My Ramshackle uniforms

Some extra notes about the uniforms:

☆ Most of my colour scheme came from the lounge in Ramshackle and the Ghost Camera. I wanted to have more de-saturated colours to give the uniforms a sort of old look.

☆ Besides the white and black torn bows which are directly taken from Grim's, I also wanted there to be a lot of stripes in the outfits because they would fit with Grim's bow.

☆ While the normal dorm members have the bow around their neck, the dorm leader has it around their top hat - They have a top hat like the ghosts that also live in Ramshackle.

☆ I added many Mickey heads into the design because Ramshackle is based on Mickey's house. I kinda wanted Ramshackle to be like Mickey's dorm.

☆ There are a couple torn things in the uniforms because the dorm's name is "Ramshackle" and that literally means something (especially a house or vehicle) in severe despair.

☆ The keys around the dorm leader's waist reference Crowley's keys. Since the members of the Ramshackle dorm are like Crowley's errand runners I wanted there to be some connection in their outfits.

☆ Most dorm leaders have a cape or something close to it and I didn't want Yu to be left out. It's more of a cape than anything since you just clip it around the neck - I hate wearing jackets or blazers with puffy sleeves so I didn't make it a jacket. Grim also has a matching one but without a tail. This was an accident but the tail of the Ramshackle dorm leader looks like the one Crowley has but reversed and without feathers.

☆ The dorm leader staff doesn't have a gem since Yu can't use magic, but it is extendable and is made of metal so if someone messes with them too much they can just whack them unconscious. The end of the staff also has a taser which is controlled by a button on the staff so Yu can defend themselves.

☆ ^ The staff can also hold lanterns with Mickey's ear. I added this because Yu is like the "guide" for NRC, especially with how they help the overblot guys.

☆ The dorm members' uniforms are just simpler versions of the dorm leaders.

Meet Cassandra Santos Phiri, one of the Twisted Spellbooks muses 🎶

The only girl student in the all boys school said to hail from another world. Somehow this hot-tempered outcast has managed to not only survive in a school full of aggressive magical students, but she’s also managed to gain a new family. Surviving 6 overblots as well, this vice-house warden of Ramshackle seems to be able to take anything the world throws at her. The only question is, how come she has magic?

“Ugh… Why’d I have to get put in Ramshackle? Couldn’t I have gone to Pomefiore - Or even Savanaclaw would do! … Oh, I should stop complaining, at least I ended up with Yu. It could be worse”

Personality:

Where does one begin when describing Cass? She’s very outspoken and is not afraid to stand up about what she thinks is right. Despite knowing Nrc is an all boys school she doesn’t care much about hiding the fact that she’s a girl, she’s confident in her fighting skills and isn’t scared to defend herself or her friends. She has a small circle of friends, but she’s very open and caring about said friends. Unlike her friend, Yu, she doesn’t care much about keeping quiet about her past.

She’s very curious in general, and especially so about the knew world she’s found herself in. However, she’s never been very book smart, thought what she lacks in academically she makes up for with her strength, determination, and power. She’s not fully proficient with her magic yet but she swears she’s going to master it one day.

She’s gotten very used to being dragged into differ predicaments because of Yu and has sort of adopted the role of “bad cop” to their “good cop”. Where Yu is unapologetically kind and forgiving, Cass is rude and doesn’t give any second chances. However, she’s still a young adult after all, she’s not like that all of the time.

Like Yu, Cass is not okay with people messing with her friends. And she is definitely not afraid to step up and defend them when they can’t themselves. Even if she knows full well that her friend can defend themselves, she can’t help but step in.

Cass is practically 99% sure that she’s influenced Yu’s more flirty and teasing side, and so is Yu, but it doesn’t bother them much since they’re both just having fun. Like Yu, Cass loves teasing her friends and giving them nicknames. Though, if only there were other girls in NRC she’d be able to let her more flirty side out too. She’s very prideful and doesn’t like saying that she’s wrong or that she made a mistake but she knows it’s important and that she can’t grow as a person if she doesn’t. If one of her friends talks to her about something that she’s been doing and it’s bothering them she’ll immediately swallow her pride and apologise. But Cass also believes that actions say more than words, so she’ll also often make an effort to show that she’s trying to get better

History:

Not much is known about Cass’s past but for different reasons compared to Yu. Cass doesn’t really care about spilling stuff about her past, but it just never really comes up in conversation. Plus, Cass says that she prefers focusing on the present.

