yea my queer ass swiped Roxas' name as my own. I had a major identity crisis after leaving a cult a decade ago so it kinda felt fitting to pick the name with his own history with cults & identity issues hehe

2. When was the last time you cried?

couple days ago, tho I have a very hard time crying anymore. thaaaat's probs not good ^^;; I used to be a huge crybaby.

3. Do you have kids?

thankfully not. I'm enough work as is tyvm

4. What sports do you play? have you played?

I played street hockey with my neighbors quite a bit growing up, tho it was rather short-lived when they suddenly had a problem with playing with a girl (boy do I have news for them). in high school I joined the tennis team. I wasn't stellar at it but I had a blast. wish there were more opportunities to play but that requires other ppl wanting to play.

these days I've been reconnecting with my childhood love of rollerblading. I'm close to being as good as I used to be which is so exciting cuz there's so much I never mastered! so I'm about to cross over into new territory!

5. Do you use sarcasm?

what's sarcasm? ovo

6. What is the first thing you notice about people?

looking at the world thru an artist's lens, I notice things like posture, expression, body language first. which can tell u a lot about a person in the moment without a word being spoken.

7. What's your eye color?

blue! I think they're turning gray as I get older which is kinda cool but also a little sad.

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

depends on my mood; both are good. so long as the story is told well anything goes really.

9. Any talents?

I suffer from the good at the arts but bad at everything modern society deems useful disease. my main talent is probs drawing, writing coming second (if I ever get the spoons to do it again). I'm also decent at singing with my long history with choir & leading worship services.

10. Where were u born?

the most boring place on earth -- the US Midwest. Siri, play "Sidewalks" by Story of the Year.

11. What are your hobbies?

a lot of my free time lately has been getting back into studying languages. I'm mostly focused on Japanese atm but I'm also at an intermediate level in German & conversational in ASL.

I game quite a bit too, primarily retro games. *screaming crying throwing up that PS2-era is now considered retro* seldom do I play things upon release except of KH.

oh, I'm also a casual fashion doll collector (mostly Barbie & Monster High). old media as well (vhs, retro games, music, etc). lost media & preservation of the arts in general really interests me.

I play guitar a bit too but lol I suck at it.

other hobbies previously touched on in earlier q's include drawing, skating, singing & writing. :3c

I have a kitty! she's a dilute calico & a huge diva cuz she knows she's gorgeous. she's loud af just like me & loves talking to her fave humans in the sassiest tone possible.

German (easily my best subject), art & English.

15. Dream job?

I've been thinking a lot about circling back to an old dream job. something utilizing my knack for picking up languages. maybe interpreting or teaching? I'd really like to go back to school so I can maybe have a decent shot at something overseas. where? I'm still deciding. being trans kinda complicates it a bit. with that in mind & having several instances of homelessness this past decade I've concluded the US isn't a viable place for me to continue living. I have a unique opportunity to rebuild rn & I intend to utilize it. even if that means allowing my art to return to being just a hobby.

#i'll keep the post short but i'll go crazy in the tags #ok so a lot went into this hehe #i listened to over 12 hours of jazz and condensed it to almost 4 hrs #the title of the piece. does it make sense to the character? is there a story to tell? #some don't in the sense of the character themself but simply bc a specific duo were on the set image #for example: Chasin' the Bird by Paul Chambers is good but since Suuji is on Ichi's set pic i HAD to include this for the drum solo #like pop off king #the playlist is in their birth order so Oso and Bill Evans. Kara and John Coltrane etc etc #i made sure each brother had at least 30 minutes to shine. there are pieces from the albums in Take One and Take Two #there are some duplicates but they were played differently enough for me ig #also the obvious 'do this go off?'. do i like it? does it make me want to smack my desk to the beat? does it make me want to cry? etc #of course i had to consider those who probably don't enjoy jazz as much as i do! like how easy is it to listen to and so on #there's one that some might not get but jfc i love it sm #my bias is showin but i am especially proud of the pieces i picked for osomatsu <3 #i also rlly like the pieces for jyushi aaaaaa the albums they referenced for him r so good #yea this is going in the main tag cuz i worked hard on this #it was fun to make this! i used to be in concert band and jazz band and we had to do a lot of active listening #music was my favorite class and i genuinely miss playing an instrument #osomatsu san #kaasan.txt #playlist

