LOOPiN NEVER HAPPENED! DEBUT IF YOU CAN!

TREASURE's J.J.

I don't remember how fresh this information is because I don't know if I've mentioned it enough and in detail in this blog, but Jiahang was actually an YG trainee from age 14 to 16. He spend most of that time under KPlus, their model division, learning absolutely nothing because he's really hard to teach anything music related, God bless his heart. He got transferred last minute to active trainee because his millionaire dad paid the Hell out of everyone in charge to get him into the possible lineup for the at the time rumored YG Treasure Box. As a response to that, this man got BULLIED TO SHREDS by EVERYONE AROUND, and I'm talking SOUTH KOREAN ACCURATE BULLYING. Like, there's a reason why when he joined Boy Of The Week, a whole year after quitting YG, mind you!, that he had the shortest hair he ever had in his life and was desperate to not stand out.

But! Let's imagine a world in which he endured all that or some sort of interference happened so things didn't escalate to the point they had. If he never quitted YG, he would be put on Treasure Box, receive the most majestic and appealing cut in the history of reality television, and make it at the 11th to 13th cut, max. Debuting would make him the first chinese Idol under YG Entertainment, and although that would possibly skyrocket his fanbase in mainland China and a lot of SEA countries - specially because he lived in the Philippines! His tagalog is atrocious but hey! - it would also put an immense target on his back over How That Happened, despite the involvement of his father being very minimal in this canon compared to how tangled he had to get with New Wave Music to give Jiahang a spot in LOOPiN.

Really, I don't think he would stay long as a Treasure member by an infinity of reasons, in fact, I see him exiting the group alongside Mashiho and Yedam in late 2022, or maybe even earlier. I think he could make himself into an Idol archetype that worked for him in Treasure, but without anyone putting on the Produce Line pants and actually training him and making him drop the non ambitious act, as happened here, Idol life would get very boring and unfulfilling to Jiahang very fast.

After quitting Treasure, he would definely go back to the mainland, or maybe Taiwan or Hong Kong if he felt more like depending on his dad's influence, and stablish himself there. Do a ton of CFs, act a bit, model a little, regret back to ulzzang mostly, release one song once in a blue moon... And that's that!

ATEEZ's MINWOO.

Oh boy... So, Minwoo was the second ever trainee under KQ Entertainment, arriving at the company right after Hongjoong, and was immediately cut into the debut team. That ended up not lasting because of his constant fights with superiors and trainers, his push to be made the head of a fully self producing group - sounds familiar? Lmao -, as well as the fact that he couldn't get along with the forming trainee team in any way. Like, the Ateez members in LOOPiN canon hate him, just absolutely hate him, and they only had to deal with him for 8 months. Yet they have great reasons for that because MINWOO USED TO SUCK ASS!

That hatred would not digress all that much if he ended up debuting in Ateez, because he would debut extremely unsatisfied. There's also no reality in which he stays in the group longer than 2 years before getting the boot. Minwoo is not an Idol that can function anywhere outside of LOOPiN with all its particularities and the power that he was granted inside New Wave Music, that is like, almost unheard of for a trainee - the one thing I can compare it to, if I'm not mistaken, would be Bang Chan with Stray Kids, kind of, or Kahi with Afterschool, but even they didn't get that producer-ish status until they were already a) under the company for ages or b) already debuted and successful.

After being excused from Ateez, I don't think he would go down quietly; he would probably Say Too Much and tarnish his reputation in the process, making coming back in a group or even a soloist very hard, close to impossible, I would even say. That wouldn't discourage him from making music, and he would stay in the industry as a music producer, and maybe find career redemption there. And he would be extremely unhappy in a lifetime like that, by the way! Forever bitter his Idol dream didn't work! When I say Minwoo without LOOPiN would have turned out a miserable person, I mean it.

OOO's HANJAE.

Enough with the failures! Let's talk something that would work! Before being added to LOOPiN next minute to fill in Dongwook getting the chop, Hanjae was already under BBC and he was training with the guys that ended up becoming OnlyOneOf. If he hadn't made it as a replacement, he would get integrated into the lineup with ease, and get transferred to 8D with everyone and eventually debut in OOO.

