Iām getting some drabbles done, so thatās good. Iām trying to get back into my novel work mostly, and thatās where I am falling the most despite putting in a bunch of energy and time into outlines and plot points lately. I donāt know what it is, but Iām kind of subconsciously blocking myself from getting them done. Itās complicated in a way, but I have a feeling you might get it in regards to writing fanfic and the like.Ā

Awww this is the nicest anon Iāve ever received hahaā¤ā¤ thank you, truly! Iāve always had such an intimate yet objective relationship with most of the literature I read and asoiaf is no exception. I genuinely donāt feel the need to condemn or as you said, indict fictional characters, that despite their unsavoury or scandalous nature make the books such a pleasure to read. Iāve always firmly believed in the authorās prerogative, something I attest most strenuously to. Literature is meant to provoke and enliven and invigorate, but it shouldnāt be so polarizing that we start forming malicious factions against one other. I wish people didnāt project to the more insidious aspects of the books, and didnāt take it so personally lmao and I genuinely wish more people approached it from a more lighthearted and uncondemning way, it would make discourse so much more fun. The ones who do are seriously so awesome.
