beyond repair - a poem
He had to convince himself that he wasn’t a criminal stealing her heart, and carelessly losing it. Deep down, he knew what a reckless man he could be and though he knew that she was trying to fix him, he knew he was beyond repair. Her heart was found crushed in the crossfire and she had to convince herself that she was fine living without it.

answer - a poem
I do see now, how foolish I must have looked. It took me ages to realise you were never really my problem. I treated you like a complex mathematical problem that had to be solved. If anything, you only had the problems, all with no answer.

If I could read these poems aloud one day, I think a whole ass cow would be lifted off my shoulders.

scary things - a poem
I don’t need to play-pretend or make believe for one day to sought for a fright. Halloween. There are enough scary things; monsters under my bed, and voices in my head that keep me up at night.
✰ - k. I'm aware that Halloween was a few days ago, however, I completely forgot about this idea that I started just before it.

renaissance age - a poem
If you were to exist in the Renaissance Age, I bet you were to be adored; sculpted like a Roman emperor, that would still be looked at in this day and age. Can I see your brush strokes? I want to see you up close, all the fine details and flaws. They confined you in glass so you wouldn't deteriorate. Nevertheless, over the years you’ve collected dust, cracks and rust. Everyone pays hundreds to admire you from afar; like you're a timeless work of art.
✰ - k.
I have a strong fascination with the Renaissance Era, but I always struggle to spell it.

hoax - a poem
I'm sick and tired of your philosophies I'm tired of hearing you announce "I should be in therapy" out of everyone, right? trust me, I know. You broke my bones with the words you spoke I'm bending them back into place you know it takes a while, and it still aches when I see your face Your voice was laced with irony cause you didn't have to leave, but you did anyway I didn't beg you to stay. You treated me like I was a joke were we just a hoax?
✰ - k.
I'm noticing I'm trying to incorporate rhyming more into my poems. I hope its working well ☻

melancholia - a poem
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drowned out by melancholia. So much so that, I’ve accepted her presence, and made a bed for her in my home. I’ve known people who consider melancholia to be a foreign feeling. But for me, she’s an old friend, who keeps weaving in and out of my life teaching me something new every time. Me and melancholia go way back. We often have sleepovers. She mostly just keeps me up, as we sit in each other's company. Sometimes, she’ll visit me on days I never would expect, and she often overstays her welcome. I've grown to accept her untimely visits. They say it’s a fleeting feeling, but they don’t know her the way I do. Me and melancholia are best friends.

Literally just pulled this out of nowhere but I'm fond of it. It's literally 4:30 a.m.; I think it's time to zzz.