Blackbird: 7

You and Wanda go to sleep and your alarm goes off at 11am and you groan softly before getting off the couch. You fold the blanket that you used and change into your clothes. You start some coffee for Wanda then head for home. It’s maybe a few mile walk, you stop and get a breakfast sandwich from one of the local deli’s then continue on your way home. When you round the corner there’s a black car sitting across the street from your place. You slip your hand into your purse and wrap your hand around the pepper spray Wanda had given you. You will use it if the person in that car isn’t Steve, or Bucky. You make your way up your stairs and into your house, whoever is in the car stays in the car which makes you think that it’s Bucky. You head up to your room, lock the door then go take a quick shower.

When you get out of the bathroom you wrap your towel around yourself and go to your room to grab clothes.

“You should’ve waited for me to come inside.” Steve says and you scream loudly.

“What the fuck Steve! Turn around!”

“You dance half naked and you’re mad that I’m seeing you in a towel?” He says turning around.

“Yes! I chose to let people see me when I’m dancing. You just invaded my space and don’t have my consent to see me right now!”

“I’m sorry.” He says softly and it floors you how sorry he sounds.

“Thank you.” You grab some clothes and disappear back into the bathroom to get dressed. When you get back in your bedroom he’s standing in the corner typing on his phone.

“Let’s get this over with.” You grumble and he stands up straight.

“I’m really sorry.” He says shoving his phone into his pocket.

“Good. Tell me you already called someone to fix the window.” You say moving past him and down the stairs.

“Even better,” he tells you following you, you get to the main floor and see that the window is already fixed. “It’s done, the guy said it was an easy fix and it took him like, five minutes.”

“Ok. Get out.”

“What?”

“Get the fuck out of my home.” You sneer and Steve has the audacity to look surprised.

“Birdie?”

“Get out!” You yell shoving him in the chest, “Get out now! You think,” you shove him again, “that cuz you’re a big bad mob boss,” you shove him again, “that you can do whatever the fuck,” you shove him, “you want.”

“Hey woah, calm down.”

“Calm down?” You snap shoving his chest again. Much to your irritation he hasn’t moved even with you pushing him with all your strength. “Don’t you know you should never tell a woman to calm down?” You go to push him again and he captures your hands against his chest.

“Birdie, I need to tell you something but I need you to be calm.”

“Tell me later!” You snap trying to pull your hands out from under his.

“I can’t. Birdie you’re in danger.” You freeze, “Rumlow has left the Howlies for an organization called Hydra. He’s been running his mouth about how he’s gonna get you.”

“He’s gonna get me.” You give him a disbelieving look and he sighs and nods, “Yea okay. Why me?”

“Men like Rumlow aren’t used to hearing the word no and you’ve said it to him twice.”

“Men like you.”

“Birdie please let me help you.”

“And what will that cost me Steve? My freedom? My soul?”

“Why is it so hard for you to let me protect you?”

“Why do you feel the need to protect me?” He pulls you to him and presses his lips to yours. It takes a second for you to register that he’s kissing you. You push him away, “what the hell?”

“I like you, a lot, you’re sweet and smart and so fucking beautiful. You’re great with Ada, you’re the whole package.”

“Oh,” you suddenly realize what’s happening, “this sometimes happens, you’re just into me because I’m good with your child. You just think you’re into me. We call it the nanny effect.”

“I don’t think so Honey, I was interested before I even knew who you were. Like I said in your office, I almost asked for a private dance from you just to have a moment of your time.”

“Yea okay. Now go away.” You tell him moving away from him and into your kitchen. You need some caffeine and to prep your meals for the rest of the week. You hear him leave, but don’t turn around, not until you’re sure he’s gone. You drop down into a chair then call Wanda and tell her what happened.

“Maybe you should let him help you.”

“I won’t be in his debit.”

“So you rather be in danger?”

“I don’t think I am Wanda. Why would this Rumlow person even bother?”