Here are a few things that she has mentioned:

- She has younger siblings (she’s the oldest)

- She was the reason Yu started partying

- She and Yu have been friends since forever (her words)

- She used to take Judo lessons, said it was for self-defense

- Was actually supposed to get more piercings but just never went through with it

- She was never a top student in school since she could never pay attention in class, however she was very popular

- She was the reason Yu got their first tattoo (they did a bet and she won)

No... Why would you do this to me... I love all of them equally.

jk, I don't. Though I have a hard time ranking them since my preferences change, like 24/7, this is how I would currently rank them.

Leona - He's actually climbed the ranks, recently I've been reading a lot of character analysis and stuff like that and I genuinely enjoy him as a character. He has a lot of potentials it's just that it wasn't really explored well in the actual story. He's also hot and very attractive.

Ace & Deuce - How can I not love them, they were two of the first characters we were actually introduced to and I am a sucker for the main character's best friends. But they're both so silly and goofy and I just love them even if they are annoying and always cause trouble *cough* Ace *cough*

Jack - I have a thing for tsunderes. Also he's super cute

Kalim - Super cute I love him he's my silly. I just love happy over the top characters they are my joy. His backstory is also very sad and I sympathise a lot with him, if you actually look past his happy-go-lucky exterior there's a lot of potential for angst.

Ruggie - He's also just super cute and can you tell I kinda have a thing 4 beastmen? Anyway I enjoy him, I also enjoy his backstory. As I said with Kalim there's a lot of potential for angst with him as well, and I love seeing characters suffer.

I count Ace and Deuce as one lol

These were really dumb explanations because really I don't have a reason for most of the characters I like. It's mostly that I just wake up one day and I say: "Hmm, yeah, I'm gonna love [insert character] today." So my reasons are kind of dumb

The magicless student who is said to hail from another world. Somehow this passive outcast has managed to not only survive in a school full of aggressive magical students, but they have won the hearts of a few of them as well. Personality:

Yu is a complex person. They seem to have many different sides and seem to be able to switch on a dime. To everyone in NRC, they’re a kind student who is willing to help basically everyone. But they don’t bend to the whims of anyone - or practically anyone, Yu does have some exceptions. To mistake Yu’s kindness for the same softness that comes with naïvety is idiotic. However, most NRC students have made it clear that thinking isn’t always one of their strong suits. The lack of open hostility Yu has does not mean they can be commanded.

While they aren’t naïve, they often tend to be too kind and forgiving. Yu seems like an ever-flowing fountain of kindness and forgiveness. Unlike Cass, Yu really believes in second chances. When asked, the only thing Yu says is that life’s too short to be filled with resentment.

If most NRC students were to say whether they thought Yu was a follower or a leader, most would put them as a follower for their more passive nature. However, Yu’s very much the opposite. They can’t really stand being told what to do and will do what they want/need to do how they want to do it. They also come off as a natural leader, especially with their friends practically standing at attention every time they say something.

They’re very curious about the new world and seemingly has a thirst for knowledge. However, their curiosity that they have seems to cause them to get into different predicaments. They’re kind and help people without expecting anything in return, which is quite uncommon in NRC. Somehow they can end up being friends with anyone.

However, Yu is definitely not against teasing and being a little rude when It’s needed. And if you mess with one of their friends you better hope that you wake up the next day. Except, unlike their friends, they tend to use more underhanded and manipulative ways, since they don’t really like fighting or getting their hands dirty.

Yu loves to tease their friends and often calls their friends by pet names, when asked they just respond with “why not.” They have quite the flirty personality and can’t help but let their days of partying affect them.

Despite them being so kind they aren’t afraid of saying what they think and being vulgar if they feel like it's needed.

They’re very secretive about their past, often re-directing the conversation when people try to ask anything about their time before they started NRC. However, there seem to be some people who are exceptions to this.