I honestly think there's a lot of room for success for Hanjae in this version of canon, and much like will happen to him in LOOPiN eventually duo to both group's acting heavy concept - a concept that I find it so hard for Hanjae to execute without combusting, but I digress! - I see him getting a Rowoon/Eunwoo sort of deal and reaching popular actor status, as he's always intended to reach, and excel at it. Maybe because of OOO's nuguness, if you will, it would take him longer to get the sort of roles he's gotten up until now, but that would not frustrate Hanjae. He's definely someone that can be happy with moderate success, and that wouldn't fully succumb to the actor disease and ever leave the group - which might limited him more, too... But he isn't in it for glory and recognition, and honestly? That's a good mentality to have.

The only big loss I see in this version is his producing talents going by undiscovered, but he can live without them.

CRAVITY's HAEGON.

Okay, hear me out, I always had a clear vision of Cravity's Haegon. Just picture this: Kim Haegon, who spent most of his formative years as a Pledis trainee up until his favorite hyung Beomseok was dismissed from the company for 'being too old', which Haegon didn't take well back when he was 16, given their growing codependent sibling-ish deal. Now, if Beomseok had been firmer with him at that point in time and abandoned him for good - LIKE HE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO, ANYWAYS! BUT ANYWAYS! - instead of going along with his plan to hunt a place for them to debut and landing in Boy Of The Week, everything would be so different for him.

Would Haegon go apeshit then? Yes. In the same way he's gone apeshit at 22 when Beomseok left the group without discussing it with him? No. It would be so much healthier for them to have gone their separate ways when Haegon was still a teenager. Like, his way of getting 'revenge' at Beomseok would be to get into his former company, Starship Entertainment - the one that really fucked him up - and grind his way to debut there no matter what, literally, no matter what, because he still had a bigger goal. LOOPiN Haegon in 2022 had all his dreams 'fulfilled', in his perspective, and had nothing else to focus his energy on except for the fact that Beomseok was missing - and that Gyujin was taking his place.

A lot of things would happen to him as consequence of him going to Starship, like A LOT, too many to get into here, but most of them would be good development things. I also think his bound with the Cravity members would be way less chaotic than with LOOPiN, that was fucked by Beomseok being his ultimate priority - unless Cravity has members creating vicious circles of codependency between each other and I'm not familiar with that!

Anyways, he would SHINE in Cravity after debut, but I honestly think a Haegon that got separated from Beomseok much earlier and had responsible enough people around him would shine anywhere. Suck that's not his canon, though! It actually really sucks that's not who he is or will ever be, now! It hurts me! It really does!

AND THE OTHERS...?

Without LOOPiN on their way, Taesong, Seungsoo, Haruki, Dylan, O.z and Gyujin would all end up as regular citizens, or at the very least non Idol celebrities! But that would be a whole other post...

TREASURE MEMBERS AS HOGWARTS HOUSES

HYUNSUK: ravenclaw

for hyunsuk, he's got to be pretty smart to be a leader, and producing takes a lot of skill and creativity, which is why i would sort him as a ravenclaw.

JIHOON: slytherin

ehhh we all know why. he's intense, competitive, clever, sadistic, etc etc, but most importantly: he's enduring. which makes him a perfect slytherin.

YOSHI: hufflepuff

this man is way too sweet to be anything else. on stage, he doesnt seem like a stereotypical hufflepuff, but he's insanely kind. i mean this boy wanted to be a kindergarten teacher!

JUNKYU: gryffindor- hufflepuff leaning

i think he's a gryffindor for sure, with hufflepuff tendencies. he's an insanely brave and courageous person (after treasure box theres no way you dont agree with me) with hufflepuff tendencies. i feel like the sorting hat would go back and forth but settle with gryffindor.

ASAHI: ravenclaw

this man. he could easily become friends with the iconic luna lovegood. he's pretty much key ravenclaw material. creative, witty, smart, weird...ravenclaw 100%

DOYOUNG: gryffindor

he's got some guts. with his flirting and overall personality, gryffindor would be the best fit. he'd probably even be friends with fred and george.

JAEHYUK: hufflepuff- gryffindor leaning

we know jae is a pure soul, but i think he'd also be insanely brave too, and he might even request to be in gryffindor because he doesnt want to be bullied. but the sorting hat would know he's just too hufflepuff like to grant that request.

