okay so I feel like Taylor saying that now she relates to The Place In This World more than she did when she wrote the song is so true because I feel like, she honestly has no idea anymore what she wants and where to go with her life. I feel like, before the pandemic, her main goal was finding a true love, someone who would accept her for who she is, someone who would handle her fame, get to know if the creativity is gone when the love isn't burning red but is golden like daylight, and I can't blame her for that cause her whole personality was made of a heartbreak. Like literally. She was dealing with demons all the time, even when we thought she's happy and content (1989 era). All of sudden she got 'cancelled' by the general public, she disappeared but it's not like she was forced to do that - she wanted to do that cause she hated being famous, she hated attention and she hated the spotlight. She had no idea if she felt strong enough to record music and tour again and during this time, she found her love and she got to know how it is to live a normal life, far away from the camer flashes. She chose that she didn't want to be seen - I think it's the key. She chose that. It was what she needed back then. And then she recorded reputation, the tour was the massive success, she started to come back slowly, be more present, ON HER OWN TERMS. And I think that pandemic was something that changed everything, like the balance she (they) had in life. She was preparing for the Lover Fest, she wanted to tour, and all of sudden it was taken away from her, but this time not on her own terms, this time she was forced to put her career on the shelf cause we had a global pandemic happening. Her life drifted into 'normal, boring life' direction and she started to miss the spotlights, crowds, success, and once the covid was 'gone' I think she was so thirsty of performing, releasing music, creating new things, new music videos etc that she kind of lost a balance. And I am not saying it's a bad thing, she missed us so much cause we were with her from the very beginning, and she's ambitious, talented woman who can achive way more than she has already achieved, but I simply think that because of this longing, it all happened so rapidly that they both couldn't keep up with it and that is why they grew apart. But yeah I really really think this break up and maybe in the time leading up to it as well has Taylor feeling really lost, and it makes sense, coming out of such a long relationship that filled your daily life as well as long term plans for the future. I keep coming back to that Someone great movie and death by a thousand cuts, it‘s like who am I without you and figuring that out again is a process. Obviously she‘s Taylor swift but who she is in private outside of the public eye.

It’s been so long and I am trying to remember what they even belong to. I also need to get back into that fandom, because it is hard for me to write content on a fandom I haven’t thought about in a while.

I am 30 and I really only have two days to myself which are Monday’s and Thursday’s. I work two back to back 12hr shifts {Friday to Saturday } then { Saturday to Sunday} I’m extremely tired.

Then I work my 12 hrs from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning.

So please, I am not trying to be an asshole but please do not keep sending me the same message over and over asking me when I am going to get something out.

It makes me feel like crap for not putting it out and just keep on getting badgered makes me not want to write it.

I’m sorry, I’m not trying to be an asshole but this is just how I am feeling.

ahhh i can’t wait to see what people think of chapter 5. easily the worst hanma treats reader in act 1 of the story (arguably the worst in the whole story). And this is also very much the borderline where we’re moving into act 2.

i had so much fun with this one. just so many little allusions and details packed into the writing that i want to scream about into the abyss. (and have mostly just been screaming nonsensically at my confused sister instead)

Like the horses: Mezuki is the name of a horse-headed demon in Japanese mythology; Hiro’s Hero is a play on words (obviously) but also an allusion to Darling in the Franxx which I watched recently. Smooth Criminal because I think that would be hilarious and is just the kind of name they give racehorses.

Or talking about the dad bribing his kids at the track with candy. My dad - a gambling addict - always bought me an ice cream sundae at the track lol. Please don’t gamble. It is seriously a disease.

writing from hanma’s pov is so much harder because his thought processes are erratic and i try to write him with more detachment and symbolic language, but some of my favorite metaphors and symbols of the story came about in this chapter (like the tangled necklaces and the horse blinders).

and i literally want to frame the line 'preening primadonnas' to describe racehorses. like, i'm sorry to toot my own horn, but that is a LINE.

the **spoiler** sex scene. that is not one of my kinks at all. but it just felt so obvious once i started writing, and then it felt so obvious that oh yeah, hanma’s actually a giant switch for reader isn’t he? And I just love it. I am not even ashamed to gush over how proud i am of this chapter after all the pain and suffering it put me through to get to this point.

may chapter 6 be just as good and half as hard!

Wren’s here by her  own choice.  The Reapers are coming; the galaxy cannot risk a human-batarian full-blown war, not when they need to unite people, not divide them. If Nihlus thinks he can just waltz in and make a fuckery of it all...

As much as she doesn’t want to be apart from him, as much as she wants to be out there, working, she’s furious. A little panicked, maybe. This is where she needs to be, this is how she needs to make amends, and she doesn’t know what she will do with herself if he’s here to take it all away from her.