“I don’t know. But you did already have Brock break into your house, now there’s this Rumlow dude? I’m just saying be careful, if something feels off maybe let someone know.”

“Fine.”

“And apologize to Steve.”

“Apologize? For what?”

“For yelling at him.”

“I’ll think about it.” You tell her before getting back to work on meal prep. It’s a quiet night, no one bothers you or breaks into your house. You do text Steve, letting him know that you’re sorry for how you reacted and if he’d like to talk when he drops Ada off that it’s fine. He doesn’t respond to you but a bouquet of flowers shows up at your house later that night with a note

I’m sorry. If you need me I’ll be there. Steve

Damn him for being so sweet, you text him again to thank him for the flowers and this time you get a response.

You’re welcome. I’m sorry I was an ass, I just want to make sure you’re safe.

I know and I appreciate it but I’m not yours.

I’d treat you right. You’d want for nothing.

You don’t respond. What do you say to that? It’s not that he isn’t handsome, he hasn’t been anything but kind and helpful. Even if he does think he runs the show and tries to boss you around all the time. But how he loves Ada is adorable and despite him being a mob boss he seems like a good man.

it’s always hard for me to choose between reid and garcia but for some reason (not a very deep one) i always have to fall back on little spenceroonie. he’s a delicious treat that one. all around excellence in just about every way.

ooooooooh that’s an interesting question!!! i haven’t done an entire rewatch in awhile, but off the top of my head i love the troll arc episodes, and also THE LABYRINTH OF GEDREF gimme all the self sacrifice for tru love it’s DELICIOUS. this is a hard question cuz i love so many eps really i could go on :// k but i came back to add this cuz i just remembered that ep where merlin “fell in love” with freya and how i used to cry and cry over it so lkdjkkhgk there ya go. i was such a dork.

well i mean that’s like asking what tastes better, freshly baked bread or freshly grilled steaks.. i just can’t answer. LotS is an incredible story with so many interesting plot lines, but the office is one of the most original comedies of its time (yes, i know the british one was first, i said what i said), so i don’t think it’s possible to choose a better one.

11/11/11 Tag Game (again!)

aaaand i’ve also been tagged by @fluffythewritingplant​ for a different set of questions!!! you have a lot of questions huh HAHA but they sound fun so thanks for tagging me in this! <3 1. What is your favorite part of writing? characters! characters interacting!! characters doing things! character dialogues!! characters characters characters! 2. Do you prefer reading or writing? HA i haven’t read a novel in a while. but yea i like them both but... yknow. how bout reading my own writing. i’m narcissistic like that  3. How many people have read your stuff? since the next question is specifically about irl, i’m assuming this is about online??? well, i guess all of yall on tumblr have seen my snippets and excerpts right heh (blatant advertising here) (also in case yall don’t know how i differentiate them, snippets are drabbles that i write outside of my main wip and excerpts come directly from the wip draft itself heh) so yea, all of you!! <3 (i guess?????) 4. How many people irl have read your stuff? kinda mentioned this in my previous 11/11/11 tag, but not much. if it’s school stuff then yea, but if it’s my own personal stuff, not really. maybe like a handful in the past, but right now in the present? no one has read my current wip as of yet. 5. Are there any books or movies that inspired your writing? hmmMMMm. in general i guess studio ghibli (in how they make the mundane little everyday stuff magical, i love that), percy jackson (humour lol), mmmm... i actually really don’t know. i’ve been writing for a long time, so i think everything probably just accumulated and it just culminates in this mess that i call my own brand of writing. my friends (who have read my work in the past) say that i actually have a style -- i’m not sure how true that is HAHA but that’s good to know, but i really have no idea what in particular inspired it. 6. How many WIPs do you have? One (or is it two??? but they are of the same... universe-thing.) OKAY like i’ve finished my first draft of my main novel called like all things out of season, and now i’m working (well, barely) on the companion novel so yea.  floating in my head are about three vague forms of ideas though. one of which i have tried numerous times to write but never finished, another is something that i’m like ooooo i’ll write it right after i finish my current one (guess that ain’t happening), and the last is the most vague, most formless one that i just kinda have a feel on but not rly. 7. What are some ideas you had to throw away because you just didn’t have the time to work on them? i’m sure i’ve lost a lot over the years, especially because my memory sucks. also, since my memory sucks... do you expect me to remember these lost ideas??? 8. Have you ever written any poetry? Wanna show some of your stuff? the first time i ever touched poetry was two years ago for a creative writing class. they all kinda suck... do i want to show my stuff??? hmmmmm.... let me take a peek at what i’ve written then well it is pretty cringe but if you wanna read it (scroll through if you don’t want a cringe fest)

