art and I remembered some of my #dannyphantomnextgen stuff and a character I wanted put in Wild Kratts. Anyone who's known me since then ( @seabuniie.s I'm looking at you) knows I was...just a little off upstairs. ◇ Now back to explaining! The dirty blonde girl on the first page of warmups was my interpretation of one of the Kratt bros older sisters, (yes they have other siblings) Rachel, and I had an entire story arc for her. I'll probably eventually go back and recreate it, maybe to keep myself from burning down with my other aus. Same page! The kid that looks like Danny! Heyyyy, I updated the WoY After Verse Master Post! Here’s what I wrote:

A NEW MEMBER OF THE FAMILY - Meet Baby Rigel

To the anons who’ve asked about Hater and Wander possibly having another baby, I’ve got a new answer for you! Taylor and I have decided to add a new member to the Skeleton Dance Family: Rigel Threat Skulldrion (his middle name being a tribute to Major Threat/Jeff simply because of how much he means to Wander and Hater, though Hater thought Threat sounded cooler than Jeff).

Basically, after seeing how their kids were growing up and nearly ready to move out of the Skull Ship, both Wander and Hater started feeling the ‘empty nest’ blues. It took a while to decide to have another kid though, simply because Wander wanted one but wasn’t sure if Hater wanted to pretty much start over with raising a baby, and Hater wanted one but wasn’t sure if Wander would want to go through the pain of carrying another baby. Eventually though, after some much needed communication and the realization that they’re both practically immortal (so no real need to worry about age or when they should or shouldn’t be having babies), Wander and Hater decided to have another baby!

We are still working on the details for Rigel’s personality, interests and character designs. Once we have these figured out, we will be updating this page. However, we have decided that Rigel will be born when the twins are about eighteen or nineteen. So yeah, a bit of a retcon but not by much - just assume that any story that doesn’t mention him takes place when Orion and Lily are 18/19. As for how the twins feel about their new baby bro, Lily was excited almost immediately while Orion was sort of… neutral. He didn’t hate the idea necessarily, but after it just being the four of them (seven if you count Syl, Peepers and Captain Tim), he felt like it’d be weird having a new member of the family around and just wasn’t sure how it would work out. However, the moment he saw his new baby brother, all those unsure feelings disappeared and Orion immediately formed a connection to Rigel, completely loving him and promising to be the best older brother ever!