History:

Not much is known about their past, simply because Yu seems to refuse to talk to anybody about their past. Though there are exceptions, like Cass- for example. Yu’s childhood friend and platonic soulmate who also came from the same world as Yu. They seem willing to share just about everything with her, past included. Then we have the Adeuce duo + Grim who also seem to be exemptions to this self-imposed rule of theirs.

However, there appears to be some information about they’re past they seem to be slightly willing to share, and it is this:

- They used to have a sister

- They used to party, a lot

- Cass and them have been friends for years

Does Sorin use any of the elements of Teyvat? If so, which ones does he prefer using?

Well, technically he does- but he does so without needing to even connect with any of the elements. In his spellbook he has a few pages of just spells (obviously). These range from offense/defenisve spells to healing ones, each of these spells have one element they need for Sorin to be able to complete the spell.

For example, to cast a fire ball spell he'll obviously need something directly connected with the pyro element for him to complete the spell. So he'll hold the pyro element connected thing in one hand while h reads out the incantation. In the hand where he's holding the pyro connected thing the spell will form- so he'll just need to raise his arm and open his hand to shot a few fire balls.

Anyways, he definitely has a strong preference for hydro related spells. He says that they're easier to control and shape to ones own will. He also just has a preference for water.

Summary : Sorin one day wakes up on a beach northeast of Mondstadt with two others. A traveler from another world and a floating travel guide. Together they explore Teyvat and save the different nations. Though, perhaps on their journey they'll find out that there has been something darker has been going on. Will they let their curiosity get the better of them and try to find out what has been going on, or will they turn a blind eye and continue on until they can't anymore?

"Nk joj oz gmgot", they say looking out the window. "O qtuc, juky nk tuz qtuc zngz nk corr xkikobk gt kbkt cuxyk vatoynsktz tuc?" One responds while scoffing. "Vkxngvy, zngz oy cngz nk cgtzy", One suggests unhelpfully. "[REDACTED] oy zgrqotm zu nos, ck payz ngbk zu mobk uaz znk vatoynsktz tuznotm suxk. Ck ynuarj tuz huznkx uaxykrbky cozn znkyk sktogr zgyqy", the highest one states, and the others nod in agreement. They all turn towards the door expectantly.

“You know you are not allowed to interfere with the mortals”, [REDACTED] said looking down at [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] knew this, he just couldn’t help it. They were just so fascinating. The way they seemed to survive any hardship, and their determination. Not to mention those mortals in Khaenri’ah who seemed to reject the gods but still live on. “I hope you are listening right now [REDACTED], this is the third time you’ve done this. The only reason you’re still here is because the [REDACTED] pities you”, they said coldly. Gods weren’t supposed to feel, that was only something mortals did, but [REDACTED] could only assume that the sharp stabbing in what was supposed to be his heart could only indicate that it was sadness. Or perhaps disappointment. He pushed that thought aside. Now is not the time to be weak. As [REDACTED] stares into their eyes he can’t see anything except for a void- an empty abyss of nothingness.

No emotions.

No nothing.

Exactly how a god was supposed to be. How he was supposed to be.

“I am, and I know that. I’m telling you it won’t happen again”, he finally says and in response, they just scoff: “That’s what you say every time.” They start walking toward judgment, and he followed shortly after holding tightly to his book. He could feel his fingers tremble the closer he got to judgment. He could barely lift his gaze from the ground as he heard the doors open and the light shines through.

He just wishes that he’ll get to keep his book after the punishment.

It was empty.

Dark too.

[REDACTED] checked that he still had his book. Once he confirmed that he looked around but he seemed to be the only one there.

“You are the only one here”, a voice suddenly echoed. The voice had no body, at least not one he could see. “There’s no point looking around”, it continued. “Where am I?” he asked. “Nowhere, yet everywhere at the same time. You are in the space between space and time. This is the Far Reach”, the voice announced. [REDACTED] had never heard of a place like that before.

A place between space and time? How would that even work?

[REDACTED] pushed away his questions, he could ask those later. There were more important questions to be asked. “I know you have a lot of questions. But everything will come in due time. For now, I’ll explain why you are here”, the voice pauses for what [REDACTED] assumes is dramatic effect before it continues: “This is your punishment.”