HARUTO: slytherin

he's a hard one to read for me, but i settled on slytherin because even though he gives cold vibes, and has a dry sense of humor, he has a sweet side. which goes in line with slytherins. plus- he doesn't like rules either!

JEONGWOO: ravenclaw

this might come as a surprise, but he always astonishes me with his smarts, so i sorted him here. i mean- he learned how to sing and dance AFTER he got into YG...s m a r t. he's also a little crazy too lol

JUNGHWAN: gryffindor

he's for sure the easiest one for me to pick. he goes with the flow, fits in, and always does what he thinks is best, while still not being a pushover. gryffindor.

YEDAM: ravenclaw - slytherin leaning

he's smart, insanely so, and always knows the best note or thing to say. since ravenclaws have an affinity for both the details and music, his love of composing fits in. he has slytherin tendencies (like when he's gaslighting people as the mafia) and i feel like he could easily be misconstrued as a slytherin. MASHIHO: gryffindor

brave, strong, insufferable- here's the thing- a gryffindor thing to do would be sad and pretend to be fine. which i think he did in the jikjin era. he was the same but there was no passion there. he's 100% a gryffindor

i definitely understand because people can't be put into one box and if you have talent in all of them, then it'll be good to show it 🤩 ngl i love beomgyu's and soobin's voices so much that i can easily get mesmerized by them 🥳 it's so unfortunate for them to put at the back when it comes to distribution and stuff...

that was actually my first time being checked into a hospital for a stay because i had dengue fever and my thrombosis level was going down so much and i was there with my iv and just watching the finale on v app at that time gosh... 😝 idk about mashiho coming back but i know about yedam's insta. i understand why the left honestly because both of them have invested so much of their youth years to debut then to have it delayed and changed 😌 truthfully, i always thought that yg was not ready to debut another group when they couldn't handle treasure seriously unlike blackpink. shame of them to let go of such assets but good for the members to get out of their grasp and be indie 👍

I love LOVE hearing people talk abt smithing they love so much and are so passionate about 🩷🥺 I will check everything u said soon !! esp wanna watch that variety u said. the last thing u said abt their friendships was so endearing it made my heart flutter 💓💓 so I wanted to ask what dynamics and friendships do u see in treasure?

omg yaaay pls keep me posted on everything you check out! 💖 and i'm so glad you're also a dynamic / friendship enthusiast sjgknfj there are so many good ones in trsr ... i ended up writing so much again JKSGB and i still am like this is barely even scratching the surface 😂

they all went through a lot together with their survival show (yg treasure box aka ygtb aka my behated) but even before that, a few of them were trainees together for a really long time (hyunsuk, junkyu, yedam, jihoon, and doyoung in korea; yoshi, haruto, mashiho and asahi in japan). hyunsuk basically helped raise doyoung, that's how young he was when they started training together, they're still one of my favorite duos because of that. some of my favorite friendships that i think are like, very real / would exist outside of the context of the group: jihoon and junkyu (total soulmate same age friends, they are HILARIOUS together), jaehyuk and asahi (another same age pair, i think they really bring out the best in each other), haruto and asahi (literally could have had their own rooms but opted to share one instead so that they could make a hangout room and work on music together), and then jeongwoo and jaehyuk (these two are honestly more like actual brothers) -- and that unit of the 4 of them (0104 line!) are basically a functioning family lol they are ALWAYS together in some combination or another. i also love the friendship and dynamic between jihoon and hyunsuk as coleaders, i think it was so smart to have both of them leading the group, they complement each other really well and again there is so much mutual respect and a shared vision for the type of culture they wanted to create for the entire group. you can tell how much the other members look up to them 🥹 yoshi and hyunsuk are also a duo that are often together, junghwan is often with 0104 as well, i really miss yedam with doyoung and junkyu specifically, and mashiho with doyoung 🥲 jeongwoo and any of his hyungs is absolutely hilarious. asahi finding junkyu to be the funniest member is a fun fact that i really love also lol like it's kind of unexpected but it makes sense - there's a lot of little fun bits like that within a group so big.