(1. don’t ask me about the formatting, idk why i did it this way  2. i think the assignment was... okay who am i kidding, idk what the assignment was about. but i think i just thought it’d be interesting to do a poem using like chinese mythology or something like that. speaking of which, the AU that i wanna write of my novel is kinda also about chinese mythology hmmm... did i say too much) 9. What’s your favorite line/scene you’ve ever written (several are possible of course)? i don’t have a favourite line, but for a scene... i’ve mentioned this somewhere else before (in response to an ask i think), but there was this really important scene that i knew, even before starting my novel, that i had to write and it was simply about this man telling them a story. and i had no idea what i’d write, how it’ was going to play out and everything, but then it came out so beautifully and evocative even though while writing i had no idea what i was doing and i actually felt what i was meant to feel in that story and i just lkjkdlfkjsdlfkd i have a lot of feelings to that  and i can’t show it to yall cuz it’s like, the first main turning point of the story. right after that scene was this kinda sleepover-ish scene with Shou and Jun and i loved writing that too because shou was adorable and excited and jun was understandably not impressed and yknow, it was kinda important too in the whole state of things. OF COURSE before that i enjoyed writing the scene where almost all of them (except the female yu) converged together in the noisies’ place and just had a whole lot of mess and fun yeah that entire portion was great because they all happened kinda altogether at once. 10. What’s your favorite quote i don’t think i have one 11. What’s your favorite quote by someone you know? well it’s not my favourite, but it’s the most iconic one that i can remember right now. we were predrinking before going to a club and one of my friends bought vodka, which yknow tastes like nail varnish and is just terrible (i mean... even if you like vodka... you gotta admit, it feels like it can melt your throat off) while others bought like ~~ wine~~ and stuff and she was like “well we just wanna get drunk right so might as well jump straight into it” and that line stuck with me ever since. girl’s got her priorities straight. (if this makes me seem like i like drinking, i really don’t. and i hate wine HAHA) 12. What’s your favorite book? you are a devil. also. no, ain’t answering that. thank you, next. 13. Which book do you regret reading? i had a bunch of them when i was younger, but... i don’t really remember right now. really 14. Is there something you regret writing? when i was younger i once wrote something in the pov of a cat. do i regret it? no.  it was really stupid though. 15. If your OC’s were actual people in your life, what would your relationship be like? oh ho ho. zhen would be the laziest friend ever and i’d probably be really annoyed at her because it’ll be impossible to go out and hang out with her, but yknow what? i’m basically the same.

shou would be annoying in a different way, he’ll be so overly-excited and energetic that i’ll just be like... stop. and he’s the sort who’ll go around talking to random strangers on the street and as a massive unsociable introvert, i’ll be drowning there in my shyness and inability to talk as he goes out yammering and yammering about who knos what (true story, i have a friend as sociable as him. even when we’re talking to mutual acquaintances, i’m just there. a statue, meant to decorate the setting in which she’s in) i can’t communicate with kids, so i’ll probably be really really awkward with lu. like really. maybe i’ll talk to him a little bit, but i can foresee it to be a very uncomfortable interaction, at least on my part. lol yu(f). i don’t think i can talk to her either. she’s too stressed out and working too hard and i don’t like to bother people like that, especially if we aren’t friends yet. ren would be really easy to talk to, he’s just so laidback and chill and nice, like he’s probably the kind of classmate you’ll just end up casually talking to when you meet on the way to class or on the way out from class. i don’t know if we’ll actually become friends, but we’ll end up being at least friendly acquaintances. i think i’d probably avoid teng in real life. he’s way too loud and dramatic and remember, i’m an introverted girl who doesn’t like to have attention on herself... and with him, yknow you’re gonna get all the attention. likewise with jun, you’re gonna get so much attention with him. but i think i could be friends with him tbh. he acts aloof and is pretty snarky and prickly but once i get past that (if i ever do, which to be frank i might not), i think we could be friends. i probably won’t be friends with yu (m) because he’s that strong silent type and unless i’m made to sit with him in class, i probably won’t ever start up a conversation with him. i most likely wouldn’t be friends with jia because she’s the really attractive, popular type yknow? she’s a nice person and i’d probably be friends with her IF we ever spoke to one another, but considering chances of that are low, i don’t think we’d end up friends. i’m reusing the above questions ^ and tagging a few more people @insearchof-solace (sorry tagging you back just because i want to know your answer for the last one HAHA) @usuallydecentwriter @sunnydaysarealwaysgrey @farrradays

