IRONHEART LEAKS

Alden Ehrenreich will play Obadiah Stane's son, Zeke. He goes by the alias: Joe McGillicuddy. He's a "tech ethicist" who can also make a world famous jam out of persimmons. He's the kind of guy who attends adult space camp; an overall pushover who gets walked all over.

Riri goes to him for his secret stash of black market tech to hopefully upgrade her armor.

Everything I've heard about Alden Ehrenreich's character in IRONHEART makes me think he's going to be a fan favorite.

#ThatsMyJam #persimmon #jam 😂 We had a giant bag of #persimmons at home that mom couldn’t eat fast enough even after my bro took some home so I made jam w/ it. First attempt at #persimmonjam so I had no idea what I was doing. Googleing said persimmons have plenty of pectin naturally so I didn’t need pectin in powder form, but one of the recipes I saw did say use a cornstarch slurry so I did. Thank you so much!! and hahaha, I think you’re more original that you think, because I have seven WIPs right now and out of all of them, the word “moon” only appears one time lol. Here it is!

The moon was mostly obscured by the clouds, though whenever lightning struck, Izuku found that it was faintly visible. He stared, entranced, as the storm raged on outside, and the raindrops that poured down his window made it seem as though it were melting.

Thanks again! I can only hope I’ll complete these WIPs soon haha

🏞- Fave Arc in BNHA

I’d have to say my favorite arc (if we’re going actual arc here hehe, ‘cause otherwise my answer would change) has gotta be the Culture Festival arc! ^^ After the heavy arc before it, the culture festival was a very much-needed, light-hearted event full of cute things, feels, and so much goodness. It brought more side characters to the spotlight, resolved a few of my questions, and overall gave me intense feels haha. c: (I literally cried in public reading one of the chapters and I felt a little silly. But it was good and I don’t regret a thing!)

🕳- Most shocking plot twist/unexpected scene

Oooh boi. OAO I really had to think about this one, haha. I think the most unexpected scene that gave me some chills was seeing Shigaraki and his posse go after Overhaul, and you know… Hand man did what hand man wanna do. :O That shit was intense and tbh I wasn’t expecting him and Mr. Compress to go that far. I loved it and I can’t wait to see that animated! ^^

🌌- BNHA AU

I love all the AUs! ;A; But my top favorite has got to be the Fantasy AU, because boi. That ending that Bones studio gave us… was too precious! Also Bakugou’s design is top-notch. xD My next favorite is the Halloween AU because everyone’s designs are cute and match pretty well, and I have a strong weakness to Werewolf!Bakugo… ;_; As for fan-stuff, Villain!Deku or heck, any Villain!AU have been really dope. Honestly at first, I wasn’t really into it because “lol edgy” but meh, my inner closeted edge came out and I enjoy that AU and everyone’s renditions of it to bits. xD

🤡- Funniest character

I think the one character that has almost always given me laughs is Kaminari! :D He’s such a fun guy and I love that he teases Bakugou a lot, but is a total bro with everybody in the class and everyone seems to enjoy his company too! His facial expressions are hilarious (especially that “WHEYYY” derpy look haha) but he also has a really cool side. +_+ But he’s definitely the funniest one for me! c:

👀- Who has the most beautiful eyes?

Ooh, this one is a toughie. ;A; I love all of them?? But hmm… If I had to choose, I’d go with Todoroki’s eyes purely because of the heterochromia aspect of it! His vibrant blue and soft gray eyes, ahhh. @_@!

For Years and Years...

Ever since Katsuki first laid his eyes on Izuku, laid eyes on that blinding, innocent smile, Katsuki felt an odd connection to the other. Even if Izuku was the plainest one out of the entire village with no notable qualities to speak of, there was still something about him that tugged at Katsuki’s heartstrings—at his very soul.

He was curious. Curious as to what drew him towards Izuku and Izuku alone, towards what was undoubtedly something special about him that Katsuki couldn’t see but could feel. Why every “Kacchan!” caused his heart to flutter and cheeks to warm.

And so they became friends, playing together. Their brief time in the village during their youth passed by in the blink of an eye. But memories were made: playing in the dirt, jumping in puddles, climbing trees, eating fruit, bothering slime monsters, and more. Yet as they shared those moments together, different, foreign memories scattered themselves through Katsuki’s mind. They were fragmented; brief nostalgic recollections of a time that wasn’t of their era. There were tall, rectangular forests made of stone, large huts with flat wooden floors, and magical lights that glowed despite containing no firebugs or flames. But even if the surroundings in these alien memories differed to an almost frightening level, there was still one person that Katsuki recognized and kept him sane:

Izuku.

Even if his clothing was different, that voice, that smile, they all remained the same.

It had reached a point where Katsuki couldn’t recall which were real—the ones he distinctly remembered making in this world with his Izuku—and which were fake, were of a different world that felt almost like some strange, feverish dream. But calling it fake sounded wrong, sounded like he was vehemently denying a part of him that strongly believed these flashbacks to be something ethereal and magical in its own way. Something similar to that nagging feeling of connection that he still couldn’t shake off, as if the foreign memories were the shards of something whole, something he had to piece back together to find his answer.

But that once comforting feeling of being around Izuku soon transformed into something he resented. All because he couldn’t figure it out.

And so, at the tender age of five, he ran from the village in pursuit of adventure, of a new life.

One without Izuku.