i also recommend checking out their t-talks where they pair 2 members up to chat (they just rebooted this series with new videos recently, but there are older ones that are really fun to watch bc some of the pairs are still super awkward at the time lol), it's cool to see some duos that you don't normally see opting to hang out together. really any combination will give you something interesting -- if it's not besties or brotherhood, it's maybe an older member seeing themselves in a younger member (jihoon has said this of jaehyuk for example), or differing points of view have helped each other learn or see something in a new light and been helpful to them. and they're a pretty affectionate group too which is what my irl bestie really took to them for haha she said it was really refreshing to see a group of boys that was so openly loving like that -- i know this isn't necessarily unique to trsr because kpop is known for skinship, but she wasn't a kpop fan before i showed them to her, and the affection also encompasses their consideration for each other so it's not just about them being snuggly haha (although that is cute too)! many of them i really don't think would have ever been friends outside of the group honestly but one thing they have ALL done is worked hard to work together and understand each other to be one team 🥹

My thoughts on Treasure's new album tracklist

Overall: When i first saw the tracklist, I thought it was so interesting that for the first time Future Bounce has not been credited on a Treasure album! He has worked on almost all their other songs so it was very surprising to me but then i figured out that DEE.P, who is credited for all the songs on this new album, is part of Future Bounce and now it makes sense lol.

HELLO: The people who composed Hello are almost exactly the same as those who composed Jikjin and U just in another order and that does not narrow down the vibe of the title track lol. Those songs could not be more different. Like the guys already spoiled it's more of a bright song so we know it won't be like Jikjin ig but I'm still so curious!!!

VolKno: A HyunHaYo subUnit 😭 I never expected this album to have subunits and I'm just sooooooo proud of our boys!! I don't know what to expect! Like surely they'll go for a hard hitting song but we only got small parts for our rapper trio on Treasure songs and now I have no idea what a full length song by them would sound like! It's even composed by them 🔥But!... what does 'VolKno' even mean though lol?? i've not checked twitter so i don't know if there are theories or explanations going around but i barely know how to pronounce that. It got me hyped though :p

CLAP: We got two songs composed but Asahi 😭 I'm legit tearing up again. He deserves that and so much more. Like to me, it always seemed like Asahi became a trainee at YG not to become an idol, but to compose music and share it with a broad audience and now he gets to do that 😭 there are just no words to describe how proud I am of Sahi I'm beyond curious to know what it'll sound like!

Thank You: An Asahi and Haruto Unit???? The biggest surprise on the album like what???? That's so unexpected! When thinking of SubUnits before, I expected the obvious ones like Haruto and Jeongwoo, HyunHaYo, Hyunsuk and Jihoon, maybe even Asahi and Yedam, but no!!! This is soooo cool + it's another song composed by Sahi 🙏Asahi really surprised me on their Jikjin album because of this beautiful vocals and now we'll get almost an entire song 😩I'm thinking it will be Asahi singing the chorus and Haruto rapping the verses? I'm so looking forward to it, imagine them performing it for their Japan Concert Tour!!! I might explode

Hold It In: You know, this is a tough one! Because I expect the last song of a kpop album to be the classic balled but this one is composed by Hyunsuk! All Hyunsuk's self composed songs that we've heard snippets of are like kind of EDM almost with a heavy beat. Best Friend Forever is more laid back but still with a very all over the place instrumental so I highly doubt this last song will be a ballad. ROVIN also worked on this song and he did more of Treasure light-hearted songs like 'Be With Me' and 'Come To Me'. So maybe it will be that kind of happy song?

Darari Remix: It's only on the fucking CD!!! that means I can't stream it on spotify 😭 YG why would you do this to me!!!!?? Everyone wants the remix to be available for streaming and it won't make you sell more albums to make it CD only like WTF No one buys a kpop album to actually play the CD so why make it CD only omg it gets me so mad!!

Final Thoughts:

I'm really happy with this tracklist! It's not 7 tracks like we thought it would be, but 6 is good enough, i'm not disappointed.

Haruto is on all the songs in this album! Good for him 🦋

The boys said they were very involved with making the album but I didn't know they were this involved!!! Remember when Treasure Box just ended and YGE released a statement that Teddy would compose all their songs and the members wouldn't participate in the proces?!! And look at them now 😭

Mashiho and Yedam are still on the album with the Darari Remix 💙 Thank God 🙏

I'm really looking forward to this album, even more than I was before. Fighting Treasure!!

