Ya know the Phandom has a distinct LACK of the ‘humans are space orcs’ concept and just- COME ON! Give me human danny IN SPACE!!! Y’all like ghosts to much to abandon it and just chuck your characters into whatever storyline you want??? ALIEN GHOSTS!!!
Yo Danny Fenton he was just fourteen, when his parents built a Very Strange Machine, it was designed to view a World Unseen. When it didn’t work his folks, they just quit! Then danny took a look inside of it, there was a Great Big Flash! Everything just CHANGED! HE GOT TELEPORTED ONTO AN ALIEN SPACECRAFT!!!!
The aliens are fuckin SCRAMBLING to figure out What The FUCK this bipedal, sassy, stressed out little guy is and HOW THE HELL IT GOT ONBORD?!??
Danny meanwhile has gone feral mode and is running around flipping furniture trying to get away from the ‘probably ghost monsters’ and ends up hiding in an air vent until the Aliens lure him out with food
They have nothing to translate each other’s languages so they communicate with tones, expressions and body language until they can teach Danny Common (a language taught in all schools so This doesn’t happen)
Now danny has alien friends and together they have to journey to Earth to get him home!!
What adventures will they have??? What cultural differences will we encounter?????? The silly misunderstandings?????? What’s the crew like?? Are they space pirates??? Outlaws?? Otherwise on the run from the Space Feds?????
It can be a crossover!!! Sleepy Bois INC enjoyers I know you have a good chunk of stories!!! And I know y’all like dcxdp you think you can make the BATFAM ALIENS??? I think you could

DANNY FENTON || DANNY PHANTOM
yo danny fenton he was just fourteen when his parents built a very strange machine...
an accident in his parent's lab changed his life (unlife? jury's still out on that one) in a way no one could've seen coming. (except for the ancients)
just your local friendly (undead?!?) superhero! or a totally normal teenager with nothing spine-chilling about him whatsoever. depends on which form you meet him in.
a geek who loves comics and video games and SPACE!!! so really your average kid, once you look past the whole... y'know
the ultimate enemy is his alternate future self that went mad with power after the destruction of amity park.... but that's future been totally avoided. he hopes.
may or may not be the next king of ghosts, high lord of infinite realms. the ancients haven't really been giving him a straight answer but that sure was the royal regalia on his future self... and fright knight was serving him.... hm.
he really just wants to be a normal kid but that's just not his lot in life! he's trying to cope.

In light of recent personal events: it doesn’t do any good to anyone when an artist makes something that is just patently offensive and disrespectful to indigenous people, and instead of people listening, they flock to protect the precious artist because they value their fandom content more than the people it steps on. I’m looking at you, Tribetale, Until Dawn, Ilvermony, half-baked Native AUs and the huge influx of Wendigo and Skinwalker OCs.
I’m making a point of mentioning that this includes artists who aren’t white as well. If you coddle someone because “where they’re from, racism isn’t talked about!” or “they can’t be racist in this way, they’re not white!” not only does it do a disservice to the artist by assuming they need to be sheltered from the Nasty World of Race Discussion, it’s pretty infantilizing that you assume they lack to the capacity to understand why what they created has some serious (read: racist) flaws. You are making it even harder for this artist to learn from their mistakes and grow as a content creator and a person by rushing to protect and shelter them rather than help them understand what went wrong, where and why.
Artists, you shoot yourselves in the foot (and. act like a racist) by making a big display of how you’re Actually Completely Innocent and Don’t Deserve to be Criticized in order to garner sympathy and avoid acknowledging that you may have done something wrong. You villainize and alienate people who want to support you and reach out to you, and you stifle yourself by stepping into in an insular bubble where no one can tell you that you’ve done something wrong without it being tantamount to an attack on you as a creator. That stops you from making better work, and it also stains your reputation as a creator! No one wins!
The interplay between content creators and content consumers is important. If an artist chooses to ignore the concerns of people their content steps on, they foster a fanbase of people who will do the same. If a fanbase chooses to become a “defense squad” for an artist who is putting out racist content, they in turn become complicit in enabling the artist to keep putting out more stale and racist content, no matter how pretty or aesthetically pleasing it looks.
Indigenous people deserve to enjoy things without being constantly othered and fetishized in fandom by Native AUs, disrespectful fans, and ignorant content creators. If you love Indigenous people as much as you say you do, then act like it and hold your peers and artists accountable for the things they do instead of trying to justify to us why it’s Actually Good and Helpful to Natives.

Me when I use the word "yo": nothing. It's a normal word.
Me when someone else uses the word "yo" in my general vicinity: Yo, Danny Fenton, he was just fourteen when his parents. built. a very strange machine. It was designed. to view. a world unseen.
When it didn't quite work, his folks, they just quit. Then Danny took a look inside of it.
There was a great big flash; everything just changed.
His molecules got all rearranged.
When he first woke up, he. re-al-ized. he had snow white hair and glowing green eyes. He could walk through walls, disappear, and fly. He was much more unique than the other guy.
It was then that he knew. what he had to do. He had to stop all the ghosts that were coming through. He's here to fight. for me and you.
He's. gonna catch 'em all 'cause he's Danny Phantom, gonna catch 'em all 'cause he's Danny Phantom, gonna catch 'em all 'cause he's
Danny Phantom

