I watched the SAW movies when I was in high school, but they got really samey and lost my interest after awhile

but I do kinda miss how unhinged it is, because Jigsaw claims “ooh, I’m not a serial killer, I’m not touching you, I’m not touching you, you had every opportunity to not be chopped into salsa by my custom-made kill-collar that I made and then strapped on to you, you whizzed the opportunity right down your leg, you made your choice, I didn’t do anything, I’m not touching you”, and people start genuinely agreeing with that? both in the movie universe and out? fuckin genius comedy tbh

honestly the Last thing i expected when i downloaded a yakuza 1 iso was that it would be a beat em up with a silent hill camera. im only at the very beginning of the game but like. that's undeniably what this game is... at least so far. i've only just beat the shirtless guy at the funeral parlor, after being devastated at having to go through ALL of his goons AGAIN because there was no save point........

what also doesn't help is that my USB controller is a knockoff xb360 controller where the face buttons are different so i keep forgetting what shape means which button...

The Xbox 360 version of Asterix at the Olympic Games looks different from the others, it has enhanced Asterix, Obelix and Roman models, some upscaled textures and normal maps. They overdid it with the shiny effects IMO, and the Romans look sorta uncanny.

Xenia, the Xbox 360 emulator, seems pretty raw compared to other emulators I tried. The original resolution is 720p which looks blurry when stretched to fit my monitor, but I could double it by editing some text file (it's bigger than the monitor offers but okay). However, the game's textures begin to glitch, the longer I play the more noticeable it becomes, and I don't even need half an hour before it becomes an utter mess and freezes.

Overall I don't recommend running OG in Xenia, maybe it's more stable in the emulators for PS2 and Wii... or just get the PC version, it runs smoothly on a 2007 toaster.

so, i really like fighting games. always have. i'm not exactly the best at them but i do have a lot of fun playing them with buddies!~

this stick was originally a SSF4 XB360 Chun-Li TES but I've replaced the home panel PCB with JasenCustom's MadCatz TE EZ Mod to keep the home panel functional (except the TURBO button is changed to TouchPad click functionality), swapped to a Brook P5+ board, got printed plexi with commissioned digital art of my Tekken 8 main in my preferred 2P colors for her (art was done by Carlos Martinez, who was a total joy to work with btw). I also changed the panel from a Viewlix layout to a Namco Noir layout, and finally got a new Qanba JOV8S lever and Gravity KS buttons for it. The modwork itself was time consuming but not overly difficult.

I still need to finalize some stuff (test the SJ2 cut, test inputs) AND I have more plans for her in the future (K-levers and potentially leverless panels, and if i wanna be REALLY silly I've been eyeballing installing the Brook retro fight board in it), but for now, I'm really happy with it! Can't wait to host another fightnight once I'm done with it.

I have a second TE that I was going to mod as well but honestly after finishing this one I'd rather just build a Panzer FS4 instead of rehabbing another TE. The Azucena TE is a special one to me with it's clear blue body and numbered release, but the other TE is just a standard RD2 one.

So something just occurred to me about Unleashed, more specifically about Eggmanland (at least the PS3/XB360 version):

I know that it's just a way of having both gameplay modes be in the final level, but screw "it's just a gameplay mechanic", I like thinking of in-story reasons for said gameplay. The constant form switching in Eggmanland would imply that Sonic gained the ability to willingly transform whenever he wants. Or at least whenever he wants in sunless/low UV environments.

Even though the in-game hourglass flipping implies it, I doubt Sonic is wasting time waiting around for the sun to set or rise in Eggmanland. And since the switch happens right when Sonic gets to a section of the level that would be easier to handle in his other form, that implies he's choosing to change when it's the more practical option.