Early life

Mizuki was born in Okayama, Japan. Growing up her parents owned a dance studio where her and her little brother would begin to start the love for dancing, Mizuki is a trained ballet dancer but her favourite style is currently hip-hop dancing. She took up many other hobbies including art, swimming, playing guitar and singing but her favourite was gymnastics being able to use her body and flip around was so cool to her. Singing almost came natural to her as her mother and grandmother both sang so naturally she carried on the talent by beginning singing lessons at age 8.

Pre-Debut

Before joining YG entertainment Japan she went on a survival show where she placed 7th but unfortunately the group did not end up making their debut as of conflicts within the company, this is where a staff member saw her talents and emailed her to come to an audition thinking it was fake Mizuki didn’t reply for 3 months before coming to YG with a schoolmate where they remembered her survival show audition tape and asked her to audition for them. In late 2017 is when she began to train with the rest of the YG female trainees but around mid 2019 a video of Mizuki performing Cherry Bomb by NCT 127 went around the company showing her particular style of dance and groove after a few months of questioning and many dance assessments they allowed Mizuki to join the male trainees before the cuts of many of her fellow trainees and friends.

YG’s Treasure Box

Getting ready to say goodbye to her friends was harder than she thought, they were all going to Korea to compete in a survival show, she would miss them all and training was going to be so lonely without them. When the boys came home some were sad others were happy, she felt weird and realised soon on that not all of them were here and some still in Korea where they would hopefully make their debut, she was proud of them but couldn’t help the feeling of sadness of not being able to debut yet.

Treasure

When the thought of her debuting with a boy group came around she didn’t realise why she was shocked she had been with YG’s male trainees for a least two years now or what felt like, the company had sent her and a few other trainees to korea to begin training for an actual group. It was scary for her she hardly knew korean and after watching the show she knew each of them and their abilities. Mizuki kept to herself most of the time she was generally a quiet person but it was much harder with the language barrier now many of the boys had actually recognised it and had asked the Japanese members why she was so scared or never talked but the boys knew how hard it would be to have her open up so they asked them to do it lightly. It was a scary experience for her but after overcoming her fear her and the twelve boys were as close as ever.

hyunsuk

you walked down the halls of the building in which your boyfriend worked. you had just gotten back from a trip, and despite it being late at night, you decided that you wanted to see your boyfriend. pushing open the door to the practice room, it was fairly empty. only three members, your boyfriend included, were still practicing. upon hearing the door open, they all turned to look at you. hyunsuk let out a gasp and made his way over to you after telling doyoung and haruto to take a break.

“baby!” he said with a giant smile, “i missed you so much! yah, what are you doing here so late?”

as he pulled you into his arms, you replied, “i missed you too, that’s why i’m here! i don’t care how late it is, i wanted to see you.” you admitted shyly.

“you’re cute, you know. but your health is important!” he scolded, but he still gave you a kiss, happy to see you.

jihoon

it was your boyfriend’s birthday, and due to his busy schedule, you hadn’t had time to see each other much. at first, you accepted that you were going to have to celebrate jihoon’s birthday another day, but thanks to the other treasure members, this wasn’t the case. while treasure was practicing, hyunsuk made up an excuse to leave the room, and nobody thought anything of it. when he left, he went to find you, leading you to the practice room. you had a cake in your hands, adorned with candles, ready for your boyfriend to make a wish. you slowly made your way into the practice room, and the members began singing happy birthday almost immediately, having been in on the plan the whole time. needless to say, jihoon was indeed surprised.

“happy birthday, baby. make a wish.” you smiled and watched as he blew out the candles.

after doing so, he looked at you, “making a wish was difficult.. i already have everything i could wish for right here.”

yoshi

some days, you had to admit it. you missed your boyfriend. unluckily for you, he was constantly practicing. you knew what you were getting yourself into when you started dating yoshi since he’s an idol, but it was hard to be away from him. with this in mind, you got ready and made your way to the yg building. after texting hauruto for directions, you finally found yourself standing in front of the practice room. for several minutes, you stood outside, waiting until the music died down. when it did, you took this as your cue to walk into the room. everyone’s heads shot up to look at you, but yoshi was the only one to react.