And for a time, it worked. Katsuki gradually forgot about Izuku, both the real and foreign memories of his youth fading from the forefront of his mind until it was just another moment in an aged scrapbook abandoned in the dusty attic of his mind.

The foreign memories, too, never returned.

That is, until ten years later when they would meet again. Katsuki on the head of his dragon, Izuku on the ground with three others, pleading for his assistance on some quest of theirs.

At first, he didn’t recognize Izuku. Thought he was just another plain, ordinary peasant who dared to confront him, the Barbarian King of Dragons. But one good glance, and a soft “Kacchan? Is that you?” and all the memories came flooding back.

“... Deku?”

It’s been almost a year since he joined Izuku’s party. And every day since, he’s been rekindling his friendship with Izuku (only because Izuku insisted that Katsuki put some effort in, too).

That familiar, faint feeling of an almost spiritual connection with Izuku returned. The foreign memories, too, still play in his mind at times. This time they were of an older Izuku, dressed in a strange outfit reminiscent of some kind of green hare. But they were still fragmented. Still brief. They’re less frequent but stronger in their emotions.

And with this resurgence, so did his immature emotions of resentment and frustration because he had all these pieces of memories but no answers. Nowhere to even begin piecing together the disjointed puzzle pieces together.

But he did know his own feelings and memories about the Izuku in front of him. How his heart still quickened at Izuku’s smile, how Izuku’s kindness delighted him (but he won’t outright admit it), how Izuku’s stupid bravery was inspiring and equally infuriating at times.

“So... you’re telling me you like him, then?” Kirishima said, sprawling out on the grass next to Katsuki.

“What? The hell, were you even listening to me or has your lizard-side finally taken over your brain?”

Kirishima rolled onto his side, staring straight into Katsuki’s eyes, “No, I’m listening alright. It sounds like to me that you like Midoriya.”

Katsuki sighed in frustration. “How did you possibly get that out of everything I told you?”

“Let’s see, soul-connection feeling, flashbacks about him but in some other world or something like that, heart racing, blushing—”

Katsuki groaned. “Just shut up,” Katsuki said and then stood up, throwing his red cape over his back. He began trudging off towards no direction in particular, but farther away from the camp.

“Ah, Bakugou, wait!”

“Don’t follow,” Katsuki ordered. Then he continued on his walk alone, to clear his head and ponder.

It wasn’t for another few more days that he had to admit Kirishima was right.

Then, like a heavy lock has been removed on a weighted door that opened the path to the truth, his perception gradually changed. The memories shifted. They went from watching some fantastical spectacle of Izuku punching dangerous foes down with a fist into more intimate relations. Of hand holding. Of hugs. Even soft kisses.

Katsuki felt heady. The feeling in his chest grew with every day he got closer to Izuku. The sense of connection, of fate—something he thought was only a fairy tale, a children’s story—became all too real for him.

And now?

“So, see you later,” Izuku from another time says. He’s dressed once more in his strange green outfit, perhaps ready to fight foes. But he still had on that soft smile.

“Kacchan!” Izuku says.

Katsuki blinks, focusing on the present Izuku before him. His Izuku.

The breeze is strong as Izuku turns, holding one of his stray curls by his temple from blowing in front of his cheek. Stray petals from a nearby tree cross in front of his smile in a picturesque moment, accentuating his innocent and happy expression.

It was a sight that, no matter how many times he’s seen it, always took Katsuki’s breath away.

But then the fragmented memory returns.

Of Izuku lying motionless on the ground. His usual shining green eyes now dull. A cut on his freckled cheek. Blood trickling down his parted lips. A gash in his outfit.

It stings. It hurts. No matter how many times Katsuki has seen it, it still hurt.

Especially now, with his Izuku alive and well in front of him, smiling brilliantly with an almost infinite amount of joy and life. A stark contrast to the Izuku that he just saw that lay dead, motionless, lifeless.

Katsuki wraps his arms around Izuku’s warm neck, holding him tightly in a shaky embrace.

For years and years... I’ve always...

“Kacchan?” Izuku asks. His gloved hand lightly touches Katsuki’s shoulder.

Katsuki’s eyes sting as he pulls Izuku closer to his chest. He buries his head into the crook of Izuku’s neck.

“Hey, Kacchan? Is everything okay?” Izuku’s voice is delicate against Katsuki’s ear.

“Stay with me forever,” Katsuki whispers. “Please.” His voice cracks.

“Kacchan, what are you—?”

Izuku pauses, feeling Katsuki squeeze him tighter as something warm and wet soaks through the cloth on his shoulder.

Izuku relaxes and returns Katsuki’s embrace, hugging him. “Alright,” Izuku says softly, smiling into the fur on Katsuki’s cape. “We’ll be together. Forever.”

Katsuki sobs quietly into Izuku’s shoulder. Even though the strong breeze may drown out the noise to any nearby creature or being, it is still just barely audible to Izuku.

As they remained in their embrace for some time, moving leaves and grass the only indication that time still moves on, Izuku has time to remember.

A fragmented memory returns to him.

Of him looking up at a bright blue sky, just like the one they are both under right now. Of how his whole body is riddled with injuries both old and new, of how his breaths were shallow and painful to draw in and out.

Of how a few stray thoughts passed through his mind. About how sorry he is to his mother. To All Might. And most of all, to his partner, Kacchan.

Because his time was coming to an untimely end.

With his last breath, he remembers making one wish.

“I wish to be with Kacchan in the next life.”

Izuku holds Katsuki tightly.

Because for years and years... I’ve always loved you.
