Hello, I'm the one who submitted the "Harold has Asperger's Syndrome" headcanon. I didn't mean for it to sound "ableist" or to offend anyone with it or anything (I'm autistic myself, BTW), the reason I said that instead of just "Harold has autism" was because I thought saying he had "Asperger's syndrome" would be better-fitting for the hc, as it was more specific (from what I read online, Asperger's and autism are two different things, though I may be wrong). Again I apologize if it sounded bad
I understand what you meant to do, so no harm, no foul towards my end, at least.
But, in 2013, the DSM-5 combined Asperger syndrome, Rett disorder, PDD-NOS, and a bunch of other autistic “microlabels” into ASD, or Autism spectrum disorder. It was made into this new format so it would be easier to diagnose people who may not present as “outwardly autistic” while also still fitting diagnosis criterion (i.e. persistent, transituational deficits in social communication and interaction).
For example, I’m incredibly great at social interaction because I can sense the energy within a room quickly and then imitate the actions of people around me. My mind sees patterns in everything, which is probably also the reason why I’m good at statistics despite being terrible at anything else related to math lol. When it comes to sarcasm, however, I do not understand that at all. I've been in three different courses with this one art professor who uses sarcasm a lot and generally very joke-y (I love him tsm). To this very day, I still don’t know whether or not he’s being sarcastic whenever he talks.
Yeah, so that’s why people prefer to call specific autistic disorders as simply autism. It’s a weird condition that can present in vastly different ways in different people.

Sorry for bothering you but the name "Aspergers syndrome" is really ableist and named after terrible person and i think you should change it to just "autistic"
Nah, it's no big deal! I debated about changing the post to say "autistic" when it was still in the queue. Ultimately, I left it in case the requester was autistic and reclaiming the word for themselves. I don't personally reclaim "Asperger/s syndrome" or any variation (i.e. aspie) for myself, but I know irl people that do. Kinda like the word "queer" in that some people reclaim it and others don't.
I'll edit the request tonight since I'm at work atm.

@ the anon who spammed my inbox claiming that I’m a pedophile because I read TD porn and jokingly admitted it to doing so on a post from almost a year ago:
You need to do a better job at harassing me because my stomach and chest hurt from laughing so much at your pathetic ass. Literally made my day tbh. Also, I don’t care if I’m not popular within the fandom, this blog is mostly for my enjoyment as a queer disabled TD fan. Besides, there’s some underrated af blogs on here (*cough, @td-worrisometruths and @totaldramablueyonder, cough*) that clearly need more appreciation than me.

Duncan uses pri/prin/prins pronouns for prinself!
(I could find only one flag for this pronoun set and wasn’t particularly liking it due to the odd color scheme, so I ended up making one instead! Yep, a 500x500 png and a full description with color meanings will be in the “Keep reading” below.)
Pri/prin and/or prin/prins pronoun flag!
Color meanings:
Navy blue (dark blue) - wealth and rarity, as such pigments were not only quite expensive, but also had to be mined from specific locations during ancient times (i.e. lapis lazuli)
Maroon (dark red) - courage, as many countries use this color in their flags (usually because of the sacrifices a nation faced to claim independence)
Gold, dark gold, and light golden brown (medium yellow, dark yellow, and brown) - for the color of, well, gold, as it’s precious metal and often associated with royalty due conveying a sense of grandeur, sophistication, and wealth to the wearer
Color order: Dark blue, dark red, medium yellow, dark yellow, brown, dark red, and dark blue
(Completely free to use for any reason, on or off Tumblr, as long as I’m credited, please!)

Hey everyone! I know it’s been of spotty in terms of my posting schedule, which has led to some concern. Well, while I do appreciate the messages, I’m all good <3.
*cue fanfare* In fact, I’m doing great atm!
I have officially returned back to school for the first time in almost two years since the pandemic began. Yep, I still can’t believe that I’m taking all of my classes in-person, either. It’s so weird not wearing pajamas everyday lol.
So, yeah, that’s why I’ve been flaky lately. Depending on how much more busy I become, I may have to lower the queue amount to one post a day from two posts. It sucks major chicken butt, but between juggling senior coursework, taking care of my grandma, and an art therapy internship, I need to step back from here a bit. Not anything against Tumblr or the fandom on this site—it’s a me thing. I just got a life outside of my computer that needs my full attention rn.
