Please help me with my name change goal! I've wanted to change my name for ages, as my birth name does not align with my chosen name and gender identity, as well as, I come from an abusive family. Having this name gives me PTSD!!

but here's the thing.

we need to respect the other side's opinion as much as possible. if an author asks that you dont read their work, dont read their work. if a minor writes smut...unfortunately, as far as i'm aware, it's not against the law. just block them and move on with your life.

but stooping to name calling and cursing and making people depressed is not something that you should be proud of, no matter how set in your ways you are.

we all need to be ashamed, and we're all at fault. so please, have your own opinions. that's your right. but don't create more issues.

pairing: beomgyu x cici

description: when cici without, meaning to, falls into a fic, she's met with an ice prince named beomgyu, who swears to never let them go.

a/n: HAPPY BIRTHDAY,@wolfytae-exe CICI! you're such a light, and i'm so excited to call you a moot <3

cici was known for writing wonderful stories of her own, but she always wondered when she'd get her own fairytale. the smut, the fluff, the boys...none of that occurred in real life, and cici was sick of it.

one night, cici was eating chipotle alone, casually scrolling through tumblr, when a fic about beomgyu caught her attention. not that they all don't, because it had beomgyu in it, but this one seemed special.

it featured an ethereal picture of her bias, him, lips parted, looking on into her soul. so of course, cici clicked on read more.

"hello, princess."

cici startles, falling off her bed with a sharp 'ow.' coming from the floor.

"are you okay?" the voice comes into view: a boy with a handsome brown haircut, beautiful skin, and deep eyes. beomgyu.

cici blinks. "not again-" she groans. this was not the first time cici had hallucinated after no sleep and a particularly good fic.

"do you normally call princes into your room, angel?" he asks, his voice smooth, calm, and just a tiny bit amused. he reaches out a hand in an offer to help her off the floor.

"i-no..." cici mumbles, unsure if she should be talking to this ethereal mirage. then she might really be crazy.

"what's this...toombeller?" he tries to pronounce, holding up the phone, gesturing at the app.

so her hallucination knew phones, but not tumblr? interesting. one would assume it would be the other way around.

"that's tumblr, and you can read on it." cici decides to eventually tell him, sitting on the bed.

"huh." he mumbles, lips parting slightly, as he begins looking. "wait a minute- doll. this is me. why do i have books about me? WHY IS THERE SEXUAL CONTENT ABOUT ME?" he progressively gets more bothered and disturbed, waving the phone in cici's face.

"uh, well..." well, what, cici? spit it out! it cant be that hard, defend yourself!!

it had been two days since beomgyu appeared. sorry, prince beomgyu. cici had thrown away her ideas of him being a hallucination, as firstly, other people could see him, and second.....oh second.

cici felt as if she was in a whirlwhind romance. he'd charmed her just as much as idol beomgyu had.

turns out, he wasn't as silly as the beomgyu she knew, but he was just as sweet and kind. and just as good as all the tumblr writers had imagined.

he felt the same way that cici did. he was in love for the first time in his life.

he knew he should try a way to get home, but he knew his kingdom would be in good hands with his younger brother taehyun.

and so, with that thought in mind, beomgyu offered to stay.

and cici accepted.

they lived happily ever after.

the end.

extra: "HEY CICI!" beomgyu waves excitedly into the camera, and his eyes seem to meet yours through the device. "i'm so excited it's your birthday, and i know you'll do wonderful things this year, even if it is just biasing me." he winks.

"move-" a strong hand shoves beomgyu out of camera, and a pink haired taehyun appears in a simple black shirt and sweatpants, offering a sweet smile. "hi cici! happy birthday. i wish you all the best, and all the knowledge you need for this year." he waves, then leans in closer. "but i swear. this year, you are mine." he mouths, reaching up, and turning off the video message.

