April 16, Sunday.
One more week has gone, and I am glad of my discipline to study this weekend.
I had so many things to do, a lot o Java SE and EE review for my application, but I did it. Now, I have left only a few video classes to finish, and make a review based in lots of questions from a learning platform I use.
My test is on Sunday (23), and I am not nervous, but I really, really want to achieve this!
Well, all I can do now is to keep revising and studying the previous questions and do my best.
I wish you all a very nice week!
Wake up, kick #ss, repeat 😏❤

Fallen Python: Devoted Echo
Nobody laugh at my purple fire I tried 😭 It was really fun to make a heroes-esque backdrop, though! I think it came out real cool :) I ended up committing to the blue color scheme, and made his eyes a brighter ice-blue after realizing all the fallen heroes have spooky eyes

V, V, V — Day 17 : Green
As I have previously mentioned, Green is the antonym of purple. But since I have previously mentioned this, and written about it at the start of the month, I’m not going to write about it now because I do hate to repeat myself.
Instead I am going to slightly pre-empt myself and suggest that “It’s not easy being green”. (The pre-empting comes from the fact that the word for Day 22 is “Muppet”)
It is a relatively simple phrase, and was being used to describe the way Kermit looks.
But if you look at it from different points of view, it does kind of encompass the way the world is at the moment, the reason the planet is sliding into complete and total chaos, the reason we probably haven’t heard from any alien life in the thousands of years we’ve been able to receive such signals or receive such visits and the reason why film studios use green screen for most computer effects.
For some reason, green is the colour that is most disliked, most reviled, most hated by humanity.
We use it for “go” — the moment we see it we try to get away from it.
We use it when someone is ill — “you are a little green around the gills” we say, suggesting they do not look well and as such, somewhat unattractive.
And the odd thing is there is nothing I can find to explain all this — why we use other colours for positive things and yet use green for such negative things.
I suppose it could be related to the fact it is the base colour of nature — and nature, like a woman, will seduce you with its sights and its scents and its touch, and then it breaks your ankle, also like a woman.
And nature has been responsible for more deaths than anyone, or any group, in history. So it is quite understandable that we would want to shy away from it.
(All things dull and ugly, all creatures short and squat, all things rude and nasty, The Lord god made the lot)
We generally refer to beings from other planets as “little green men”, and then we suppose they will try to kill us — we associate the colour green with death. With violence and murder. (As I said — it will seduce you with its sights and sounds……….)
And a very specific colour green is rarely seen in films, because it is used to create fake worlds and fake images. You don’t see the colour, just the image it projects — as if the colour green is merely a cloak, hiding its true self.
Which brings me to Professor McGonagall — the witch who, despite being Head of Gryffindor (House Colours Red & Gold) is famous for wearing green — a colour we have already established as being a colour that covers its true intentions and hides a darkness behind the image it projects.
Just what is Minerva McGonagall hiding? Why does she wear the house colours of Slytherin (Green and Sliver) which are more obviously akin to those that should hide their true intentions?
Inquiring minds want to know.
And by inquiring minds, I mostly mean me. Because it has always made me wonder.
Plus Netflix UK just added all eight Harry Potter films and McGonagall just appeared on screen.
But mostly it is the “always made me wonder” thing.
