How would the spiderband (ATSV) react to being told they're the worst spider-man/woman? Well.

Based off of this post, that comic panel just struck me with a thirst for some angst so I shall gave in into its desires. (*´∀`)b

Miles E-1610: Congratulations! You just tore someone apart. Really, I think that if he heard that of someone else, even more so from another spider-person, he would crumble. He's just a 15-16 year old boy who's trying his hardest to keep up with his promise to Peter (1610). He is trying, and having someone say that he's not being good at it – actually the worst – would put him in a harsh mental state. Can see him trying to push off his limits and it does not end well.

Hobie Brown: "Eh? Wha' of it?" He's not taking it to the heart (at first). Prepare some quick shot back and he's off to keep doing his work. You'd think he wouldn't mind but taking his background into consideration, he would get this damn words at his front lobe once he's alone with his thoughts. He tries to brush it off but it's so... harsh? Will end up also trying to prove everyone wrong and ending up forcing himself to an absurd extent.

Gwen Stacy: Oh she's shooting back some quick reply, maybe even shutting the person's mouth with some webbing. But it would get her worried. "Am I really that bad?" "Did I do something wrong?" "Am I the right person for this?" and so on. Can see a possible panic attack (also with Miles) because again, they're both just teenagers who suddenly got the world's weight in responsibility onto their shoulders.

Pavitr Prabhakar: Would try to understand where this is coming from, but can't really comprehend. He's always doing his best and always managing to save everyone, he even takes care of dogs! How could he be the worst? Would probably be self-aware and question his capabilities because of the help he got when Spot was on his dimension. He's not forgetting these words.

Something I REALLY want in ATSV:

For Miles42 to see Gwen and he immediately pulls the 'Hey' thing on her and he does it 1000x smoother than Miles.

And Aaron42 is smirking all proud of his nephew meanwhile Miles it pissed 😭

Only for Gwen to be like "Uhhh, Other Miles already tried that on me, but I'm flattered, really"

Aaron is like "So my nephew got game in every universe"

And Gwens like "No, I said he tried. Emphasis on 'tried'."

ATSV fans are so obsessed with romance please watch the movie without your shipping goggles I genuinely promise that it will increase the experience tenfold...

'Omg Gwen pulled Miles away from Margo because she was jealous of her but she had no right because she was with Hobie-' or, and maybe if you had actually bothered to watch the movie you'd understand, Gwen was an emotionally vulnerable homeless teenager and had a friend! And, oh my god you'll never believe it, she pulled Miles away from Margo because she wanted to, get this, get to their destination!! It's crazy, right? Someone is walking somewhere and they get distracted so their friend gets them back on track, must be romantic. And uh, Miles and Margo, he looked at her and friends NEVER uhh... *Checks notes* look at each other...? And... Talk to each other...??

To be clear, I think Margo and Miles, Miles and Gwen, Margo and Gwen, whoever whatever is a cute ship! But if you literally over analyse every single scene and say your romantic interpretation of the characters is canon, then idk, don't get mad when people disagree with your opinion??

Spiderverse Pride Icons: Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy

I decided to make Pride icons of Miles and Gwen after mentioning it in my Miguel O'Hara post. I would like to point out that the one I used of Miles with his mask off is supposed to be upside down. But I can make another one where he's rightside up. It was the only transparent photo of him with his mask off. I also apologize for the crappy quality of the Gwen photos. They were the only ones I could find with her mask off. Those photos were definitely screen caps taken when Across the Spiderverse was still in theaters.