“you know, many people would kill to look like that,” you comment to your date, taehyun.

the two of you had been best friends for almost a year, and you knew he liked art, so he was a clear choice to have as your guest. when you decided opening your photography gallery was the next huge step in your career, taehyun had been right there for you through it all.

and the open house that you hosted this very night had turned out even better than you could have dreamed. of course, it might be partially because you had a celebrity friend there, but hey, any publicity would be good for business.

taehyun was currently tugging on his suit collar, grimacing slightly. “i should have never let yeonjun pick out my outfit.” 

“probably not, but hey, it draws attention to this great picture i took of you. and you look amazing, tae.” you assure him softly.

you point over at the black and white photo of him on the beach. his head was tilted backwards, hair slightly blowing in the wind. the meta point? it had been drizzling when you’d gone, so there was fresh dewy raindrops gliding over his face. with the quality of your camera, you could easily see the drops become embedded into his eyelashes. 

you giggle slightly as he tugs at his outfit again. “if you have such a problem with the outfit we can just take it off-“ you quip and he shoots you an amused yet silencing glare. 

“don’t make me do something about it.” he murmurs and you do a double take. 

“what?” 

“you heard me.”

“uhhh-“ your brain short circuits trying to figure out why your best friend was flirting with you. you’d made jokes before, calling each other ‘babe’ and ‘love’ ironically, but this had a waaay different ring to it. i mean, he was just a naturally dominant and flirty person...right? right??

“just shut up and kiss me.” he suddenly muttered, leaning closer even as you back away a few steps, and his eyes widen, then give a flash of sadness, his face becoming closed off.

“ah. i see. i-i’m sorry-“ he apologizes, truly sorry, but with a note of coldness in his voice.

“no- i would kiss you, tae, but the paparazzi…we can’t do this in public. if i'm going to have you, i'll have you to myself." you tell him, reaching for his arm.

he flashed a sincerely relieved and happy look at you, then nodded. there was something in your bones that just screamed at you that he was going to end up going home with you tonight.

Tubatu’s Year Long Birthday Event 🎂

Hello Moablr Writers and Readers 🩵

New year new event!! @boba-beom and I have decided to do a collaboration!! We thought this a great way to celebrate each of the boys birthdays and a way to bring the community closer. We wanted to hold a birthday writing event for TXT!! This event will be for the first 20 days of TXT’s Birthday months (February, March, August, September, December). You can pick a slot from the 1st to the 20th of the month to publish your work. This does not need to be birthday related. You can post Fics, Drabbles, headcanons, Text messages etc, SFW and NSFW work are both welcome. If you would like to participate please reblog and comment the date you would like to do it. If all 20 days get filled up and more people want to participate Just let us know and we can add you on the date you want (all 20 slots must be occupied first in order for this to happen). If writers want to do more than one post you may do so they just have to be on different days. Writers who will participate please make sure you also check out each other's work and give some positive feedback. We want the community to grow closer and just show some love to one another. 

A few things to keep in mind if you want to participate:

Writers must be 18+ in order to participate. I think this is the best way for us not to expose minors to anything NSFW related. 

Writers please make sure your age and alias are visible on your blog. 

Readers that are minors please refrain from reading anything that is tagged with NSFW and MDNI. There is only so much we can do to prevent you from reading smut. It does make us uncomfortable, so please follow that simple rule.

hi!! thanks for all the help!

but i would like to say that i was asking particularly about this one aspect of it. in terms of diversity, i’m very much aware! i’m gay, disabled, and jewish. so yes, all aspects of diversity are very very important and i consider all of these things very carefully.

but minus the last part where it implies that i only care about racial demographics, your advice was sound and thank you for the response.

COLLEGE HELP!

alright guys *deep breath*

so i'm italian-american, and i'm interested in an HBCU

one of my main values is diversity (i wont even consider a school with +70% white students) and i have no issues attending a mainly black school

however

the last thing i want to do is make any of the students uncomfortable with my presence or make them feel like once again a (mainly?) white person is invading and taking over safe spaces

so if anyone has any advice or thoughts...
