Welcome to the Library 📚
Hello to our lovely members, old and new!
We just want to take a quick moment to remind you who we are & what we do.
We’re here to celebrate the incredible talents of our fandom’s wonderful creators - whether that’s creators of any kind of visual arts or writers of glorious fic. To do that, we’re relying on you, our members to send in recs for the works that you love to the submit or ask box on any of our branches, or to tag us in reblogs (we prefer this way for tumblr fic & art post so the credit stays with the correct person).
To keep things simple, we have 3 branches:
@wrassleslashlibrary - (WSL) here you’ll find slash & femslash faves for all manner of ships, kinks & promotions. It’s also our ‘main’ branch as it was our first, so here’s also where you’ll find the Reference & Resource Dept with lots of useful hints & tips for creators and the WSL Art Wing- the main home for our art reblogs.
@wrasslehetlibrary - (WHL) here you’ll find fic recs & the occasional art reblog for m/f couples, mixed gender 3+ ships & even wrestler/OC. Just like on the slash branch, all ships, kinks & promotions are welcomed.
@wrassleficlibrary - (WFL) here you’ll find the recs for works that don’t exactly fit on the slash or het branches - so solo fics, slice of life stories, original wrestling fiction. Fictional promotions are welcomed here.
Anon is always enabled on all our branches to spare any blushes & all recs received will be posted, though we may queue some or reformat to suit our posting style.
We do not kinkshame or shipshame here, or support any kind of negative comments towards our writers or artists - any asks to that nature will be deleted without response.
Tagging review & the creation of easier to search tag pages is a work in progress, starting with WSL. We cannot possibly read all recs sent in, so for plot tags, we rely on what the author or sender has provided. If you think we have missed an important tag on a work that might help an interested reader to find it, or someone to avoid it, drop us an ask to let us know. If you are an author/artist & we have linked your library tag to the wrong blog or penname, drop a message into chat so we can point interested readers in the right direction.
Our work in progress recs are checked weekly & a bulletin is posted each Sunday for any of our members who do not, or cannot, have AO3 or FFDN accounts. You’ll also find plenty of specials where we focus on recs with a particular theme, or to celebrate a significant anniversary for a fave.
Whether you’re a new member or you’ve been with us a while, please stop by & take a look around, there’s wonderful works that have been recced just waiting to be viewed by you - don’t forget to leave the creators some love! And of course, please feel free to share your own faves!
Without your submissions we have nothing to recommend!