He's a phantom (Danny Phantom)
Yo Danny Phantom, he was just fourteen
When his parents built a very strange machine
It was designed to view a world unseen
He's gonna catch 'em all cause he is Danny Phantom
When it didn't quite work as supposed they just quit, and Danny took a look inside of it
There was a great big flash, everything just changed
His molecules got all rearranged (phantom, phantom)
When he first woke up he realized he had snow white hair and glowing green eyes
He could walk through walls, disappear and fly
He was much more unique than the other guys
It was then Danny knew what he had to do
He had to stop all the ghosts that were coming through
He is here to fight for me and you
He's gonna catch 'em all cause he is Danny Phantom
As he came into the window
Was the sound of a crescendo
He came into her apartment
He left the bloodstains on the carpet
She ran underneath the table
He could see she was unable
So she ran into the bedroom
She was struck down, it was her doom
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay?
Will you tell us that you're okay?
There's a sound at the window
Then he struck you, a crescendo Annie
He came into your apartment
He left the bloodstains on the carpet
And then you ran into the bedroom
You were struck down
It was your doom
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?
You've been hit by-
You've been hit by-
A smooth criminal
So they came in to the outway
It was Sunday, what a black day
Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation
Sounding heartbeats, intimidation
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay?
So, Annie, are you okay? Are you okay, Annie?
Annie, are you okay?
Will you tell us that you're okay?
There's a sound at the window
That he struck you a crescendo Annie
He came into your apartment
He left the bloodstains on the carpet
Then you ran into the bedroom
You were struck down
It was your doom
Annie, are you okay? So, Annie, are you okay?
Are you okay, Annie?
You've been hit by-
You've been struck by-
A smooth criminal
Okay, I want everybody to clear the area right now
Annie, are you okay? (I don't know)
Will you tell us, that you're okay? (I don't know)
There's a sound at the window (I don't know)
Then he struck you, a crescendo Annie (I don't know)
He came into your apartment (I don't know)
Left bloodstains on the carpet (I don't know why, baby)
And then you ran into the bedroom (help me)
You were struck down
It was your doom, Annie (dag gone it)
Annie, are you okay? (Dag gone it-baby)
Will you tell us that you're okay? (Dag gone it-baby)
There's a sound at the window (dag gone it-baby)
Then he struck you, a crescendo Annie
He came into your apartment (dag gone it)
Left bloodstains on the carpet (hoo, hoo, hoo)
And then you ran into the bedroom
You were struck down (dag gone it)
It was your doom Annie

Day 18: Music
Tucker leaned in close to the microphone. “Yo, Danny Fenton, he was just fourteen—”
“Cut,” said Danny from across Tucker’s room that had been temporarily turned into a recording studio complete with soundproofing panels and mixing equipment. “Let’s try that again. From the top.”
“What? Why?” asked Tucker. “I was really feeling that take.”
“Yeah, I know. You sounded fine, but you pronounced the first word kind of weird. So just start again.”
Tucker shrugged and listened intently to the music coming through his headphones. “Yo, Danny Fenton, he was just—”
“Cut.” Danny glared at him. “Tucker, you did it again. Why are you pronouncing ‘young’ so weird?”
“Probably because I’m not saying ‘young.’”
“What? Then what are you saying?”
“‘Yo.’”
Danny creased his brow. “But...why?”
“Because it sounds better. It fits the rhythm better.”
“Okay, but it’s not ‘yo.’ It’s ‘young.’”
“Dude, trust me. ‘Yo’ is better.”
“But it’s not ‘yo.’” Danny pouted. “Look, I worked really hard on these lyrics. Please just sing them right.”
Tucker rolled his eyes. “Okay, okay.”
Danny started the music again. Tucker bobbed his head in time to the beat.
“Yo, Danny Fenton, he was—”
“Tucker!” yelled Danny.
“I’m sorry, I can’t help it!” Tucker held up his hands defensively. “‘Yo’ just sounds so much better.”
Danny crossed his arms and sulked.
***
“Young Danny Fenton, I was just fourteen when my parents built a very strange machine,” Danny sang to himself as he threw a punch right at Ember’s face. She ducked and swung her guitar at his legs.
“It was designed to view a world unseen,” he whispered, gliding over her instrument.
She jumped back a few feet.
“When it didn’t quite work, my folks, they just quit. But then I took a look inside of it.”
He rushed at her, fists glowing.
“There was a great big flash, everything just changed. My molecules got all rearranged.”
She ducked again, his fist sailing through her fiery hair. He recoiled from the burning pain.
“When I first woke up, I realized I had snow white hair and glowing green eyes,” he gasped while shaking out his hand.
She phased through the floor and reappeared behind him
“I could walk through walls, disappear, and fly. I was much more unique than the other guys.”
He turned just in time to catch her guitar mid-swing in his non-burned hand.
“It was then that I knew what I had to do. I had to stop all the ghosts that were coming through. I’m here to fight for you and you!”
He managed to wrench the guitar from her hands and fling it off to the side.
“I’m gonna catch ‘em all ‘cause I’m Danny Phantom.” He came at her with a succession of punches, mumbling under his breath. “Gonna catch ‘em all ‘cause I’m Danny Phantom. Gonna catch ‘em all ‘cause I’m—”
“Are you doing your own theme music?” asked Ember, blocking each of his punches.
Danny stopped and grinned. “Yeah! I wrote it myself. What do you think?”
“It’s actually pretty good.”
“Yeah? You think so?”
Ember pursed her lips. “But you know, that first word. I think it’d be better if it was ‘yo’ instead of ‘young.’ Like it’d just have better cadence, you know?”
Danny’s grin remained but his eye twitched. His fists filled with intense ectoplasmic energy.
