(Info: bird family-Vultures, Dragon family-dragons. This is after flowers death and before they got found by humans. They were on a huge island, The vultures daughter Aella (is 10.)

The vultures always gotten comments about how they act, they are too chaotic. Too energetic. But did they really care? No.

but their daughter, Aella did.

“How Can you just let them call our family names?” Aella complained to her mother, throwing a tantrum. Her mother rolled her eyes “oh grow up Aella, it’s how we are and it’s bound to happen. They’re just jealous that they aren’t us.” Her mother chuckled.

It didn’t help, it just made Aella frustrated and confused. “What—you know what? Never mind!” She turned around and flew to the main part of the island. She sees the dragons and the bats. She run’s towards him waving hello.

The dragons looked at her and groaned. The bats welcomed her in though with a smile. “Please, don’t yell in my ear. I can’t deal with that right now.” The mother of the dragons stated loudly as she glared at Aella with a scowl in her face.

That made soured Aella mood and made her more frustrated again “What? You don’t even—“ “Shut it.” The dragons cut her off. The bats sighed and the mother of the bats took Aella to the river so they can talk.

“Listen Aella, you know how the dragons are. but I do agree with them, not the mean stuff! but you are loud and…chaotic. I mean, it’s who you and your family are but. I see you not being like them. Can you be quiet for a while?” The mother honeyed voice did not slide with Aella.

But she didn’t say anything and just nodded. She sees the mother walks off and she scowls mumbling something underneath her breath. She sits down and looks at the river.

She sees a pair of eyes looking at her and she gets startled and laughs. “Siren!” The mother of the sirens get out of the water, well half of her body. The rest is in the water as the upper half is on the land.

“I heard everything, you okay dear?” She asked softly. Aella sighed and shake her head. “No, I don’t like how my family gets made fun of and my mother dosent do anything! She says they are jealous but I don’t even understand.” Aella put her knees to her chest and her head on her knees sighing again.

“I dont know why your mother is like that, but you are nothing like her. Like the bat said, you aren’t like your family.” The siren says and it makes Aella looks at her, the siren put her hand on her cheek.

“I’m not loud? I’m not annoying?” Aella asked as her wings started moving in happiness. “Yes dear.” Though Aella noticed the fake smile and the twitch her right eye did, Aella didn’t think much of it though.

Aella smiled and stood up. “I just don’t get it, why would they hate us? Aren’t we all the same, we are all half-half’s so why am I getting treated—“ she got cut off when the siren grabbed her jaw harshly and forced her to look at her.

“Listen here, No one actually ‘loves’ each-other here. No one actually cares about each other, you think the dragons care about us? Don’t be an idiot. We just live together and protect each-other because we are half-Half’s and humans treat us like shit. You, the vultures are just like the spiders. If you don’t want to end up like flower, I suggest you shut it.” The siren sneered and went back in the water leaving Aella in tears.