Pretty sure you wrote those "hateful" anons yourself but whatever, your smut could use some work and I hope you didn't think you could rip off Clueless and get away with it. "Hungry Eyes" was rushed, choppy, and incredibly cringey at best. Get a beta or connect with someone who actually knows how to write smut to pick their brain on the matter just fyi :)

Ok… so I got this last night and wasn’t entirely sure if and how I was going to answer this but I kept it and thought long and hard about how to respond so here goes…

1) I don’t know what would even give you the impression that I wrote those hateful anons to myself. Just because I never received any before this? Look… I’m sure there are people on here that think not everyone can write smut (let alone, should) but I’m not on here to please EVERYONE with what I write and HOW I write it.. and I really don’t care.

2) I KNOW my smut could use work. It was my first one, so give me a break! Anybody who’s anybody knows that the first time you do something, it isn’t going to be perfect… plain and simple! That pretty much goes without saying…

3) I didn't “rip off” Clueless… that scene of Josh running his hand through his hair (which is the first gif that was used, which I made) was pretty much the main inspiration behind the fic. Yea, fine… I realize I didn’t put that in my A/N but whatever… and just because I used a small part of that scene to help with the story, um.. I’ve seen others do that before and not get yelled at for it… Please see this post and it’s tags ( x )… pretty self-explanatory cuz I know that most of the people that follow me, read my tags…

4) Please refer back to #2… Also, I’ve read smut fics that kinda go the same pace as what I did.. I will agree though that some go into a lot more detail during the smut scene but seeing as how it was my first one, I didn’t want to over do it…

5) If you had actually read my Author Notes, you would’ve seen that I had two, TWO ( 2 ) beta readers for this and BOTH had said that it was really good. And they both write smut as well…

And finally 6) While I was writing it, I was also reading and going through smut fics so I could have a general idea of how to write stuff and figure out how things would go…

So yes, while I agree that my smut could use work, it was my first one. I’m hoping the next one I write, will turn out a bit better…

can you believe it took me 20 years to give a shit about this character and it was only after Kazuki Takahashi retconned his backstory for DSOD and gave him actuall emotion? Like, talk about a fucking self-insert, empty shell of a character. Almost every fan I’ve seen of his always screamed about how he was misunderstood and under-loved by the show and the fans and how much of a deep and complicated character he was. Thoough they casually forget to mention the part where they only like him cuz of one thing that happened in volume seven of the manga and he never reaches that same usefulness ever again. This character is inconsitent, NOT THAT IMPORTANT, really boring tbh... like, people talk about how selfless he is for sacrificing himself to save his friends but like... have they seen ygo? All the characters do that? Jou dies like four times for his friends, get on his level lol

Or how he’s “forgotten” in the show but lol, ther eare whole chapters and volumes he don’t even fucking TALK in the manga. Shit, KT didn’t give a shit about him either lol. And I am still 85% certain that fans only like him cuz he is a blank slate that can easily be used to tendership and be a fuck toy for Yami Bakura. I mean... this character bores me but the majority of the reason I hate him is how obnoxious his fucking fans are and how much they shoved him down my fucking throat on how “unloved” he was when lol i can’t go anywhere without seeing this fucker. Don’t make me think about him, there’s nothing to him. “He has an occult aesthetic” awesome. Cool. What does that have to do with him being important or even interesting?? Why should I focus on his interest when I have the spirit of a pharaoh as the main character and all these other ancient powers? He ain’t unique. And worse, he has no personality. NOOOO N EEE.