That surprises him. What kind of punishment was this? Were they just going to leave him here for a while? That can’t be it, he thinks, they’ve given him worse punishments before. Is this a joke? He thinks before crossing off that thought completely, the gods don’t joke. “I can sense some doubt in you. Does this not live up to your expectation of a proper punishment?” It asks though it sounds more like a statement than a question. It didn’t. In all honestly [REDACTED] was expecting a lot more than... Well, whatever this was. “As expected”, the voice cut through, “the [REDACTED] suspected a normal punishment wouldn’t be enough for you. This would have been enough to make most gods start crying, I suppose you are different.”

Crying?

That’s one thing [REDACTED] didn’t expect to hear. Just being in this place would have made gods cry? His eyebrows furrowed at the thought. “Well, worry not. For this is just where you will reside until we are able to give you your punishment”, the voice continued. “As for how long it will take, we are unsure. Though, you will understand when the time comes.” Then as soon as the voice said that it disappeared. “Wait! I still have questions”, [REDACTED] shouted but the silence was his only response. Guess I’ll just have to wait, he sighed as he sat down. The ground was weird, he realized, felt like water but wasn’t wet. This place just becomes odder and odder.

He thought of just using his spell to teleport to the mortals' realm but ultimately decided against it. He didn’t really want to anger the [REDACTED] any more than he already had. So he just resigned himself to his fate and waited.

And waited.

It felt like seven moons had gone by but nothing had happened- or changed. He was still stuck in the empty void with the weird floor. But he didn’t even have the voice to distract himself with. It hadn’t come back even once since it left and [REDACTED] can’t help but wonder if something happened to it. Though, thinking about it logically, he doubts anyone could really do anything to a voice. He groans as he rolls around on the ground still trying to get used to the odd sensations that come with it. Been here for seven moons and I’m still not used to it. He hums to himself. Though, I doubt seven moons have actually passed- time probably works differently here. If at all. I am in a place between space and time.

Letting himself get lost in his own head once again he fails to notice the white light seemingly engulfing the once dark and empty void. Nor does he seem to notice how his head gets hazier and hazier.

Sorin tends to talk quickly and hop from topic to topic with his short attention span. He loves everything and anything new or unique and often tends stay up all night doing something until he get’s bored and moves on. Once he deems something boring, he has no need for it anymore- wether that be an object, hobby, or even person. Though the one thing he seems to never get tired of is writing.

Most times you can see him with his head stuck in a book- the book being either some random novel that caught his interest or the spellbook- and during these times it’s almost impossible to get him to return to reality.

Though, even with his aloof nature there are times where his anger get’s the best of him, and those are the times you would wan’t to stay clear of him. For even with how much he’s a pacifist and prefers being a spectator during conflict there are a few times where his moral’s and personal belief’s tend to take control.

History :

Nobody really knows where he came from, not even himself. If you asked him to tell you anything about him or his life before he started wandering he wouldn’t be able to tell you anything except for a few places. The earliest thing he can remember is waking up on the northern beach of Mondstadt with a book tightly held close to his chest. The book was the Twisted Spellbook and kept on beckoning Sorin to “tell it his stories”, according to Sorin. But, he never really cared about his history when there was so much more right in front of him.

Well, to some it can be seen as quite ironic how the writer who seems to love stories more than life itself can’t bother to care about his own.

# For some reason he seems to resemble a jellyfish- in more ways than one.

# When he found out about the Fatui he kept oh trying to find ways to meet the harbingers because he thought they were “interesting”.

# He doesn’t really believe in the gods but rather the “strength” of mankind. Though enjoys the company and stories of the archons. (He’s super suspicious of Celestia though).

# Horrible at wind-gliding. Honestly, he’s just terribly afraid of being above ground.

# Even though he always seems aloof and distracted, he’s in reality very observant and seems to be able to notice even the smallest details. People never seem to be able to sneak up on him or anything.

# He has terrible sense of humor and laughs at basically everything.

# He loves trying new recipes from different regions, really enjoys sour and spicy food.

# Doesn’t like cold temperatures, he’s very cold in general so being in cool temperatures doesn’t help. He hates going to Dragonspine and always has to have someone with a pyro vision and who is very warm with him every time.

# The spellbook has a few pages that include actual spells. They range from offensive spells to healing magic, they seem to mainly use hydro though.