“y/n?” he nearly yelled as he made his way over to you, “how are you, my love?” he pulled you in for a hug.

“i’m good, better than before now that i’m here,” you chuckled as you pulled away from the hug, “i’m sorry for showing up without warning, i just missed you a lot.”

“never be sorry, you’re always welcome here, okay? you should stop by more often.”

junkyu

it was your anniversary, and you wanted nothing more than to spend it with your boyfriend. unfortunately, he was preparing for a comeback, and you two never had time to make plans to celebrate. luckily for the both of you, you always thought fast. after confirming with a few people, you prepared a tiny picnic basket filled with yours and junkyu’s favorite foods, and made your way to the building where your boyfriend was currently learning knew choreography, completely oblivious to what was about to happen. when you arrived, jihoon let you inside, and led you to the room where junkyu was. when junkyu spotted you, he was initially shocked. he hadn’t expected you to show up, let alone with food.

“i come bearing gifts.. happy anniversary, junkyu..” you spoke as he strode over to you, placing a kiss on your lips.

“you’re so amazing, you know? happy anniversary, baby, i love you.”

“i love you too.”

mashiho

it wasn’t uncommon for you to surprise mashiho during practice. he was constantly working to improve his dancing despite the fact that he was incredible at it. however, recently, you had been busy with your classes, giving you no time to visit your boyfriend. this is why, when you showed up with some take out in hand, mashiho was caught completely off guard.

“baby?” he asked as he walked over to you, “i thought you had to study for a quiz?”

“i did- i do, but i wanted to see you first.. i figured you might be hungry. plus, you’re more important than a stupid quiz anyway.” you blushed lightly as mashiho planted a kiss on your forehead.

“well, then who am i to say no to you, angel. let’s eat!”

jaehyuk

you had always been close with the treasure members since the beginning. jaehyuk made sure of this, wanting all of the important people in his life to get along well. today, you were more thankful for this than ever. asahi had texted you saying that jaehyuk was being down on himself at practice and needed cheering up. after discussing it further, you rushed over to the building where your boyfriend was. you felt like you couldn’t walk fast enough as you made your way into the practice room. due to the force you used on the door, everyone turned to look at you.

“y/n, what are you doing-” you cut your boyfriend off as you pulled him into a hug.

he knew what this was about, not asking any more questions. he hugged you back, thankful to see you despite his initial reaction. when you pulled away, jaehyuk pulled you over to the side so that you didn’t interrupt the other boys.

“i’m sorry for just barging in.. asahi told me you were having a hard time, and i-” you started to ramble, but your boyfriend stopped you.

“i’m happy to see you, you know.. i needed to see you right about now. thank you for coming..”

“of course. i’m always here if you need me.”

asahi

lately you had been seeing asahi less and less. sure, you facetimed often, but it was nowhere near the same as seeing each other in person. you missed your boyfriend, but you also understood that you were both adults with things to do. still, you wanted to see him so bad. the thoughts of seeing him clouded your judgement and soon you were walking into the practice room unannounced. all twelve members looked at you in a slight panic, relieved to see it was just you who had walked in. asahi looked at hyunsuk for approval before walking over and hugging you tightly. neither one of you said anything as you both weren’t good with your words. you didn’t need to say anything. you both knew that this was something that you needed.

yedam

you and yedam were lucky enough to be classmates, so you saw each other often. however, on this particular day, yedam hadn’t shown up for school. you thought that maybe he was just sick and sleeping the day away, which is why he didn’t text you about missing school, but something was telling you that wasn’t the case. after exchanging a few texts with doyoung, you now knew that your boyfriend was not sick, but had been practicing all day instead. you took this as your cue to go and try to convince him to take a break. and that’s what you did. you arrived at the yg building after your classes and found yedam still dancing away in the practice room. since he was the only one in the room, you didn’t hesitate to walk in.

“hey..” you spoke, and yedam jumped, having not seen you walk in.

after turning off the music, your boyfriend looked at you, “baby? what are you doing here.. it’s late. you should go home and rest.”

