#Truth coffee?
I just realized, earlier, the posts romanticising loneliness and sadness felt so sadistically appealing to me. Crying at 3 am with the lights off listening to some gut wrenching song, smiling and laughing when something is breaking you down. All of it. I yearned for it. But I realized, fuck that. Like I don't want that shit in my life. If I feel sad at 3 am I want to call up my best friend and get coffee or get fucking drunk and do the weirdest things. I don't want to smile when something hurts me I want to break down and fuck over everyone and write a heartbreak song and laugh at it later. I don't want to do the beautiful sadness thing man I just want to live to the fucking fullest and love and hate and shout and scream and have fun and win life.

reminder that making time for your friends, even when you're tried and socialising feels overwhelming is important to do every so often. it's especially important to do this actually.
time alone can be good, for a time, but humans are social creatures and we need to talk to people, there's nothing wrong with that!!
sometimes the more time you spend alone the more your brain will tell you to stay alone. that's not true, you're allowed to (and should!!) see people that are important to you. sometimes that alone can be surprisingly healing.

hi!!!!! what’s your process when drawing wings? i’ve been trying to study how you draw them but i can’t figure out the shape breakdown :,D anyway love your art!!! hope you’re having a great day!!!💖💕
HELLO!!! I thought about it a lot to try to put it to words and visuals ^_^ I hope this helps!
I tried to break down some of my own pieces (links to the individual posts [x] [x])
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Honestly, I think I still have a lot to learn. But more importantly, here's a more coherent compilation of notes I did:

A lot of it for me is figuring out how to understand how it bends and twists in a 3D space.
Flow is very very important to really get that sense of movement too, so it's very helpful to get that sense of muscle memory with the curves and edges.
and my final words are go check out @/ciearcab on twitter. the way they draw wings all contorted and with beautiful understanding of depth is my dream...
So yeah lots of practice and observing! Happy wing studying!!

LOVE, TRUTH, 04/16/2024
Tumblr media
"Go to the truth beyond the mind. Love is the bridge." Stephen Levine
I've never been fond of the word "love." I'm also not fond of the word "truth," for it can be awfully subjective at times. Both words carry a lot of emotional baggage. I'll admit, though, that having turned my back on them from time to time has never served me well. "Better to have loved and lost than to never have loved." Some day I may have a chance to discern whether or not that is true. In the meantime, I'm satisfied to be honest and to like and to avoid choking some idiots to within an inch of their sorry lives.

Futaba: Do you ever get so tired you start seeing spiders?
Ren: Yeah, that’s like after I’ve been drugged with like six doses of sodium amytal and start seeing the Hat Man.
Sojiro: WHO??
Ren: Oh, is this not a safe space suddenly?