God, I’m getting a headache from remembering all the wank on him. Frankly, I forget about this character a lot but once in a while, I remember his fans and how absorbed they are about this character and how ridiculously annoying they are about him... which brings me to the next fucker.

Yami Bakura

HELLO MOST USELESS VILLAIN!

Oh my god... he’s so useless. Hes so forgettable. He honestly fails as a villain cuz NO ONE GIVES A SHIT ABOUT HIM. NONE OF THEM DO. THE ONLY CHARACTER HE IMPACTS IS HONDA. Yami forgets about him and defeats him quite easily for the first half of the show (which makes their third showdown all the more laughable tbh). Kaiba don’t even give a fuck about him. The fact that the main villain of Battle City (Yami Malik) defeats without losing a SINGLE LIFEPOINT is quite amazing.

Like, I can ALMOST respect a villain working in the shadows and ultimately being the final boss and having be unsuspecting and shit. However, he fails at this. Bakura fails at this SO FUCKING HARD because he never actually wins and is constantly beaten by everyone. He only wins once and that’s against the most minor of fucking minor characters. hE LEAVES NO IMPACT ON ANYONE.

Malik quickly forgets about him, moving on to Anzu to help get his sister to help him hide Rishid and Bakura is gone from his mind. Shit, Yami forgets about him every time he defeats him and is “surprised” each time he comes back. I’d say thats cool but he is easily defeated anyways. Pegasus and Kaiba and fucking Malik left impact on Yami and Yugi... Bakura leaves none. He’s just there, like a fucking cockroach. I GUESS he leaves an impact on Ryou but Ryou is such a bland character that it’s hard to tell what the fucking impact is.

If Bakura was removed from the story, it would’ve flowed better. Been smoother. He’s just this random parasite that sucks depth from the story as well as wastes time. Not to mention he has one of the most irritating fucking fanbases ever. Like, I’m glad they finally realize that he sucks and aren’t screaming about how he’s the greatest villain.

Also, for being the “main villain” lol... he sure is in a coma a lot. and even left out an entire fucking season (doma arc) which coulda been used to develop him. another thing, he has no development or depth. i can’t analyze this underdeveloped character who has nothing with anyone.

like, what’s laughable is how Bakura suddenly becomes this unbeatable force when he’s been this easily defeated fucker whose strategy never works. And like, it fails cuz he was never shown that way throughout the whole show so him suddenly becoming OP makes no goddamn sense and is a total asspull. And omg, his “tragic” backstory is told through flashback of the guy who is COMMITTING the atrocity within his own tragic backstory. AND I FEEL MORE SORRY FOR AKNADIN, WHO WAS THE TRUE BADDIE OF THE SEASON.

CUZ HE HAD DEVELOPMENT. AN ARC. BONDS. I GAVE A SHIT.

TKB I DIDN’T. I don’t know if it’s him who wants vengeance or if its him being controlled by Zorc or anything. this characters fails because I DON’T KNOW SHIT ABOUT HIM and he’s suddenly hailed as important and tragic when it all comes out of nowhere and does not impact him in the slightest.

Why the fuck is he called thief king?? i have no idea. shit, they were able to give me backstories for all these other characters and shit but not bakura... and like, i know KT was rushed with the egypt arc and it shows cuz this character who was never given focus was suddenly the main focus out of nowhere. that part where he dies and time is rewinded and he lives and other shit only to die again?

yea, ok. i’m fairly certain he was actually supposed to die there and that’s when aknadin was supposed to be the main act but sadly, KT was sick and just kept TKB and rushed through.

TKB inflates the story, clogs it up and took the spotlight from the actual story and conflict and the worst part was it’s so obvious he was never meant to be that fucking important.

it’s not eventhe fans fault - the fans almost make him sound like an interesting character but for me, he took away from the plot that the show was building up to and was just... incredibly poorly written.