“you need to rest too, yedam.” you started, “i came here partially because i wanted to see you, but also to tell you that you’ve done a great job today and deserve a break.”

after taking in your words, yedam nodded, “you’re right.. i just really want to nail this choreography.. but hearing you say this.. it means a lot- and i’m gonna listen to you. thank you for coming tonight..”

“i’ll always be here,” you kissed his cheek, despite him being sweaty, “now come on. let’s lay on the floor and you can play me some of the demos you’ve been working on.”

doyoung

you had been out with your friends when you realized you were close to the yg building. your friends convinced you to go say hi to doyoung, your boyfriend, but you didn’t know if you wanted to intrude on him like that. eventually though, you found yourself in front of the newly redone building. you told your friends you would catch up and sent them to continue shopping before making your way into the building. it was hard to navigate, but when you heard the loud music blaring down the hall, you knew that you were nearing your destination.

when you walked into the room, you found doyoung in the room with four other members. when you and doyoung made eye contact, he blushed. having been the youngest member in the room, he did not expect for his girlfriend to come unannounced. doyoung acted fast though, walking over to greet you with a kiss on the cheek.

“babe, you didn’t tell me you were coming.. what a pleasant surprise.. what brings you here?” he asked, a shy smile still on his face.

“i was in the area with my friends and they convinced me to come see you..” you admitted, “i didn’t want to bother you, but they insisted.. plus, i kind of, well, really wanted to see you.”

“well, i’m glad they convinced you, because i really wanted to see you too.”

haruto

if you’re being honest, it kind of just happened. while watching a romcom alone, you started to realize how much you missed haruto in that particular moment. you hadn’t given it much thought before jumping up and getting ready to leave the house. once at the yg building, the place where you and haruto had first met, you navigated the halls with ease, walking into the practice room where your boyfriend was not three minutes later. haruto was shocked to see you, but greeted you with a hug despite it all.

“what are you doing here, y/n? not that i’m not happy to see you, but-” he cut himself off before he dug himself into a hole.

with a laugh, you shrugged, “i just missed you today is all.. i didn’t think about it much, i kind of just.. came here.”

“god, you’re so cute..” he chuckled, “do you wanna see the new choreo we’re working on? it’s so cool, i think you’ll like it..”

he sounded so excited, which made you excited as well, “of course i want to see it! what are you waiting for?”

and with that, the music started playing once again.

jeongwoo

you didn’t plan to show up at the yg building, but jeongwoo missed class and you needed to bring him his work. had he answered your texts, you would have known he wasn’t home, but after a trip to the dorms with no answer, you were left with one other option. that’s what brought you here, watching your boyfriend practice through the window on the practice room door. sure, you should have assumed that he was busy, but you hadn’t been thinking straight until now. since you had already gone all the way there, you just walked into the practice room.

jeongwoo noticed you right away, calling out to you, “y/n! hi!” he said before jogging over to you, “what are you- is that schoolwork?”

“yes, it is.. they asked me to bring it to you, but i didn’t know where you were, so.. surprise?” you held the folder out to jeongwoo who took it and flipped through the pages.

“man, this sucks.. but hey, look at the bright side.. i got to see you.” he smirked a little but, prompting you to giggle.

“you’re so lame.. oh, yeah, and that’s all due tomorrow, by the way.”

“oh man.”

junghwan

this was all hyunsuk’s idea. junghwan, being the maknae of treasure, had been shy to introduce you to his members in fear of teasing. hyunsuk had taken it into his own hands, asking if you could stop by the dance studio during one of treasure’s dance practices, and you were more than happy to do so. however, as you were walking to the practice room, you started feeling nervous. you didn’t let this stop you though, as you’d take any chance to see your boyfriend. with this in mind, you walked into the practice room. when junghwan saw you, it looked as though his eyes would pop out of his head. he took quick strides towards you, his face begging the question of ‘why are you here?’

“hyunsuk invited me, if you’re wondering why i’m here.” you spoke, turning to look at all of the treasure members, “are you gonna introduce me?”

junghwan, clearly flustered, began to speak, “um.. this is my partner, y/n.. i’ve been meaning to introduce them to you guys for a while, but.. yeah.”

“nice to meet you all,” you looked up at your boyfriend, “this is more awkward than i thought it would be.”

“yeah, me too.” junghwan agreed, causing the other eleven boys to laugh.