Me? Writing more Pokemon AU? More likely than you think (Thank Harle for this)
~
“Steve! Can you go get the new shipment? I’m a little-” Robin shouts as she rushes past him, Steve poking his head out from where he was counting the waffles cones. Vanillite floats after her, only stopping as Robin disappears into the still quiet mall.
Steve rolls his eyes, Vanillite floating over to him with a curious look. “Come on bud, you’re coming with me.”
Vanillite smiles, already darting away with Steve walking right behind the floating Fresh Snow Pokemon. Steve walks through the back to reach the loading docks. The truck was already unloading, the worker hiding a smile behind his hand as a Machoke carried boxes after boxes down from the refrigerated back.
“Which one are you here for?”
“Scoops Ahoy.”
“Right, then sign here for me please.” He holds out a clipboard, Steve signing his name down before he’s directed to Scoops Ahoy’s crate. “Have a nice day!”
Steve waves back at him with a cordial smile, approaching the box. Vanillite plops right on top of the sealed box with her little nub hands gripping the edge, Steve waving her off. “You’re not much help carrying, bud.” He waves one of the Machoke workers over, the purple Pokemon walking over. “Help me get this on a cart, can you?”
The Machoke nods, picking up the box and following after Steve. There were spare carts hanging out by the entrance back into the mall, Steve taking ahold of one while the Machoke set the box down. “Thanks Machoke.”
Machoke makes a noise that Steve takes as a ‘You’re welcome’, Vanillite opening the door open for Steve to push the box inside. He grunts as he pushes it through. It felt heavier than usual. His boss must have ordered double or something.
Really, he’s not paid enough for this extra labour, but what can he do.
Eventually he gets the cart close enough that he can begin unloading the box into the fridge until it was ready to be brought out.
Steve opens the box, only to jump when a blue head pops out of it.
“Cub?” The pokemon says, Steve on the ground staring at the box. Vanillite floats over, prodding the stowaway on the head.
Steve’s brows furrow as he lets his heart stop beating so fast, his brain catching up to him a moment later. It was a Cubchoo blinking back at him from the box. Steve stands up, sighing and wiping down his butt before looking down at the Cubchoo. The Cubchoo sniffs loudly, Steve pressing his lips together as he watches its mucus bounce. “How’d you get in there? Wait-” Steve reaches in, lifting the small bear out to look at the tubs of ice cream. The Cubchoo doesn’t fight him, its little legs kicking idly as Steve held it.
“Seriously?! You ate the coffee ice cream?” Steve says, looking between the busted tub and the Cubchoo.
Cubchoo just sniffles again, Steve holding it away from him. Vanillite floats around them, making light tinkling noises like she was giggling. She floats down to the open tub, poking at the coffee tub.
“I hope coffee isn’t, like, bad for you. I really hope so,” Steve says.
“Cub…” The Cubchoo says, Steve setting Cubchoo down on the ground. His hands go right to his hips, staring down at the small bear.
“What am I gonna tell Robin, huh?”
“Tell me what?”
Steve jumps, spinning around. Robin raises an eyebrow at him before her eyes catch the Cubchoo. “Uh, Steve?”
“Robin.”
Robin points down at the Cubchoo. “What is that.”
“A Pokemon.”
“Oh. Wow. So smart of you I could have never guessed,” Robin sarcastically says. “Why is it here.”
Steve only points down at the open box in response, Robin walking over and looking in. She groans. “Really?”
“Really. You think it somehow got in?”
Robin reaches in, pulling out the destroyed tub. She sticks her tongue out, tossing it on the closest surface. Cubchoo wanders right over to it, staring up at the tub with twinkling eyes.
“Well, luckily there’s two tubs in here. Here’s hoping nobody buys out our coffee before next time.”
“Here’s hoping.” Steve mumbles. “What are we gonna do about the Cubchoo though?”
Robin shrugs. “Hope it doesn’t eat us out of our jobs?”
“You hear that? Don’t you dare eat us out of our jobs.”
The Cubchoo looks at them, sniffling again and pointing to the tub.
Steve stares at it before throwing his arms up. “Alright fine you can have the rest of the tub.”
Cubchoo cheers, Robin snorting.
“Softie. Now hurry up, the ice cream is gonna melt!”
“I’m coming, I’m coming. Sheesh, that’s why Vanillite is here! To keep things cold!”
“At least she’s more help than you are!”
“Hey I take offence to that.”
Robin cackles, pulling out tubs from the box and taking them to the walk-in, Vanillite happily dancing over the box and keeping it cold.
Steve hands Cubchoo the tub, Cubchoo digging in happily.

This interview has essentially revealed the bias persisting since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza and perhaps for years – the strong Western media bias towards the Israeli narrative. This interview exploded because we succeeded in presenting the strength of Palestinian narrative and the painful truth that cannot be ignored or erased. This stems from the power of the Palestinian cause’s justice, which alarmed her remarkably.
However, she revealed three things:
An inability to hear the truth as witnessed in a previous BBC interview where they cut the broadcast completely to avoid hearing the facts about the massacres committed b Israel.
Secondly, she displayed a racist element resorting to discussions about women and exhibiting deep ignorance in this area. Because anyone knows Mr.Mustafa Al Barghouti well knows that he is one of the biggest advocates for women’s rights in general. This is a serious racist comment, assuming that all Arabs, Muslims, and Palestinians do not respect women.
Thirdly, she demonstrated absolute unprofessionalism. No one in the world can conduct an interview in this manner.
she’s now in a problem of her own. She isolated herself and now there is an international campaign as understood, demanding for her dismissal with complaint with the British Journalist’s union about her unprofessional and utterly unacceptable behavior.
I interpret her explosion as a result of provocation due to her failure to cover the Palestinian narrative and the justice of the Palestinian cause, a fantastic reaction expanding globally. In my opinion, this interview has won us more international public opinion than hundreds of other interviews because it clearly exposed the bias of this type of Western media towards Israel. Extreme racism against Palestinians became evident making.
